1. أللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ بِرَحْمَتِهِ يَسْتَغِيثُ الْمُذْنِبُونَ،\
   *al-laahum-ma yaa mam-birah'-matihee yas-tagheethul-mud'-niboon*\
   \1.O God, O He through whose Mercy sinners seek aid!

2. وَيَا مَنْ إلَى ذِكْرِ إحْسَانِهِ يَفْزَعُ الْمُضْطَرُّونَ،\
   *wa yaa man ilaa d'ik-ri ih'-saanihee yaf-zau'l-muz''-t'ar-roon*\
   \2.O He to the remembrance of whose beneficence the distressed flee!

3. وَيَا مَنْ لِخِيفَتِهِ يَنْتَحِبُ الْخَاطِئُونَ،\
   *wa yaa mal-likheefatihee yantah'ibul-khaat'i-oon*\
   \3.O He in fear of whom the offenders weep!

4. يَا اُنْسَ كُلِّ مُسْتَوْحِشٍ غَرِيبٍِ،\
   *yaaa unsa kul-li mus-taw-h'ishin ghareeb*\
   \4.O Comfort of every lonely stranger!

5. وَيَا فَرَجَ كُلِّ مَكْرُوبٍ كَئِيبٍ،\
   *wa yaa faraja kul-li mak-roobin ka-eeb*\
   \5.O Relief of all who are downcast and distressed!

6. وَيَا غَوْثَ كُلِّ مَخْذُوَلٍ فَرِيدٍ،\
   *wa yaa ghaw-tha kul-li makh-d'oolin fareed*\
   \6.O Aid of everyone abandoned and alone!

7. وَيَا عَضُدَ كُلِّ مُحْتَاجٍ طَرِيدٍ .\
   *wa yaa a'z''uda kul-li muh'-taajin t'areed*\
   \7.O Support of every needy outcast!

8. أَنْتَ الَّذِي وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْء رَحْمَةً وَعِلْماً،\
   *antal-lad'ee wasia'-ta kul-la shay-ir-rah'-mataw-wai'l-maa*\
   \8.You are He who "embrace everything in mercy and knowledge"! (40:7)

9. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِي جَعَلْتَ لِكُلِّ مَخْلُوق فِي نِعَمِكَ سَهْماً،\
   *wa antal-lad'ee jaa'l-ta likul-li makh-looqin fee nia'mika sah-maa*\
   \9.You are He who have appointed for each creature a share of Your favours!

10. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ عَفْوُهُ أَعْلَى مِنْ عِقَابِهِ،\
   *wa antal-lad'ee a'f-wuhooo aa'-laa min i'qaabih*\
   \10.You are He whose pardon is higher than His punishment!

11. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِي تَسْعَى رَحْمَتُهُ أَمَامَ غَضَبِهِ،\
   *wa antal-lad'ee tas-a'a rah'-matuhooo amaama ghaz''abih*\
   \11.You are He whose mercy runs before His wrath!

12. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِي عَطَآؤُهُ أكْثَرُ مِنْ مَنْعِهِ،\
   *wa antal-lad'ee a't'aaaw-uhooo ak-tharu mim-man-i'h*\
   \12.You are He whose bestowal is greater than His withholding!

13. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ اتَّسَعَ الْخَلاَئِقُ كُلُّهُمْ فِي رَحمَتِهِ،\
   *wa antal-lad'ee at-tasaa'l-khalaaa-iqu kul-luhum fee rah'matih*\
   \13.You are He by whose mercy all creatures are embraced!

14. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِي لا يَرْغَبُ فِي جَزَاءِ مَنْ أَعْطَاهُ،\
   *wa antal-lad'ee laa yar-ghabu fee jazaaa-i man aa'-t'aah*\
   \14.You are He who desires no repayment by him upon whom He bestows!

15. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِي لا يُفْرِطُ فِي عِقَابِ مَنْ عَصَاهُ.\
   *wa antal-lad'ee laa yuf-rit'u fee i'qaabi man a's'aah*\
   \15.You are He who does not overdo the punishment of him who disobeys You!

