Salat of Tawaf and Zamzam

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ یُمْشٰی بِہٖ

Allahumma innii asaluka bismikallazii yumshaa bihi

O Allah! I beseech You by Your name which makes possible motion

عَلٰی طَلَلِ الْمَآءِ کَمَا یُمْشٰی بِہٖ عَلٰی جُدَدِ الْاَرْضِ

alaa zulalil maai kama yumshaa bihi alaa judadil arzi

in the darkness of water as it does on land.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ یَہْتَزُّ لَہٗ عَرْشُکَ

wasaluka bismikal lazii tahtazuu lahu arshoka

I beseech You by Your Name which makes Your Arsh (Throne) swing.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ تَہْتَزُّ لَہٗ اَقْدَامُ مَلَآءِکَتِکَ

wasaluka bismikal lazii tahtazuu lahu aqdaamu malaikatika

I beseech You by Your Name which puts in motion the feet of Your angels.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ دَعَاکَ بِہٖ مُوْسٰی

waasaluku bismikallzii daaka bihi Musa

I beseech You by Your name by which Musa (Moses)

مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّوْرِ فَاسْتَجَبْتَ لَہٗ

min janibi-tturi fastajabta lahu

supplicated to You on Mount Sinai

وَ اَلْقَیْتَ عَلَیْہِ مَحَبَّۃً مِّنْکَ

waaalqaita alaihi mahabbatan minka

and You granted his supplication and met him with love.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِیْ غَفَرْتَ بِہٖ

waasaluka bismikallazii ghafarta bihi

I beseech You by Your name by which You granted immunity from sins

لِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہٖ

li-muhammadin sallallahu alaihi waalihi

to Muhammad Peace be upon him and his progeny

مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِہٖ وَ مَا تَاَخَّرَ

maa taqaddama min dhanbihi wamaa taakhara

and completed Your bounty on him,

وَ اَتْمَمْتَ عَلَیْہِ نِعْمَتَکَ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِیْ کَذَا وَ کَذَا

waatmamta alaihi niimataka an tafal bii.

treat me with (ask for your wishes).

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اِلَیْکَ فَقِیْرٌ وَ اِنِّیْ خَآئِفٌ مُسْتَجِیْرٌ

Allahumma innii ilaika faqiirun wainni khaifun mustajiirun

I am in need for Your mercy, fearful and seeking Your refuge.

فَلاَ تُغَیِّرْ جِسْمِیْ وَ لاَ تُبَدِّلْ اِسْمِیْ

falaa tughaiyir jismii walaa tabaddil ismii.

Do not change my body or my name.

سَائِلُکَ فَقِیْرُکَ مِسْکِیْنُکَ بِبَابِکَ

Saailuka faqiiruka miskiinuka bibaabika

Your beggar, Your poor one, Your destitute one is at Your door.

فَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَیْہِ بِالْجَنَّۃِ

fatasaddaq alaihi biljannati

So bestow upon him Paradise in charity.

اَللّٰہُمَّ الْبَیْتُ بَیْتُکَ وَ الْحَرَمُ حَرَمُکَ وَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدُکَ

allahumma albaitu baituka walharamu haramuka walabdu abduka

O Allah, the House is Your House, the Sanctuary is Your Sanctuary, and the servant is Your servant.

وَ ہٰذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ الْمُسْتَجِیْرِ بِکَ مِنَ النَّارِ

wahadhaa maqaamul aaidhibikal mustajiiri bika minannari

And this is the place of one seeking refuge, seeking protection with You from the Fire.

فَاَعْتِقْنِیْ وَ وَالِدَیَّ وَ اَہْلِیْ وَ وُلْدِیْ

faatiqnii wawaalidaiya waahlii wawuldiya

So free me, my parents, my family, and my children.

