Each line gives the Arabic, then the transliteration in italics, then the English.

1. أَبْتَدِئُ يَوْمِي هٰذَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نِسْيَانِي وَعَجَلَتِي\
   *abtati'u yawmi hadha bayna yaday nisyani wa \`ajalati*\
   I begin this day of mine before I should forget and hasten to other affairs,

2. بِسْمِ ﭐللَّهِ\
   *bismillahi*\
   ‘with the Name of Allah’

3. وَمَا شَاءَ ﭐللَّهُ\
   *wa ma sha'a allahu*\
   and ‘Only what Allah wills (shall come to pass).’

4. بِسْمِ ﭐللَّهِ وَبِٱللَّهِ\
   *bismillahi wa billahi*\
   In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I put my trust),

5. وَإِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa ila allahi*\
   to Allah (I resort),

6. وَفِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa fi sabili allahi*\
   in the way of Allah (I proceed),

7. وَعَلَىٰ مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa \`ala millati rasuli allahi*\
   and the principles of Allah’s Messenger,

8. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   may Allah bless him and his Household (I follow).

9. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱحْفَظْنِي بِحِفْظِ ٱلإِيـمَانِ\
   *allahumma ihfazni bihifzi al-imani*\
   O Allah, (please) protect me with the protection of faith

10. مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي\
   *min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi*\
   before me, behind me,

11. وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي\
   *wa \`an yamini wa \`an shimali*\
   to my right side, to my left side,

12. وَمِنْ فَوْقِي وَمِنْ تَحْتِي\
   *wa min fawqi wa min tahti*\
   above me, beneath me,

13. وَمِنْ قِبَلِي\
   *wa min qibali*\
   and in front of me.

14. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ\
   *la ilaha illa anta*\
   There is no god save You.

15. لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ\
   *la hawla wala quwwata illa billahi*\
   There is neither might nor power except with Allah.

16. نَسْأَلُكَ ٱلْعَفْوَ وَٱلْعَافِيَةَ\
   *nas'aluka al\`afwa wal\`afiyata*\
   We beseech You for pardon and wellbeing

17. مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ وَشَرٍّ\
   *min kulli su'in wa sharrin*\
   from all wicked matters and all evils

18. فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ\
   *fi alddunya wal-akhirati*\
   in this world and the Hereafter.

19. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ عَذَابِ ٱلْقَبْرِ\
   *allahumma inni a\`udhu bika min \`adhabi alqabri*\
   O Allah, I pray for Your protection against the chastisement in the grave,

20. وَمِنْ ضَغْطَةِ ٱلْقَبْرِ\
   *wa min daghtati alqabri*\
   the pressure of graves,

21. وَمِنْ ضِيقِ ٱلْقَبْرِ\
   *wa min diqi alqabri*\
   and the tightness of graves.

22. وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ سَطَوَاتِ ٱللَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ\
   *wa a\`udhu bika min satawati allayli walnnahari*\
   I pray Your protection against the calamities in nights and days.

23. اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ ٱلْمَشْعَرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ\
   *allahumma rabba almash\`ari alharami*\
   O Allah, Lord of the Sacred Monument,

24. وَرَبَّ ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ\
   *wa rabba albaladi alharami*\
   the Sacred City,

25. وَرَبَّ ٱلْحِلِّ وَٱلإِحْرَامِ\
   *wa rabba alhilli wal-ihrami*\
   the lawful, and the consecration,

26. أَبْلِغْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِّيَ ٱلسَّلاَمَ\
   *abligh muhammadan wa ala muhammadin \`anni alssalama*\
   (please) convey peace to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad on behalf of me.

27. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِدِرْعِكَ ٱلْحَصِينَةِ\
   *allahumma inni a\`udhu bidir\`ika alhasinati*\
   O Allah, I pray the protection of Your invulnerable armor

28. وَأَعُوذُ بِجَمْعِكَ\
   *wa a\`udhu bijam\`ika*\
   and I pray the protection of Your Wholeness

29. أَنْ تُمِيتَنِي غَرَقاً أَوْ حَرَقاً\
   *an tumitani gharaqan aw haraqan*\
   lest that You might cause me to die drowned, burned,

30. أَوْ شَرَقاً أَوْ قَوَداً\
   *aw sharaqan aw qawadan*\
   choked, beaten,

31. أَوْ صَبْراً أَوْ مُسَمّاً\
   *aw sabran aw musamman*\
   murdered, poisoned,

32. أَوْ تَرَدِّياً فِي بِئْرٍ\
   *aw taraddiyan fi bi'rin*\
   fallen in a well,

