2. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الفَاحِصُ عَنْ دِينِ اللَّهِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one who denotes the religion of Allah! 3. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا المُبَيِّنُ لِحُكْمِ اللَّهِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one who demonstrates the laws of Allah! 4. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا القَائِمُ بِقسْطِ اللَّهِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one who maintains the justice of Allah! 5. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّاصِحُ لِعبَادِ اللَّهِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one who sincerely advises the servants of Allah! 6. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الدَّاعِي إِلَى اللَّهِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one who calls to Allah! 7. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الدَّلِيلُ إِلَى اللَّهِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one who guides to Allah! 8. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الفَضْلُ المُبِينُ.\ Peace be upon you; O evident grace! 9. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النُّورُ السَّاطِعُ.\ Peace be upon you; O glaring light! 10. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا البَدْرُ اللامِعُ.\ Peace be upon you; O brilliant full moon! 11. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الحَقُّ الأَبْلَجُ.\ Peace be upon you; O palpable truth! 12. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا السِّراجُ الأَسْرَجُ.\ Peace be upon you; O shining lantern! 13. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّجْمُ الأَزْهَرُ.\ Peace be upon you; O luminous star! 14. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الكَوْكَبُ الأَبْهَرُ.\ Peace be upon you; O dazzling celestial body! 15. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا المُنَزَّهُ عَنِ المُعْضِلاتِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one protected ! 16. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا المَعْصُومُ مِنَ الَزَّلاتِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one protected against slips! 17. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الزَّكِيُّ في الحَسَبِ .\ Peace be upon you; O one of immaculate lineage! 18. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الرَّفِيعُ في النَّسَبِ.\ Peace be upon you; O one of lofty roots! 19. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الإِمَامُ الشَّفِيقُ.\ Peace be upon you; O benevolent Imam 20. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا القَصْرُ المَشِيدُ.\ Peace be upon you O fortress? 21. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلَى الخَلْقِ أَجْمَعِينَ.\ Peace be upon you; O Allah's proof against all of His creatures! 22. أَشْهَدُ يَا مَوْلايَ أَنَّكَ قَدْ صَدَعْتَ الحَقَّ صَدْعاً،\ bear witness, O my master, that you indeed, expounded the right openly, 23. وَبَقَرْتَ العِلْمَ بَقْراً ،\ and split the knowledge with thorough splitting, 24. وَنَثَرْتَهُ نَثْراً ،\ and dispersed it scatteredly! 25. لَمْ تَأَخُذْكَ فِي اللَّهِ لَوْمَةُ لائِمٍ،\ In the way of Allah, you were not taken by the blame of any blamer! 26. وَكُنْتَ لِدِينِ اللَّهِ مُكَاتِماً،\ and You established the religion of Allah 27. وَقَضَيْتَ مَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ،\ and fulfilled what had been incumbent upon you, 28. وَأَخْرَجْتَ أَوْلِيَاءَكَ مِنْ وِلايَةِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ إِلى وِلايَةِ اللََّهِ ،\ and took your followers out of the loyalty to other than Allah to the loyalty to Allah, 29. وَأَمَرْتَ بِطَاعَةِ اللَّهِ،\ and you enjoined obedience to Allah, 30. وَنَهَيْتَ عَنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ،\ and you forbade disobedience to Allah, 31. حَتَّى قَبَضَكَ اللَّهُ إلى رِضْوَانِهِ،\ Until He took you to His pleasure 32. وَذَهَبَ بِكَ إِلَى دَارِ كَرَامَتِهِ ،\ and moved you to the abode of His honouring 33. وَإِلَى مَسَاكِنِ أَصْفِيَائِهِ،\ and to the houses of His elite ones 34. وَمُجَاوَرَةِ أَوْلِيَائِهِ.