وَ اِخْوَانِیَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ مِنَ النَّارِ یَا جَوَادُ یَا کَرِیْمُ

waikhwaniyal muminina minannari yaa jawaduu ya karimu

And my believing brothers from the Fire, O Generous, O Noble.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اَدْخِلْنِیْ الْجَنَّۃَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ

Allahumma adkhilniil jannata berahmateka

O Allah! place me in Heaven by Your mercy,

وَ اَجِرْنِیْ بِرَحْمَتِکَ مِنَ النَّارِ

wa ajirnii birahmatika minannari

save me, by Your mercy, from the fire,

وَ عَافِنِیْ مِنَ السُّقْمِ

waafinii minnasuqmi

protect me from evil,

وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلَیَّ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ الْحَلاَلِ

waawsia alayya miarrizkil halali

increase for me lawful sustenance,

وَ ادْرَءْ عَنِّیْ شَرَّ فَسَقَۃِ الْجِنِّ وَ الْاِنْسِ

wadra annii sharra fasaqatil jinni walinsi

and save me from the viciousness of the jinn, men,

وَ شَرَّ فَسَقَۃِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ

washaraa fasaqatil arabi walajami.

and save me from the viciousness of the Arabs and non-Arabs

یَا ذَا المَنِّ وَ الطَّوْلِ وَ الْجُوْدِ وَ الْکَرَمِ

yadhal manni wattawli yadhal judi walkarimi

O one of bounty, might, generosity and nobility,

اِنَّ عَمَلِی ضَعِیفٌ فَضَاعِفْہُ لِی وَ تَقَبَّلْہُ مِنِّیْ

inna amalil zaiifun fazaaifahu lii wataqabbalhu minnii

my devotions are weak, make them stronger and accept them from me,

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ السَّمِیْعُ العَلِیْمُ

innaka antus-samiiul aliim.

truly You are All-Hearing, All-knowing

یَا اَللہُ یَا وَلِیَّ الْعَافِیَۃِ وَ خَالِقَ الْعَافِیَۃِ

Ya allahu ya waliyyul aafiyat wakhaleqal aafiyat

O Allah! O Controller of health and its Provider,

وَ رَازِقَ الْعَافِیَۃِ وَ الْمُنْعِمُ بِالْعَافِیَۃِ

waraziqal aafiyat walmunimu bilaafiyati

One who grants it, One who bestows it

وَ الْمُتَفَضِّلُ بِالْعَافِیَۃِ عَلَیَّ وَ عَلٰی جَمِیْعِ خَلْقِکَ

walmutafazzalal bilaafiyati alayya waalaa jamiie khalqika

as a reward or as a grace on me and all creation,

یَا رَحْمٰنَ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَۃِ

ya rahmana-dduniya walaakhirati

O Merciful in this world and the Hereafter,

وَ رَحِیْمَہُمَا صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

warahiimahumma salli alaa muhammadin waali muhamad

shower Muhammad and his progeny with Your blessings,

وَ ارْزُقْنَا الْعَافِیَۃَ وَ تَمَامَ الْعَافِیَۃِ

warzuqnal aafiyata watamamal aafiyati

grant me health, lasting and complete

وَ شُکْرَ الْعَافِیَۃِ فِی الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَۃِ

washukral aafiyati fidduniya walaakhirati

and thankfulness for it, in this world and in the Hereafter,

یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ

ya arhamarrahimin.

O Most Merciful of the merciful.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ شَرَّفَکِ وَ عَظَّمَکِ

Alhamdullahil lazii sharrafki waazzamaki

All praise is due to Allah who honored you and exalted you.

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ بَعَثَ مُحَمَّدًا نَبِیًّا

walhamdullillahiil lazii baasa muhammadan nabiyyan

And all praise is due to Allah who sent Muhammad as a Prophet.

وَ جَعَلَ عَلِیًّا اِمَامًا

wajaala alliyun imaman

And made Ali an Imam.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اہْدِ لَہٗ خِیَارَ خَلْقِکَ

Allahummahdi lahu khiyara khalqika

O Allah, guide towards him the best of Your creation.

