1. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ولِيَّ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ وَلِيِّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waliyya allahi wabna waliyyihi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s intimate servant and son of His intimate servant.

2. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ حُجَّتِهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya hujjata allahi wabna hujjatihi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s argument and son of His argument.

3. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَفِيَّ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ صَفِيِّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya safiyya allahi wabna safiyyihi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s choice and son of His choice.

4. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا امِينَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ امينِهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya amina allahi wabna aminihi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s trustee and son of His trustee.

5. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ ٱلارْضِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya nura allahi fi zulumati al-ardi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s light in the darkness of the earth.

6. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِِمَامَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya imama alhuda*\
   Peace be upon you, O leader to the true guidance.

7. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَلَمَ ٱلدِّينِ وَٱلتُّقَىٰ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya \`alama alddini walttuqa*\
   Peace be upon you, O signpost of religiousness and piety.

8. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَازِنَ عِلْمِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya khazina \`ilmi alnnabiyyina*\
   Peace be upon you, O keeper of the knowledge of the Prophets.

9. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَازِنَ عِلْمِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya khazina \`ilmi almursalina*\
   Peace be upon you, O keeper of the knowledge of the Messengers.

10. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَائِبَ ٱلاوْصِيَاءِ ٱلسَّابِقِينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya na'iba al-awsiya'i alssabiqina*\
   Peace be upon you, O deputy of the preceding Successors (of the Prophets).

11. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَعْدِنَ ٱلْوَحْي ِٱلْمُبِينِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya ma\`dina alwahyi almubini*\
   Peace be upon you, O essence of the manifest Revelation.

12. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَاحِبَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ٱلْيَقِينِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya sahiba al\`ilmi alyaqini*\
   Peace be upon you, O holder of the certain knowledge.

13. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَيْبَةَ عِلْمِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya \`aybata \`ilmi almursalina*\
   Peace be upon you, O case of the knowledge of the Messengers.

14. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلصَّالِحُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha al-imamu alssalihu*\
   Peace be upon you, O righteous leader.

15. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلزَّاهِدُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha al-imamu alzzahidu*\
   Peace be upon you, O ascetic leader.

16. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلْعَابِدُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha al-imamu al\`abidu*\
   Peace be upon you, O oft-worshipping leader.

17. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلسَّيِّدُ ٱلرَّشِيدُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha al-imamu alssayyidu alrrashidu*\
   Peace be upon you, O prudent leader and chief.

18. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلْمَقْتُولُ ٱلشَّهِيدُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha almaqtulu alshshahidu*\
   Peace be upon you, O slain and martyred.

19. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنَ وَصِيِّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna rasuli allahi wabna wasiyyihi*\
   Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger and son of his successor.

20. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ مُوسَىٰ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya mawlaya musa bna ja\`farin*\
   Peace be upon you, O my master Musa son of Ja'far.

21. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.

22. اشْهَدُ انَّكَ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ عَنِ ٱللَّهِ مَا حَمَّلَكَ\
   *ashhadu annaka qad ballaghta \`an allahi ma hammalaka*\
   I bear witness that you conveyed faithfully that which Allah ordered You to convey,

23. وَحَفِظْتَ مَا ٱسْتَوْدَعَكَ\
   *wa hafizta ma istawda\`aka*\
   safeguarded that which He entrusted with you,

24. وَحَلَّلْتَ حَلاَلَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa hallalta halala allahi*\
   decided as lawful all that which Allah has deemed lawful,

25. وَحَرَّمْتَ حَرَامَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa harramta harama allahi*\
   decided as unlawful all that which Allah has deemed unlawful,

26. وَاقَمْتَ احْكَامَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa aqamta ahkama allahi*\
   carried out the decrees of Allah,

27. وَتَلَوْتَ كِتَابَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa talawta kitaba allahi*\
   recited the Book of Allah,

28. وَصَبَرْتَ عَلَىٰ ٱلاذَىٰ فِي جَنْبِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa sabarta \`ala al-adha fi janbi allahi*\
   endured harm for the sake of Allah,

29. وَجَاهَدْتَ فِي ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ\
   *wa jahadta fi allahi haqqa jihadihi*\
   and strove in the way of Allah as it ought to be striven

30. حَتَّىٰ اتَاكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ\
   *hatta ataka alyaqinu*\
   until death came upon you.

31. وَاشْهَدُ انَّكَ مَضَيْتَ\
   *wa ashhadu annaka madayta*\
   I also bear witness that you passed away

32. عَلَىٰ مَا مَضَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آبَاؤُكَ ٱلطَّاهِرُونَ\
   *\`ala ma mada \`alayhi aba'uka alttahiruna*\
   carrying the same principles on which your immaculate fathers

33. وَاجْدَادُكَ ٱلطَّيِّبُونَ\
   *wa ajdaduka alttayyibuna*\
   and pure forefathers

34. ٱلاوْصِيَاءُ ٱلْهَادُونَ\
   *al-awsiya'u alhaduna*\
   the successors, guides,

35. ٱلائِمَّةُ ٱلْمَهْدِيُّونَ\
   *al-a'immatu almahdiyyuna*\
   leaders, and rightly guided ones passed away.

36. لَمْ تُؤْثِرْ عَمىًٰ عَلَىٰ هُدىًٰ\
   *lam tu'thir \`aman \`ala hudan*\
   You never preferred blindness to true guidance

37. وَلَمْ تَمِلْ مِنْ حَقٍّ إِلَىٰ بَاطِلٍ\
   *wa lam tamil min haqqin ila batilin*\
   and never slanted from right to wrong.

38. وَاشْهَدُ انَّكَ نَصَحْتَ لِلَّهِ\
   *wa ashhadu annaka nasahta lillahi*\
   I also bear witness that you acted sincerely to Allah,

39. وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلاِمِيـرِ ٱلْمُؤمِنِينَ\
   *wa lirasulihi wa li'amiri almu'minina*\
   to His Messenger, and to the Commander of the Faithful,

40. وَانَّكَ ادَّيْتَ ٱلامَانَةَ\
   *wa annaka addayta al-amanata*\
   fulfilled the trust,

41. وَٱجْتَنَبْتَ ٱلْخِيَانَةَ\
   *wajtanabta alkhiyanata*\
   avoided betrayal,

42. وَاقَمْتَ ٱلصَّلاَةَ\
   *wa aqamta alssalata*\
   performed the prayers,

43. وَآتَيْتَ ٱلزَّكَاةَ\
   *wa atayta alzzakata*\
   defrayed the poor-rate,

44. وَامَرْتَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ\
   *wa amarta bilma\`rufi*\
   enjoined the right,

45. وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنْكَرِ\
   *wa nahayta \`an almunkari*\
   forbade the evil,

46. وَعَبَدْتَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصاً\
   *wa \`abadta allaha mukhlisan*\
   and served Allah earnestly

47. مُجْتَهِداً مُحْتَسِباً\
   *mujtahidan muhtasiban*\
   and painstakingly, expecting His reward,

48. حَتَّىٰ اتَاكَ ٱلْيَقِيـنُ\
   *hatta ataka alyaqinu*\
   until death came upon you.

