1. اللّهُمّ ارْزُقْنِي فِيهِ الذّهْنَ وَالتّنْبِيهَ،\
   *allahumma arzuqny fihi aldhdhhna wal-ttnbiha*\
   O Allah: on this day, (please) confer upon me with sound mentality and acumen,

2. وَبَاعِدْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ السّفَاهَةِ وَالتّمْوِيهِ،\
   *wa ba\`idny fihi mina alssfahati wal-ttmuihi*\
   And take me away from foolishness and deception,

3. وَاجْعَلْ لِي نَصِيباً مِنْ كُلّ خَيْرٍ تُنْزِلُ فِيهِ،\
   *waj\`al li nasiban min kulli khayrin tunzilu fihi*\
   And decide for me a share from each goodness that You descend on this day,

4. بِجُودِكَ يَا أَجْوَدَ الأَجْوَدِينَ.\
   *bijudika ya ajwada alajwadina*\
   By Your magnanimity; O the most Magnanimous of all those who are magnanimous.

5. يَا إِلَهَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ إِلَهَ إِسْحَاقَ وَ إِلَهَ يَعْقُوبَ وَ الْأَسْبَاطِ\
   O God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob and the Tribes!

6. رَبَّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ الرُّوحِ السَّمِيعَ الْعَلِيمَ الْحَلِيمَ الْكَرِيمَ الْعَلِيَّ الْعَظِيمَ\
   O Lord of the Angels and Spirt! The All-Hearing! The All-Knowing! The Forebearing, the Generous! The Sublime, the Supreme!

7. لَكَ صُمْتُ وَ عَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ\
   O my God! I fasted for You and I break my fast with Your Sustenance.

8. وَ إِلَى كَنَفِكَ آوَيْتُ وَ إِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ وَ إِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ\
   And I rely upon You and to You do I turn in repentance as indeed to You is our Final Goal

9. وَ أَنْتَ الرَّءُوفُ الرَّحِيمُ\
   And You are the Compassionate, the Merciful!

10. قَوِّنِي عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَ الصِّيَامِ\
   Please give me strength to pray and fast

11. وَ لَا تُخْزِنِي‌ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ إِنَّكَ لا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعادَ\
   and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For You never break Your promise

12. يَا مَنْ تُحَلُّ بِهِ عُقَدُ الْمَكَارِهِ\
   *Yā man tuḥallu bihi ʿuqud al-makārih*\
   O You by whom the knots of hardships are untied

13. وَ يَا مَنْ يُفْثَأُ بِهِ حَدُّ الشَّدَائِدِ\
   *Wa yā man yuftha’u bihi ḥaddu al-shadā’id*\
   O You by whom the severity of difficulties is softened

14. وَ يَا مَنْ يُلْتَمَسُ مِنْهُ الْمَخْرَجُ\
   *Wa yā man yultamisu minhu al-makhraj*\
   O You from whom an escape is sought

15. إِلَى رَوْحِ الْفَرَجِ\
   *Ilā rawḥi al-faraj*\
   Towards relief and ease

16. ذَلَّتْ لِقُدْرَتِكَ الصِّعَابُ\
   *Dhallat liqudratika al-ṣiʿāb*\
   Difficulties submit to Your power

17. وَ تَسَبَّبَتْ بِلُطْفِكَ الْأَسْبَابُ\
   *Wa tasabbabat biluṭfika al-asbāb*\
   And means are made possible by Your kindness

18. وَ جَرَى بِطَاعَتِكَ الْقَضَاءُ\
   *Wa jarā biṭāʿatika al-qaḍā’*\
   Destiny flows according to Your obedience

19. وَ مَضَتْ عَلَى إِرَادَتِكَ الْأَشْيَاءُ\
   *Wa maḍat ʿalā irādatika al-ashyā’*\
   And all things proceed according to Your will

20. فَهِيَ بِمَشِيَّتِكَ مُؤْتَمِرَةٌ\
   *Fahiya bimashiyyatika mu’tamirah*\
   Thus, they obey Your command by Your will

21. وَبِإِرَادَتِكَ مُنْزَجِرَةٌ\
   *Wa bi’irādatika munzajirah*\
   And they refrain by Your decree