وَ جَنِّبْہُ شِرَارَ خَلْقِکَ

wajannibhu shiraara khalkiqa

And keep away from him the worst of Your creation.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِی الدُّنْیَا حَسَنَۃً وَّ فِی الْآخِرَۃِ حَسَنَۃً

Rabbana aatina fidduniya hasanatan wafilakherati hasanatan

O Allah! grant me goodness in this world and the Hereafter

وَّ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

waqina adhabannar

and save me from the fire of Hell).

اَللّٰہُمَّ قَنِّعْنِیْ بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِیْ

Allahyma qanninii bima razaqtanii

O Allah! grant me contentment in the sustenance

وَ بَارِکْ لِیْ فِیْمَا آتَیْتَنِیْ

wabariklii fiima aataitanii.

You have provided me and bestow Your blessings on it.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اَمَانَتِیْ اَدَّیْتُہَا وَ مِیْثَاقِیْ

Allahumma amanatii addaituha wamiisakii

O Allah! I have discharged the trust reposed with me and fulfilled my promise

تَعَاہَدْتُہٗ لِتَشْہَدَ لِیْ بِالْمُوَافَاۃِ

taahadtuhu litashaada lii bilmuwaafat

so that You can be witness of my fulfillment.

اَللّٰہُمَّ الْبَیْتُ بَیْتُکَ وَ الْعَبْدُ عَبْدُکَ

Allahuma albaitu baituka walabdu abduka

O Allah! this House is Yours and this creature is Yours

وَ ہٰذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ بِکَ مِنَ النَّارِ

wahadhaa maqqamul aaidhi bika minnannari.

and this is the place for taking refuge in You from the fire of Hell

اَللّٰہُمَّ مِنْ قِبَلِکَ الرَّوْحُ وَ الْفَرَجُ وَ الْعَافِیَۃُ

Allahuma min qibalika-rrawhu walfaraju walaafiyautu.

O Allah! Comfort, relief, and health come only from You.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّ عَمَلِیْ ضَعِیْفٌ فَضَاعِفْہُ لِیْ

Allahuma inna amalii zaiifun fazaifhu lii

O Allah! My deeds are weak, so please increase their strength for me.

وَ اغْفِرْ لِیْ مَا اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَیْہِ مِنِّیْ

waghfirilii mattalata alaihi minni

And forgive me the sins that You have seen in me.

وَ خَفِيَ عَلٰی خَلْقِکَ اَسْتَجِیْرُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ النَّارِ

wakhafiya alaa khalqika astajiiru billahi minnanar.

And I seek refuge in Allah from the Fire for the sins hidden from Your creation.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّ عِنْدِیْ اَفْوَاجًا مِنْ ذُنُوْبٍ

Allahuma inna indii afwajan min dhunubin

O Allah, I have countless sins.

وَ اَفْوَاجًا منْ خَطَایَا وَ عِنْدَکَ اَفْوَاجٌ مِنْ رَحْمَۃٍ

waafwwajan min khatayaa wa indaka afwaajun min rahmatin

And many mistakes, but with You is abundant mercy.

وَ اَفْوَاجٌ مِنْ مَغْفِرَۃٍ یَا مَنِ اسْتَجَابَ لِاَبْغَضِ خَلْقِہٖ

waafwaajun min maghfiratin ya manistajab a liabghazi khalqhi

With endless forgiveness, O You who respond even to the most disliked of Your creation.

اِذْ قَالَ اَنْظِرْنِیْ اِلٰی یَوْمِ یُبْعَثُوْنَ اِسْتَجِبْ لِیْ

idh qala anzirnii ilaa yawmi yabasuuna istajiblii.

When he said, "Give me respite until the Day they are resurrected," so respond to me also.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ وَنَبِيِّكَ وَأَمِينِكَ وَحَبِيبِكَ وَنَجِيِّكَ وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin ‘abdika wa-rasūlika wa-nabiyyika wa-amīnika wa-ḥabībika wa-najiyyika wa-khīratika min khalqik

O Allah, bless Muhammad, Your servant, Messenger, Prophet, Trustee, Beloved, Close One, and Chosen from Your creation.

