1. اللّهُمّ اجْعَلْ سَعْيِي فِيهِ مَشْكُوراً،\
   *allahumma aj\`al sa\`iy fihi mashkuran*\
   O Allah: on this day, (please) decide my efforts to be praiseworthy,

2. وَذَنْبِي فِيهِ مَغْفُوراً،\
   *wa dhanby fihi maghfuran*\
   And my sins to be forgiven,

3. وَعَمَلِي فِيهِ مَقْبُولاً،\
   *wa \`amaly fihi maqbulan*\
   And my deeds to be accepted,

4. وَعَيْبِي فِيهِ مَسْتُوراً،\
   *wa \`ayby fihi masturan*\
   And my defects to be concealed;

5. يَا أَسْمَعَ السَّامِعِينَ.\
   *ya asma\`a alssami\`ina*\
   O the most Hearing of all those who can hear.

6. سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي‌ يَعْلَمُ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ\
   “Glory be to God who knows everything that is in the heavens and the earth.

7. ما يَكُونُ مِنْ نَجْوى‌ ثَلاثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رابِعُهُمْ وَ لا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سادِسُهُمْ\
   There is no three person conversation in which He is not the fourth party. There is no five person conversation in which He is not the sixth person.

8. وَ لا أَدْنى‌ مِنْ ذلِكَ وَ لا أَكْثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَ ما كانُوا ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِما عَمِلُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ عَلِيمٌ‌\
   There are no conversations in between any number of people in which He is not involved – as many as they may be He shall let them know what they did on the Resurrection Day as God is Aware of all things.

9. سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بَارِئِ النَّسَمِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْمُصَوِّرِ\
   Glory be to God, the Creator of the breath of life! Glory be to God, the Bestower of Forms!

10. سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ خَالِقِ الْأَزْوَاجِ كُلِّهَا سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ جَاعِلِ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَ النُّورِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ فَالِقِ الْحَبِّ وَ النَّوَى\
   Glory be to God who created all the pairs, male and female! Glory be to God who fixed the darkness and light! Glory be to God who splits grains and seeds!

11. سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ خَالِقِ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَى وَ مَا لَا يُرَى\
   Glory be to God, the Creator of all things! Glory be to God, the Creator of the seen and the unseen!

12. سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ‌ سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‌.\
   Glory be to God to the Extent of His Words! Glory be to God, the Lord of the worlds!

13. سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‌\
   Glory be to God, the Lord of the worlds!”

14. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ مُحِبّاً لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ مُعَادِياً لِأَعْدَائِكَ مُسْتَنّاً \[مُتَمَسِّكاً\] بِسُنَّةِ خَاتَمِ أَنْبِيَائِكَ يَا عَاصِمَ قُلُوبِ النَّبِيِّينَ \[يَا عَظِيماً فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ‌\] بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

15. رَبَّنا لا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنا وَ هَبْ لَنا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ‌\
   “Our Lord!‟ (they say), „Let not our hearts deviate now after You have guided us, but grant us mercy from Your own Presence; for You are the Grantor of bounties without measure.‟2

16. رَبَّنا إِنَّنا سَمِعْنا مُنادِياً يُنادِي لِلْإِيمانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا\
   „Our Lord! We have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, „Believe you in the Lord,‟ and we have believed.

17. رَبَّنا فَاغْفِرْ لَنا ذُنُوبَنا وَ كَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئاتِنا وَ تَوَفَّنا مَعَ الْأَبْرارِ\
   Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Yourself our souls in the company of the righteous.

18. رَبَّنا وَ آتِنا ما وَعَدْتَنا عَلى‌ رُسُلِكَ وَ لا تُخْزِنا يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ إِنَّكَ لا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعادَ\
   Our Lord! Grant us what You did promise to us through Your apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For You never break Your promise.‟3

19. رَبَّنا لا تُؤاخِذْنا إِنْ نَسِينا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنا\
   “Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord!