16. وَأَنَا يَا إلهِي عَبْدُكَ الَّذِي أَمَرْتَهُ بِالدُّعاءِ فَقَالَ:\
   *wa ana yaaa ilaahee a'b-dukal-lad'eee amar-tahoo bid-dua'aa-i faqaala:*\
   \16.And I, my God, am Your servant whom You commanded to supplicate and who said:

17. لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ، هَا أَنَا ذَا يَا رَبِّ مَطْرُوحٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ،\
   *lab-bay-ka wa saa'-day-k haaa ana d'aa yaa rab-bi mat'-rooh'um-bay-na yaday-k*\
   \17.I am at Your service and disposal! Here am I, my Lord, thrown down before You.

18. أَنَا الَّذِي أَوْقَرَتِ الْخَطَايَا ظَهْرَهُ،\
   *anaal-lad'eee aw-qaratil-khat'aayaa z'ah-rah*\
   \18.I am he whose back offenses have weighed down!

19. وَأَنا الَّذِي أَفْنَتِ الذُّنُوبُ عُمْرَهُ،\
   *wa anaal-lad'eee af-natid'-d'unoobu u'murah*\
   \19.I am he whose lifetime sins have consumed!

20. وَأَنَا الَّذِي بِجَهْلِهِ عَصاكَ وَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَهْلاً مِنْهُ لِذَاكَ.\
   *wa anaal-lad'ee bijah-lihee a's'aak wa lam takun ah-lam-min-hoo lid'aak*\
   \20.I am he who was disobedient in his ignorance, while You did not deserve that from him!

21. هَلْ أَنْتَ يَا إلهِي رَاحِمٌ مَنْ دَعَاكَ فَأُبْلِغَ فِي الدُّعَاءِ\
   *hal anta yaaa ilaahee raah'imum-man daa'aka faab-ligha fid-dua'aa-i?*\
   \21.Will You, my God, be merciful toward him who supplicates You, that I should bring my supplication before You?

22. أَمْ أَنْتَ غَافِرٌ لِمَنْ بَكَاكَ فَأُسْرِعَ فِي الْبُكَاءِ\
   *am anta ghaafirul-limam-bakaaka faas-ria' fil-bukaaa-i?*\
   \22.Will You forgive him who weeps to You that I should hurry to weep?

23. أَمْ أَنْتَ مُتَجَاوِزٌ عَمَّنْ عَفَّرَ لَكَ وَجْهَهُ تَذَلُّلاً\
   *am anta mutjaawizun a'm-man a'f-fara laka wj-hahoo tad'al-lula?*\
   \23.Will You show forbearance toward him who puts his face in the dust before You in lowliness?

24. أَم أَنْتَ مُغْن مَنْ شَكَا إلَيْكَ فَقْرَهُ تَوَكُّلاً؟\
   *am anta mugh-nim-man shakaaa ilay-ka faq-rahoo tawak-kulaa*\
   \24.Will You free from need him who complains to You of his indigent need with confidence?

25. إلهِي لاَ تُخيِّبْ مَنْ لا يَجدُ مُعْطِياً غَيْرَكَ،\
   *ilaahee laa tukhay-yib mal-laa yajidu mua'-t'eean ghay-rak*\
   \25.My God, disappoint not him who finds no bestower other than You,

26. وَلاَ تَخْذُلْ مَنْ لا يَسْتَغْنِي عَنْكَ بِأَحَدٍ دُونَكَ.\
   *wa laa takh-d'ul mal-laa yas-tagh-nee a'nka bih'adin doonak*\
   \26.and abandon not him who cannot be freed from his need for You through less than You!