49. فَجَزَاكَ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلإِسْلاَمِ وَاهْلِهِ\
   *fajazaka allahu \`an al-islami wa ahlihi*\
   So, may Allah reward you on behalf of Islam and its people

50. افْضَلَ ٱلْجَزَاءِ وَاشْرَفَ ٱلْجَزَاءِ\
   *afdala aljaza'i wa ashrafa aljaza'i*\
   with the best reward and the most honoring reward.

51. اتَيْتُكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ زَائِراً\
   *ataytuka yabna rasuli allahi za'iran*\
   I have come to you, O son of Allah’s Messenger, visiting you,

52. عَارِفاً بِحَقِّكَ\
   *\`arifan bihaqqika*\
   recognizing your right,

53. مُقِرّاً بِفَضْلِكَ\
   *muqirran bifadlika*\
   admitting your precedence,

54. مُحْتَمِلاًَ لِعِلْمِكَ\
   *muhtamilan li\`ilmika*\
   knowing about your knowledgeability,

55. مُحْتَجِباً بِذِمَّتِكَ\
   *muhtajiban bidhimmatika*\
   seeking shield with your inviolability,

56. عَائِذاً بِقَبْرِكَ\
   *\`a'idhan biqabrika*\
   seeking protection with your grave,

57. لاَئِذاً بِضَرِيـحِكَ\
   *la'idhan bidarihika*\
   resorting to your tomb,

58. مُسْتَشْفِعاً بِكَ إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ\
   *mustashfi\`an bika ila allahi*\
   seeking your intercession with Allah,

59. مُوَالِياً لاِوْلِيَائِكَ\
   *muwaliyan li'awliya'ika*\
   declaring loyalty to your loyalists,

60. مُعَادِياً لاِعْدَائِكَ\
   *mu\`adiyan li'a\`da'ika*\
   incurring the animosity of your enemies,

61. مُسْتَبْصِراً بِشَانِكَ\
   *mustabsiran bisha'nika*\
   seeking insight of your standing

62. وَبِٱلْهُدَىٰ ٱلَّذِي انْتَ عَلَيْهِ\
   *wa bilhuda alladhi anta \`alayhi*\
   and true guidance you are leading to,

63. عَالِماً بِضَلاَلَةِ مَنْ خَالَفَكَ\
   *\`aliman bidalalati man khalafaka*\
   and having full acquaintance with the straying of those who dissent from you

64. وَبِٱلْعَمَىٰ ٱلَّذِي هُمْ عَلَيْهِ\
   *wa bil\`ama alladhi hum \`alayhi*\
   and the blindness they are following.

65. بِابِي انْتَ وَامِّي\
   *bi'abi anta wa ummi*\
   Ransoms for you be my father, mother,

66. وَنَفْسِي وَاهْلِي\
   *wa nafsi wa ahli*\
   myself, my family members,

67. وَمَالِي وَوَلَدِي\
   *wa mali wa waladi*\
   my property, and my sons.

68. يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *yabna rasuli allahi*\
   O son of Allah’s Messenger,

69. اتَيْتُكَ مُتَقَرِّباً بِزِيَارَتِكَ إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ\
   *ataytuka mutaqarriban biziyaratika ila allahi ta\`ala*\
   I have come to you seeking nearness to Allah the All-exalted by visiting you

70. وَمُسْتَشْفِعاً بِكَ إِِلَيْهِ\
   *wa mustashfi\`an bika ilayhi*\
   and seeking your intercession for me with Him;

71. فَٱشْفَعْ لِي عِنْدَ رِبِّكَ\
   *fashfa\` li \`inda rabbika*\
   So, (please) intercede for me with your Lord

72. لِيَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي\
   *liyaghfira li dhunubi*\
   so that He may forgive my sins,

73. وَيَعْفُوَ عَنْ جُرْمِي\
   *wa ya\`fuwa \`an jurmi*\
   pardon my offences,

74. وَيَتَجَاوَزَ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِي\
   *wa yatajawaza \`an sayyi'ati*\
   overlook my evildoings,

75. وَيَمْحُوَ عَنِّي خَطِيئَاتِي\
   *wa yamhuwa \`anni khati'iati*\
   erase my wrongdoings,

76. وَيُدْخِلَنِي ٱلْجَنَّةَ\
   *wa yudkhilani aljannata*\
   allow me to enter Paradise,

77. وَيَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيَّ بِمَا هُوَ اهْلُهُ\
   *wa yatafaddala \`alayya bima huwa ahluhu*\
   endue me with favors that suit His generosity,

78. وَيَغْفِرَ لِي وَلآِبَائِي\
   *wa yaghfira li wa li'aba'i*\
   and forgive me, my forefathers,

79. وَلإِِِخْوَانِي وَاخَوَاتِي\
   *wa li'ikhwani wa akhawati*\
   my brothers, my sister,

80. وَلِجَمِيعِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ\
   *wa lijami\`i almu'minina walmu'minati*\
   and all believing men and women

81. فِي مَشَارِقِ ٱلارْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا\
   *fi mashariqi al-ardi wa magharibiha*\
   in the east and west of the earth,

82. بِفَضْلِهِ وَجُودِهِ وَمَنِّهِ\
   *bifadlihi wa judihi wa mannihi*\
   out of His favoring, magnanimity, and benevolence.

83. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya mawlaya*\
   Peace be upon you, O my master

84. يَا مُوسَىٰ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ\
   *ya musa bna ja\`farin*\
   Musa the son of Ja'far.

85. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.

86. اشْهَدُ انَّكَ ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلْهَادِي\
   *ashhadu annaka al-imamu alhadi*\
   I bear witness that you are truly the guiding leader

87. وَٱلْوَلِيُّ ٱلْمُرْشِدُ\
   *walwaliyyu almurshidu*\
   and the guardian who leads to the right guidance,

88. وَانَّكَ مَعْدِنُ ٱلتَّنْزِيلِ\
   *wa annaka ma\`dinu alttanzili*\
   you are truly the core of the Revelation,

89. وَصَاحِبُ ٱلتَّاوِيلِ\
   *wa sahibu altta'wili*\
   the man of true interpretation,

90. وَحَامِلُ ٱلتَّوْرَاةِ وَٱلإِنْجِيلِ\
   *wa hamilu alttawrati wal-injili*\
   the bearer of the Torah and the Gospel,

91. وَٱلْعَالِمُ ٱلْعَادِلُ\
   *wal\`alimu al\`adilu*\
   the knowledgeable, the decent,

92. وَٱلصَّادِقُ ٱلْعَامِلُ\
   *walssadiqu al\`amilu*\
   the veracious, and the one who puts his knowledge in practice.

93. يَا مَوْلاَيَ انَا ابْرَا إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ اعْدَائِكَ\
   *ya mawlaya ana abra'u ila allahi min a\`da'ika*\
   O my master, I repudiate your enemies in the presence of Allah

94. وَاتَقَرَّبُ إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ بِمُوَالاَتِكَ\
   *wa ataqarrabu ila allahi bimuwalatika*\
   and I seek nearness to Allah through loyalty to you.

95. فَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ\
   *fasalla allahu \`alayka*\
   So, may Allah bless you,

96. وَعَلَىٰ آبَائِكَ وَاجْدَادِكَ وَابْنَائِكَ\
   *wa \`ala aba'ika wa ajdadika wa abna'ika*\
   your fathers, your forefathers, your descendants,

97. وَشِيعَتِكَ وَمُحِبِّيكَ\
   *wa shi\`atika wa muhibbika*\
   your partisans, and your devotees.

98. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon them.

99. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِٱللَّهِ\
   *bismi allahi wa billahi*\
   In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I trust),

100. وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa fi sabili allahi*\
   on the way of Allah (I proceed),

101. وَعَلَىٰ مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa \`ala millati rasuli allahi*\
   and on the norm of the Messenger of Allah,

102. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   may Allah bless him and his Household,

103. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ اوْلِيَاءِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa alssalamu \`ala awliya'i allahi*\
   and peace be upon the intimate servants of Allah.

104. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ ٱلارْضِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya nura allahi fi zulumati al-ardi*\
   Peace be upon you, O light of Allah in the darkness of the earth.

105. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waliyya allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s intimate servant.

106. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya hujjata allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s argument.

107. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَابَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya baba allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O door to Allah.

108. اشْهَدُ انَّكَ اقَمْتَ ٱلصَّلاَةَ\
   *ashhadu annaka aqamta alssalata*\
   I bear witness that you performed the prayers,

109. وَآتَيْتَ ٱلزَّكَاةَ\
   *wa atayta alzzakata*\
   defrayed the poor-rate,

110. وَامَرْتَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ\
   *wa amarta bilma\`rufi*\
   enjoined the right,

111. وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنْكَرِ\
   *wa nahayta \`an almunkari*\
   forbade the wrong,

112. وَتَلَوْتَ ٱلْكِتَابَ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ\
   *wa talawta alkitaba haqqa tilawatihi*\
   recited the Book as it should be recited,

113. وَجَاهَدْتَ فِي ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ\
   *wa jahadta fi allahi haqqa jihadihi*\
   strove for the sake of Allah as exactly as strife should be,

114. وَصَبَرْتَ عَلَىٰ ٱلاذَىٰ فِي جَنْبِهِ مُحْتَسِباً\
   *wa sabarta \`ala aladha fi janbihi muhtasiban*\
   endured harm for His sake expecting His reward,

115. وَعَبَدْتَهُ مُخْلِصاً حَتَّىٰ اتَاكَ ٱلْيَقِيـنُ\
   *wa \`abadtahu mukhlisan hatta ataka alyaqinu*\
   and served Him sincerely until death came upon you.

116. اشْهَدُ انَّكَ اوْلَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وِبِرَسُولِهِ\
   *ashhadu annaka awla billahi wa birasulihi*\
   I bear witness that you are the closest to Allah and His Messenger

117. وَانَّكَ ٱبْنُ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَقّاً\
   *wa annaka ibnu rasuli allahi haqqan*\
   and you are truly the son of Allah’s Messenger.

118. ابْرَا إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ اعْدَائِكَ\
   *abra'u ila allahi min a\`da'ika*\
   I repudiate your enemies in the presence of Allah

119. وَاتَقَرَّبُ إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ بِمُوَالاَتِكَ\
   *wa ataqarrabu ila allahi bimuwalatika*\
   and seek nearness to Allah through my loyalty to you.

120. اتَيْتُكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ عَارِفاً بِحَقِّكَ\
   *ataytuka ya mawlaya \`arifan bihaqqika*\
   I have come to you, O my master, recognizing your right,

121. مُوَالِياً لاِوْلِيَائِكَ\
   *muwaliyan li'awliya'ika*\
   declaring loyalty to your loyalists,

122. مُعَادِياً لاِعْدَائِكَ\
   *mu\`adiyan li'a\`da'ika*\
   and incurring the animosity of your enemies;

123. فَٱشْفَعْ لِي عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ\
   *fashfa\` li \`inda rabbika*\
   so, (please) intercede for me with your Lord.

124. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna rasuli allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger.

125. اشْهَدُ انَّكَ صَادِقٌ\
   *ashhadu annaka sadiqun*\
   I bear witness that you are veracious.

126. ادَّيْتَ نَاصِحاً\
   *addayta nasihan*\
   You fulfilled \[your duty\] sincerely,

127. وَقُلْتَ امِيناً\
   *wa qulta aminan*\
   spoke honestly,

128. وَمَضَيْتَ شَهِيداً\
   *wa madayta shahidan*\
   and passed away as martyr.

129. لَمْ تُؤْثِرْ عَمىًٰ عَلَىٰ ٱلْهُدَىٰ\
   *lam tu'thir \`aman \`ala alhuda*\
   You never preferred blindness to the true guidance

130. وَلَمْ تَمِلْ مِنْ حَقٍّ إِلَىٰ بَاطِلٍ\
   *wa lam tamil min haqqin ila batilin*\
   and never slanted from right to wrong.

131. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ\
   *salla allahu \`alayka*\
   May Allah send blessings upon you,

132. وَعَلَىٰ آبَائِكَ وَابْنَائِكَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ\
   *wa \`ala aba'ika wa abna'ika alttahirina*\
   upon your fathers, and upon your sons the immaculate.

133. اَللَّهُمَّ إِِلَيْكَ ٱعْتَمَدْتُ\
   *allahumma ilayka i\`tamadtu*\
   O Allah, I have had recourse to You,

134. وَإِِلَيْكَ قَصَدْتُ\
   *wa ilayka qasadtu*\
   made my way to You,

135. وَبِفَضْلِكَ رَجَوْتُ\
   *wa bifadlika rajawtu*\
   hoped for Your favoring,

136. وَقَبْرَ إِِمَامِيَ ٱلَّذِي اوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ طَاعَتَهُ زُرْتُ\
   *wa qabra imamiya alladhi awjabta \`alayya ta\`atahu zurtu*\
   visited the tomb of my Imam the obedience to whom You have made obligatory on me,

137. وَبِهِ إِِلَيْكَ تَوَسَّلْتُ\
   *wa bihi ilayka tawassaltu*\
   and I have chosen him as my means to You;

138. فَبِحَقِّهِمُ ٱلَّذِي اوْجَبْتَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِكَ\
   *fabihaqqihimu alladhi awjabta \`ala nafsika*\
   so, \[I beseech You\] in the name of their rights which You have made incumbent upon Yourself,

139. ٱغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *ighfir li wa liwalidayya wa lilmu'minina*\
   forgive me, my parents, and the believers,

140. يَا كَرِيـمُ\
   *ya karimu*\
   O All-generous.

141. اَللَّهُمَّ قَدْ عَلِمتَ حَوَائِجِي\
   *allahumma qad \`alimta hawa'iji*\
   O Allah, You have already known my requests;

142. فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَٱقْضِهَا\
   *fasalli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin waqdiha*\
   so, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and settle them for me.

