1. اللّهُ أَكْبَرُ.\
   *allahu akbar.*\
   Allah is the Greatest.

2. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا آلَ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya ala allahi*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the Household of Allah.

3. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا صَفْوَةَ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya safwata allahi*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the elite of Allah.

4. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا خِيَرَةَ اللّهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya khiyarata allahi min khalqihi*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the best of Allah’s creatures.

5. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا سَادَةَ السَّادَاتِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya sadata alssadati*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the masters of all masters.

6. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا لُيُوثَ الغَابَاتِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya luyutha alghabati*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the lions of jungles.

7. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا سُفُنَ النَّجَاةِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya sufuna alnnajati*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the arks of redemption.

8. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللّهِ الحُسَيْنِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya aba \`abdillahi alhusayni*\
   Peace be upon you; O Abu-\`Abdullah al-Husayn.

9. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عِلْمِ الأَنْبِيَاءِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha \`ilmi alanbya‘i wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you; O the inheritor of the knowledge of the Prophets.

10. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ آدَمَ صَفْوَةِ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha adama safwati allahi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the inheritor of Adam, the elite of Allah.

11. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ نُوحٍ نَبِيِّ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha nuhin nabiyy allahi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the inheritor of Noah, the Prophet of Allah.

12. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha ibrahima khalili allahi*\
   Peace be upon you; O Abraham, the intimate friend of Allah.

13. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ذَبِيحِ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha isma\`ila dhabihi allahi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the inheritor of Ishmael, the slaughtered by Allah’s order.

14. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُوسَى كَلِيمِ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha musa kalimi allahi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the inheritor of Moses, the spoken by Allah.

15. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عِيسَى رُوحِ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha \`isa ruhi allahi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the inheritor of Jesus, the spirit from Allah.

16. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَبِيبِ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waritha muhammadin habibi allahi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the inheritor of Muhammad, the dearly beloved by Allah.

17. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ المُصْطَفَى،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna muhammadin almustafa*\
   Peace be upon you; O the son of Muhammad, the Chosen Prophet.

18. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ عَلِيٍّ المُرْتَضَى،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna \`aliyy almurtada*\
   Peace be upon you; O the son of Ali, the Pleased.

19. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna fatimata alzzra‘i*\
   Peace be upon you; O the son of Fatima, the Luminous.

20. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ خَدِيجَةَ الكُبْرَى،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna khadijata alkubra*\
   Peace be upon you; O the son of Khadija, the grand lady.

21. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا شَهِيدُ ابْنَ الشَّهِيدِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya shahidu abna alshshahidi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the martyr and the son of the martyr.

22. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا قَتِيلُ ابْنَ القَتِيلِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya qatilu abna alqatili*\
   Peace be upon you; O the slain and the son of the slain.

23. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللّهِ وَابْنَ وَلِيِّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya waliyy allahi wabna waliyyhi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the saint and the son of the saint.

24. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللّهِ وَابْنَ حُجَّتِهِ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya hujjata allahi wabna hujjatihi \`ala khalqihi*\
   Peace be upon you; O the argument of Allah and the son of His argument against His creatures.

25. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَدْ أَقَمْتَ الصَّلاةَ،\
   *ash-hadu annaka qad aqamta alssalata*\
   I bear witness that you established the prayers,

26. وَآتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ،\
   *wa atayta alzzkata*\
   And you gave the zakat,

27. وَأَمَرْتَ بِالمَعْرُوفِ،\
   *wa amarta bilma\`rufi*\
   And you enjoined the right,

28. وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ،\
   *wa nahayta \`ani almunkari*\
   And you forbade the wrong,

29. وَرُزِئْتَ بِوَالِدَيْكَ،\
   *wa ruziita biwal-idayka*\
   And you were deprived of your parents,

30. وَجَاهَدْتَ عَدُوَّكَ،\
   *wa jahadta \`aduwka*\
   And you strove against your enemies.

31. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ تَسْمَعُ الكَلامَ،\
   *wa ash-hadu annaka tasma\`u alkalama*\
   And I bear witness that you can now hear the speech,

32. وَتَرُدُّ الجَوَابَ،\
   *wa taruddu aljawaba*\
   And you can answer back,

33. وَأَنَّكَ حَبِيبُ اللّهِ وَخَلِيلُهُ وَنَجِيبُهُ\
   *wa annaka habibu allahi wa khaliluhu wa najibuhu*\
   And you are indeed, the beloved of Allah and His intimate friend and selected servant

34. وَصَفِيُّهُ وَابْنُ صَفِيِّهِ،\
   *wa safiyyuhu wabnu safiyyihi*\
   And His elite and the son of His elite.

35. يَا مَوْلايَ وَابْنَ مَوْلايَ\
   *ya mawlaiya wabna mawlaiya*\
   O my master and the son of my master:

36. زُرْتُكَ مُشْتَاقاً\
   *zurtuka mushtaqan*\
   I am visiting you, because of my eagerness to you,

37. فَكُنْ لِي شَفِيعاً إِلَى اللّهِ يَا سَيِّدِي،\
   *fakun li shafi\`an ila allahi ya sayyidi*\
   So, (please) my master: be my interceder before Allah,

38. وَأَسْتَشْفِعُ إِلَى اللّهِ بِجَدِّكَ سَيِّدِ النَّبِيِّينَ،\
   *wa astashfi\`u ila allahi bijaddka sayyidi alnnabiyyina*\
   And I also seek the intercession of your grandfather, the Master of the Prophets, before Allah,

39. وَبِأَبِيكَ سَيِّدِ الوَصِيِّينَ،\
   *wa bi-abika sayyidi alwasiyyina*\
   And I seek the intercession of your father, the Master of the Prophets’ Successors,

40. وَبِأُمِّكَ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ العَالَمِينَ،\
   *wa bi’ummka fatimata sayyidati nisa‘i al\`alamina*\
   And I seek the intercession of your mother, the Doyenne of the women of the worlds.

41. أَلا لَعَنَ اللّهُ قَاتِلِيكَ،\
   *ala la\`ana allahu qatilika*\
   Indeed, may Allah curse those who slew you

42. وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ ظَالِمِيكَ،\
   *wa la\`ana allahu zalimika*\
   And may Allah curse those who wronged you

43. وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ سَالِبِيكَ وَمُبْغِضِيكَ مِنَ الأَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَ،\
   *wa la\`ana allahu salibika wa mubghidika mina al-awwalina wal-akhirina*\
   And may Allah curse those who deprived you (of your right) and those who hated you from the past and the coming generations.

44. وَصَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ.\
   *wa salla allahu \`ala sayyidina muhammadin wa alihi alttayyibina alttahirina*\
   May Allah send blessings upon our master, Muhammad, and upon his Household—the immaculate and pure.

45. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلايَ وَابْنَ مَوْلايَ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya mawlaiya wabna mawlaiya*\
   Peace be upon you; O my master and the son of my master.

46. لَعَنَ اللّهُ قَاتِلِيكَ،\
   *la\`ana allahu qatilika*\
   May Allah curse those who slew you.

47. وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ ظَالِمِيكَ،\
   *wa la\`ana allahu zalimika*\
   And may Allah curse those who wronged you.

48. إِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَى اللّهِ بِزِيَارَتِكُمْ وَبِمَحَبَّتِكُمْ،\
   *inni ataqarrabu ila allahi biziyaratikum wa bimahabbatikum*\
   Indeed, I seek nearness to Allah through my visiting you and showing my love for you (all).

49. وَأَبْرَأُ إِلَى اللّهِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكُمْ،\
   *wa abra’u ila allahi min a\`da’ikum*\
   And I release myself before Allah from your enemies.

50. وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلايَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ.\
   *wa alssalamu \`alayka ya mawlaiya wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you, O my master.

51. السَّلامُ عَلَى الأَرْوَاحِ المُنِيخَةِ بِقَبْرِ أَبِي عَبْدِاللّهِ الحُسَيْنِ،\
   *alssalamu \`ala al-arwahi almunikhati biqabri aby \`abdillahi alhusayni*\
   Peace be upon the souls that are residing near the tomb of Abu-\`Abdullah al-Husayn.

52. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا طَاهِرِينَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya tahirina mina alddanasi*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the purified from filth.

53. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا مَهْدِيُّونَ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya mahdiyyuna*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the well-guided ones.

54. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَبْرَارَ اللّهِ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ya abrara allahi*\
   Peace be upon you (all); O the pious ones to Allah.

55. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَلَى المَلائِكَةِ الحَافِّينَ بِقُبُورِكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ،\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum wa \`ala almala’ikati alhaffina biquburikum ajma\`ina*\
   Peace be upon you and upon the angels surrounding all your graves.

56. جَمَعَنَا اللّهُ وَإِيَّاكُمْ فِي مُسْتَقَرِّ رَحْمَتِهِ\
   *jama\`ana allahu wa ‘iyyakum fi mustaqarri rahmatihi*\
   May Allah gather us with you in the center of His mercy,

57. وَتَحْتَ عَرْشِهِ إِنَّهُ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ،\
   *wa tahta \`arshihi innahu arhamu alrrahimina*\
   And under His Throne. Indeed, He is the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.

58. وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ.\
   *wa alssalamu \`alaykum wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you.

59. سَلامُ اللّهِ وَسَلامُ مَلائِكَتِهِ المُقَرَّبِينَ،\
   *salamu allahi wa salamu mala’ikatihi almuqarrabina*\
   Peace of Allah and Peace of His favorite angels,

60. وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ المُرْسَلِينَ،\
   *wa anbiya’ihi almursalina*\
   His commissioned prophets,

61. وَعِبَادِهِ الصَّالِحِينَ،\
   *wa \`ibadihi alssalihina*\
   His righteous servants,

62. وَجَمِيعِ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ،\
   *wa jami\`i alshshuhada‘i wal-ssiddiqina*\
   all the martyrs, and all the veracious (ones),

63. وَالزَّاكِيَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ فِيمَا تَغْتَدِي وَتَرُوحُ\
   *wal-zzakiyatu alttayyibatu fima taghtady wa taruhu*\
   and also pure, true blessings that come and go,

64. عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ أَمِيرِ المُؤْمِنِينَ،\
   *\`alayka yabna amiri almu´minina*\
   be upon you; son of Amir al-Mu'minin (chief of the faithful ones).

65. أَشْهَدُ لَكَ بِالتَّسْلِيمِ وَالتَّصْدِيقِ وَالوَفَاءِ\
   *ash-hadu laka bilttaslimi wal-ttasdiqi wal-wafa‘i*\
   I testify to you of submission (to the will of Allah), honest acceptance as true, loyalty,

66. وَالنَّصِيحَةِ لِخَلَفِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ المُرْسَلِ،\
   *wal-nnasihati likhalafi alnnabiyyi salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi almursali*\
   and sincerity with regard to the descendant of the commissioned Prophet—peace of Allah be upon him and his Household—

67. وَالسِّبْطِ المُنْتَجَبِ،\
   *wal-ssibti almuntajabi*\
   the chosen grandson (of the Prophet),

68. وَالدَّلِيلِ العَالِمِ،\
   *wal-ddalili al\`alimi*\
   the well knowledgeable guide (to the true religion),

69. وَالوَصِيِّ المُبَلِّغِ،\
   *wal-wasiyyi almuballighi*\
   the conveying successor,

70. وَالمَظْلُومِ المُهْتَضَمِ،\
   *wal-mazlumi almuhtadami*\
   and the wrongfully oppressed one. (Namely, Imam al-Husayn ibn Ali).

71. فَجَزَاكَ اللّهُ عَنْ رَسُولِهِ وَعَنْ أَمِيرِ المُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *fajazaka allahu \`an rasulihi wa \`an amiri almu´minina*\
   So, Allah may reward you on behalf of His Messenger, Amir al-Mu'minin,

72. وَعَنِ الحَسَنِ وَالحُسَيْنِ\
   *wa \`ani alhasani wal-husayni*\
   Al-Hasan and al-Husayn

73. صَلَوَاتُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ\
   *salawatu allahi \`alayhim*\
   peace of Allah be upon them,

74. أَفْضَلَ الجَزَاءِ بِمَا صَبَرْتَ وَاحْتَسَبْتَ وَأَعَنْتَ\
   *afdala aljaza‘i bima sabarta wahtasabta wa a\`anta*\
   With the best reward for your steadfastness, dedication (to the sake of Allah), and support (for the right party).

75. فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ،\
   *fani\`ma \`uqba alddari*\
   Very excellent be the reward of the eternal life.