27. إلهِي فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ\
   *ilaahee fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih*\
   \27.My God, so bless Muhammad and his Household,

28. وَلاَ تُعْرِضْ عَنِّي وَقَدْ أَقْبَلْتُ عَلَيْكَ ،\
   *wa laa tua'-riz'' a'n-nee waqad aq-bal-tu a'lay-k*\
   \28.turn not away from me when I have turned my face toward You,

29. وَلا تَحْرِمْنِي وَقَـدْ رَغِبْتُ إلَيْكَ،\
   *wa laa tah'-rim-nee waqad raghib-tu ilay-k*\
   \29.deprive me not when 1 have besought You,

30. وَلا تَجْبَهْنِي بِالرَّدِّ وَقَدْ انْتَصَبْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ.\
   *wa laa taj-bah-nee bir-rad-di waqadi antas'ab-tu bay-na yaday-k*\
   \30.and slap not my brow with rejection when I have stood before You!

31. أَنْتَ الَّذِي وَصَفْتَ نَفْسَكَ بِالرَّحْمَةِ،\
   *antal-lad'ee was'af-ta naf-saka bir-rah'-mati*\
   \31.You are He who has described Himself by mercy,

32. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ وَارْحَمْنِي،\
   *fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalihee war-h'am-nee*\
   \32.so bless Muhammad and his Household and have mercy upon me!

33. وَأَنْتَ الَّذِي سَمَّيْتَ نَفْسَكَ بِالعَفْوِ، فَاعْفُ عَنِّي.\
   *wa antal-lad'ee sam-may-ta naf-saka bil-a'f-wi faa'-fu a'n-nee*\
   \33.You are He who has named Himself by pardon so pardon me!

34. قَـدْ تَرَى يَـا إلهِي فَيْضَ دَمْعِي مِنْ خِيفَتِكَ،\
   *qad t-taraa yaaa ilaahee fay-z''a dam-e'e min kheefatik*\
   \34.You have seen, my God, the flow of my tears in fear of You,

35. وَوَجِيبَ قَلْبِي مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ،\
   *wa wajeeba qal-bee min khash-yatik*\
   \35.the throbbing of my heart in dread of You,

36. وَانْتِفَاضَ جَوَارِحِي مِنْ هَيْبَتِكَ،\
   *wantifaaz''a jawaarih'ee min hay-batik*\
   \36.and the infirmity of my limbs in awe of You.

37. كُلُّ ذَلِكَ حَيَاءٌ مِنْكَ لِسُوءِ عَمَلِي,\
   *kul-lu d'alika h'ayaaa-am-min-nee bisooo-i a'malee*\
   \37.All this from my shame before You because of my evil works!

38. وَلِذَاكَ خَمَدَ صَوْتِي عَنِ الْجَارِ إلَيْكَ،\
   *wa lid'alik khamada s'aw-tee a'nil-jaa-ri ilay-k*\
   \38.So my voice has become silent, no longer crying to You,

39. وَكَلَّ لِسَانِي عَنْ مُنَاجَاتِكَ\
   *wa kal-la lisaanee a'm-munaajaatik*\
   \39.and my tongue has gone dumb, no longer whispering in prayer.

40. يَا إلهِي فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، فَكَم مِنْ عَائِبَةٍ سَتَرْتَهَا عَلَيَّ فَلَم تَفْضَحْنِي،\
   *yaaa ilaahee falakal-h'am-d fakam min a'aa-ibatin satar-tahaa a'lay-ya falam taf-z''ah'-nee*\
   \40.My God, so to You belongs praise! How many of my flaws You have covered over without exposing me!

41. وَكَمْ مِنْ ذنْبِ غَطَّيْتَهُ عَلَيَّ فَلَمْ تَشْهَرْنِي،\
   *wa kam min d'ambin ghat'-t'ay-tahoo a'lay-ya falam tash-har-nee*\
   \41.How many of my sins You have cloaked without making me notorious!