20. رَبَّنا وَ لا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنا إِصْراً كَما حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنا\
   Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us;

21. رَبَّنا وَ لا تُحَمِّلْنا ما لا طاقَةَ لَنا بِهِ وَ اعْفُ عَنَّا وَ اغْفِرْ لَنا وَ ارْحَمْنا أَنْتَ مَوْلانا فَانْصُرْنا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكافِرِينَ‌\
   Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith.‟ ”4

22. صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   Bless Muhammad and His household

23. وَ اسْتَجِبْ دُعَاءَنَا وَ اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَ لِوَالِدَيْنَا \[وَ وَالِدَيَ‌\] وَ وَالِدِ وَالِدَيْنَا وَ مَا وَلَدَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ\
   Accept our prayers forgive us &an our parents and grandparents You are most merciful

24. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا مَنْ قَضَى سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقاً فِي يَوْمَيْنِ\
   O Allah, I ask You, O He who decreed the seven heavens in two days,

25. وَ أَوْحى‌ فِي كُلِّ سَماءٍ أَمْرَها\
   and revealed in every heaven its command,

26. يَا مَنْ‌ يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ما قَنَطُوا\
   O He who sends down the rain after despair

27. وَ يَنْشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُ وَ هُوَ الْوَلِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ\
   and spreads His mercy, and He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy.

28. يَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّ عِبَادِهِ وَ نَجْوَاهُمْ\
   O He who knows the secret of His servants and their whisper,

29. وَ رُسُلُهُ‌ لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ‌\
   and His messengers among them write down.

30. يَا مَنْ‌ لَهُ الْكِبْرِياءُ فِي السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ\
   O He to whom belongs greatness in the heavens and the earth,

31. وَ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ‌\
   and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

32. يَا مَنْ‌ يُحْيِي وَ يُمِيتُ‌\
   O He who gives life and causes death,

33. رَبُّنَا وَ رَبُّ آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ\
   our Lord and the Lord of our ancient fathers.

34. يَا مَنْ أَهْلَكَ الْقُرَى وَ صَرَّفَ الْآيَاتِ‌\
   O He who destroyed towns and varied the signs,

35. لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ‌\
   perhaps they would return.

36. يَا مَنْ رَضِيَ‌ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   O He who was pleased with the believers

37. إِذْ يُبايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ \[يُبَايِعُونَ رَسُولَهُ‌\]\
   when they pledged allegiance under the tree,

38. فَعَلِمَ ما فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ\
   knew what was in their hearts,

39. فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ\
   so He sent down tranquility upon them

40. وَ أَثابَهُمْ فَتْحاً قَرِيباً\
   and rewarded them with an imminent victory.

41. يَا مَنْ‌ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدى‌ وَ دِينِ الْحَقِّ\
   O He who sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth

42. لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَ كَفى‌ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيداً\
   to make it prevail over all religion, and sufficient is Allah as a witness.

43. أَسْأَلُكَ‌ يَا إِلَهِي بِمَا مَدَحْتُكَ بِهِ\
   I ask You, O my God, by praising You,

44. أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى خِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ\
   to bless Your chosen one from Your creation

45. وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الْأَطْهَارِ الْأَخْيَارِ\
   and his pure and noble family,

46. وَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِمْ وَ صَدَّقَهُمْ\
   and those who believed in them, verified them,

47. وَ عَمِلَ بِطَاعَتِهِمْ\
   and acted in obedience to them.

48. وَ أَنْ تَتَعَطَّفَ عَلَيَّ بِبَرَكَاتِكَ\
   And to be kind to me with Your blessings,

49. وَ تُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ وَ فَضْلِكَ\
   expand my provision and grace from You,

50. وَ تُتِمَّ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَتَكَ وَ تُهَنِّئَنِي بِكَرَامَتِكَ\
   complete Your favors upon me, delight me with Your nobility,

51. وَ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ لَكَ\
   make me among those who are grateful to You.

