About

﷽

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

This project has been built for the benefit of believers around the world, to make the experience of finding and reading duas, ziyarats and amaal easier.

This website has been built by a believer in need of your duas.

Follows the recitation, line by line

Press Listen and the line being recited is highlighted and kept in view. Tap any line to play from there. We believe Duas Online is the first Shia dua library to do this.

Presentation mode

Press Present and the dua fills the screen one line at a time, turning with the recitation. Made for mosques and majalis, and just as good at home: one line, nothing else.

Read your way

Four text sizes. Arabic alone, English alone, or with transliteration. Dark or light. Every choice kept on your device.

English that reads well

Where a translation's English has aged, an optimised English says the same thing plainly. On by default; the source's wording is one switch away.

Search that understands your spelling

Search in Arabic, English or transliteration. Kumail, komail and kumayl all find Dua Kumayl, and the search looks inside the text too.

Fast, wherever you are

Every page is built in advance and served from servers near you, so pages open in a moment on any connection.

Reading without a connection

After your first visit, the duas are kept on your device for reading with no signal. The offline page shows what is saved.

What to read now

The home page suggests what to read for the moment: the time of day, the day of the week and the Islamic date.

Every text names its source on the page, duas.org first of all. If something is wrong or missing, tell us on the feedback page.