اَللّٰهُمَّ كَمَا بَلَّغَ رِسَالَاتِكَ وَجَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ وَصَدَعَ بِأَمْرِكَ وَأُوذِيَ فِيكَ وَفِي جَنْبِكَ حَتّٰى أَتَاهُ الْيَقِينُ

Allāhumma kamā ballagha risālātika wa-jāhada fī sabīlika wa-ṣada‘a bi-amrika wa-ūdhī fīka wa-fī janbik ḥattā atāhu al-yaqīn

O Allah, just as he conveyed Your messages, strove in Your path, proclaimed Your command, was harmed for Your sake, until certainty (death) came to him.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اقْلِبْنِي مُنْجِحًا مُفْلِحًا مُسْتَجَابًا لِي بِأَفْضَلِ مَا يَرْجِعُ بِهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْ وَفْدِكَ

Allāhumma iqlibnī munjiḥan mufaḥḥan mustajāban lī bi-afḍali mā yarji‘u bihi aḥadun min wafdik

O Allah, return me successful, prosperous, with answered prayers, with the best of what any of Your guests return with.

مِنَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ وَالْبَرَكَةِ وَالرِّضْوَانِ وَالْعَافِيَةِ فِيمَا يَسَعُنِي أَنْ أَطْلُبَ أَنْ تُعْطِيَنِي

Min al-maghfirati wa-al-barakati wa-ar-riḍwāni wa-al-‘āfiyati fīmā yasa‘unī an aṭluba an tu‘ṭiyanī

Of forgiveness, blessing, satisfaction, and well-being in whatever I can seek that You may grant me.

مِثْلَ الَّذِي أَعْطَيْتَهُ أَفْضَلَ مَنْ عَبَدَكَ وَتَزِيدَنِي عَلَيْهِ

Mithla alladhī a‘ṭaytahu afḍala man ‘abadaka wa-tazīdanī ‘alayh

Like what You granted the best of those who worshipped You, and increase it for me even more.

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ

Allāhumma lā taj‘alhu ākhira al-‘ahdi min baytik

O Allah, do not make this the last covenant with Your House.

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ حَمَلْتَنِي عَلَى دَابَّتِكَ وَسَيَّرْتَنِي فِي بِلَادِكَ

Allāhumma innī ‘abduka wa-ibnu ‘abdika wa-ibnu amatika ḥamaltanī ‘alā dābbatika wa-sayyartanī fī bilādik

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. You carried me on Your mount and caused me to travel through Your lands.

حَتّٰى أَدْخَلْتَنِي حَرَمَكَ وَأَمْنَكَ وَقَدْ كَانَ فِي حُسْنِ ظَنِّي بِكَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي

Ḥattā adkhaltanī ḥaramaka wa-amnak wa-qad kāna fī ḥusni ẓannī bika an taghfira lī dhunūbī

Until You brought me into Your sanctuary and safety, and I had hoped in You that You would forgive my sins.

فَإِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ غَفَرْتَ ذُنُوبِي فَازْدِدْ عَنِّي رِضًا وَقَرِّبْنِي إِلَيْكَ زُلْفٰى وَلَا تُبَاعِدْنِي

Fa-in kunta qad ghafarta dhunūbī fazdid ‘annī riḍan wa-qarribnī ilayka zulfan wa-lā tubā‘idnī

If You have forgiven my sins, then increase Your pleasure with me, bring me nearer to You, and do not distance me.

وَإِنْ كُنْتَ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لِي فَمِنَ الْآنَ فَاغْفِرْ لِي قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنْأَى عَنْ بَيْتِكَ دَارِي

Wa-in kunta lam taghfir lī fa-mina al-āni faghfir lī qabla an an’ā ‘an baytika dārī

And if You have not forgiven me, then from now, forgive me before I depart far from Your House to my home.

