1. يَا مَوَالِيَّ يَا ابْنَاءَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *ya mawaliyya ya abna'a rasuli allahi*\
   O my masters, sons of the Messenger of Allah,

2. عَبْدُكُمْ وَٱبْنُ امَتِكُمُ\
   *\`abdukum wabnu amatikum*\
   I—your servant and the son of your maid

3. ٱلذَّليلُ بَيْنَ ايْديكُمْ\
   *aldhdhalilu bayna aydikum*\
   who stand submissively before you,

4. وَٱلْمُضْعِفُ فِي عُلُوِّ قَدْرِكُمْ\
   *walmud\`ifu fi \`uluwwi qadrikum*\
   who is worth nothing in comparison with your elevated esteem,

5. وَٱلْمُعْتَرِفُ بِحَقِّكُمْ\
   *walmu\`tarifu bihaqqikum*\
   and who admits your right (that is incumbent upon us)—

6. جَاءَكُمْ مُسْتَجيراً بِكُمْ\
   *ja'akum mustajiran bikum*\
   have come to you, seeking your shelter,

7. قَاصِداً إِلَىٰ حَرَمِكُمْ\
   *qasidan ila haramikum*\
   heading for your sanctuary,

8. مُتَقَرِّباً إِلَىٰ مَقَامِكُمْ\
   *mutaqarriban ila maqamikum*\
   seeking nearness to Your statuses,

9. مُتَوَسِّلاًَ إِلَىٰ اللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ بِكُمْ\
   *mutawassilan ila allahi ta\`ala bikum*\
   and beseeching Allah in your names.

10. اادْخُلُ يَا مَوَالِيَّ؟\
   *a'adkhulu ya mawaliyya*\
   May I enter, O my masters?

11. اادْخُلُ يَا اوْلِيَاءَ ٱللَّهِ؟\
   *a'adkhulu ya awliya'a allahi*\
   May I enter, O intimate servants of Allah?

12. اادْخُلُ يَا مَلاَئِكَةَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُحْدِقينَ بِهٰذَا ٱلْحَرَمِ\
   *a'adkhulu ya mala'ikata allahi almuhdiqina bihadha alharami*\
   May I enter, O Allah’s angels who surround this sanctuary

13. ٱلْمُقيمينَ بِهٰذَا ٱلْمَشْهَدِ؟\
   *almuqimina bihadha almashhadi*\
   and reside in this shrine?

14. اللَّهُ اكْبَرُ كَبيراً\
   *allahu akbaru kabiran*\
   Allah is greatly the Greatest.

15. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثيراً\
   *walhamdu lillahi kathiran*\
   All praise be to Allah abundantly.

16. وَسُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَاصيلاًَ\
   *wa subhana allahi bukratan wa asilan*\
   Glory be to Allah in morns and eves.

17. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلْفَرْدِ ٱلصَّمَدِ\
   *walhamdu lillahi alfardi alssamadi*\
   All praise be to Allah, the Single, the Absolute,

18. ٱلْمَاجِدِ ٱلاحَدِ\
   *almajidi al-ahadi*\
   the Glorious, the One and Only,

19. ٱلْمُتَفَضِّلِ ٱلْمَنَّانِ\
   *almutafaddili almannani*\
   the All-obliging, the All-benefactor,

20. ٱلْمُتَطَوِّلِ ٱلْحَنَّانِ\
   *almutatawwili alhannani*\
   the Donor, the All-compassionate,

21. ٱلَّذِي مَنَّ بِطَوْلِهِ\
   *alladhi manna bitawlihi*\
   Who conferred (upon us) with His bequests,

22. وَسَهَّلَ زِيَارَةَ سَادَاتِي بِإِحْسَانِهِ\
   *wa sahhala ziyarata sadati bi'ihsanihi*\
   Who has made easy for me to visit my masters out of His beneficence,

23. وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي عَنْ زِيَارَتِهِمْ مَمْنُوعاً\
   *wa lam yaj\`alni \`an ziyaratihim mamnu\`an*\
   Who has not included me with those who are prevented from visiting them;

24. بَلْ تَطَوَّلَ وَمَنَحَ\
   *bal tatawwala wa manaha*\
   rather, He has bestowed upon me and donated me (this favor).

25. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ ائِمَّةَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum a'immata alhuda*\
   Peace be upon you, O Leaders of true guidance.

26. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ اهْلَ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ahla alttaqwa*\
   Peace be upon you, O people of piety.

27. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ ايُّهَا ٱلْحُجَجُ عَلَىٰ اهْلِ ٱلدُّنْيَا\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ayyuha alhujaju \`ala ahli alddunya*\
   Peace be upon you, O Arguments against the inhabitants of this world.

28. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ ايُّهَا ٱلْقُوَّامُ فِي ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ بِٱلْقِسْطِ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ayyuha alquwwamu fi albariyyati bilqisti*\
   Peace be upon you, O maintainers of justice on people.

29. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ اهْلَ ٱلصَّفْوَةِ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ahla alssafwati*\
   Peace be upon you, O choicest people.

30. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ آلَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ala rasuli allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O members of the Household of Allah’s Messenger.

31. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ اهْلَ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum ahla alnnajwa*\
   Peace be upon you, O people of confidential talks (of the angels).

32. اشْهَدُ انَّكُمْ قَدْ بَلَّغْتُمْ وَنَصَحْتُمْ\
   *ashhadu annakum qad ballaghtum wa nasahtum*\
   I bear witness that you did convey, offer advice,

33. وَصَبَرْتُمْ فِي ذَاتِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa sabartum fi dhati allahi*\
   endure for the sake of Allah,

34. وَكُذِّبْتُمْ وَاسيءَ إِلَيْكُمْ فَغَفَرْتُمْ\
   *wa kudhdhibtum wa usi'a ilaykum faghafartum*\
   and forgive when you were belied and maltreated.

35. وَاشْهَدُ انَّكُمُ ٱلائِمَّةُ ٱلرَّاشِدُونَ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ\
   *wa ashhadu annakumu al-a'immatu alrrashiduna almuhtaduna*\
   I also bear witness that you are the orthodox, well-guided Leaders,

36. وَانَّ طَاعَتَكُمْ مَفْرُوضَةٌ\
   *wa anna ta\`atakum mafrudatun*\
   that the obedience to you is obligatory,

37. وَانَّ قَوْلَكُمُ ٱلصِّدْقُ\
   *wa anna qawlakumu alssidqu*\
   that your words are true,

38. وَانَّكُمْ دَعْوَتُمْ فَلَمْ تُجَابُوٱ\
   *wa annakum da\`awtum falam tujabu*\
   that you had called (to Allah) but you were not answered,

39. وَامَرْتُمْ فَلَمْ تُطَاعُوٱ\
   *wa amartum falam tuta\`u*\
   that you had enjoined (the right) but you were not obeyed,

40. وَانَّكُمْ دَعَائِمُ ٱلدِّينِ وَارْكَانُ ٱلارْضِ\
   *wa annakum da\`a'imu alddini wa arkanu al-ardi*\
   and that you are the supports of the religion and the poses of the earth.

41. لَمْ تَزَالُوٱ بِعَيْنِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *lam tazalu bi\`ayni allahi*\
   You were always under the sight of Allah

42. يَنْسَخُكُمْ مِنْ اصْلاَبِ كُلِّ مُطَّهَرٍ\
   *yansakhukum min aslabi kulli mutahharin*\
   Who moved you from the loins of purified men

43. وَيَنْقُلُكُمْ مِنْ ارْحَامِ ٱلْمُطَهَّرَاتِ\
   *wa yanqulukum min arhami almutahharati*\
   to the wombs of purified women.