\ and to the vicinity of His intimate servants 35. وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه\ Peace and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you. 36. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِمَامَ الْهُدَىٰ\ *As-salāmu 'alayka yā Imām al-Hudā*\ Peace be upon you, O Leader of Guidance. 37. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَدْرَ الدُّجَىٰ\ *As-salāmu 'alayka yā Badra ad-Dujā*\ Peace be upon you, O Full Moon of Darkness. 38. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا كَهْفَ التُّقَىٰ\ *As-salāmu 'alayka yā Kahfa at-Tuqā*\ Peace be upon you, O Refuge of Piety. 39. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا قَائِدَ أَهْلِ التَّقْوَىٰ\ *As-salāmu 'alayka yā Qā'ida Ahl at-Taqwā*\ Peace be upon you, O Leader of the People of Piety. 40. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَاقِرَ عِلْمِ النَّبِيِّينَ\ *As-salāmu 'alayka yā Bāqira 'Ilm an-Nabiyyīn*\ Peace be upon you, O Discloser of the Knowledge of the Prophets. 41. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا زَيْنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِينَ،\ *As-salāmu 'alayka yā Zayna as-Samāwāti wal-Arḍīn*\ Peace be upon you, O Adornment of the Heavens and the Earths. 42. اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا جَعَلْتَهُ عَلَمًا\ *Allāhumma kamā ja'altahu 'alaman*\ O Allah, just as You made him a beacon, 43. لِعِبَادِكَ وَمُسْتَوْدَعًا لِحِلْمِكَ وَمُتَرْجِمًا\ *li-'ibādika wa mustawda'an li-ḥilmika wa mutarjimā*\ for Your servants, and a repository for Your clemency, and an interpreter 44. لِوَحْيِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ\ *li-waḥyika fa-ṣalli 'alayhi afḍala mā ṣallayta*\ of Your revelation, so send Your blessings upon him the best of what You have blessed 45. عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَأَصْفِيَائِكَ\ *'alā aḥadin min dhurriyyati anbiyā'ika wa aṣfiyā'ika*\ upon any of the progeny of Your prophets, and Your chosen ones, 46. وَرُسُلِكَ وَأُمَنَائِكَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa rusulika wa umanā'ika yā Rabba al-'Ālamīn*\ and Your messengers, and Your trustworthy ones, O Lord of the Worlds. 47. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadi ibni \`aliyyin*\ O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad the son of Ali 48. بَاقِرِ ٱلْعِلْمِ وَإِمَامِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ\ *baqiri al\`ilmi wa imami alhuda*\ the splitter of knowledge, the leader to true guidance, 49. وَقَائِدِ أَهْلِ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ\ *wa qa'idi ahli alttaqwai*\ the chief of the people of piety, 50. وَٱلْمُنْتَجَبِ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ\ *walmuntajabi min \`ibadika*\ and the superbly selected from among Your servants. 51. اَللَّهُمَّ وَكَمَا جَعَلْتَهُ عَلَماً لِعِبَادِكَ\ *allahumma wa kama ja\`altahu \`alaman li\`ibadika*\ O Allah, as You have made him sign for Your servants, 52. وَمَنَاراً لِبِلاَدِكَ\ *wa manaran libiladika*\ lantern in Your lands, 53. وَمُسْتَوْدَعاً لِحِكْمَتِكَ\ *wa mustawda\`an lihikmatika*\ depot of Your wisdom, 54. وَمُتَرْجِماً لِوَحْيِكَ\ *wa mutarjiman liwahyika*\ and interpreter of Your revelations, 55. وَأَمَرْتَ بِطَاعَتِهِ\ *wa amarta bita\`atihi*\ and You ordered (us) to obey him, 56. وَحَذَّرْتَ عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِهِ\ *wa hadhdharta \`an ma\`siyatihi*\ warned (us) against disobeying him; 57. فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ يَا رَبِّ\ *fasalli \`alayhi ya rabbi*\ so also (please), O Lord, send blessings upon him 58. أَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ\ *afdala ma sallayta \`ala ahadin*\ with the most excellent blessings that You have ever sent upon any 59. مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ أَنْبِيَاءِكَ وَأَصْفِيَاءِكَ\ *min dhurriyyati anbiya'ika wa asfiya'ika*\ of the offspring of Your Prophets, Elite Ones, 60. وَرُسُلِكَ وَأُمَنَائِكَ\ *wa rusulika wa umana'ika*\ Messengers, and trustees. 61. يَا رَبَّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *ya rabba al\`alamina*\ O Lord of the worlds!