52. وَ هَوَايَ إِلَيْكَ وَ حَسْبِي\
   My desire is towards You, You are sufficient for me,

53. وَ تَوَكُّلِي عَلَيْكَ وَ ذُلِّي لَكَ\
   my trust is in You, my submission is to You,

54. وَ خُضُوعِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَ حَوَائِجِي كُلَّهَا إِلَيْكَ\
   all my needs are towards You,

55. وَ مَقْضِيَّةً عِنْدَكَ\
   decided by You,

56. وَ لَدَيْكَ فَلَا مَلْجَأَ وَ لَا مَنْجَى\
   with You there is no refuge, no escape,

57. وَ لَا مُلْتَجَأَ مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ\
   no shelter except towards You.

58. وَ أَنْ تُتِمَّ إِحْسَانَكَ إِلَيَّ بِفَكِّ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ\
   And to complete Your kindness towards me by freeing my neck from the Fire

59. وَ أَنْ تَحْشُرَنِي مَعَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ الْأَخْيَارِ الْأَبْرَارِ\
   and gathering me with the family of Your Prophet, the best and the virtuous.

60. إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَ هُوَ عِنْدَكَ يَسِيرٌ\
   Indeed, You are capable of everything and it is easy for You.

61. وَ أَنَا إِلَى إِحْسَانِكَ فَقِيرٌ\
   I am in need of Your goodness,

62. وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.\
   and may Allah's blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his pure family

63. يَا جَاعِلَ اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ آيَتَيْنِ يَا مَاحِيَ\
   *Ja‘ila al-layli wa al-nahāri āyatayn yā māḥiya*\
   O You who made night and day two signs, O Eraser

64. آيَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَ جَاعِلَ آيَةِ النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً\
   *Āyati al-layli wa jā‘ila āyati al-nahāri mubṣiratan*\
   Of night’s sign and maker of day’s sign illuminating

65. لِنَبْتَغِيَ فَضْلًا مِنْهُ وَ رِضْوَاناً يَا مُفَصِّلَ\
   *Linabtaghiya faḍlan minhu wa riḍwānan yā mufaṣṣila*\
   So we seek His bounty and satisfaction, O Detailer

66. كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ تَفْصِيلًا يَا مَانِعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ‌ أَنْ\
   *Kulli shay’in tafṣīlan yā māni‘a al-samāwāti an*\
   Of all things distinctly, O Preventer of the heavens

67. تَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ‌ وَ حَافِظَهُمَا\
   *Taqa‘a ‘alā al-arḍi illā bi-idhnihi wa ḥāfiẓahumā*\
   From falling on earth except by His permission, Preserver

68. أَنْ تَزُولا وَ لَئِنْ زالَتا إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُما\
   *An tazūlā wa la’in zālatā in amsakahumā*\
   From vanishing, and if they vanish, none holds them

69. مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ إِنَّهُ كانَ حَلِيماً غَفُوراً\
   *Min aḥadin min ba‘dihi innahu kāna ḥalīman ghafūran*\
   After Him, indeed He is Forbearing and Forgiving

70. يَا اللَّهُ يَا وَاحِدُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا أَحَدُ\
   *Yā Allāhu yā wāḥidu yā Allāhu yā aḥadu*\
   O Allah, O One, O Allah, O Unique

71. يَا اللَّهُ يَا صَمَدُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا وَهَّابُ\
   *Yā Allāhu yā ṣamadu yā Allāhu yā wahhābu*\
   O Allah, O Eternal, O Allah, O Bestower

72. يَا اللَّهُ يَا جَوَاداً لَا يَبْخَلُ يَا اللَّهُ\
   *Yā Allāhu yā jawādan lā yabkhalu yā Allāhu*\
   O Allah, O Generous who never withholds, O Allah

73. لَكَ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى وَ الْأَمْثَالُ الْعُلْيَا\
   *Laka al-asmā’u al-ḥusnā wa al-amthālu al-‘ulyā*\
   Yours are the Most Beautiful Names and highest examples

74. وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَ الْآلَاءُ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنَفَةً عَنِ\
   *Wa al-kibriyā’u wa al-ālā’u as’aluka anafatan ‘an*\
   And grandeur and blessings, I ask You detachment from

