## Text

Each line gives the Arabic, then the transliteration in italics, then the English.

1. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَىٰ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadi bni \`aliyyi bni musa*\
   O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad the son of Ali the son of Musa,

2. عَلَمِ ٱلتُّقَىٰ\
   *\`alami alttuqa*\
   the epitome of piety,

3. وَنُورِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ\
   *wa nuri alhuda*\
   the illumination of true guidance,

4. وَمَعْدِنِ ٱلْوَفَاءِ\
   *wa ma\`dini alwafa'i*\
   the essence of faithfulness,

5. وَفَرْعِ ٱلأَزْكِيَاءِ\
   *wa far\`i al-azkiya'i*\
   the branch of the bright ones,

6. وَخَلِيفَةِ ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ\
   *wa khalifati al-awsiya'i*\
   the vicegerent of the Successors,

7. وَأَمِينِكَ عَلَىٰ وَحْيِكَ\
   *wa aminika \`ala wahyika*\
   and Your trustee on Your revelations.

8. اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا هَدَيْتَ بِهِ مِنَ ٱلضَّلاَلَةِ\
   *allahumma fakama hadayta bihi min alddalalati*\
   O Allah, as You have guided through him against straying off,

9. وَٱسْتَنْقَذْتَ بِهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَيْرَةِ\
   *wastanqadhta bihi min alhayrati*\
   saved against confusion,

10. وَأَرْشَدْتَ بِهِ مِنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ\
   *wa arshadta bihi man ihtada*\
   directed those who were rightly guided,

11. وَزَكَّيْتَ بِهِ مَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ\
   *wa zakkayta bihi man tazakka*\
   and purified those who were purified,

12. فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ\
   *fasalli \`alayhi*\
   so also (please) bless him

13. أَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ\
   *afdala ma sallayta \`ala ahadin*\
   with the most favorite blessings that You have ever conferred

14. مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَبَقِيَّةِ أَوْصِيَائِكَ\
   *min awliya'ika wa baqiyyati awsiya'ika*\
   upon any of Your intimate servants and agents of Your Successors.

15. إِنَّكَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ\
   *innaka \`azizun hakimun*\
   Indeed, You are Almighty, All-wise.