22. أَنْتَ الْمَدْعُوُّ لِلْمُهِمَّاتِ\
   *Anta al-madʿū lil-muhimmāt*\
   You are the One called upon for critical matters

23. وَ أَنْتَ الْمَفْزَعُ فِي الْمُلِمَّاتِ\
   *Wa anta al-mafzaʿu fī al-mulimāt*\
   And You are the refuge in times of distress

24. لَا يَنْدَفِعُ مِنْهَا إِلَّا مَا دَفَعْتَ\
   *Lā yandafiʿu minhā illā mā dafaʿta*\
   None of it is repelled except by what You repel

25. وَ لَا يَنْكَشِفُ إِلَّا مَا كَشَفْتَ\
   *Wa lā yankashifu illā mā kashafta*\
   And none of it is uncovered except by what You uncover

26. يَا رَبِّ مَا قَدْ تَكَأَّدَنِي ثِقْلُهُ\
   *Yā Rabbī mā qad taka’adanī thiqluhu*\
   O Lord, what has burdened me with its weight

27. وَ أَلَمَّ بِي مَا قَدْ بَهَظَنِي حَمْلُهُ\
   *Wa alamma bī mā qad bahaẓanī ḥamluhu*\
   And what has overwhelmed me with its load

28. وَبِقُدْرَتِكَ أَوْرَدْتَهُ عَلَيَّ\
   *Wa biqudratika awradtahu ʿalayya*\
   By Your power, You have brought it upon me

29. وَبِسُلْطَانِكَ وَجَّهْتَهُ إِلَيَّ\
   *Wa bisulṭānika wajjahtahu ilayya*\
   And by Your authority, You have directed it to me

30. وَ لَا مُصْدِرَ لِمَا أَوْرَدْتَ\
   *Wa lā muṣdira limā awradt*\
   There is no way to release what You have sent

31. وَ لَا مُورِدَ لِمَا أَصْدَرْتَ\
   *Wa lā mūrida limā aṣdart*\
   Nor is there an approach to what You have withdrawn

32. وَ لَا صَارِفَ لِمَا وَجَّهْتَ\
   *Wa lā ṣārifa limā wajjaht*\
   There is none who can turn away what You have directed

33. وَ لَا فَاتِحَ لِمَا أَغْلَقْتَ\
   *Wa lā fātiḥa limā aghlaqta*\
   And no opener for what You have closed

34. وَ لَا مُغْلِقَ لِمَا فَتَحْتَ\
   *Wa lā mughliqa limā fataḥta*\
   And no closer for what You have opened

35. وَ لَا مُيَسِّرَ لِمَا عَسَّرْتَ\
   *Wa lā muyassira limā ʿassarta*\
   And no one can ease what You have made difficult

36. وَ لَا مُعَسِّرَ لِمَا يَسَّرْتَ\
   *Wa lā muʿassira limā yassarta*\
   And no one can make difficult what You have made easy

37. وَ لَا نَاصِرَ لِمَنْ خَذَلْتَ\
   *Wa lā nāṣira liman khadhalta*\
   And there is no helper for the one You forsake

38. وَ لَا خَاذِلَ لِمَنْ نَصَرْتَ\
   *Wa lā khādila liman naṣarta*\
   And no one can forsake whom You have supported

39. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *Faṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad*\
   So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

40. وَ افْتَحْ لِي يَارَبِّ بَابَ الْفَرَجِ بِطَوْلِكَ\
   *Wa iftaḥ lī yā Rabb bāba alfaraji biṭawlik*\
   And open for me, O Lord, the door of relief by Your bounty

41. وَ اكْسِرْ عَنِّي سُلْطَانَ الْهَمِّ بِحَوْلِكَ\
   *Wa ksir ʿannī sulṭāna alhammi biḥawlik*\
   And break the power of sorrow over me by Your might

42. وَ أَنِلْنِي حُسْنَ النَّظَرِ فِيمَا شَكَوْتُ\
   *Wa anilnī ḥusna alnaẓari fīmā shakawt*\
   And grant me good perception regarding what I have complained of

43. وَ أَذِقْنِي حَلَاوَةَ الصُّنْعِ فِيمَا سَأَلْتُ\
   *Wa adhiqnī ḥalāwata alṣunʿi fīmā sa’alt*\
   And let me taste the sweetness of Your action in what I asked