42. وَكَمْ مِنْ شَائِبَة أَلْمَمْتُ بِهَا فَلَمْ تَهْتِكْ عَنِّي سِتْرَهَا،\
   *wa kam min shaaa-ibatin al-mam-tu bihaa falam tah-tik a'n-nee sit-rahaa*\
   \42.How many faults I have committed, yet You did not tear away from me their covering,

43. وَلَمْ تُقَلِّدْنِي مَكْرُوهَ شَنَارِهَا،\
   *wa lam tuqal-lid-nee mak-rooha shanaarihaa*\
   \43.collar me with their detested disgrace,

44. وَلَمْ تُبْدِ سَوْأَتِهَا لِمَنْ يَلْتَمِسُ مَعَايِبِي مِنْ جِيْرَتِي،\
   *wa lam tub-di saw-aaatihaa limay-yal-tamisu maa'ayibee min jeeratee*\
   \44.or make their dishonour plain to those of my neighbours who search for my defects

45. وَحَسَدَةِ نِعْمَتِكَ عِنْدِي،\
   *wa h'asadati nia'-matika i'ndee*\
   \45.and to those who envy Your favour toward me!

46. ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنْهَنِي ذَلِكَ عَنْ أَنْ جَرَيْتُ إلَى سُوءِ مَا عَهِدْتَ مِنّي\
   *thum-ma lam yan-hanee d'alika a'n an jaray-tu ilaa sooo-i maa a'hit-ta min-nee*\
   \46.But that did not prevent me from passing on to the evil that You know from me!

47. فَمَنْ أَجْهَلُ مِنِّي يَا إلهِيْ بِرُشْدِهِ\
   *faman aj-halu min-nee yaaa ilaahee birush-dihi?*\
   \47.So who is more ignorant than I, my God, of his own right conduct?

48. وَمَنْ أَغْفَلُ مِنِّي عَنْ حَظِّهِ\
   *waman agh-falu min-nee a'n h'az'-z'ihi?*\
   \48.Who is more heedless than I of his own good fortune?

49. وَمَنْ أَبْعَدُ مِنِّي مِنِ اسْتِصْلاَحِ نَفْسِهِ\
   *waman ab-a'du min-nee mini as-tis'-laahee naf-sihi?*\
   \49.Who is further than I from seeking to set himself right?

50. حِيْنَ اُنْفِقُ مَا أَجْرَيْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ\
   *h'eena unfiqu maaa sj-ray-ta a'lay-ya mir-riz-qika*\
   \50.For I spend the provision You deliver to me

51. فِيمَا نَهَيْتَنِي عَنْهُ مِنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ\
   *feemaa nahay-tanee a'n-hoo mim-maa'-s'eeatik*\
   \51.in the disobedience You have prohibited to me!

52. وَمَنْ أَبْعَدُ غَوْراً فِي الْبَاطِلِ وَأَشَدُّ إقْدَاماً عَلَى السُّوءِ مِنّي\
   *wa man ab-a'du ghaw-ran fil-baat'il wa ashad-du iq-daaman a'laas-sooo-i min-nee?*\
   \52.Who sinks more deeply into falsehood and is more intensely audacious in evil than I?

53. حِينَ أَقِفُ بَيْنَ دَعْوَتِكَ وَدَعْوَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ،\
   *h'eena aqifu bay-na daa'-watika wa daa'-watish-shay-t'aani*\
   \53.For I hesitate between Your call and the call of Satan

54. فَـأتَّبعُ دَعْوَتَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ عَمىً مِنّي فِيْ مَعْرِفَة بِهِ،\
   *faat-tabiu' daa'-watahoo a'laa ghay-r a'mam-min-nee fee maa'-rifatim-bih*\
   \54.and then follow his call without being blind in my knowledge of him

55. وَلا نِسْيَان مِنْ حِفْظِي لَهُ وَأَنَا حِينَئِذ مُوقِنٌ\
   *wa laa nis-yaanim-min h'if-z'ee lah wa ana h'eena-id'im-mooqinum*\
   \55.or forgetful in my memory of him, while I am certain

56. بِأَنَّ مُنْتَهَى دَعْوَتِكَ إلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَمُنْتَهَى دَعْوَتِهِ إلَى النَّارِ\
   *bianna muntahaa daa'-watika ilaal-jan-nah wa muntahaa daa'-watiheee ilaan-naar*\
   \56.that Your call takes to the Garden and his call takes to the Fire!