44. لَمْ تُدَنِّسْكُمُ ٱلْجَاهِلِيَّةُ ٱلْجَهْلاَءُ\
   *lam tudanniskumu aljahiliyyatu aljahla'u*\
   The benighted ignorance could not stain you

45. وَلَمْ تَشْرَكْ فِيكُمْ فِتَنُ ٱلاهْوَاءِ\
   *wa lam tashrak fikum fitanu al-ahwa'i*\
   and the whimsical sedition could not attract you.

46. طِبْتُمْ وَطَابَ مَنْبَتُكُمْ\
   *tibtum wa taba manbatukum*\
   Pleased be you as your origin has been pleased.

47. مَنَّ بِكُمْ عَلَيْنَا دَيَّانُ ٱلدِّينِ\
   *manna bikum \`alayna dayyanu alddini*\
   The King of the religion has conferred upon us with the grace of our acknowledgment of you;

48. فَجَعَلَكُمْ فِي بُيُوتٍ\
   *faja\`alakum fi buyutin*\
   He therefore caused you to be in houses

49. اذِنَ ٱللَّهُ انْ تُرْفَعَ\
   *adhina allahu an turfa\`a*\
   which He (i.e. Allah) has permitted to be exalted

50. وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسْمُهُ\
   *wa yudhkara fiha ismuhu*\
   and that His Name may be mentioned therein,

51. وَجَعَلَ صَلاَتَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ\
   *wa ja\`ala salatana \`alaykum*\
   and He has decided our invocations of blessings upon you

52. رَحْمَةً لَنَا وَكَفَّارَةً لِذُنُوبِنَا\
   *rahmatan lana wa kaffaratan lidhunubina*\
   to be mercy on us and to be granting remission of our sins.

53. إِذِ ٱخْتَارَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ لَنَا\
   *idhi ikhtarakumu allahu lana*\
   Allah has chosen you for us

54. وَطَيَّبَ خَلْقَنَا بِمَا مَنَّ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ وِلاَيَتِكُمْ\
   *wa tayyaba khalqana bima manna \`alayna min wilayatikum*\
   and has purified our creation through the grace of our loyalty to your (Divinely commissioned) Leadership with which He has conferred upon us.

55. وَكُنَّا عِنْدَهُ مُسَمِّينَ بِعِلْمِكُمْ\
   *wa kunna \`indahu musammina bi\`ilmikum*\
   We have thus become nominated with Him due to our acknowledgement of you

56. مُعْتَرِفِينَ بِتَصْدِيقِنَا إِيَّاكُمْ\
   *mu\`tarifina bitasdiqina iyyakum*\
   and our giving credence to you.

57. وَهٰذَا مَقَامُ مَنْ اسْرَفَ وَاخْطَا\
   *wa hadha maqamu man asrafa wa akhta'a*\
   So, this is the situation of him who has committed mistakes and sins,

58. وَٱسْتَكَانَ وَاقَرَّ بِمَا جَنَىٰ\
   *wastakana wa aqarra bima jana*\
   shown submission (to you), and confessed of what he had committed.

59. وَرَجَا بِمَقَامِهِ ٱلْخَلاَصَ\
   *wa raja bimaqamihi alkhalasa*\
   Hence, being in this situation, I hope for redemption

60. وَانْ يَسْتَنْقِذَهُ بِكُمْ مُسْتَنْقِذُ ٱلْهَلْكَىٰ مِنَ ٱلرَّدَىٰ\
   *wa an yastanqidhahu bikum*\
   and I hope that the Savior of the perishing ones from perdition may save me in your names.

61. فَكُونُوٱ لِي شُفَعَاءَ\
   *mustanqidhu alhalka min alrrada*\
   So, (please) be my interceders,

62. فَقَدْ وَفَدْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ\
   *fakunu li shufa\`a'a*\
   for I have come to you

63. إِذْ رَغِبَ عَنْكُمْ اهْلُ ٱلدُّنْيَا\
   *faqad wafadtu ilaykum*\
   when the people of this world abandoned you,

64. وَٱتَّخَذُوٱ آيَاتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُواً\
   *idh raghiba \`ankum ahlu alddunya*\
   took the Signs of Allah for a jest,

65. وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوٱ عَنْهَا\
   *wattakhadhu ayati allahi huzwan*\
   and turned away from them haughtily.