143. اَللَّهُمَّ قَدْ احْصَيْتَ ذُنُوبِي\
   *allahumma qad ahsayta dhunubi*\
   O Allah, You have certainly taken account of my sins;

144. فَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *fabihaqqi muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   so, \[I beseech You\] in the name of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

145. صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

146. وَٱغْفِرْهَا وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيَّ بِمَا انْتَ اهْلُهُ\
   *waghfirha wa tasaddaq \`alayya bima anta ahluhu*\
   forgive them, and grant me as charity that which suits You.

147. شُكْراً\
   *Shukran*\
   Thanks.

148. أَللَّهمَّ عَظُمَ الْبَلاءُ، وَبَرِحَ الْخَفاءُ ، وَانْكَشَفَ الْغِطاءُ ،\
   “O’ Allah, the affliction is great, the concealment has evaded, and the veil is uncovered, and the hope has come to an end,

149. وَضاقَتِ الْأَرْضُ، وَمُنِعَتِ السَّماءُ ،\
   the Earth has become tightened and the Heaven has averted,

150. وَأَنْتَ يا رَبِّ الْمُسْتَعانُ ، وَ إِلَيْكَ يا رَبِّ الْمُشْتَكى .\
   You are the Helper and to You we laid our complain.

151. أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ ، اَلَّذينَ فَرَضْتَ طاعَتَهُمْ ، وَعَرَّفْتَنا بِذلِكَ مَنْزِلَتَهُمْ ، وَفَرِّجْ عَنَّا كَرْبَنا قَريباً كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ ، أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ ،\
   O’ Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the leader whose obedience You have made obligatory on us, and defined their rank to us, so relief us such a quick relief for their sake within twinkle of eye or even close than that,

152. يا أَبْصَرَ النَّاظِرينَ، وَيا أَسْمَعَ السَّامِعينَ، وَيا أَسْرَعَ الْحاسِبينَ، وَيا أَحْكَمَ الْحاكِمينَ .\
   O’ the most observant of all the observers, O’ the most hearing of all the hearers, O’ the quickest of all reckoners, O the most wise of all wise men,

153. يا مُحَمَّدُ يا عَلِيُّ، يا عَلِيُّ يا مُحَمَّدُ، يا مُصْطَفى يا مُرْتَضى، يا مُرْتَضى يا مُصْطَفى ، اُنْصُراني فَإِنَّكُما ناصِرايَ ، وَاكْفِياني فَإِنَّكُما كافِيايَ ، يا صاحِبَ الزَّمانِ ، اَلْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ ، أَدْرِكْني أَدْرِكْني أَدْرِكْني ،\
   O’ Muhammad, O’ Ali, O’ Ali, O’ Muhammad, O’ Mustafa (the chosen one), O’ Murtaza (the satisfied one), O’ Murtaza, O’ Mustafa, help me, indeed both of You are worthy of that, suffice me, indeed both of You are worthy of that, O’ Master of time, relief, relief, relief, accept me, accept me, accept me.

154. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاهْلِ بَيْتِهِ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ahli baytihi*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household

155. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ\
   *wa salli \`ala musa bni ja\`farin*\
   and send blessings upon Musa the son of Ja'far,

156. وَصِيِّ ٱلابْرَارِ\
   *wasiyyi al-abrari*\
   the successor of the righteous ones,

157. وَإِِمَامِ ٱلاخْيَارِ\
   *wa imami al-akhyari*\
   the leader of the excellent ones,

158. وَعَيْبَةِ ٱلانْوَارِ\
   *wa \`aybati al-anwari*\
   the case of illuminations,

159. وَوَارِثِ ٱلسَّكِينَةِ وَٱلْوَقَارِ\
   *wa warithi alssakinati walwaqari*\
   and the inheritor of tranquility, solemnity,

160. وَٱلْحِكَمِ وَٱلآثَارِ\
   *walhikami wal-athari*\
   wisdoms, and traditions,

161. ٱلَّذِي كَانَ يُحْيِي ٱللَّيْلَ بِٱلسَّهَرِ إِِلَىٰ ٱلسَّحَرِ\
   *alladhi kana yuhyi allayla bilssahari ila alssahari*\
   who used to spend nights sleeplessly up to the early dawn

162. بِمُوَاصَلَةِ ٱلِٱسْتِغْفَارِ\
   *bimuwasalati alistighfari*\
   with continuous implorations for forgiveness.

163. حَلِيفِ ٱلسَّجْدَةِ ٱلطَّوِيلَةِ\
   *halifi alssajdati alttawilati*\
   He was inseparable associate of lengthy prostrations,

164. وَٱلدُّمُوعِ ٱلْغَزِيرَةِ\
   *walddumu\`i alghazirati*\
   heavy tears,

165. وَٱلْمُنَاجَاةِ ٱلْكَثِيـرَةِ\
   *walmunajati alkathirati*\
   very much confidential talks,

166. وَٱلضَّرَاعَاتِ ٱلْمُتَّصِلَةِ\
   *walddara\`ati almuttasilati*\
   and incessant implorations.

167. وَمَقَرِّ ٱلنُّهَىٰ وَٱلْعَدْلِ\
   *wa maqarri alnnuha wal\`adli*\
   He was the center of understanding, justice,

168. وَٱلْخَيْرِ وَٱلْفَضْلِ\
   *walkhayri walfadli*\
   goodness, virtue,

169. وَٱلنَّدَىٰ وَٱلْبَذْلِ\
   *walnnada walbadhli*\
   generosity, and liberality.

170. وَمَالَفِ ٱلْبَلْوَىٰ وَٱلصَّبْرِ\
   *wa ma'lafi albalwa walssabri*\
   He was also accustomed to ordeals and endurance

171. وَٱلْمُضْطَهَدِ بِٱلظُّلْمِ\
   *walmudtahadi bilzzulmi*\
   and he was persecuted wrongfully,

172. وَٱلْمَقْبُورِ بِٱلْجَوْرِ\
   *walmaqburi biljawri*\
   entombed unjustly,

173. وَٱلْمُعَذَّبِ فِي قَعْرِ ٱلسُّجُونِ\
   *walmu\`adhdhabi fi qa\`ri alssujuni*\
   and tortured in the bottom of jails

174. وَظُلَمِ ٱلْمَطَامِيـرِ\
   *wa zulami almatamiri*\
   and darkness of cells.

175. ذِي ٱلسَّاقِ ٱلْمَرْضُوضِ بِحَلَقِ ٱلْقُيُودِ\
   *dhi alssaqi almardudi bihalaqi alquyudi*\
   He is the one whose leg was bruised by the rings of chains

176. وَٱلْجِنَازَةِ ٱلْمُنَادَىٰ عَلَيْهَا بِذُلِّ ٱلِٱسْتِخْفَافِ\
   *waljanazati almunada \`alayha bidhulli alistikhfafi*\
   and whose funeral was called with calls of humility of belittling.