75. الدُّنْيَا وَ بُغْضاً لِأَهْلِهَا فَإِنَّ خَيْرَهَا زَهِيدٌ\
   *Al-dunyā wa bughḍan li-ahlihā fa-inna khayrahā zahīdun*\
   The world and disdain for its people, its good is trivial

76. وَ شَرَّهَا عَتِيدٌ وَ جَمْعَهَا يَنْفَدُ وَ صَفْوَهَا\
   *Wa sharrahā ‘atīdun wa jam‘uhā yanfadu wa ṣafwuhā*\
   Its evil is ready, its wealth depletes, its purity

77. يَرْنَقُ وَ جَدِيدَهَا يَخْلُقُ وَ خَيْرَهَا يَتَكَدَّرُ\
   *Yarnaqu wa jadīduhā yakhlAqu wa khayruhā yatakaddaru*\
   Tarnishes, its new wears out, its good clouds

78. مَا فَاتَ مِنْهَا حَسْرَةٌ وَ مَا أُصِيبَ\
   *Mā fāta minhā ḥasratun wa mā uṣība*\
   What’s lost from it is regret, what’s gained

79. مِنْهَا فِتْنَةٌ إِلَّا مَا نَالَتْهُ مِنْهُ عِصْمَةٌ\
   *Minhā fitnatun illā mā nālathu minhu ‘iṣmatun*\
   From it is trial, except what attains protection

80. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعِصْمَةَ مِنْهَا وَ أَلَّا\
   *Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-‘iṣmata minhā wa allā*\
   O Allah, I ask You protection from it and not

81. تَجْعَلَنِي كَمَنِ اطْمَأَنَّ إِلَيْهَا وَ أَخْلَدَ إِلَيْهَا\
   *Taj‘alanī kaman iṭma’anna ilayhā wa akhlada ilayhā*\
   To make me like those content and clinging to it

82. وَ اتَّبَعَ هَواهُ‌ إِلَهِي وَ سَيِّدِي كَمْ لِي\
   *Wa ittaba‘a hawāhu ilāhī wa sayyidī kam lī*\
   And following desires, my God and Master, how many

83. مِنْ ذَنْبٍ بَعْدَ ذَنْبٍ وَ سَرَفٍ بَعْدَ سَرَفٍ\
   *Min dhanbin ba‘da dhanbin wa sarafin ba‘da sarafin*\
   Sins after sins and excesses after excesses I have

84. سَتَرْتَهُ يَا رَبِّ وَ لَمْ تَكْشِفْ سِتْرَكَ عَنِّي\
   *Satartahu yā Rabbi wa lam takshif sitraka ‘annī*\
   You concealed, O Lord, without lifting Your veil from me

85. بَلْ سَتَرْتَ الْعَوْرَةَ وَ كَثُرَتْ مِنِّي الْإِسَاءَةُ\
   *Bal satarta al-‘awrata wa kathurat minnī al-isā’atu*\
   Rather, You covered my flaws despite my many offenses

86. وَ عَظُمَ حِلْمُكَ عَنِّي حَتَّى خِفْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ\
   *Wa ‘aẓuma ḥilmuka ‘annī ḥattā khiftu an akūna*\
   Your forbearance toward me grew until I feared I might

87. مُسْتَدْرَجاً إِلَهِي وَ سَيِّدِي هَذِهِ يَدِي وَ نَاصِيَتِي\
   *Mustadrajā ilāhī wa sayyidī hādhihi yadī wa nāṣiyatī*\
   Be ensnared, my God and Master, here’s my hand

88. بِيَدِكَ مُقِرٌّ بِذَنْبِي مُعْتَرِفٌ بِخَطِيئَتِي\
   *Biyadika muqirrun bi-dhanbī mu‘tarifun bi-khaṭī’atī*\
   My forelock in Your hand, confessing my sin and error

89. فَإِنْ تَعْفُ فَرُبَّمَا عَفَوْتَ وَ صَفَحْتَ وَ أَحْسَنْتَ\
   *Fa-in ta‘fu farubbamā ‘afawta wa ṣafaḥta wa aḥsanta*\
   If You pardon, perhaps You’ll forgive, overlook, and show kindness

