1. اللّهُمّ اجْعَلْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ المُتَوَكّلِينَ عَلَيْكَ،\
   *allahumma aj\`alny fihi mina almutawakkilina \`alayka*\
   O Allah: on this day, (please) include me with those who rely upon You,

2. وَاجْعَلْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ الفَائِزِينَ لَدَيْكَ،\
   *waj\`alny fihi mina alfa’izina ladayka*\
   And include me on this day with those who win with You,

3. وَاجْعَلْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ المُقَرّبِينَ إِلَيْكَ،\
   *waj\`alny fihi mina almuqarrabina ilayka*\
   And include me on this day with those drawn near to You;

4. بِإِحْسَانِكَ يَا غَايَةَ الطَّالِبِينَ.\
   *biihsanika ya ghaiyata alttalibina*\
   Out of Your beneficence; O the ultimate goal of the seekers.

5. اللَّهُمَّ يَا سَلَامُ يَا مُؤْمِنُ يَا مُهَيْمِنُ\
   “O‟ my God! O‟ Peace! O‟ Available! O‟ Guardian!

6. يَا جَبَّارُ يَا مُتَكَبِّرُ\
   O‟ Compeller! O‟ Proud!

7. يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ يَا وَاحِدُ يَا فَرْدُ\
   O‟ the One! O‟ Eternal, Absolute! O‟ Only! O‟ the One!

8. يَا غَفُورُ يَا رَحِيمُ\
   O‟ the All-Forgiving! O‟ Merciful!

9. يَا وَدُودُ يَا حَلِيمُ\
   O‟ Affectionate! O‟ the Forbearing!

10. مَضَى مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الْمُبَارَكِ الثُّلُثُ\
   O‟ my Master! A third of the month of Ramadhan has passed

11. وَ لَسْتُ أَدْرِي سَيِّدِي مَا صَنَعْتَ فِي حَاجَتِي\
   but I still do not know what You have done regarding my demands.

12. هَلْ غَفَرْتَ لِي ?\
   Did You forgive me?

13. إِنْ أَنْتَ غَفَرْتَ لِي فَطُوبَى لِي\
   Blessed be me if You forgave me,

14. وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ غَفَرْتَ لِي فَوَا سَوْأَتَاهْ‌\
   and woe be upon me if You did not.

15. فَمِنَ الْآنَ سَيِّدِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ تُبْ عَلَيَّ\
   O‟ my Master! Then please forgive me and have Mercy on me just now.

16. وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي وَ أَقِلْنِي عَثْرَتِي وَ اسْتُرْنِي بِسِتْرِكَ\
   Please turn to me, do not leave me helpless, overlook my slippage, and give me coverage with your cover.

17. وَ اعْفُ عَنِّي بِعَفْوِكَ وَ ارْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ\
   Pardon me with Your Forgiveness, have mercy on me with Your Mercy,

18. وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي بِقُدْرَتِكَ\
   and overlook my case with Your Power

19. إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَ لَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ\
   since You Decree and no one can decree for You.

20. وَ أَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ\
   And You have Power over all things.”

21. اللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ بَطْشُهُ شَدِيدٌ وَ عَفْوُهُ قَدِيمٌ وَ مُلْكُهُ مُسْتَقِيمٌ وَ لُطْفُهُ شَدِيدٌ\
   “O‟ my God! O‟ He whose Assault is Mighty, whose Forgiveness is Eternal, whose Authority is Firm, and whose Kindness is great!

22. يَا مَنْ سَتَرَ عَلَيَّ الْقَبِيحَ وَ ظَهَرَ بِالْجَمِيلِ\
   O‟ He who covers up my awful deeds and reveals beautiful deeds!

23. وَ لَمْ يُعَجِّلْ بِالْعُقُوبَةِ وَ يَا مَنْ أَذِنَ لِلْعِبَادِ بِالتَّوْبَةِ\
   He does not rush to punish! O‟ He who permitted Your servants to repent!

24. يَا مَنْ لَمْ يَهْتِكِ السِّتْرَ لَدَى \[لِذِي‌\] الْفَضِيحَةِ يَا مَنْ لَا يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي غَدٍ غَيْرُهُ\
   O‟ He who does not divulge secrets of scandals! O‟ He other than whom no one knows what is in the future!

25. \[وَ\] يَا جَابِرَ كُلِّ كَسِيرٍ يَا مَأْوَى كُلِّ هَارِبٍ\
   O‟ He who mends all that is broken! O‟ He who is the Shelter of all who flee!