57. سُبْحَانَكَ مَا أَعْجَبَ مَا أَشْهَدُ بِهِ\
   *sub-h'aanaka maaa aa'-jaba maaa ash-hadu bihee*\
   \57.Glory be to You! How marvellous the witness I bear

58. عَلَى نَفْسِي وَاُعَدِّدُهُ مِنْ مَكْتُوْمِ أَمْرِي،\
   *a'laa naf-see wa ua'd-diduhoo mim-mak-toomi am-ree?*\
   \58.against my own soul and the enumeration of my own hidden affairs!

59. وَأَعْجَبُ مِنْ ذلِكَ أَنَاتُكَ عَنِّي\
   *wa aa'-jabu min d'alika anaatuka a'n-nee*\
   \59.And more marvellous than that is Your lack of haste with me,

60. وَإبْطآؤُكَ عَنْ مُعَاجَلَتِي وَلَيْسَ ذلِكَ\
   *wa ib-t'aaaw-uka a'm-mua'ajalatee wa lay-sa d'alika*\
   \60.Your slowness in attending to me! That is not because I possess

61. مِنْ كَرَمِي عَلَيْكَ بَلْ تَأَنِّياً مِنْكَ لِي،\
   *min karamee a'lay-k bal taan-neeam-minka lee*\
   \61.honour with You, but because You wait patiently for me

62. وَتَفَضُّلاً مِنْكَ عَلَيَّ،\
   *wa tafaz''-z''ulam-minka a'lay*\
   \62.and are bountiful toward me

63. لانْ أَرْتَـدِعَ عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ الْمُسْخِطَةِ\
   *lian ar-tadia' a'm-maa'-s'eeatika al-mus-khit'ah*\
   \63.that I may refrain from disobedience displeasing to You

64. وَاُقْلِعَ عَنْ سَيِّئَـاتِي الْمُخْلِقَةِ .\
   *wa uq-lia' a'n say-yi-aateel-mukh-liqah*\
   \64.and abstain from evil deeds that disgrace me,

65. وَلاَِنَّ عَفْوَكَ عَنّي أَحَبُّ إلَيْكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِي،\
   *wa lian-na a'f-waka a'n-neee ah'ab-bu ilay-ka min u'qoobatee*\
   \65.and because You love to pardon me more than to punish!

66. بَلْ أَنَا يَا إلهِي أكْثَرُ ذُنُوباً\
   *bal ana yaaa ilaahee ak'tha-ru d'unoobaa*\
   \66.But I, my God, am more numerous in sins,

67. وَأَقْبَحُ آثاراً وَأَشْنَعُ أَفْعَالاً\
   *wa aq-bahoo aaathaaraa wa ash-nau' af-a'alaa*\
   \67.uglier in footsteps, more repulsive in acts,

68. وَأَشَدُّ فِي الْباطِلِ تَهَوُّراً\
   *wa ashad-du fil-baat'ili tahaw-wuraa*\
   \68.more reckless in rushing into falsehood,

69. وَأَضْعَفُ عِنْدَ طَاعَتِكَ تَيَقُّظاً،\
   *wa az''-a'fu i'nda t'aaa'tika tayaq-quz'aa*\
   \69.weaker in awakening to Your obedience,

70. وَأَقَلُّ لِوَعِيْدِكَ انْتِبَاهاً وَارْتِقَاباً\
   *wa aqal-lu liwae'edika antibaahaw war-tiqaabaa*\
   \70.and less attentive and heedful toward Your threats,

71. مِنْ أَنْ أُحْصِيَ لَكَ عُيُوبِي،\
   *min an uh'-s'eea laka u'yoobee*\
   \71.than that I could number for You my faults

72. أَوْ أَقْدِرَ عَلَى ذِكْرِ ذُنُوبِي\
   *aw aq-dira a'laa d'ik-ri d'unoobee*\
   \72.or have the power to recount my sins.