90. فَتَفَضَّلْتَ وَ إِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِي فَبِمَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَايَ\
   *Fatafaḍḍalta wa in tu‘adhdhibnī fabimā qaddamat yadāya*\
   Bestowing favor, or punish me for what my hands sent

91. وَ مَا أَنْتَ‌ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي\
   *Wa mā anta bi-ẓallāmin lil-‘abīdi Allāhumma innī*\
   You’re not unjust to servants, O Allah, I

92. أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *As’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin*\
   Ask You to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

93. يَا مَالِكَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ يَا مَنْ لَهُ\
   *Yā mālik al-dunyā wa al-ākhirati yā man lahu*\
   O Owner of this world and Hereafter, O You who

94. السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ الْأَرْضُ يَا مَنْ‌ لَهُ الْخَلْقُ\
   *Al-samāwātu wa al-arḍu yā man lahu al-khalqu*\
   Owns the heavens and earth, O You who owns creation

95. وَ الْأَمْرُ يَا مَنْ بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ\
   *Wa al-amru yā man biyadihi malakūtu kulli shay’in*\
   And command, O You in whose hand is dominion

96. يَا مَنْ‌ يُجِيرُ وَ لا يُجارُ عَلَيْهِ‌ أَسْأَلُكَ\
   *Yā man yujīru wa lā yujāru ‘alayhi as’aluka*\
   O You who grants refuge, none against Him, I ask

97. فِي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ بِجَاهِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *Fī hādhihi al-sā‘ati bijāhi Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin*\
   In this hour by the honor of Muhammad and his family

98. أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ\
   *An tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa*\
   To bless Muhammad and his family and

99. أَنْ تُجِيرَنِي مِنَ النَّارِ فِي يَوْمِ الدِّينِ\
   *An tujīranī mina al-nāri fī yawmi al-dīni*\
   To shield me from the Fire on Judgment Day

100. يَوْمَ يُحْشَرُ الظَّالِمُونَ‌ يَوْمَ لا يَنْفَعُ مالٌ\
   *Yawma yuḥsharu al-ẓālimūna yawma lā yanfa‘u mālun*\
   When wrongdoers are gathered, when wealth will not avail

101. وَ لا بَنُونَ‌ إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ\
   *Wa lā banūna illā man atā Allāha bi-qalbin*\
   Nor sons, except who comes to Allah with a

102. سَلِيمٍ‌ اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْحَسَدِ وَ\
   *Salīmin Allāhumma sallim qalbī mina al-ḥasadi wa*\
   Sound heart, O Allah, purify my heart from envy

103. الْبَغْيِ وَ الْكِبْرِ وَ الْعُجْبِ وَ الرِّيَاءِ\
   *Al-baghī wa al-kibri wa al-‘ujbi wa al-riyā’i*\
   And oppression, pride, arrogance, and hypocrisy

104. وَ النِّفَاقِ وَ سُوءِ الْأَخْلَاقِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي\
   *Wa al-nifāqi wa sū’i al-akhlāqi Allāhumma innī*\
   And duplicity and bad character, O Allah, I

105. أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غِنًى يُطْغِي وَ مِنْ فَقْرٍ\
   *A‘ūdhu bika min ghinan yuṭghī wa min faqrin*\
   Seek refuge with You from corrupting wealth and poverty

106. يُنْسِي وَ مِنْ جَارٍ يُؤْذِي وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ\
   *Yunsī wa min jārin yu’dhī wa a‘ūdhu bika*\
   That forgets, a harmful neighbor, I seek refuge

107. مِنْ فَضَائِحِ الْفَقْرِ وَ مِنْ مَذَلَّةِ الدِّينِ\
   *Min faḍā’iḥi al-faqri wa min madhallati al-dīni*\
   From poverty’s scandals and the humiliation of debt

108. وَ مِنْ شَمَاتَةِ الْعَدُوِّ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ\
   *Wa min shamātati al-‘aduwwi Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu*\
   And enemies’ gloating, O Allah, I seek refuge