26. يَا غَاذِيَ مَا فِي بُطُونِ الْأُمَّهَاتِ\
   O‟ He who feeds what is in the wombs of mothers!

27. يَا سَيِّدِي أَنْتَ لِي فِي كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ نَزَلَتْ بِي صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   O‟ my Master! You are He who fulfills all my needs that come up. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (a).

28. وَ اكْفِنِي مَا أَهَمَّنِي وَ ارْزُقْنِي مِنْ رِزْقِكَ الْوَاسِعِ رِزْقاً حَلَالًا طَيِّباً\
   Please take care of my affairs and bless me with Your Abundant, Pure and Legitimate Sustenance.

29. يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ \[اسْتَغَثْتُ‌\] فُكَّ أَسْرِي وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَ لَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.\
   O‟ the Living! O‟ the Eternal! I seek help from Your Mercy. So please release me from slavery. Please improve all my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for the twinkling of an eye for as long as I live by Your Mercy – O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”

30. يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ وَ يَا أَوْسَعَ مَنْ أَعْطَى\
   O the Best of those asked! O the Most Benevolent who bestows more than all who bestow!

31. وَ يَا خَيْرَ مُرْتَجًى\
   O the best hope!

32. صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

33. وَ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ افْتَحْ لِي بَابَ رِزْقٍ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ\
   and extend my means of livelihood out of Your Nobility. Please open the path to my sustenance from You

34. إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ\
   as You have power over all things

35. وَ تَقَبَّلْ صَوْمِي وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ\
   Please accept my fasting and praying and favor me

36. اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَ الْبَرَكَاتِ\
   O Lord of the month of Ramadhan, and whatever of the Quran and blessings You sent down during it

37. أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

38. وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي حُبَّ الصَّلَاةِ وَ الصِّيَامِ وَ الْحَجِّ وَ الْعُمْرَةِ وَ صِلَةِ الرَّحِمِ\
   and bless me with the love for prayer, fasting, Hajj, Umrah and visiting my relatives

39. وَ تُحَبِّبَ إِلَيَّ كُلَّ مَا أَحْبَبْتَ وَ تُبَغِّضَ إِلَيَّ كُلَّ مَا أَبْغَضْتَ\
   loving what You Love and despising what You dislike

40. اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَكَفَّلْتَ بِرِزْقِي وَ رِزْقِ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ\
   O my God! You have guaranteed my sustenance and that of all animals

41. يَا خَيْرَ مَدْعُوٍّ وَ يَا خَيْرَ مَسْئُولٍ وَ يَا خَيْرَ مُرْتَجًى وَ أَوْسَعَ مَنْ أَعْطَى\
   O the best one who is called! O the Best one who is asked! O the best hope! O the Most Benevolent who bestows more than all who bestow!

42. صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ\
   مُحَمَّدٍ Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

43. وَ ارْزُقْنِي السَّعَةَ وَ الدَّعَةَ وَ السَّعَادَةَ فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ الْعَظِيمِ\
   and bless me with abundance, kindness and prosperity in this grand month

44. يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   O the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

45. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْهِ كَفَاهُ\
   Praise be to Allah, the One who suffices those who rely on Him.

46. إِلَهِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَمْ أَشْكُرْ\
   My God, You have bestowed Your favors upon me, yet I did not thank You;

47. وَ بَصَّرْتَنِي فَلَمْ أَتَبَصَّرْ\
   You gave me insight, yet I did not perceive;

48. وَ وَعَيْتَنِي وَ وَعَظْتَنِي وَ رَغَّبْتَنِي فَلَمْ أَذَّكِّرْ\
   You advised me and encouraged me, yet I did not take heed.

49. وَ أَقَلْتَ الْعَثَرَاتِ فَلَمْ أَقْصُرْ\
   You diminished my missteps but I did not desist;

50. وَ سَتَرْتَ الْعَوْرَاتِ فَلَمْ أَسْتُرْ\
   You concealed my flaws, yet I did not conceal them.

51. وَ هَذَا شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ الصِّيَامِ\
   And here is Ramadan, the month of fasting.

52. فَيَا مَنْ عَجَّتْ إِلَيْهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ فِي الْمَحَافِلِ بِصُنُوفِ اللُّغَاتِ\
   O He to whom voices hasten in gatherings in various languages,

53. يَسْأَلُونَكَ الْعَفْوَ بِالمُنَاجَاةِ\
   seeking Your pardon through private conversation.