177. وَٱلْوَارِدِ عَلَىٰ جَدِّهِ ٱلْمُصْطَفَىٰ وَابِيهِ ٱلْمُرْتَضَىٰ\
   *walwaridi \`ala jaddihi almustafa wa abihi almurtada*\
   He is the one who joined his grandfather the Chosen Prophet, his father the Well-pleased leader,

178. وَامِّهِ سَيِّدَةِ ٱلنِّسَاءِ\
   *wa ummihi sayyidati alnnsa'i*\
   and his mother the doyenne of women

179. بِإِرْثٍ مَغْصُوبٍ\
   *bi'irthin maghsubin*\
   with usurped inheritance,

180. وَوَلاَءٍ مَسْلُوبٍ\
   *wa wala'in maslubin*\
   robbed loyalty,

181. وَامْرٍ مَغْلُوبٍ\
   *wa amrin maghlubin*\
   overpowered state,

182. وَدَمٍ مَطْلُوبٍ\
   *wa damin matlubin*\
   unavenged blood,

183. وَسَمٍّ مَشْرُوبٍ\
   *wa sammin mashrubin*\
   and poisoned drink.

184. اَللَّهُمَّ وَكَمَا صَبَرَ عَلَىٰ غَلِيظِ ٱلِْمحَنِ\
   *allahumma wa kama sabara \`ala ghalizi almihani*\
   O Allah, just as he suffered hard-hitting ordeals tolerantly,

185. وَتَجَرَّعَ غُصَصَ ٱلْكُرَبِ\
   *wa tajarra\`a ghusasa alkurabi*\
   swallowed chokes of agonies,

186. وَٱسْتَسْلَمَ لِرِضَاكَ\
   *wastaslama liridaka*\
   surrendered to Your pleasure,

187. وَاخْلَصَ ٱلطَّاعَةَ لَكَ\
   *wa akhlasa altta\`ata laka*\
   obeyed You sincerely,

188. وَمَحَضَ ٱلْخُشُوعَ\
   *wa mahada alkhushu\`a*\
   adopted reverence for You,

189. وَٱسْتَشْعَرَ ٱلْخُضُوعَ\
   *wastash\`ara alkhudu\`a*\
   adapted himself with submission to You,

190. وَعَادَىٰ ٱلْبِدْعَةَ وَاهْلَهَا\
   *wa \`ada albid\`ata wa ahlaha*\
   stood against heresies and their bearers,

191. وَلَمْ يَلْحَقْهُ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ اوَامِرِكَ وَنَوَاهِيكَ لَوْمَةُ لاَئِمٍ\
   *wa lam yalhaqhu fi shay'in min awamirika wa nawahika lawmatu la'imin*\
   and did not care for the blame of any blamer in the course of following Your orders and refraining from Your prohibitions;

192. صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ صَلاَةً نَامِيَةً\
   *salli \`alayhi salatan namiyatan*\
   so, (please) bless him with ever-increasing,

193. مُنْيفَةً زَاكِيَةً\
   *munifatan zakiyatan*\
   towering, and purifying blessings

194. تُوجِبُ لَهُ بِهَا شَفَاعَةَ أُمَمٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ\
   *Tūjibu lahu bihā shafāʿata umamin min khalqik*\
   By it, You grant him the intercession for nations among Your creation

195. وَقُرُونٍ مِنْ بَرَايَاكَ\
   *Wa qurūnin min barāyāk*\
   And generations among Your creatures

196. وَبَلِّغْهُ عَنَّا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلاَماً\
   *wa ballighhu \`anna tahiyyatan wa salaman*\
   And convey to him greetings and salutation from us,

197. وَآتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ فِي مُوَالاَتِهِ فَضْلاًَ وَإِِحْسَاناً\
   *wa atina min ladunka fi muwalatihi fadlan wa ihsanan*\
   give us from You on account of our loyalty to him favors, bounty,

198. وَمَغْفِرَةً وَرِضْوَاناً\
   *wa maghfiratan wa ridwanan*\
   forgiveness, and pleasure.

199. إِِنَّكَ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَمِيمِ\
   *innaka dhulfadli al\`amimi*\
   Truly, You are the Lord of prevalent favor

200. وَٱلتَّجَاوُزِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ\
   *walttajawuzi al\`azimi*\
   and great exoneration,

201. بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمينَ\
   *birahmatika ya arhama alrrahimina*\
   in the name of Your mercy; O most merciful of all those who show mercy.

202. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَىٰ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala \`aliyyi bni musa*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Ali the son of Musa

203. ٱلَّذِي ٱرْتَضَيْتَهُ وَرَضَّيْتَ بِهِ مَنْ شِئْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ\
   *alladhi irtadaytahu wa raddayta bihi man shi'ta min khalqika*\
   whom You have accepted and through whom You have satisfied whomever of Your creatures that You wish.

204. اَللَّهُمَّ وَكَمَا جَعَلْتَهُ حُجَّةً عَلَىٰ خَلْقِكَ\
   *allahumma wa kama ja\`altahu hujjatan \`ala khalqika*\
   O Allah, as You have made him act as argument against Your creatures,

205. وَقَائِماً بِأَمْرِكَ\
   *wa qa'iman bi'amrika*\
   undertake the mission by Your command,

206. وَنَاصِراً لِدِينِكَ\
   *wa nasiran lidinika*\
   support Your religion,

207. وَشَاهِداً عَلَىٰ عِبَادِكَ\
   *wa shahidan \`ala \`ibadika*\
   witness against Your servants,

208. وَكَمَا نَصَحَ لَهُمْ فِي ٱلسِّرِ وَٱلْعَلاَنِيَةِ\
   *wa kama nasaha lahum fi alssirri wal\`alaniyati*\
   and as he acted sincerely towards them in secret and in open

209. وَدَعَا إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِكَ\
   *wa da\`a ila sabilika*\
   and called to Your way

210. بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ\
   *bilhikmati walmaw\`izati alhasanati*\
   with wisdom and excellent exhortation,

211. فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ\
   *fasalli \`alayhi*\
   so also (please) bless him

212. أَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ\
   *afdala ma sallayta \`ala ahadin*\
   with the most favorite blessings that You have ever bestowed

213. مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ\
   *min awliya'ika wa khiyaratika min khalqika*\
   upon any of Your intimate servants and Your choice ones over Your creatures.

214. إِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِيمٌ\
   *innaka jawadun karimun*\
   Truly, You are All-magnanimous, All-generous.

215. اللَّهُ اكْبَرُ ٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ\
   *allahu akbaru allahu akbaru*\
   Allah is the Most Great. Allah is the Most Great.

216. لاََ إِِلٰهَ إِِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ\
   *la ilaha illa allahu wallahu akbaru*\
   There is no god save Allah. And Allah is the Most Great.

217. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَىٰ هِدَايَتِهِ لِدِينِهِ\
   *alhamdu lillahi \`ala hidayatihi lidinihi*\
   All praise be to Allah for guiding \[me\] to His religion

218. وَٱلتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا دَعَا إِِلَيْهِ مِنْ سَبِيلِهِ\
   *walttawfiqi lima da\`a ilayhi min sabilihi*\
   and for leading \[me\] successfully to His Course to which He has invited (us).