66. يَا مَنْ هُوَ قَائِمٌ لاََ يَسْهُو\
   *ya man huwa qa'imun la yashu*\
   O He Who is Self-Subsisting and never forgets,

67. وَدَائِمٌ لاََ يَلْهُو\
   *wa da'imun la yalhu*\
   Who is Ever-living and never becomes heedless,

68. وَمُحيطٌ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ\
   *wa muhitun bikulli shay'in*\
   and Who encompasses all things!

69. لَكَ ٱلْمَنُّ بِمَا وَفَّقْتَنِي\
   *laka almannu bima waffaqtani*\
   To You is all gratitude for that You have guided me (to this)

70. وَعَرَّفْتَنِي بِمَا اقَمْتَنِي عَلَيْهِ\
   *wa \`arraftani bima aqamtani \`alayhi*\
   and You have introduced to me that on which I rest,

71. إِذْ صَدَّ عَنْهُ عِبَادُكَ\
   *idh sadda \`anhu \`ibaduka*\
   when Your servants diverted from it,

72. وَجَهِلُوٱ مَعْرِفَتَهُ\
   *wa jahilu ma\`rifatahu*\
   ignored the recognition of it,

73. وَٱسْتَخَفُّوٱ بِحَقِّهِ\
   *wastakhaffu bihaqqihi*\
   belittled its right,

74. وَمَالُوٱ إِلَىٰ سِوَاهُ\
   *wa malu ila siwahu*\
   and inclined to elsewhere.

75. فَكَانَتِ ٱلْمِنَّةُ مِنْكَ عَلَيَّ\
   *fakanat alminnatu minka \`alayya*\
   Hence, You have conferred upon me with this favor

76. مَعَ اقْوَامٍ خَصَصْتَهُمْ بِمَا خَصَصْتَنِي بِهِ\
   *ma\`a aqwamin khasastahum bima khasastani bihi*\
   as well as upon other people whom You have granted exclusively the same.

77. فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ إِذْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَكَ\
   *falaka alhamdu idh kuntu \`indaka*\
   So, all praise be to You, for I have been

78. فِي مَقَامِي هٰذَا مَذْكُوراً مَكْتُوباً\
   *fi maqami hadha madhkuran maktuban*\
   mentioned and written with You due to the situation in which I am now.

79. فَلاَ تَحْرِمْنِي مَا رَجَوْتُ\
   *fala tahrimni ma rajawtu*\
   Hence, (please) do not deprive me of what I long for,

80. وَلاَ تُخَيِّبْنِي فِي مَا دَعَوْتُ\
   *wa la tukhayyibni fi ma da\`awtu*\
   and do not disappoint me as regards my supplication;

81. بِحُرْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ\
   *bihurmati muhammadin wa alihi alttahirina*\
   (please do so) in the name of the sanctity of Muhammad and his immaculate Household.

82. وَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *wa salla allahu \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

83. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ ائِمَّةَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *alssalamu \`alaykum a'immata alhuda wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you, O leaders to the true guidance.

84. اسْتَوْدِعُكُمُ ٱللَّهَ وَاقْرَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلسَّلاَمَ\
   *astawdi\`ukumu allaha wa aqra'u \`alaykumu alssalama*\
   I entrust you with Allah(\[1\]) and send salutations to you.

85. آمَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلرَّسُولِ\
   *amanna billahi wa bilrrasuli*\
   We believe in Allah and in the Messenger

86. وَبِمَا جِئْتُمْ بِهِ وَدَلَلْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ\
   *wa bima ji'tum bihi wa dalaltum \`alayhi*\
   and in that which you have conveyed and that to which you have guided.

87. اَللَّهُمَّ فَٱكْتُبْنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّاهِدِينَ\
   *allahumma faktubna ma\`a alshshahidina*\
   O Allah, then write us down among those who bear witness.

88. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ رَبِّ لْعَالَمِينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya ibna rasuli rabbi al\`alamina*\
   Peace be on you, O son of the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds!

89. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ امِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya ibna amiri almu'minina*\
   Peace be on you, O son of the Commander of the Believers!

90. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ فَاطِمَةَ ٱلزَّهْرَاءِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya ibna fatimata alzzahra’i*\
   Peace be on you, O son of Fatima, the luminous lady!

91. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيبَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya habiba allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O beloved of Allah!

92. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صِفْوَةَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya sifwata allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O choice of Allah!

93. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا امِينَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya amina allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O trustee of Allah!

94. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya hujjata allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O Argument of Allah!

95. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya nura allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O Light of Allah!

96. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صِرَاطَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya sirata allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O Path of Allah!

97. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَيَانَ حُكْمِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya bayana hukmi allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O elucidation of the rule of Allah!

98. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَاصِرَ دِينِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya nasira dini allahi*\
   Peace be on you, O supporter of the religion of Allah!

99. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلسَّيِدُ ٱلزَّكِيُّ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alssayyidu alzzakiyyu*\
   Peace be on you, O pure master!

100. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلْوَفِيُّ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha albarru alwafiyyu*\
   Peace be on you, O self-righteous and truthful!

101. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلْقَائِمُ ٱلامِينُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alqa'imu al-aminu*\
   Peace be on you, O practiser (of God’s commands) and trustee!

102. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلْعَالِمُ بِٱلتَّاوِيلِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha al\`alimu biltta'wili*\
   Peace be on you, O well-experienced in the interpretation (of the Qur'an)!

103. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلْهَادِي ٱلْمَهْدِيُّ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alhadi almahdiyyu*\
   Peace be on you, O guide and well-guided!

104. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلطَّاهِرُ ٱلزَّكِيُّ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alttahiru alzzakiyyu*\
   Peace be on you, O immaculate and pure!

105. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلتَّقِيُّ ٱلنَّقِيُّ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alttaqiyyu alnnaqiyyu*\
   Peace be on you, O pious and infallible!

106. السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْحَقِيقُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alhaqqu alhaqiqu*\
   Peace be on you, O veritable truth!

107. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ ايُّهَا ٱلشَّهِيدُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alshshahidu alssiddiqu*\
   Peace be on you, O martyr and veracious!

108. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya aba muhammadin alhasana ibna \`aliyyin*\
   Peace be on you, O Abu-Muhammad al-Hasan, the son of Ali!

109. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you!

110. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَسَنِ وَٱلْحُسَيْنِ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala alhasani walhusayni*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon al-Hasan and al-Husayn,

111. عَبْدَيْكَ وَوَلِيَّيْكَ\
   *\`abdayka wa waliyyayka*\
   Your two servants and friends,

112. وَٱبْنَيْ رَسُولِكَ وَسِبْطَيِ ٱلرَّحْمَةِ\
   *wabnay rasulika wa sibtay alrrahmati*\
   the two sons of Your Messengers, the two grandsons of Mercy,

113. وَسَيِّدَيْ شَبَابِ أَهْلِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ\
   *wa sayyiday shababi ahli aljannati*\
   and the two chiefs of the youth of Paradise,

114. أَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَوْلاَدِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ وَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\
   *afdala ma sallayta \`ala ahadin min awladi alnnabiyyina walmursalina*\
   with the most excellent blessings that You have ever sent upon any of the sons of the Prophets and the Messengers.

115. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَسَنِ ٱبْنِ سَيِّدِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala alhasani ibni sayyidi alnnabiyyina*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon al-Hasan the son of the chief of the Prophets

116. وَوَصِيِّ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *wa wasiyyi amiri almu'minina*\
   and the successor of the Commander of the Faithful.

117. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna rasuli allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O son of Allah's Messenger.

118. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ سَيِّدِ ٱلْوَصِيِّينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna sayyidi alwasiyyina*\
   Peace be upon you, O son of the chief of the Prophets’ successors.

119. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ يَا بْنَ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *ashhadu annaka yabna amiri almu'minina*\
   I bear witness that you are indeed, the son of the Commander of the Faithful,

120. أَمِينُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنُ أَمِينِهِ\
   *aminu allahi wabnu aminihi*\
   the trustee of Allah, and the son of His trustee.

121. عِشْتَ رَشِيداً مَظْلُوماً\
   *\`ishta rashidan mazluman*\
   You lived upright and persecuted

122. وَمَضَيْتَ شَهِيداً\
   *wa madayta shahidan*\
   and passed away as martyr.

123. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلزَّكِيُّ\
   *wa ashhadu annaka al-imamu alzzakiyyu*\
   And I bear witness that you are indeed, the pure,

124. ٱلْهَادِي ٱلْمَهْدِيُّ\
   *alhadi almahdiyyu*\
   guiding, and well-guided leader.

125. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ\
   *allahumma salli \`alayhi*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon him

126. وَبَلِّغْ رُوحَهُ وَجَسَدَهُ عَنِّي\
   *wa balligh ruhahu wa jasadahu \`anni*\
   and convey to his soul and body

127. فِي هٰذِهِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَفْضَلَ ٱلتَّحِيَّةِ وَٱلسَّلاَمِ\
   *fi hadhihi alssa\`ati afdala alttahiyyati walssalami*\
   at this hour the best greeting and salutation from me.

128. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala alhusayni ibni \`aliyyin*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon al-Husayn the son of Ali,

129. ٱلْمَظْلُومِ ٱلشَّهِيدِ\
   *almazlumi alshshahidi*\
   the oppressed, the martyr,

130. قَتِيلِ ٱلْكَفَرَةِ وَطَرِيحِ ٱلْفَجَرَةِ\
   *qatili alkafarati wa tarihi alfajarati*\
   the slain by the unbelievers, and the thrown down by the sinful people.

131. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka ya aba \`abdi allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O Abu-\`Abdullah.

132. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna rasuli allahi*\
   Peace be upon you, O son of Allah's Messenger.

133. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *alssalamu \`alayka yabna amiri almu'minina*\
   Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful.

134. أَشْهَدُ مُوقِناً أَنَّكَ أَمِينُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنُ أَمِينِهِ\
   *ashhadu muqinan annaka aminu allahi wabnu aminihi*\
   I bear witness with full conviction that you are indeed, the trustee of Allah and the son of His trustee.

135. قُتِلْتَ مَظْلُوماً وَمَضَيْتَ شَهِيداً\
   *qutilta mazluman wa madayta shahidan*\
   You were killed wrongly and you passed away as martyr.

136. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَعَالَىٰ ٱلطَّالِبُ بِثَأْرِكَ\
   *wa ashhadu anna allaha ta\`ala alttalibu bitha'rika*\
   I also bear witness that Allah the All-exalted is the One Who shall avenge You

137. وَمُنْجِزٌ مَا وَعَدَكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّصْرِ وَٱلتَّأْيِيدِ\
   *wa munjizun ma wa\`adaka min alnnasri waltta'yidi*\
   and shall fulfill His promise to You of support and victory

138. فِي هَلاَكِ عَدُوِّكَ وَإِظْهَارِ دَعْوَتِكَ\
   *fi halaki \`aduwwika wa izhari da\`watika*\
   through exterminating your enemies and demonstrating your call (to the true guidance).

139. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ وَفَيْتَ بِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa ashhadu annaka wafayta bi\`ahdi allahi*\
   I also bear witness that you fulfilled your covenant with Allah,

140. وَجَاهَدْتَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa jahadta fi sabili allahi*\
   strove hard for His sake,

141. وَعَبَدْتَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصاً حَتَّىٰ أَتَاكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ\
   *wa \`abadta allaha mukhlisan hatta ataka alyaqinu*\
   and served Allah sincerely until death came upon you.

142. لَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ\
   *la\`ana allahu ummatan qatalatka*\
   May Allah curse the people who killed you.

143. وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أُمَّةً خَذَلَتْكَ\
   *wa la\`ana allahu ummatan khadhalatka*\
   May Allah curse the people who disappointed you.

144. وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أُمَّةً أَلَّبَتْ عَلَيْكَ\
   *wa la\`ana allahu ummatan allabat \`alayka*\
   May Allah curse the people who incited people against you.

145. وَأَبْرَأُ إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ مَمَّنْ كَذَّبَكَ\
   *wa abra'u ila allahi ta\`ala mamman kadhdhabaka*\
   I release myself before Allah the All-exalted from those who belied you,

146. وَٱسْتَخَفَّ بِحَقِّكَ وَٱسْتَحَلَّ دَمَكَ\
   *wa istakhaffa bihaqqika wa istahalla damaka*\
   belittled your right, and allowed themselves to shed your blood.

147. بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *bi'abi anta wa ummi ya aba \`abdi allahi*\
   May my father and mother be ransoms for you.

148. لَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ قَاتِلَكَ\
   *la\`ana allahu qatilaka*\
   Allah's curse be on those who killed you.

149. وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ خَاذِلَكَ\
   *wa la\`ana allahu khadhilaka*\
   Allah's curse be on those who let you down.

150. وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ سَمِعَ وَاعِيَتَكَ فَلَمْ يُجِبْكَ وَلَمْ يَنْصُرْكَ\
   *wa la\`ana allahu man sami\`a wa\`iyataka falam yujibka wa lam yansurka*\
   Allah's curse be on those who heard your call (for help), but they refrained from responding to you or supporting you.

151. وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ سَبَىٰ نِسَاءَكَ\
   *wa la\`ana allahu man saba nisa'aka*\
   Allah's curse be on those who captured your women.

152. أَنَا إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ مِنْهُمْ بَرِيءٌ وَمِمَّنْ وَالاَهُمْ\
   *ana ila allahi minhum bari'un wa mimman walahum*\
   I disavow them all before Allah and disavow those who adhered to them,

153. وَمَاَلأَهُمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ\
   *wa mala'ahum wa a\`anahum \`alayhi*\
   those who kept up with them, and those who helped them against you.

154. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ وَٱلأَئِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ كَلِمَةُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ\
   *wa ashhadu annaka wal-a'immata min wuldika kalimatu alttaqwai*\
   I also bear witness that you and the Imams from your descendants are the word of piety,

155. وَبَابُ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْعُرْوَةُ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ\
   *wa babu alhuda wal\`urwatu alwuthqai*\
   the door to true guidance, the firmest handle,

156. وَٱلْحُجَّةُ عَلَىٰ أَهْلِ ٱلدُّنْيَا\
   *walhujjatu \`ala ahli alddunya*\
   and the argument against the inhabitants of this world.

157. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنِّي بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ\
   *wa ashhadu anni bikum mu'minun*\
   I also bear witness that I have full faith in you,

158. وَبِمَنْزِلَتِكُمْ مُوقِنٌ\
   *wa bimanzilatikum muqinun*\
   I have conviction in your standing,

159. وَلَكُمْ تَابِعٌ بِذَاتِ نَفْسِي\
   *wa lakum tabi\`un bidhati nafsi*\
   and I always follow you in myself,

160. وَشَرَائِعِ دِينِي وَخَوَاتِيمِ عَمَلِي\
   *wa shara'i\`i dini wa khawatimi \`amali*\
   in the laws of my religion, in my sealing deeds,

161. وَمُنْقَلَبِي وَمَثْوَايَ فِي دُنْيَايَ وَآخِرَتِي\
   *wa munqalabi wa mathwaya fi dunyaya wa akhirati*\
   in my tour, and in my settlement in this worldly life and the Hereafter.