فَهٰذَا أَوَانُ انْصِرَافِي إِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ أَذِنْتَ لِي غَيْرَ رَاغِبٍ عَنْكَ وَلَا عَنْ بَيْتِكَ

Fahādhā awānu inṣirāfī in kunta qad adhinta lī ghayra rāghibin ‘anka wa-lā ‘an baytik

This is the time of my departure if You have permitted me, not turning away from You or from Your Sacred House.

وَلَا مُسْتَبْدِلٍ بِكَ وَلَا بِهِ

Wa-lā mustabdilin bika wa-lā bihi

Nor exchanging You for another, nor Your House for another.

اَللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَعَنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي حَتّٰى تُبَلِّغَنِي أَهْلِي

Allāhumma iḥfaẓnī min bayni yadayya wa-‘an khalfī wa-‘an yamīnī wa-‘an shimālī ḥattā tuballighanī ahlī

O Allah, protect me from before me, behind me, from my right, and from my left, until You safely return me to my family.

فَإِذَا بَلَّغْتَنِي أَهْلِي فَاكْفِنِي مَؤُونَةَ عِيَالِي فَإِنَّكَ وَلِيُّ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَمِنِّي

Fa-idhā ballaghtanī ahlī fakfinī ma’ūnata ‘iyālī fa-innaka waliyyu dhālika min khalqika wa-minnī

And when You bring me back to my family, then suffice me in providing for them, for You are the Protector of that among Your creation and for me.

آئِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ إِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُونَ رَاغِبُونَ إِلٰى رَبِّنَا رَاجِعُونَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللّٰهُ

Ā’ibūna tā’ibūna ‘ābidūna li-rabbinā ḥāmidūna ilā rabbinā munqalibūna rāghibūna ilā rabbinā rāji‘ūna in shā’a Allāh

We return, repentant, worshipping, praising our Lord. To our Lord we turn, desiring, and returning, if Allah wills.

اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد عَبْدِکَ وَ رَسُولِکَ

Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad ‘abdika wa-rasūlika

O Allah! have mercy on Muhammad, Your slave, Messenger,

وَ نَبِیِّکَ وَ أَمینِکَ وَ حَبیبِکَ وَ نَجِیِّکَ

wa nabiyyika wa amīnika wa ḥabībika wa najiyyika

Prophet, Trusted, Beloved, Noble

وَ خِیَرَتِکَ مِنْ خَلْقِکَ

wa khīratika min khalqik

and the best of Your creation.

أَللّهُمَّ کَما بَلَّغَ رِسالاتِکَ وَ جاهَدَ فی سَبیلِکَ

Allāhumma kamā ballagha risālātika wa jāhada fī sabīlika

O Allah! just as he delivered Your message, fought in Your cause,

وَ صَدَعَ بِأَمْرِکَ وَ أُوذِىَ فی جَنْبِکَ

wa ṣada‘a bi-amrika wa ūdhī fī janbik

accomplished Your commands

وَ عَبَدَکَ حَتّى أَتاهُ الیَقینُ

wa ‘abada-ka ḥattā atāhu al-yaqīn

and worshipped You to his last,

أللّهُمَّ اقْلِبْنی مُفلِحاً مُنْجِحاً مُسْتَجاباً

Allāhumma iqlibnī mufliḥan munjiḥan mustajāban

! turn my fortunes around by granting me success, salvation

بِأَفْضَلِ مایَرْجِعُ بِهِ اَحَدٌ مِنْ وَفْدِکَ مِنَ المَغْفِرَةِ وَ الْبَرَکَةِ وَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَ الرِّضْوانِ وَ الْعافِیَةِ

bi-afḍali mā yarji‘u bihi aḥadun min wafdika mina al-maghfirati wa-al-barakati wa-ar-raḥmati wa-ar-riḍwāni wa-al-‘āfiyati

with the best that anyone among Your guests can return with — forgiveness, blessing, mercy, satisfaction, and well-being.