219. اَللَّهُمَّ إِِنَّكَ اكْرَمُ مَقْصُودٍ\
   *allahumma innaka akramu maqsudin*\
   O Allah, You are truly the most Honorable Besought One

220. وَاكْرَمُ مَاتِيٍّ\
   *wa akramu ma'tiyyin*\
   and the most Honorable Purposed One.

221. وَقَدْ اتَيْتُكَ مُتَقَرِّباً إِِلَيْكَ\
   *wa qad ataytuka mutaqarriban ilayka*\
   I thus have come to You, seeking nearness to You

222. بِٱبْنِ بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ\
   *bibni binti nabiyyika*\
   in the name of the son of Your Prophet’s daughter,

223. صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ آبَائِهِ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ\
   *salawatuka \`alayhi wa \`ala aba'ihi alttahirina*\
   Your blessings be upon him and upon his immaculate fathers

224. وَابْنَائِهِ ٱلطَّيِّبِيـنَ\
   *wa abna'ihi alttayyibina*\
   and pure sons.

225. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

226. وَلاَ تُخَيِّبْ سَعْيِي\
   *wa la tukhayyib sa\`yi*\
   never frustrate my efforts,

227. وَلاَ تَقْطَعْ رَجَائِي\
   *wa la taqta\` raja'i*\
   never cut off my hope,

228. وَٱجْعَلْنِي عِنْدَكَ وَجِيهاً\
   *waj\`alni \`indaka wajihan*\
   make me illustrious in Your view

229. فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِيـنَ\
   *fi alddunya wal-akhirati wa min almuqarrabina*\
   in this world as well as the world to come, and make me of those brought near to You.

230. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِٱللَّهِ\
   *bismi allahi wa billahi*\
   In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I trust),

231. وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa fi sabili allahi*\
   and on the way of Allah

232. وَعَلَىٰ مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa \`ala millati rasuli allahi*\
   and on the norm of the Messenger of Allah (I proceed),

233. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   may Allah bless him and his Household.

234. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ\
   *allahumma ighfir li wa liwalidayya*\
   O Allah, (please do) forgive me, my parents,

235. وَلِجَمِيعِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِيـنَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ\
   *wa lijami\`i almu'minina walmu'minati*\
   and all the believing men and women.

236. اادْخُلُ يَا رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *a'adkhulu ya rasula allahi*\
   O Allah’s Messenger, may I enter?

237. اادْخُلُ يَا نَبِيَّ ٱللَّهِ\
   *a'adkhulu ya nabiyya allahi*\
   O Allah’ Prophet, may I enter?

238. اادْخُلُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *a'adkhulu ya muhammadu bna \`abdillahi*\
   O Muhammad the son of \`Abdullah, may I enter?

239. اادْخُلُ يَا امِيرَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *a'adkhulu ya amira almu'minina*\
   O Commander of the Faithful, may I enter?

240. اادْخُلُ يَا ابَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْحَسَنُ\
   *a'adkhulu ya aba muhammadin alhasanu*\
   O Abu-Muhammad al-Hasan, may I enter?

241. اادْخُلُ يَا ابَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْحُسَيْنُ\
   *a'adkhulu ya aba \`abdillahi alhusaynu*\
   O Abu-\`Abdullah al-Husayn, may I enter?

242. اادْخُلُ يَا ابَا مُحَمَّدٍ عَلِيُّ بْنَ ٱلْحُسَيْنِ\
   *a'adkhulu ya aba muhammadin \`aliyyu bna alhusayni*\
   O Abu-Muhammad Ali ibn al-Husayn, may I enter?

243. اادْخُلُ يَا ابَا جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ\
   *a'adkhulu ya aba ja\`farin muhammadu abna \`aliyyin*\
   O Abu-Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ali, may I enter?

244. اادْخُلُ يَا ابَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ جَعْفَرُ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *a'adkhulu ya aba \`abdillahi ja\`faru bna muhammadin*\
   O Abu-\`Abdullah Ja'far ibn Muhammad, may I enter?

245. اادْخُلُ يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا ابَا ٱلْحَسَنِ مُوسَىٰ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ\
   *a'adkhulu ya mawlaya ya aba alhasani musa bna ja\`farin*\
   O my master Abu’l-Hasan Musa ibn Ja'far, may I enter?

246. اادْخُلُ يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا ابَا جَعْفَرٍ\
   *a'adkhulu ya mawlaya ya aba ja\`farin*\
   O my master Abu-Ja'far, may I enter?

247. اادْخُلُ يَا مَوْلاَيَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ\
   *a'adkhulu ya mawlaya muhammadu abna \`aliyyin*\
   O my master Muhammad ibn Ali, may I enter?

248. اَللَّهُ اكْبَرُ\
   *allahu akbar*\
   Allah is the Most Great.

249. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا وَلِيَّيِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykuma ya waliyyay allahi*\
   Peace be upon both of you, O Allah’s most intimate servants.

250. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا حُجَّتَيِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykuma ya hujjatay allahi*\
   Peace be upon both of you, O Allah’s arguments.

251. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا نُورَيِ ٱللَّهِ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ ٱلارْضِ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykuma ya nuray allahi fi zulumati al-ardi*\
   Peace be upon both of you, O Allah’s lights in the darkness of the earth.

252. اشْهَدُ انَّكُمَا قَدْ بَلَّغْتُمَا عَنِ ٱللَّهِ مَا حَمَّلَكُمَا\
   *ashhadu annakuma qad ballaghtuma \`an allahi ma hammalakuma*\
   I bear witness that you both conveyed faithfully that which Allah ordered You to convey,

253. وَحَفِظْتُمَا مَا ٱسْتُودِعْتُمَا\
   *wa hafiztuma ma istudi\`tuma*\
   safeguarded that which He entrusted with you,

254. وَحَلَّلْتُمَا حَلاَلَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa hallaltuma halala allahi*\
   decided as lawful all that which Allah has deemed lawful,

255. وَحَرَّمْتُمَا حَرَامَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa harramtuma harama allahi*\
   decided as unlawful all that which Allah has deemed unlawful,

256. وَاقَمْتُمَا حُدُودَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa aqamtuma hududa allahi*\
   carried out the decrees of Allah,

257. وَتَلَوْتُمَا كِتَابَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa talawtuma kitaba allahi*\
   recited the Book of Allah,

258. وَصَبَرْتُمَا عَلَىٰ ٱلاذَىٰ فِي جَنْبِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa sabartuma \`ala al-adha fi janbi allahi*\
   endured harm for the sake of Allah,

259. مُحْتَسِبَيْنِ حَتَّىٰ اتَاكُمَا ٱلْيَقِينُ\
   *muhtasibayni hatta atakuma alyaqinu*\
   expecting His reward, until death came upon you.

260. ابْرَا إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ اعْدَائِكُمَا\
   *abra'u ila allahi min a\`da'ikuma*\
   I repudiate your enemies in the presence of Allah

261. وَاتَقَرَّبُ إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ بِوِلاَيَتِكُمَا\
   *wa ataqarrabu ila allahi biwilayatikuma*\
   and I seek nearness to Allah through declaring loyalty to you both.