44. وَ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ فَرَجاً هَنِيئاً\
   *Wa hab lī min ladunka farajan hanīʾan*\
   And grant me from Yourself a relief that is pleasant

45. وَ اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مَخْرَجاً وَحِيّاً\
   *Wa ajʿal lī min ʿindika makhrajān waḥiyyā*\
   And provide for me from You an immediate escape

46. وَ لَا تَشْغَلْنِي بِالاهْتِمَامِ عَنْ تَعَاهُدِ فُرُوضِكَ\
   *Wa lā tashghalnī bilihtimāmi ʿan taʿāhudi furūḍik*\
   And do not let my concerns distract me from fulfilling Your obligations

47. وَ اسْتِعْمَالِ سُنَّتِكَ فَقَدْ ضِقْتُ يَا رَبِّ\
   *Wa istiʿmāli sunnatik faqad ḍiqtu yā Rabb*\
   And from following Your way, for I have become weary, O Lord

48.  لِمَا نَزَلَ بِي ذَرْعاً\
   *Limā nazala bī dharʿan*\
   Because of what has befallen me, I have become weak

49. وَ امْتَلَأْتُ بِحَمْلِ مَا حَدَثَ عَلَيَّ هَمّاً\
   *Wa imtala’tu biḥamli mā ḥadatha ʿalayya hamman*\
   And I have been filled with worry due to what has occurred to me

50. وَ أَنْتَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى كَشْفِ مَا مُنِيتُ بِهِ\
   *Wa anta alqādiru ʿalā kashfi mā munītu bihi*\
   And You are capable of removing what I have been afflicted with

51. وَ دَفْعِ مَا وَقَعْتُ فِيهِ\
   *Wa dafʿi mā waqaʿtu fīhi*\
   And repelling what I have fallen into

52. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *Faṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad*\
   So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

53. وَ افْعَلْ بِي ذَلِكَ وَ إِنْ لَمْ أَسْتَوْجِبْهُ مِنْكَ\
   *Wa ifʿal bī dhālika wa in lam astawjibhu minka*\
   And do this for me, even if I do not deserve it from You

54. يَا رَبِّ يَا ذَا الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ\
   *Yā Rabbī yā dhā alʿarshi alkarīm*\
   O Lord, O Possessor of the noble Throne

55. وَ السُّلْطَانِ الْعَظِيمِ\
   *Wa alsulṭāni alʿaẓīm*\
   And the great authority

56. يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ خَلَوْنَا بِهِ وَحْدَنَا\
   *Yā khayra man khalawnā bihi waḥdanā*\
   O best One whom we confide in when alone

57. وَ يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ أَشَرْنَا إِلَيْهِ بِكَفِّنَا\
   *Wa yā khayra man ashernā ilayhi bikaffinā*\
   And O best One to whom we gesture with our hands

58. نَسْأَلُكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْ تُلْهِمَنَا الْخَيْرَ وَ تُعْطِيَنَاهُ\
   *Nas’aluka Allāhumma an tulhimanā alkhayra wa tuʿṭīnāhu*\
   We ask You, O Allah, to inspire us with goodness and grant it to us

59. وَ أَنْ تَصْرِفَ عَنَّا الشَّرَّ وَ تَكْفِيَنَاهُ\
   *Wa an taṣrifa ʿannā alsharra wa takfiyanāhu*\
   And to turn away evil from us and suffice us from it

60. وَ أَنْ تَدْحَرَ عَنَّا الشَّيْطَانَ وَ تُبَعِّدَنَاهُ\
   *Wa an tadhara ʿannā alshayṭāna wa tubaʿidanāhu*\
   And to drive away Satan from us and keep him distant

61. وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنَا الْفِرْدَوْسَ وَ تُحِلَّنَاهُ\
   *Wa an tarzuqanā alfirdawsa wa tuḥillanāhu*\
   And to grant us Paradise and make us dwell therein

62. وَ أَنْ تَسْقِيَنَا مِنْ حَوْضِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *Wa an tasqiyanā min ḥawḍi Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad*\
   And to give us drink from the basin of Muhammad and his family