73. وَإنَّمَا أُوبِّخُ بِهَذا نَفْسِي طَمَعَـاً فِي رَأْفَتِكَ\
   *wa in-namaaa uwab-bikhu bihad'aa naf-see t'amaa'na fee raa-fatik*\
   \73.I only scold my own soul, craving Your gentleness,

74. الَّتِي بِهَـا صَلاَحُ أَمْرِ الْمُذْنِبِينَ،\
   *al-latee bihaa s'alaahoo am-ril-mud'-nibeen*\
   \74.through which the affairs of sinners are set right,

75. وَرَجَاءً لِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي بِهَا فَكَاكُ رِقَابِ الْخَاطِئِينَ.\
   *wa rajaaa-al-lirah'-matikal-latee bihaa fakaaku riqaabil-khaat'i-een*\
   \75.and hoping for Your mercy, through which the necks of the offenders are freed.

76. اللَّهُمَّ وَهَذِهِ رَقَبَتِي قَدْ أَرَقَّتْهَا الذُّنُوبُ،\
   *al-laahum-ma wahad'ihee raqabatee qad araq-qat-haad'-d'unoob*\
   \76.O God, this is my neck, enslaved by sins,

77. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ وَأَعْتِقْهَا بِعَفْوِكَ،\
   *fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalihee wa aa'-tiq-haa bia'f-wik*\
   \77.so bless Muhammad and his Household and release it through Your pardon!

78. وَهَذَا ظَهْرِي قَدْ أَثْقَلَتْهُ الْخَطَايَـا،\
   *wa had'aa z'ah-ree qad ath-qalat-hul-khat'aayaa*\
   \78.This is my back, weighed down by offenses,

79. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ وَخَفِّفْ عَنْهُ بِمَنِّكَ.\
   *fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalihee wa khaf-fif a'n-hoo biman-nik*\
   \79.so bless Muhammad and his Household and lighten it through Your kindness!

80. يَا إلهِي لَوْ بَكَيْتُ إلَيْكَ حَتَّى تَسْقُطَ أَشْفَارُ عَيْنَيَّ ،\
   *yaaa ilaahee law bakay-tu ilay-ka h'at-taa tas-qut'a ash-faaru a'y-nay*\
   \80.My God, were I to weep to You until my eyelids drop off,

81. وَانْتَحَبْتُ حَتَّى يَنْقَطِعَ صَوْتِي،\
   *wantah'ab-tu h'at-taa yanqat'ia' s'aw-tee*\
   \81.wail until my voice wears out,

82. وَقُمْتُ لَكَ حَتَّى تَتَنَشَّرَ قَدَمَايَ،\
   *wa qum-tu laka h'at-taa tatanash-shara qadamaay*\
   \82.stand before You until my feet swell up,

83. وَرَكَعْتُ لَكَ حَتَّى يَنْخَلِعَ صُلْبِي،\
   *wa rakaa'-tu laka h'at-taa yan-khalia' s'ul-bee*\
   \83.bow to You until my backbone is thrown out of joint,

84. وَسَجَدْتُ لَكَ حَتَّى تَتَفَقَّأَ حَدَقَتَايَ،\
   *wa sajat-tu laka h'at-taa tatafaq-qaa h'adaqataay*\
   \84.prostrate to You until my eyeballs fall out,

85. وَأكَلْتُ تُرَابَ الأرْضِ طُولَ عُمْرِي،\
   *wa akal-tu turaabal-ar-z''i t'oola u'm-ree*\
   \85.eat the dirt of the earth for my whole life,

86. وَشَرِبْتُ مَاءَ الرَّمَادِ آخِرَ دَهْرِي\
   *wa sharib-tu maaa-ar-ramaadi aaakhira dah-ree*\
   \86.drink the water of ashes till the end of my days,

87. وَذَكَرْتُكَ فِي خِلاَلِ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَكِلَّ لِسَانِي\
   *wa d'akar-tuka fee khilaali d'alika h'at-taa yakil-la lisaanee*\
   \87.mention You through all of that until my tongue fails,