109. بِكَ مِنْ مَوْقِفٍ يُعْرِضُ فِيهِ الصَّدِيقُ وَ يَشْمَتُ\
   *Bika min mawqifin yu‘riḍu fīhi al-ṣadīqu wa yashmatu*\
   With You from a situation where a friend turns away

110. بِي فِيهِ الْعَدُوُّ وَ يَرْحَمُنِي فِيهِ الْحَمِيمُ\
   *Bī fīhi al-‘aduwwu wa yarḥamunī fīhi al-ḥamīmu*\
   An enemy gloats, a close one pities me

111. وَ تَزْدَرِينِي فِيهِ الْعُيُونُ وَ تَسُوءُنِي فِيهِ\
   *Wa tazdarinī fīhi al-‘uyūnu wa tasū’unī fīhi*\
   Eyes despise me, and suspicions about me worsen

112. الظُّنُونُ وَ أَعُوذُ يَا رَبِّ أَنْ أُعَادِيَ\
   *Al-ẓunūnu wa a‘ūdhu yā Rabbi an u‘ādiya*\
   O Lord, I seek refuge from opposing a friend

113. لَكَ وَلِيّاً أَوْ أُوَالِيَ لَكَ عَدُوّاً أَوْ\
   *Laka waliyyan aw uwāliya laka ‘aduwwan aw*\
   Of Yours or befriending Your enemy, or

114. أَقُولَ لِحَقٍّ هَذَا بَاطِلٌ أَوْ أَقُولَ لِبَاطِلٍ\
   *Aqūla li-ḥaqqin hādhā bāṭilun aw aqūla li-bāṭilin*\
   Calling truth false or falsehood truth

115. هَذَا حَقٌّ أَوْ أَقُولَ‌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هؤُلاءِ\
   *Hādhā ḥaqqun aw aqūla lilladhīna kafarū hā’ulā’i*\
   Or saying disbelievers are more guided than

116. أَهْدى‌ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا سَبِيلًا اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي\
   *Ahdā mina al-ladhīna āmanū sabīlan Allāhumma sallimnī*\
   Believers in path, O Allah, save me

117. وَ سَلِّمْ لِي دِينِي وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ\
   *Wa sallim lī dīnī wa a‘innī ‘alā ṭā‘atika*\
   Safeguard my religion and help me obey You

118. وَ وَفِّقْنِي لِمَرْضَاتِكَ وَ اجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنْ يَعْتَصِمُ\
   *Wa waffiqnī li-marḍātika wa ij‘alnī mimman ya‘taṣimu*\
   Guide me to Your pleasure, make me hold fast

119. بِحَبْلِكَ وَ مِمَّنْ يُحِلُّ حَلَالَكَ وَ يُحَرِّمُ\
   *Bi-ḥablika wa mimman yuḥillu ḥalālaka wa yuḥarrimu*\
   To Your rope, permitting Your lawful, forbidding

120. حَرَامَكَ وَ يُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَ يَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ\
   *Ḥarāmaka wa yu’minu bika wa yatawakkalu ‘alayka*\
   Your unlawful, believing in You, relying on You

121. وَ يَرُدُّ أُمُورَهُ كُلَّهَا إِلَيْكَ وَ فَوَّضْتُ\
   *Wa yaruddu umūrahu kullahā ilayka wa fawwaḍtu*\
   Entrusting all affairs to You, I’ve entrusted

122. أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ وَ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَ أَلْجَأْتُ\
   *Amrī ilayka wa aslamtu nafsī wa alja’tu*\
   My affairs to You, surrendered myself, sought

123. ظَهْرِي فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي وَ لَا\
   *Ẓahrī falā takilnī ilā nafsī wa lā*\
   Your support, don’t leave me to myself nor

124. إِلَى مَخْلُوقٍ وَ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَ لَا تُسَلِّطْ\
   *Ilā makhlūqin wa anta khalaqtanī wa lā tusalliṭ*\
   To any creature, You created me, don’t empower