63. وَ تُوْرِدَنَاهُ وَ نَدْعُوكَ\
   *Wa tuwridanāhu wa nadʿūka*\
   And to bring us to it, and we call upon You

64. يَا رَبَّنَا تَضَرُّعاً وَ خِيفَةً وَ رَغْبَةً وَ رَهْبَةً\
   *Yā Rabbanā taḍarruʿan wa khīfatan wa raghbatan wa rahbatan*\
   O our Lord, in humility, fear, hope, and awe

65. وَ خَوْفاً وَ طَمَعاً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ\
   *Wa khawfan wa ṭamaʿan innaka samīʿu alduʿā’*\
   And in fear and longing, truly You are the Hearer of supplications

66. وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ\
   *Wa ṣallā Allāhu ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ālihi*\
   And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his family

67. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ مَنْ عَاذَ بِكَ مِنْكَ\
   *Allāhumma innī as’aluka biḥurmati man ʿādha bika minka*\
   O Allah, I ask You by the sanctity of the one who seeks refuge in You from You

68. وَ لَجَأَ إِلَى عِزِّكَ وَ اسْتَظَلَّ بِفَيْئِكَ\
   *Wa laja’a ilā ʿizzika wa istaẓalla bifi’ika*\
   And who has taken shelter in Your might and sought shade in Your mercy

69. وَ اعْتَصَمَ بِحَبْلِكَ وَ لَمْ يَثِقْ إِلَّا بِكَ\
   *Wa iʿtaṣama biḥablika wa lam yathiq illā bika*\
   And has held firmly to Your rope, trusting none but You

70. يَا جَزِيلَ الْعَطَايَا وَ يَا فَكَّاكَ الْأُسَارَى\
   *Yā jazīla alʿaṭāyā wa yā fakkāka alusārā*\
   O Generous in giving, O Liberator of the captives

71. أَنْتَ الْمَفْزَعُ فِي الْمُلِمَّاتِ وَ أَنْتَ الْمَدْعُوُّ لِلْمُهِمَّاتِ\
   *Anta almafzaʿu fī almulimāt wa anta almadʿū lilmuhimmāt*\
   You are the refuge in hardships, and You are the One called upon for urgent matters

72. صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *Ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad*\
   Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

73. وَ اجْعَلْ لِي فَرَجاً وَ مَخْرَجاً\
   *Wa ajʿal lī farajan wa makhrajā*\
   And grant me relief and a way out

74. وَ ارْزُقْنِي رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً بِمَا شِئْتَ\
   *Wa arzuqnī rizqan wāsiʿan bimā shi’ta*\
   And provide me with abundant sustenance as You will

75. إِذَا شِئْتَ وَ كَيْفَ شِئْتَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   *Idhā shi’ta wa kayfa shi’ta yā arḥama alrāḥimīn*\
   Whenever You will and however You will, O Most Merciful of the merciful

76. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   O my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

77. وَ افْتَحْ قَلْبِي لِذِكْرِكَ وَ اجْعَلْنِي أَتَّبِعُ كِتَابَكَ وَ أُومِنُ بِرَسُولِكَ\
   Please open my heart to Your Remembrance, make me follow Your Book, believe in Your Prophet

78. وَ أُوفِي بِعَهْدِكَ وَ أَلْبِسْنِي رَحْمَتَكَ وَ تَقَبَّلْ صَوْمِي\
   loyal to Your Covenant. Please bless me with Your Mercy and accept my fast

79. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ الشَّرِيفِ الْعَظِيمِ بِجُودِكَ وَ كَرَمِكَ\
   O my God! I seek nearness to You in this grand honorable month by Your Generosity and Benevolence

80. وَ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِمَلَائِكَتِكَ وَ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ\
   I seek nearness to You by Your Angels, Prophets, and Messengers

81. وَ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِالْمُسْتَحْفِظِينَ أَوَّلِهِمْ وَ آخِرِهِمْ\
   I seek nearness to You by the guards – the very first one and the last

82. وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

83. وَ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي \[الذُّنُوبَ‌\] جَمِيعاً السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ اللَّيْلَةَ اللَّيْلَةَ\
   and forgive all my sins in this very hour and this very day