76. لَعَنَ اللّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَكَ،\
   *la\`ana allahu man qatalaka*\
   Allah’s curse be on him who killed you.

77. وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ مَنْ جَهِلَ حَقَّكَ،\
   *wa la\`ana allahu man jahila haqqaka*\
   And Allah’s curse be on him who omitted your right,

78. وَاسْتَخَفَّ بِحُرْمَتِكَ،\
   *wastakhaffa bihurmatika*\
   And belittled your sanctity.

79. وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ مَنْ حَالَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ مَاءِ الفُرَاتِ،\
   *wa la\`ana allahu man hala baynaka wa bayna ma‘i alfurati*\
   And Allah’s curse be on him who precluded you from having from the water of the River Euphrates.

80. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قُتِلْتَ مَظْلُوماً،\
   *ash-hadu annaka qutilta mazluman*\
   I testify that you were killed wrongfully,

81. وَأَنَّ اللّهَ مُنْجِزٌ لَكُمْ مَا وَعَدَكُمْ،\
   *wa ann allaha munjizun lakum ma wa\`adakum*\
   and that Allah will indeed, fulfill His promise that He made with you.

82. جِئْتُكَ يَابْنَ أَمِيرِ المُؤْمِنِينَ وَافِداً إِلَيْكُمْ\
   *jiituka yabna amiri almu´minina wafidan ilaykum*\
   Son of Amir al-Mu'minin: I have come to you to present myself before you.

83. وَقَلْبِي مُسَلِّمٌ لَكُمْ وَتَابِعٌ،\
   *wa qalby musallimun lakum wa tabi\`un*\
   My heart is submissive to you and is following you.

84. وَأَنَا لَكُمْ تَابِعٌ،\
   *wa ana lakum tabi\`un*\
   And I am your follower.

85. وَنُصْرَتِي لَكُمْ مُعَدَّةٌ\
   *wa nusraty lakum mu\`addatun*\
   I am ready to support you

86. حَتَّى يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الحَاكِمِينَ،\
   *hatta yahkuma allahu wa huwa khayru alhakimina*\
   until Allah decides for me. He is surely the Best of all who decide.

87. فَمَعَكُمْ مَعَكُمْ لا مَعَ عَدُوِّكُمْ،\
   *fama\`akum ma\`akum la ma\`a \`aduwwikum*\
   I am indeed, with you, not with your enemy.

88. إِنِّي بِكُمْ وَبِإِيَابِكُمْ مِنَ المُؤْمِنِينَ،\
   *inni bikum wa bi’yabikum mina almu´minina*\
   I am one of those who believe in you and believe in your Return.

89. وَبِمَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ وَقَتَلَكُمْ مِنَ الكَافِرِينَ،\
   *wa biman khalafakum wa qatalakum mina alkafirina*\
   I also one of those who deny your opposites and killers.

90. قَتَلَ اللّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكُمْ بِالأَيْدِي وَالأَلْسُنِ.\
   *qatala allahu ‘ummatan qatalatkum bil-aydy wal-alsuni*\
   Allah may kill the group who killed you with hands and tongues (by giving orders of killing you.)

91. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا العَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha al\`abdu alssalihu*\
   Peace be upon you; the righteous servant (of Allah),

92. المُطِيعُ لِلّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلأَمِيرِ المُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *almuti\`u lillahi wa lirasulihi wa liamiri almu´minina*\
   the obedient to Allah, His Messenger, Amir al-Mu'minin,

93. وَالحَسَنِ وَالحُسَيْنِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَسَلَّمَ،\
   *wal-hasani wal-husayni salla allahu \`alayhim wa sallama*\
   al-Hasan, and al-Husayn, peace and greetings of Allah be upon them.

94. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Peace, Allah’s mercy, blessings,

95. وَمَغْفِرَتُهُ وَرِضْوَانُهُ وَعَلَى رُوحِكَ وَبَدَنِكَ،\
   *wa maghfiratuhu wa ridwanuhu wa \`ala ruhika wa badanika*\
   forgiveness, and gratifications be upon you, your soul, and your body.