88. ثُمَّ لَمْ أَرْفَعْ طَرْفِي إلَى آفَاقِ السَّمَاءِ اسْتِحْيَاءً مِنْكَ\
   *thum-ma lam ar-faa' t'ar-feee ilaaa aaafaaqis-samaaa-i as-tih'-yaaa-am-minka*\
   \88.and not lift my glance to the sky's horizons in shame before You,

89. مَا اسْتَوْجَبْتُ بِذَلِكَ مَحْوَ سَيِّئَة وَاحِـدَة مِنْ سَيِّئـاتِي،\
   *mas-taw-jab-tu bid'alika mah'-wa say-yi-atiw-waah'idatim-min say-yi-aatee*\
   \89.yet would I not merit through all of that the erasing of a single one of my evil deeds!

90. وَإنْ كُنْتَ تَغْفِـرُ لِي حِيْنَ أَسْتَوْجِبُ مَغْفِرَتَكَ\
   *wa in kunt tagh-firu lee h'eena as-taw-jibu magh-firatak*\
   \90.Though You forgive me when I merit Your forgiveness

91. وَتَعْفُو عَنِّي حِينَ أَسْتَحِقُّ عَفْوَكَ\
   *wa taa'-foo a'n-nee h'eena as-tah'iq-qu a'f-wak*\
   \91.and pardon me when I deserve Your pardon,

92. فَإنَّ ذَلِكَ غَيْرُ وَاجِب لِيْ بِاسْتِحْقَاق،\
   *fa in-na d'alika ghay-ru waajibil-lee bis-tih'-qaaqiw*\
   \92.yet I have no title to that through what I deserve,

93. وَلا أَنَا أَهْلٌ لَهُ بِـاسْتِيجَاب\
   *wa laaa ana ah-lul-lahoo bis-teejaab*\
   \93.nor am I worthy of it through merit,

94. إذْ كَـانَ جَزَائِي مِنْكَ فِي أَوَّلِ مَا عَصَيْتُكَ النَّارَ;\
   *id' kaana jazaaa-ee minka feee aw-wali maa a's'ay-tukan-naar*\
   \94.since my repayment from You from the first that I disobeyed You is the Fire!

95. فَإنْ تُعَذِّبْنِي، فَأَنْتَ غَيْرُ ظَالِم لِيْ.\
   *fa in tua'd'-d'ib-nee fa anta ghay-ru z'aalimil-lee*\
   \95.So if You punish me, You do me no wrong.

96. إلهِي فَـإذْ قَـدْ تَغَمَّـدْتَنِي بِسِتْـرِكَ فَلَمْ تَفْضَحْنِي\
   *ilaahee faad' qad-tagham-mat-tanee bisit-rika falam taf-z''ah'-nee*\
   \96.My God, since You have shielded me with Your covering and not exposed me,

97. وَتَـأَنَّيْتَنِي بِكَـرَمِـكَ فَلَمْ تُعَـاجِلْنِي،\
   *wa taan-nay-tanee bkaramika falam tua'ajil-nee*\
   \97.waited patiently for me through Your generosity, and not hurried me to punishment,

98. َو حَلُمْتَ عَنِّي بِتَفَضُّلِكَ فَلَمْ تُغَيِّـرْ نِعْمَتَـكَ عَلَيَّ،\
   *wa h'alum-ta a'n-nee bitafaz''-z''ulika falam tughay-yir nia'-mataka a'lay-ya*\
   \98.and shown me clemency through Your bounty, and not changed Your favour upon me

99. وَلَمْ تُكَـدِّرْ مَعْرُوفَكَ عِنْدِي\
   *wa lam tukad-dir maa'-roofaka i'ndee*\
   \99.or muddied Your kindly acts toward me,

100. فَارْحَمْ طُولَ تَضَرُّعِيْ وَشِـدَّةَ مَسْكَنَتِي وَسُوءَ مَوْقِفِيْ.\
   *far-h'am t'oola taz''ar-rue'e wa shid-data mas-kanatee wa sooo-a maw-qifee*\
   \100.have mercy on my drawn out pleading, my intense misery, and my evil situation!

101. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ\
   *al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih*\
   \101.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,

102. وَقِنِي مِنَ الْمَعَاصِي وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِالطَّاعَةِ،\
   *wa qinee minal-maa'as'ee was-taa'-mil-nee bit'-t'aaa'h*\
   \102.protect me from acts of disobedience, employ me in obedience,

103. وَارْزُقْنِي حُسْنَ الإِنابَةِ وَطَهِّرْنِي بِالتَّـوْبَةِ،\
   *war-zuq-nee h'us-nal-inaabah wa t'ah-hir-nee bit-taw-bah*\
   \103.provide me with excellent turning back \[to You\], purify me through repentance,

104. وَأَيِّـدْنِي بِالْعِصْمَةِ وَاسْتَصْلِحْنِي بِالْعَافِيَةِ\
   *wa ay-yid-nee bil-i's'-mah was-tas'-lih'-nee bil-a'afeeah*\
   \104.strengthen me through preservation from sin, set me right through well being,

105. وَأَذِقْنِي حَلاَوَةَ الْمَغْفِـرَةِ،\
   *wa ad'iq-nee h'alaawatal-magh-firah*\
   \105.let me taste the sweetness of forgiveness,

106. وَاجْعَلْنِي طَلِيقَ عَفْـوِكَ، وَعَتِيقَ رَحْمَتِكَ\
   *waj-a'l-nee t'aleeqa a'f-wika wa a'teeqa rah'-matik*\
   \106.make me the freedman of Your pardon and the slave released by Your mercy,

107. وَاكْتُبْ لِي أَمَاناً مِنْ سَخَطِكَ\
   *wak-tub leee amaanam-min sakhat'ik*\
   \107.and write for me a security from Your displeasure!

108. وَبَشِّرْنِي بِذلِكَ فِي الْعَاجِلِ دُونَ الآجِلِ بُشْرى أَعْرِفُهَا\
   *wa bash-shir-nee bid'alika fil-a'ajili doonal-aaajili bush-raaa aa'-rifuhaa*\
   \108.Give me the good news of that in the immediate, not the deferred - a good news I recognize -

109. وَعَرِّفْنِي فِيهِ عَلاَمَةً أَتَبَيَّنُهَا\
   *wa a'r-rif-nee feehee a'laamatan atabay-yanuhaa*\
   \109.and make known to me therein a sign which I may clearly see!

110. إنَّ ذلِكَ لاَ يَضيقُ عَلَيْكَ فِي وُسْعِكَ ،\
   *in-na d'alik laa yaz''eequ a'lay-ka fee wus-i'k*\
   \110.That will not constrain You in Your plenty,

111. وَلا يَتَكَأَّدُكَ فِي قُدْرَتِكَ،\
   *wa laa yatakaa-aduka fee qud-ratik*\
   \111.distress You in Your power,

112. وَلا يَتَصَعَّدُكَ فِي أناتِكَ ،\
   *wa laa yatas'aa'-a'duka feee anaatik*\
   \112.ascend beyond Your lack of haste,

113. وَلا يَؤودُك فِي جَزِيلِ هِباتِكَ الَّتِي دَلَّتْ عَلَيْهَا آيَاتُكَ\
   *wa laa yaw-uduka fee jazeeli hibaatikal-latee dal-lat a'lay-haaa aaayaatuk*\
   \113.or tire You in Your great gifts, which are pointed to by Your signs.

114. إنَّكَ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَاءُ وَتَحكُمُ مَا تُرِيدُ،\
   *in-naka taf-a'lu maa tashaaa- wa tah'-kumu maa tureed*\
   \114.Truly You do what You will, You decree what You desire.

115. إنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء قَدِيرٌ.\
   *in-naka a'laa kul-li shay-in qadeer*\
   \115."You are powerful over everything". (3:26)