*Then raise your hands and try to shed tears*

84. ‌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا مُيَسِّرَ كُلِّ عَسِيرٍ\
   O Allah, I ask You, O Facilitator of every difficulty,

85. وَ يَا مَنْ هُوَ حَسَنُ التَّدْبِيرِ\
   and O He who is excellent in arrangement,

86. وَ يَا مَنْ لَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى تَفْسِيرٍ\
   and O He who does not need explanation,

87. وَ يَا مَنْ هُوَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ كُلِّ كَبِيرٍ\
   and O He who is greater than every great,

88. وَ يَا مَنْ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ لَا وَزِيرَ\
   and O He who has no partner nor minister,

89. يَا مَنْ لَا صَاحِبَةَ لَهُ وَ لَا ضِدَّ وَ لَا نِدَّ وَ لَا مُعِينَ وَ لَا ظَهِيرَ\
   O He who has no companion, nor opponent, nor equal, nor helper, nor supporter,

90. يَا جَابِرَ الْعَظْمِ الْكَسِيرِ يَا مُعِينَ الْبَائِسِ الْفَقِيرِ\
   O Repairer of the broken bone, O Helper of the desperate poor,

91. يَا خَالِقَ الشَّمْسِ وَ الْقَمَرِ الْمُنِيرِ\
   O Creator of the sun and the illuminating moon,

92. يَا سَالِكَ الْفَلَكِ الْمُدِيرِ يَا رَازِقَ الطِّفْلِ الصَّغِيرِ\
   O Mover of the orbiting celestial sphere, O Provider for the small child,

93. أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَفْتَحَ مَسَامِعَ قَلْبِي لِذِكْرِكَ وَ اتِّبَاعِ كُتُبِكَ\
   I ask You to open the ears of my heart to Your remembrance, and following Your books,

94. وَ التَّصْدِيقِ بِأَنْبِيَائِكَ وَ الْوَفَاءِ بِعَهْدِكَ\
   and believing in Your prophets, and fulfilling Your covenant,

95. وَ الْإِيمَانِ بِوَعْدِكَ فَإِنِّي\
   and believing in Your promise, for indeed,

96. يَا إِلَهِي بِنُورِكَ اهْتَدَيْتُ وَ بِفَضْلِكَ اسْتَغْنَيْتُ\
   O my God, by Your light I have been guided, and by Your grace I have been sufficed,

97. وَ بِكَ أَصْبَحْتُ وَ أَمْسَيْتُ\
   and by You I have become in the morning and the evening.

98. إِلَهِي ذُنُوبِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْهَا وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ\
   My God, my sins are before You, I ask for Your forgiveness for them and I repent to You.

99. اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُؤَخِّرْنِي فِي الْأَشْرَارِ وَ لَا تُكْثِرْ بِي أَهْلَ النَّارِ\
   O Allah, do not delay me among the wicked, nor increase the people of the fire with me,

100. أَحْيِنِي حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً وَ تَوَفَّنِي وَفَاةً طَيِّبَةً كَرِيمَةً\
   grant me a good life and cause me to die a noble death,

101. وَ أَلْحِقْنِي بِالْأَبْرَارِ\
   and join me with the righteous.

102. اللَّهُمَ‌إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذُنُوبِي وَ أَعْرِضُ عَلَيْكَ حَوَائِجِي\
   O Allah, I ask for Your forgiveness for my sins and present to You my needs.

103. وَ أَسْأَلُكَ فَوْقَ رَغْبَتِي وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَى كَرَمِكَ فِي التَّجَاوُزِ عَنْ ظُلْمِي لِنَفْسِي\
   I ask You beyond my desire and aspire to Your generosity in overlooking the injustice I have done to myself,

104. وَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ غِنَايَ وَ هُدَايَ فِي نَفْسِي\
   and that You make my wealth and guidance within myself,

105. وَ أَنْ تَتَقَبَّلَهُ مِنِّي وَ تُبْلِغَنِي تَمَامَهُ\
   and that You accept it from me, and complete it for me,

106. وَ تُسَلِّمَهُ لِي وَ تَسْلَمَنِي مِنَ الْإِثْمِ فِيهِ بِعِزِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ\
   and deliver it to me, and save me from sin in it by Your great honor,

107. بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

108. وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.\
   And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his pure family.