96. أَشْهَدُ وَأُشْهِدُ اللّهَ أَنَّكَ مَضَيْتَ عَلَى مَا مَضَى بِهِ البَدْرِيُّونَ\
   *ash-hadu wa a’ushhidu allaha annaka madayta \`ala ma mada bihi albadriyyuna*\
   I testify, and call Allah to witness, that you abided by the same course that was taken by the warriors of (the battle of) Badr

97. وَالمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ،\
   *wal-mujahiduna fi sabili allahi*\
   and the strivers for Allah’s sake

98. المُنَاصِحُونَ لَهُ فِي جِهَادِ أَعْدَائِهِ،\
   *almunasihuna lahu fi jihadi a\`da’ihi*\
   who faithfully served Him in the battlefields against His enemies,

99. المُبَالِغُونَ فِي نُصْرَةِ أَوْلِيَائِهِ،\
   *almubalighuna fi nusrati awliya’ihi*\
   did their bests for supporting His disciples,

100. الذَّابُّونَ عَنْ أَحِبَّائِهِ،\
   *aldhdhabbuna \`an ahibba’ihi*\
   and defended His intimate ones.

101. فَجَزَاكَ اللّهُ أَفْضَلَ الجَزَاءِ،\
   *fajazaka allahu afdala aljaza‘i*\
   So, Allah may reward you the best,

102. وَأَكْثَرَ الجَزَاءِ،\
   *wa akthara aljaza‘i*\
   the maximum,

103. وَأَوْفَرَ الجَزَاءِ،\
   *wa awfara aljaza‘i*\
   the most abundant,

104. وَأَوْفَى جَزَاءِ أَحَدٍ مِمَّنْ وَفَى بِبَيْعَتِهِ،\
   *wa awfa jaza‘i ahadin mimmn wa fa bibay\`atihi*\
   and the most conclusive reward that He may give to anyone who fulfills his homage,

105. وَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُ دَعْوَتَهُ،\
   *wastajaba lahu da\`watahu*\
   answers the call (of the religion),

106. وَأَطَاعَ وُلاةَ أَمْرِهِ.\
   *wa ata\`a wulata amrihi*\
   and obeys his (divinely elected) leaders.

107. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَدْ بَالَغْتَ فِي النَّصِيحَةِ،\
   *ash-hadu annaka qad balaghta fi alnnasihati*\
   I testify that you served (the Lord) extremely sincerely

108. وَأَعْطَيْتَ غَايَةَ المَجْهُودِ،\
   *wa a\`tayta ghaiyata almajhudi*\
   and exerted all your efforts (in this regard).

109. فَبَعَثَكَ اللّهُ فِي الشُّهَدَاءِ،\
   *faba\`athaka allahu fi alshshuhada‘i*\
   Allah may attach you to the martyrs,

110. وَجَعَلَ رُوحَكَ مَعَ أَرْوَاحِ السُّعَدَاءِ،\
   *wa ja\`ala ruhaka ma\`a arwahi alssu\`ada‘i*\
   add your soul to the souls of the happy ones,

111. وَأَعْطَاكَ مِنْ جِنَانِهِ أَفْسَحَهَا مَنْزِلاً،\
   *wa a\`taka min jinanihi afsahaha manzilan*\
   give you the largest abode in His Paradise

112. وَأَفْضَلَهَا غُرَفاً،\
   *wa afdalaha ghurafan*\
   and the most handsome room,

113. وَرَفَعَ ذِكْرَكَ فِي عِلِّيِّينَ،\
   *wa rafa\`a dhikraka fi \`illiyyina*\
   exalt your mention in \`Illiyyin (the most elevated position),

114. وَحَشَرَكَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ\
   *wa hasharaka ma\`a alnnabiyyina wal-ssiddiqina*\
   join you to the Prophets, the veracious (ones)

115. وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ\
   *wal-shshuhada‘i wal-ssalihina*\
   The martyrs, and the righteous (ones).

116. وَحَسُنَ أُولئِكَ رَفِيقاً.\
   *wa hasuna ‘ula’ika rafiqan*\
   Very excellent is the companionship of such ones.

117. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ لَمْ تَهِنْ وَلَمْ تَنْكُلْ،\
   *ash-hadu annaka lam tahin wa lam tankul*\
   I testify that you did not lag behind and did not turn away the face,

118. وَأَنَّكَ مَضَيْتَ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ مِنْ أَمْرِكَ،\
   *wa annaka madayta \`ala basiratin min amrika*\
   and that you left this life with full awareness of the truth,

119. مُقْتَدِياً بِالصَّالِحِينَ،\
   *muqtadiyan bilssalihina*\
   following the examples of the righteous ones

120. وَمُتَّبِعاً لِلنَّبِيِّينَ،\
   *wa muttbi\`an lilnnbiyyina*\
   and sticking to the Prophets.

121. فَجَمَعَ اللّهُ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ\
   *fajama\`a allahu baynana wa baynaka*\
   So, Allah may gather us with you,

122. وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِهِ وَأَوْلِيَائِهِ\
   *wa bayna rasulihi wa awliya’ihi*\
   His Messenger, and His disciples

123. فِي مَنَازِلِ المُخْبِتِينَ\
   *fi manazili almukhbitina*\
   in the abodes of those who practiced humbly (with their Lord).

124. فَإِنَّهُ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.\
   *fa’innahu arhamu alrrahimina*\
   He is certainly the most Merciful of all the merciful ones.

125. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا العَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ.\
   *alssalamu \`alaykha ayyuha al\`abd alssalihu*\
   Peace be upon you; O the righteous servant (of Allah).

126. اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah: (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

127. وَلا تَدَعْ لِي فِي هذَا المَكَانِ المُكَرَّمِ وَالمَشْهَدِ المُعَظَّمِ ذَنْباً إِلاَّ غَفَرْتَهُ،\
   *wa la tada\` li fi hadha almakani almukarrami wal-mash-hadi almu\`azzami dhanban illa ghafartahu*\
   and do not leave for me, in this honored place and glorified shrine, any sin (that I did) without forgiveness,

128. وَلا هَمّاً إِلاَّ فَرَّجْتَهُ،\
   *wa la hamman illa farrjtahu*\
   any care without relief,

129. وَلا مَرَضاً إِلاَّ شَفَيْتَهُ،\
   *wa la maradan illa shafaytahu*\
   any illness without cure,

130. وَلا عَيْباً إِلاَّ سَتَرْتَهُ،\
   *wa la \`ayban illa satartahu*\
   any defect with covering up,

131. وَلا رِزْقاً إِلاَّ بَسَطْتَهُ،\
   *wa la rizqan illa basattahu*\
   any (source of) sustenance without expansion,

132. وَلا خَوْفاً إِلاَّ آمَنْتَهُ،\
   *wa la khawfan illa amantahu*\
   any item of terror without pacification,

133. وَلا شَمْلاً إِلاَّ جَمَعْتَهُ،\
   *wa la shamlan illa jama\`tahu*\
   any disunity without reunification,

134. وَلا غَائِباً إِلاَّ حَفِظْتَهُ وَأَدْنَيْتَهُ،\
   *wa la gha’iban illa hafiztahu wa adnaytahu*\
   any absent one without guarding and approaching (him to me),

135. وَلا حَاجَةً مِنْ حَوَائِجِ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ\
   *wa la hajatan min hawa’iji alddunya wal-akhirati*\
   and any single need, among the many needs of this life as well as the life to come,

136. لَكَ فِيهَا رِضَىً وَلِيَ فِيهَا صَلاحٌ\
   *laka fiha ridan wa liya fiha salahun*\
   whose settlement achieves your gratification and my good,

137. إِلاَّ قَضَيْتَهَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.\
   *illa qadaytaha ya arhama alrrahimina*\
   without settlement. O He Who is the most Merciful of all the merciful ones.

138. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَاَالفَضْلِ العَبَّاسَ ابْنَ أَمِيرِ المُؤْمِنِينَ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya aba alfadli al\`abbasa ibna amiri almu´minina*\
   Peace be upon you; O Abu’l-Fadl al-Abbas, son of Amir al-Mu'minin.

139. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الوَصِيِّينَ،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna sayyidi alwasiyyina*\
   Peace be upon you, son of the chief of the Successors (of the Prophets.)

140. السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَابْنَ أَوَّل القَوْمِ إِسْلاماً،\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna awwali alqawmi islaman*\
   Peace be upon you, son of the foremost to (the embracement of) Islam,

141. وَأَقْدَمِهِمْ إِيمَاناً،\
   *wa aqdamihim ‘imanan*\
   the first one who believed (in Allah),

142. وَأَقْوَمِهِمْ بِدِينِ اللّهِ،\
   *wa aqwamihim bidini allahi*\
   the best one who served the religion of Allah,

143. وَأَحْوَطِهِمْ عَلَى الإِسْلامِ.\
   *wa ahwatihim \`ala al-islami*\
   and the most careful for Islam.