125. عَلَيَّ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُنِي وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنِي\
   *‘Alayya man lā yarḥamunī wa lā taj‘alnī*\
   Over me one without mercy, nor make me

126. عِظَةً لِغَيْرِي وَ خِرْ لِي وَ اخْتَرْ لِي\
   *‘Iẓatan li-ghayrī wa khir lī wa ikhtar lī*\
   A lesson for others, choose and select for me

127. فِي جَمِيعِ أُمُورِي خِيَرَةً فِي عَافِيَةٍ\
   *Fī jamī‘i umūrī khīratan fī ‘āfiyatin*\
   In all my affairs the best choice in well-being

128. وَ سَهِّلْ عَلَيَّ أُمُورَ دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي\
   *Wa sahhil ‘alayya umūra dunyāya wa ākhiratī*\
   Ease my worldly and hereafter affairs

129. إِلَهِي وَ سَيِّدِي عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ\
   *Ilāhī wa sayyidī ‘abduka wa ibnu ‘abdika*\
   My God and Master, Your servant and son

130. يَسْأَلُكَ وَ يَتَضَرَّعُ إِلَيْكَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ\
   *Yas’aluka wa yataḍarra‘u ilayka as’aluka an*\
   Asks and implores You, I ask You to

131. تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ\
   *Tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa an*\
   Bless Muhammad and his family and to

132. تُعِينَنِي عَلَى جِهَادِ نَفْسِي وَ تُبْ عَلَيَّ\
   *Tu‘īnanī ‘alā jihādi nafsī wa tub ‘alayya*\
   Aid me in struggling against myself and accept my

133. وَ اعْصِمْنِي فَإِنِّي فَقِيرٌ إِلَيْكَ فَأَغْنِ\
   *Wa a‘ṣimnī fa-innī faqīrun ilayka fa-aghnī*\
   Repentance, protect me, I’m needy to You, enrich

134. فَقْرِي رَبِّ هَبْ لِي تَوْبَةً نَصُوحاً وَ\
   *Faqrī Rabbi hab lī tawbatan naṣūḥan wa*\
   My poverty, O Lord, grant me sincere repentance

135. نِيَّةً صَادِقَةً وَ مُكْتَسَباً حَلَالًا وَ عَمَلًا\
   *Niyyatan ṣādiqatan wa muktasaban ḥalālan wa ‘amalan*\
   And true intention, lawful earnings, and accepted deeds

136. مُتَقَبَّلًا وَ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ الْجَهْلِ وَ النَّارِ\
   *Mutaqabbalan wa ajirnī mina al-jahli wa al-nāri*\
   And save me from ignorance and the Fire

137. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَ الْعَافِيَةَ\
   *Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-‘afwa wa al-‘āfiyata*\
   O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being

138. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَيْتُكَ هَارِباً مِنْ ذُنُوبِي\
   *Allāhumma innī ataytuka hāriban min dhunūbī*\
   O Allah, I come fleeing from my sins

139. تَائِباً وَ لِمَغْفِرَتِكَ طَالِباً وَ إِلَيْكَ رَاغِباً\
   *Tā’iban wa li-maghfiratika tāliban wa ilayka rāghiban*\
   Repentant, seeking Your forgiveness and desiring You

140. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْ\
   *Faṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa ighfir*\
   Bless Muhammad and his family and forgive

141. لِي وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ اعْصِمْنِي وَ تُبْ عَلَيَ‌\
   *Lī wa irḥamnī wa a‘ṣimnī wa tub ‘alayya*\
   Me, have mercy, protect me, accept my repentance

142. إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ‌ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ\
   *Innaka anta al-tawwābu al-raḥīmu wa ṣallā Allāhu*\
   You are the Accepter, the Merciful, and Allah bless

143. عَلَى رَسُولِهِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ\
   *‘Alā rasūlihi sayyidinā Muḥammadin al-nabiyyi wa ālihi Wa sallama*\
   His Messenger, our master Muhammad the Prophet, his family And grant peace

144. يَا جَاعِلَ ٱللَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ آيَتَيْنِ\
   *ya ja\`ila allayli walnnahari ayatayni*\
   O Maker of night and daylight two portents!