262. اتَيْتُكُمَا زَائِراً\
   *ataytukuma za'iran*\
   I have come to you both, visiting you,

263. عَارِفاً بِحَقِّكُمَا\
   *\`arifan bihaqqikuma*\
   recognizing your rights,

264. مُوَالِياً لاِوْلِيَائِكُمَا\
   *miwaliyan li'awliya'ikuma*\
   declaring loyalty to your loyalists,

265. مُعَادِياً لاِعْدَائِكُمَا\
   *mu\`adiyan li'a\`da'ikuma*\
   showing enmity toward your enemies,

266. مُسْتَبْصِراً بِٱلْهُدَىٰ ٱلَّذِي انْتُمَا عَلَيْهِ\
   *mustabsiran bilhuda alladhi antuma \`alayhi*\
   acknowledging the true guidance that you both follow,

267. عَارِفاً بِضَلاَلَةِ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمَا\
   *\`arifan bidalalati man khalafakuma*\
   and understanding the deviation (from the right path) of any one who disagrees with you.

268. فَٱشْفَعَا لِي عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمَا\
   *fashfa\`a li \`inda rabbikuma*\
   So, (please) intercede for me with your Lord,

269. فَإِنَّ لَكُمَا عِنْدَ ٱللَّهِ جَاهاً عَظِيماً\
   *fa'inna lakuma \`inda allahi jahan \`aziman*\
   for you both enjoy with Allah a great standing

270. وَمَقَاماً مَحْمُوداً\
   *wa maqaman mahmudan*\
   and a praiseworthy position.

271. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا حُجَّتَيِ ٱللَّهِ فِي ارْضِهِ وَسَمَائِهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykuma ya hujjatay allahi fi ardihi wa sama'ihi*\
   Peace be upon both of you, O Allah’s arguments in His land and in His heavens.

272. عَبْدُكُمَا وَوَلِيُّكُمَا زَائِرُكُمَا\
   *\`abdukuma wa waliyyukuma za'irukuma*\
   I—your servant and loyalist—have visited you both,

273. مُتَقَرِّباً إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ بِزِيَارَتِكُمَا\
   *mutaqarriban ila allahi biziyaratikuma*\
   seeking nearness to Allah through my visit to you both.

274. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ لِي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي اوْلِيَائِكَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ\
   *allahumma ij\`al li lisana sidqin fi awliya'ika almustafayna*\
   O Allah, (please) ordain for me a goodly mention among your well-chosen, intimate servants,

275. وَحَبِّبْ إِِلَيَّ مَشَاهِدَهُمْ\
   *wa habbib ilayya mashahidahum*\
   endear to me their shrines,

276. وَٱجْعَلْنِي مَعَهُمْ فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ\
   *waj\`alni ma\`ahum fi alddunya wal-akhirati*\
   and include me with them in this world and in the Hereafter,

277. يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ\
   *ya arhama alrrahimina*\
   O most merciful of all those who show mercy.

278. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waliyya allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s most intimate servant.

279. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya hujjata allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s argument.

280. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ ٱلارْضِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya nura allahi fi zulumati al-ardi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Allah’s light in the darkness of the earth.

281. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ بَدَا لِلَّهِ فِي شَانِهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya man bada lillahi fi sha'nihi*\
   Peace be upon you, O he whom Allah has re-decided about his affair.

282. اتَيْتُكَ زَائِراً\
   *ataytuka za'iran*\
   I have come to you, visiting you,

283. عَارِفاً بِحَقِّكَ\
   *\`arifan bihaqqika*\
   recognizing your right,

284. مُعَادِياً لاِعْدَائِكَ\
   *mu\`adiyan lia\`da'ika*\
   showing enmity toward your enemies,

285. مُوَالِياً لاِوْلِيَائِكَ\
   *muwaliyan li'awliya'ika*\
   and declaring loyalty to your loyalists.

286. فَٱشْفَعْ لِي عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ\
   *fashfa\` li \`inda rabbika ya mawlaya*\
   So, (please) intercede for me with your Lord, O my master.

287. مِنكَ صَلاحُ مَا آمُلُ فِي نَفْسِي وَأَهْلِي\
   *Minka ṣalāḥu mā āmulu fī nafsī wa ahli*\
   From You is the good I hope for in myself and my family.

288. وَوَلَدِي وَإِخْوَانِي وَمَالِي وَجَمِيعِ مَا أَنْعَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَيَّ\
   *Wa waladī wa ikhwanī wa mālī wa jamī‘i mā an‘amta bihī ‘alayya*\
   And my children, brothers, wealth, and all that You have bestowed upon me.

289. يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   *Yā arḥama r-rāḥimīn*\
   O Most Merciful of the Merciful.

290. السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمَا يَا وَلِيَّيِ اللَّهِ\
   *as-salāmu ‘alaykuma yā walīyyay Allāh*\
   Peace be upon you, O friends of Allah.

291. أَسْتَوْدِعُكُمَا اللَّهَ وَأَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكُمَا السَّلَامَ\
   *astawdi‘ukumā Allāh wa aqra’u ‘alaykuma as-salām*\
   I entrust you to Allah and pass peace upon you.

292. آمِنًا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالرَّسُولِ وَمَا جَاءَ بِهِ وَدَلَّ عَلَيْهِ\
   *āminan bi-llāh wa bi-r-rasūl wa mā jā’a bih wa dalla ‘alayh*\
   Secure in faith in Allah, the Prophet, and what he brought and pointed to.

293. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ لَهُمَا بِحَقِّكَ تَعَالَى\
   *Allāhumma ij‘alnī mina sh-shāhidīn lahumā bi-ḥaqqika ta‘ālā*\
   O Allah, make me among witnesses for them by Your right.

294. وَارْزُقْنِي الْعَوْدَ إِلَيْهِمَا آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّي زِيَارَتُهُمَا\
   *wa rzqnī l-‘awda ilayhimā ākhira l-‘ahdi minnī ziyāratuhumā*\
   Grant me to return to visit them as my last covenant.

295. وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمَرْحُومِينَ بِلِقَائِهِمَا\
   *wa ij‘alnī mina l-marḥūmīn biliqā’ihimā*\
   And make me of those who are granted mercy in meeting them.

296. وَاحْشُرْنِي مَعَهُمَا فِي الزُّمْرَةِ الطَّاهِرَةِ\
   *wa’ḥshurnī ma‘ahumā fī z-zumrati ṭ-ṭāhirah*\
   And gather me with them in the pure group.

297. وَلِقَاءِ النَّبِيِّ وَآلِهِ وَظِلَّيهِمَا ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الرَّحْمَةِ\
   *wa liqā’i n-nabīyi wa ālihi wa ẓillayhimā dhurriyyatihimā ilā yawm ir-raḥmah*\
   And the meeting of the Prophet and his family and their offspring till the Day of Mercy.

298. يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   *yā arḥama r-rāḥimīn*\
   O Most Merciful of the Merciful.

299. اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّي لِزِيَارَتِهِمَا\
   *Allāhumma lā taj‘alhu ākhira l-‘ahdi minnī lizyāratihimā*\
   O Allah, do not make this my last covenant to visit them.

300. وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمَحْرُومِينَ مِنْ شَفَاعَتِهِمَا\
   *wa lā taj‘alnī mina l-maḥrūmīn min shafā‘atihimā*\
   Nor make me among those deprived of their intercession.

301. وَلَا تُخْلِنِي مِنْ صِيَانَتِهِمَا وَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِي عَدُوًّا\
   *wa lā tukhlinī min ṣiyānatihimā wa lā tushmit bī ‘adūwan*\
   Nor abandon me concerning their protection, nor let enemies mock me.

302. وَلَا تَجْعَلْ لِي فِي مَوْقِفِ الْقِيَامَةِ نَصِيبًا مِنَ النَّارِ\
   *wa lā taj‘al lī fī mawqifi l-qiyāmah naṣīban min an-nār*\
   And do not assign me a share of the fire on the Day of Judgment.

303. وَلَا تُحْدِثْ نَفْسِي بِخِلَافِ الَّذِي أَحْبَبْتَ\
   *wa lā tuḥdith nafsī bikhilāfi l-ladhī aḥbabta*\
   And do not make my soul contrary to what You love.

304. وَلَا تُخْرِجْنِي مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا عَلَى وِلَايَتِهِمَا وَالاعْتِقَادِ\
   *wa lā tukhrijnī mina d-dunyā illā ‘alā wilāyatihimā wal-i‘tiqād*\
   And do not let me leave this world except on their guardianship and faith.

305. بِحَقِّهِمَا وَزِدْنِي مَعْرِفَةً بِفَضْلِهِمَا\
   *bi-ḥaqqihimā wa zidnī ma‘rifatan bifadlihīmā*\
   In their right and increase me in knowledge of their virtue.

306. وَوَفِّقْنِي لِطَاعَتِهِمَا وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَّبِعِينَ\
   *wa waffiqnī liṭā‘atihimā wa ij‘alnī mina l-muttabi‘īn*\
   And grant me success in obeying them and make me among their followers.

307. وَجَنِّبْنِي مَعْصِيَتَهُمَا وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقِيَامَةِ أَمِينًا\
   *wa jannibnī ma‘ṣīatahumā wa ij‘alnī fī l-qiyāmah amīnan*\
   And keep me away from disobeying them, and make me safe on the Day of Judgment.

308. عَلَى حَوْضِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ الْطَّاهِرِينَ\
   *‘alā ḥawḍi Muḥammad ṣallā llāhu ‘alayhi wa ālihi ṭ-ṭāhirīn*\
   At the basin of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure family.

309. مِنَ الْمُتَوَلِّينَ لَهُمَا وَمِنَ الْمُسَلِّمِينَ لَهُمَا\
   *mina l-mutawallīn lahumā wa mina l-musallimīn lahumā*\
   Among those who are devoted to and submit to them.

310. وَسَلِّمْ لِي إِيمَانِي وَدِينِي وَتَوْفِيقِي\
   *wa sallim lī īmānī wa dīnī wa tawfīqī*\
   And grant me steadfastness in my faith, religion, and success.

311. وَثَبِّتْنِي عَلَى طَاعَتِهِمَا وَمَحَبَّةِ أَوْلِيَائِهِمَا\
   *wa thabbitnī ‘alā ṭā‘atihimā wa maḥabbat awliyā’ihimā*\
   And make me firm in obeying them and loving their friends.

312. وَلَا تُبَاعِدْنِي مِنَ الزِّيَارَةِ\
   *wa lā tubā‘idnī mina z-ziyārah*\
   And do not make me distant from visitation.

313. وَدُمْ بِذِكْرِكَ وَمَحَبَّتِهِمَا وَالصَّلَوَاتِ عَلَيْهِمَا\
   *wa dum bi dhikrika wa maḥabbatihimā waṣ-ṣalawāt ‘alayhimā*\
   And keep me constant in remembering You, loving them, and sending blessings upon them.

314. وَأَجِرْنِي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ بِالفَوْزِ وَالتَّقْوَى\
   *wa ajirnī fī d-dunyā wal-ākhirah bil-fawz wat-taqwā*\
   And reward me in this world and the hereafter with success and piety.

315. وَالرِّزْقِ وَالْبَرَكَةِ وَالْكَرَامَةِ\
   *wa r-rizq wal-barakah wal-karāmah*\
   And provision, blessing, and honor.

316. النُّورِ وَالإيمَانِ وَحُسْنِ الإِجَابَةِ\
   *an-nūr wa al-īmān wa ḥusn al-ijābah*\
   The light, faith, and the good answering.

317. كَأَوْسِبْتِ لِلأَلْبَابِ لِمَعَارِفِهِمْ\
   *ka-awsibti lil-albāb lima‘ārifihim*\
   As the means for understanding their knowledge.

318. بَعْضُهُمُ الْمُوجِبِينَ طَاعَتَهُمْ\
   *ba‘ḍuhumu l-mūjibīn ṭā‘atahum*\
   Some of them who cause obedience.

319. وَالرَّاغِبِينَ فِي رَاحَتِهِمْ\
   *wa r-rāghibīn fī rāḥatihim*\
   And those desiring their comfort.

320. الْمُتَقَرِّبِينَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَيْهِمْ\
   *al-mutaqarribīn ilayka wa ilayhim*\
   Those close to You and to them.

321. يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ فِي نَفْسِي وَمَالِي وَأَهْلِي\
   *yā ayyuhā n-nabī fī nafsī wa mālī wa ahli*\
   O Prophet, in myself, my wealth, and my family.

322. الْقُرْبَاءِ وَإِلَهُهُمْ\
   *al-qurbā’ wa ilahuhum*\
   The relatives and their God.

323. بنيَّتِهِمْ وَذَوِيهِمْ وَشَفِّعْهُمْ\
   *biniyyatihim wa dhawīhim wa shaffi‘hum*\
   By their intention and those close to them, intercede for them.

324. بِنُورِكُمْ وَقِسْمِكُمْ\
   *bi-nūrukum wa qismikum*\
   By Your light and Your portion.

325. وَصَبْرِي وَرُجُوعِي وَحُبِّي وَأَمَلِي\
   *wa ṣabrī wa rujū‘ī wa ḥubbī wa amalī*\
   And my patience, return, love, and hope.

326. وَارْحَمْنِي فِي شَفَاعَتِهِمْ\
   *wa arḥamnī fī shafā’atihim*\
   And have mercy on me in their intercession.

327. وَأَدْخِلْنِي فِي جَمَاعَتِهِمْ\
   *wa adkhilnī fī jamā‘atihim*\
   And admit me among their group.

328. وَأَبْلِغْنِي آمَالَهُمْ\
   *wa ablaghnī āmalahum*\
   And fulfill their hopes through me.

329. وَاسْعِدْهُمْ حَتَّى أَحْيَيْتَ مَحَبَّتَهُمْ\
   *wa as‘idhum ḥattā aḥyayta maḥabbatahum*\
   And bless them until You revive their love.

330. وَسَلَامًا وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa salāman was-salāmu ‘alaykum wa raḥmatullāh wa barakātuh*\
   And peace. Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.