144. أَشْهَدُ لَقَدْ نَصَحْتَ لِلّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلأَخِيكَ\
   *ash-hadu laqad nasahta lillahi wa lirasulihi wa li-akhika*\
   I testify that you served Allah, His Messenger, and your brother sincerely.

145. فَنِعْمَ الأَخُ المُوَاسِي،\
   *fani\`ma alakhu almuwasi*\
   You were the most excellent consoling brother.

146. فَلَعَنَ اللّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ،\
   *fala\`ana allahu ‘ummatan qatalatka*\
   So, Allah’s curse be on the group who killed you.

147. وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ أُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ،\
   *wa la\`ana allahu ‘ummatan zalamatka*\
   And Allah’s curse be on the group who wronged you.

148. وَلَعَنَ اللّهُ أُمَّةً اسْتَحَلَّتْ مِنْكَ المَحَارِمَ،\
   *wa la\`ana allahu ‘ummatan astahallat minka almaharima*\
   And Allah’s curse be on the group who violated your sanctities

149. وَانْتَهَكَتْ حُرْمَةَ الإِسْلامِ،\
   *wantahakat hurmata al-islami*\
   and infringed the sanctity of Islam.

150. فَنِعْمَ الصَّابِرُ المُجَاهِدُ\
   *fani\`ma alssabiru almujahidu*\
   You were the most excellent steadfast fighter,

151. المُحَامِي النَّاصِرُ\
   *almuhamy alnnasiru*\
   protector, supporter,

152. وَالأَخُ الدَّافِعُ عَنْ أَخِيهِ،\
   *wal-akhu alddafi\`u \`an akhihi*\
   and brother who defended his brother,

153. المُجِيبُ إِلَى طَاعَةِ رَبِّهِ،\
   *almujibu ila ta\`ati rabbhi*\
   responded to the obedience to his Lord,

154. الرَّاغِبُ فِيمَا زَهِدَ فِيهِ غَيْرُهُ مِنَ الثَّوَابِ الجَزِيلِ،\
   *alrraghibu fima zahida fihi ghayruhu mina alththwabi aljazili*\
   and worked desirably for gaining the abundant reward, which others refused,

155. وَالثَّنَاءِ الجَمِيلِ،\
   *wal-ththna‘i aljamili*\
   and the nice tribute.

156. وَأَلْحَقَكَ اللّهُ بِدَرَجَةِ آبَائِكَ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ.\
   *wa alhaqaka allahu bidarajati aba’ika fi jannati alnna\`imi*\
   So, Allah may attach you to the rank of your fathers in the gardens of bliss.

157. اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي تَعَرَّضْتُ لِزِيَارَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ رَغْبَةً فِي ثَوَابِكَ،\
   *allahumma inni ta\`arrdtu liziyarati awliya’ika raghbatan fi thawabika*\
   O Allah, I have done the pilgrimage to Your disciples out of my desire for (winning) your reward

158. وَرَجَاءً لِمَغْفِرَتِكَ وَجَزِيلِ إِحْسَانِكَ،\
   *wa raja‘an limaghfiratika wa jazili ihsanika*\
   and my wish to recognize You and Your abundant benevolence.

159. فَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ،\
   *fas’aluka an tusalliya \`ala muhammadin wa alihi alttahirina*\
   So, I implore to You to send Your blessings to Muhammad and his immaculate Household

160. وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ رِزْقِي بِهِمْ دَارّاً،\
   *wa an taj\`ala rizqy bihim darran*\
   and make my sustenance, by their intercession, flow copiously,

161. وَعَيْشِي بِهِمْ قَارّاً،\
   *wa \`ayshy bihim qarran*\
   my living delightful,

162. وَزِيَارَتِي بِهِمْ مَقْبُولَةً،\
   *wa ziyaraty bihim maqbulatan*\
   my pilgrimage rewardable,

163. وَحَيَاتِي بِهِمْ طَيِّبَةً،\
   *wa hayaty bihim tayyibatan*\
   and my life pleasant.