145. يَا مَنْ مَحَا آيَةَ ٱللَّيْلِ\
   *ya man maha ayata allayli*\
   O He Who makes dark the portent of night

146. وَجَعَلَ آيَةَ ٱلنَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً\
   *wa ja\`ala ayata alnnahari mubsiratan*\
   and makes the portent of the daylight sight-giving

147. لِتَبْتَغُوٱ فَضْلاً مِنْهُ وَرِضْوَاناً\
   *litabtaghu fadlan minhu wa ridwanan*\
   so that you may seek favor and pleasure from Him!

148. يَا مُفَصِّلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ تَفْصِيلاً\
   *ya mufassila kulli shay'in tafsilan*\
   O He Who expounds everything with clear expounding!

149. يَا مَاجِدُ يَا وَهَّابُ\
   *ya majidu ya wahhabu*\
   O All-glorious! O All-donor!

150. يَا اللَّهُ يَا جَوَادُ\
   *ya allahu ya jawadu*\
   O Allah! O All-magnanimous!

151. يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ يَا اللَّهُ\
   *ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu*\
   O Allah! O Allah! O Allah!

152. لَكَ ٱلاسْمَاءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ\
   *laka al-asma'u alhusna*\
   To You are the Most Excellent Names,

153. وَٱلامْثَالُ ٱلْعُلْيَا\
   *wal-amthalu al\`ulya*\
   the most elevated examples,

154. وَٱلْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَٱلآلاَءُ\
   *walkibriya’u wal-ala'u*\
   greatness, and bounties.

155. اسْالُكَ انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *as'aluka an tusalliya \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

156. وَانْ تَجْعَلَ ٱسْمِي فِي هٰذِهِ ٱللَّيْلَةِ فِي ٱلسُّعَدَاءِ\
   *wa an taj\`ala ismi fi hadhihi allaylati fi alssu\`ada'i*\
   include my name with the list of the happiest ones,

157. وَرُوحِي مَعَ ٱلشُّهَدَاءِ\
   *wa ruhi ma\`a alshshuhada'i*\
   add my soul to the martyrs,

158. وَإِحْسَانِي فِي عِلِّيِّينَ\
   *wa ihsani fi \`illiyyina*\
   record my good deeds in the most exalted rank,

159. وَإِسَاءَتِي مَغْفُورَةً\
   *wa isa'ati maghfuratan*\
   decide my offense to be forgiven,

160. وَانْ تَهَبَ لِي يَقِيناً تُبَاشِرُ بِهِ قَلْبِي\
   *wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi*\
   grant me certitude that fills in my heart

161. وَإِيـمَاناً يُذْهِبُ ٱلشَّكَّ عَنِّي\
   *wa imanan yudhhibu alshshakka \`anni*\
   and faith that removes doubt from me,

162. وَتُرْضِيَنِي بِمَا قَسَمْتَ لِي\
   *wa turdiyani bima qasamta li*\
   make me feel satisfied with that which You decide for me,

163. وَآتِنَا فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً\
   *wa atina fi alddunya hasanatan*\
   grant us reward in this world

164. وَفِي ٱلآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً\
   *wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan*\
   and reward in the Hereafter,

165. وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلْحَرِيقِ\
   *wa qina \`adhaba alnnari alhariqi*\
   save us from the torment of the burning Fire,

166. وَٱرْزُقْنِي فِيهَا ذِكْرَكَ وَشُكْرَكَ وَٱلرَّغْبَةَ إِلَيْكَ\
   *warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka walrraghbata ilayka*\
   and confer upon us at this night Your mentioning, thanking You, desiring for You,

167. وَٱلإِنَابَةَ وَٱلتَّوْفِيقَ لِمَا وَفَّقْتَ لَهُ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ\
   *wal-inabata walttawfiqa lima waffaqta lahu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin \`alayhi wa \`alayhimu alssalamu*\
   turning to You, and success to that to which You led Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them.