54. اللَّهُمَّ وَ حَاجَتِيَ الْيَوْمَ إِلَيْكَ عِتْقُ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ\
   O Allah, my need today is the liberation of my neck from the Fire

55. وَ أَنْ تُقِيلَنِي عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنِّي\
   and that You overlook what I have committed.

56. يَا مَلْجَأَ كُلِّ لَاجٍ وَ وَلِيَّ كُلِّ نَاجٍ\
   O Refuge of every refugee and Guardian of every seeker,

57. مَنْ أَحْسَنَ يَا مَوْلَايَ فَبِرَحْمَتِكَ فَازَ\
   those who do well prosper by Your mercy,

58. وَ مَنْ أَسَاءَ فَبِخَطِيئَتِهِ يَهْلِكُ\
   and those who do wrong perish by their sins.

59. يَا إِلَهِي فَلَا تُهْلِكْنِي وَ أَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ\
   My God, do not let me perish when You are my Master

60. وَ مِنْكَ كَانَ رَجَائِي يَا مَلْجَئِي\
   and from You comes my hope, my refuge.

61. إِلَهِي قَدْ يَرْحَمُ عَبْدٌ مَخْلُوقٌ لِمَخْلُوقٍ مِثْلِهِ\
   My God, a created servant may have mercy on another like him;

62. فَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ أَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ وَ خَالِقِي\
   I am Your servant, and You are my Master and Creator,

63. فَارْحَمْنِي يَا إِلَهِي كَمَا رَحِمَ مَخْلُوقٌ لِمَخْلُوقٍ\
   so have mercy on me, O my God, as a created being would have mercy on another.

64. اللَّهُمَّ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ\
   O Allah, I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and his family,

65. وَ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ عَنِّي خَطِيئَتِي وَ تَأْخُذَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ بِنَاصِيَتِي\
   to bear my sins for me, and to guide me to goodness.

66. اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنِي فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا أَفْضَلَ مَا\
   O Allah, grant me on this day the best of what

67. أَعْطَيْتَ أَحَداً مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ\
   You have given to any of Your righteous servants,

68. وَ حُجَّاجَ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ وَ الْمُعْتَمِرِينَ\
   the pilgrims of Your Sacred House, and those performing Umrah,

69. إِنَّكَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   for You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

70. إِلَهِي وَ سَيِّدِي إِنِّي مُثْنٍ أَحْسَنَ الثَّنَاءِ\
   My God and my Master, I am one who praises You with the best of praise,

71. لِأَنَّ بَلَاءَكَ عِنْدِي أَحْسَنُ الْبَلَاءِ\
   for Your trial to me is the best of trials.

72. إِلَهِي كَأَنِّي بِنَفْسِي وَ أَنَا وَاقِفٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ\
   My God, it is as if I see myself standing before You,

73. وَ قَدْ أَظَلَّنِي حُسْنُ التَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْكَ\
   and the goodness of trusting in You has overshadowed me.

74. فَانْظُرْ إِلَيَّ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتِ\
   Look at me with Your mercy at that moment

75. نَظْرَةً أَفُوزُ بِهَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ مَغْفُوراً لِي\
   so that I may be victorious in Your presence, forgiven.

76. اللَّهُمَ‌ وَ هَذَا الدُّعَاءُ الَّذِي أَمَرْتَنَا بِهِ\
   O Allah, this is the prayer You commanded us with,

77. وَ عَلَيْكَ الْإِجَابَةُ كَمَا ضَمِنْتَ\
   and upon You is the response, as You have guaranteed.

78. يَا عَدْلُ يَا وَفِيُّ عَلَيْنَا الْمَسْأَلَةُ وَ عَلَيْكَ الْعَطِيَّةُ\
   O Just, O Faithful, it is upon us to ask, and upon You to grant.

79. وَ هَذَا الطَّلَبُ وَ عَلَيْكَ النَّجَاحُ\
   This is the request, and success is from You;

80. وَ هَذَا الْجَهْدُ وَ عَلَيْكَ التُّكْلَانُ\
   this is the effort, and reliance is upon You,

81. يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   O Most Merciful of the merciful,

82. يَا أَكْرَمَ الْأَكْرَمِينَ يَا مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ\
   O Most Generous of the generous, the ultimate desire of those who desire,

83. وَ الطَّالِبِينَ وَ الْمُنِيبِينَ‌\
   seek, and turn repentantly.

84. إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ\
   Indeed, You are capable of all things,

85. وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.\
   and may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.