164. وَأَدْرِجْنِي إِدْرَاجَ المُكْرَمِينَ،\
   *wa adrijny idraja almukramina*\
   And make me take to the conduct of the honored ones

165. وَاجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنْ يَنْقَلِبُ مِنْ زِيَارَةِ مَشَاهِدِ أَحِبَّائِكَ\
   *waj\`alny mimman yanqalibu min ziyarati mashahidi ahibba’ika*\
   and make me one of those who, as returning from the pilgrimage to the tombs of Your beloved ones,

166. مُفْلِحاً مُنْجِحاً\
   *muflihan munjihan*\
   win success and prosperity

167. قَدِ اسْتَوْجَبَ غُفْرَانَ الذُّنُوبِ،\
   *qad istawjaba ghufrana aldhdhunubi*\
   and deserve forgiveness of sins,

168. وَسَتْرَ العُيُوبِ،\
   *wa satra al\`uyubi*\
   covering up of defects,

169. وَكَشْفَ الكُرُوبِ،\
   *wa kashfa alkurubi*\
   and relief of disasters

170. إِنَّكَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ المَغْفِرَةِ.\
   *innaka ahlu alttaqwa wa ahlu almaghfirati*\
   You are surely worthy of being feared and worthy of forgiving.

171. أَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللّهَ وَأَسْتَرْعِيكَ\
   *astawdi\`uka allaha wa astar\`ika*\
   I seek, through you, the guard and custody of Allah

172. وَأَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلامَ،\
   *wa aqra’u \`alayka alssalama*\
   and I say: Peace be to you.

173. آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَبِكِتَابِهِ\
   *amanna billahi wa birasulihi wa bikitabihi*\
   We have believed in Allah and in His Messenger and in His Book

174. وَبِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّهِ،\
   *wa bima ja‘a bihi min \`indi allahi*\
   and in that which he conveyed from Allah.

175. اللّهُمَّ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ،\
   *allahumma faktubna ma\`a alshshahidina*\
   O Allah, record our names with the witnesses.

176. اللّهُمَّ لا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ العَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِي قَبْرَ ابْنِ أَخِي رَسُولِكَ\
   *allahumma la taj\`alhu akhira al\`ahdi min ziyaraty qabra abni akhy rasulika*\
   O Allah, do not decide this pilgrimage to the tomb of the son of Your Messenger’s brother the last one.

177. صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ،\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   Peace be upon him (i.e. the Messenger) and upon his Household.

178. وَارْزُقْنِي زِيَارَتَهُ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي،\
   *warzuqny ziyaratahu abadan ma abqaytani*\
   Grant me opportunities to visit him so long as You keep me alive,

179. وَاحْشُرْنِي مَعَهُ وَمَعَ آبَائِهِ فِي الجِنَانِ،\
   *wahshurny ma\`ahu wa ma\`a aba’ihi fi aljinani*\
   and join me to him and his fathers in the gardens of Paradise,

180. وَعَرِّفْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِكَ وَأَوْلِيَائِكَ.\
   *wa \`arrif bayny wa baynahu wa bayna rasulika wa awliya’ika*\
   and introduce me to him, to Your Messenger, and to Your disciples.

181. اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah, send Your blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

182. وَتَوَفَّنِي عَلَى الإِيمَانِ بِكَ،\
   *wa tawaffany \`ala al’imani bika*\
   and take me to you abiding by the believing in You,

183. وَالتَّصْدِيقِ بِرَسُولِكَ،\
   *wal-ttasdiqi birasulika*\
   giving credence to Your Messenger,

184. وَالوِلايَةِ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَالأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ،\
   *wal-wilayati li\`aliyyi bni aby talibin wal-a’immati min wuldihi*\
   being faithful to Ali ibn Abu Talib and the Imams from his progeny;

185. وَالبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ عَدُوِّهِمْ،\
   *wal-bara‘ati min \`aduwwihim*\
   And disavowing their enemy.

186. فَإِنِّي قَدْ رَضِيتُ يَا رَبِّي بِذلِكَ،\
   *fa’inni qad raditu ya rabby bidhlika*\
   My Lord, I have accepted such.

187. وَصَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ.\
   *wa salla allahu \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   Allah may send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