33. أَوْ أَكِيلَ السَّبُعِ\
   *aw akila alssabu\`i*\
   eaten by a beast,

34. أَوْ مَوْتَ ٱلْفُجَاءَةِ\
   *aw mawta alfuja'ati*\
   sudden death,

35. أَوْ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْ مِيْتَاتِ ٱلسَّوءِ\
   *aw bishay'in min mitati alssu'i*\
   or any violent death;

36. وَلٰكِنْ أَمِتْنِي عَلَىٰ فِرَاشِي\
   *wa lakin amitni \`ala firashi*\
   rather, cause me to die on my bed

37. فِي طَاعَتِكَ وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ\
   *fi ta\`atika wa ta\`ati rasulika*\
   obeying You and Your Messenger,

38. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   may Allah bless him and his Household,

39. مُصِيباً لِلْحَقِّ غَيْرَ مُخْطِىءٍ\
   *musiban lilhaqqi ghayra mukhti'in*\
   following the truth unfailingly,

40. أَوْ فِي ٱلصَّفِّ ٱلَّذِينَ نَعَتَّهُمْ فِي كِتَابِكَ\
   *aw fi alssaffi alladhina na\`attahum fi kitabika*\
   or to die in the ranks that You have described in Your Book

41. كَأَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوصٌ\
   *ka'annahum bunyanun marsusun*\
   as a solid structure.

42. أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَوَلَدِي\
   *u\`idhu nafsi wa waladi*\
   I pray for myself, my children,

43. وَمَا رَزَقَنِي رَبِّي\
   *wa ma razaqani rabbi*\
   and whatever my Lord has provided me

44. بِـ: «قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ.\
   *biqul a\`udhu birabbi alfalaqi*\
   the protection of “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn

45. مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ.\
   *min sharri ma khalaqa*\
   from the evil of what He has created,

46. وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ.\
   *wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqaba*\
   from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes,

47. وَمِنْ شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي ٱلْعُقَدِ.\
   *wa min sharri alnnaffathati fi al\`uqadi*\
   from the evil of those who blow on knots,

48. وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ.»\
   *wa min sharri hasidin idha hasada*\
   and from the evil of the envious when he envies.”

49. وَأُعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَوَلَدِي\
   *wa u\`idhu nafsi wa waladi*\
   I pray for myself, my children,

50. وَمَا رَزَقَنِي رَبِّي\
   *wa ma razaqani rabbi*\
   and whatever my Lord has provided me

51. بِـ: «قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ.\
   *biqul a\`udhu birabbi alnnasi*\
   the protection of “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,

52. مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ.\
   *maliki alnnasi*\
   the King of men,

53. إِلٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ.\
   *ilahi alnnasi*\
   the god of men,

54. مِنْ شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ.\
   *min sharri alwaswasi alkhannasi*\
   from the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Satan)

55. ٱلَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ.\
   *alladhi yuwaswisu fi suduri alnnasi*\
   who whispers into the hearts of men

56. مِنْ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ.»\
   *min aljinnati wa(a)lnnasi*\
   from among the jinn and the men.”

57. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ\
   *alhamdu lillahi \`adada ma khalaqa allahu*\
   Praise be to Allah as many as what Allah has created.

58. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِثْلَ مَا خَلَقَ\
   *walhamdu lillahi mithla ma khalaqa*\
   Praise be to Allah as same as what He has created.

59. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِلْ‏ءَ مَا خَلَقَ\
   *walhamdu lillahi mil'a ma khalaqa*\
   Praise be to Allah as full as what He has created.

60. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ\
   *walhamdu lillahi midada kalimatihi*\
   Praise be to Allah as much as the ink of His Words.

61. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ\
   *walhamdu lillahi zinata \`arshihi*\
   Praise be to Allah as weighty as His Throne.

62. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رِضَا نَفْسِهِ\
   *walhamdu lillahi rida nafsihi*\
   Praise be to Allah as much as it pleases Him.

63. وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إلاَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحَلِيمُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ\
   *wa la ilaha illa allahu alhalimu alkarimu*\
   There is no god save Allah the Forbearing and All-generous.

64. وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إلاَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَلِيُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ\
   *wa la ilaha illa allahu al\`aliyu al\`azimu*\
   There is no god save Allah the Most High and All-great.

65. سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَوَاتِ وَٱلأَرَضِينَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا\
   *subhana allahi rabbi alssamawati wal-aradina wa ma baynahuma*\
   Glory be to Allah the Lord of the heavens, the layers of the earth, and whatsoever is between them

66. وَرَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ\
   *wa rabbi al\`arshi al\`azimi*\
   and the Lord of the great Throne.

67. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ دَرَكِ ٱلشَّقَاءِ\
   *allahumma inni a\`udhu bika min daraki alshshqa'i*\
   O Allah, I pray Your protection against encounter of misery

68. وَمِنْ شَمَاتَةِ ٱلأَعْدَاءِ\
   *wa min shamatati al-a\`da'i*\
   and gloating of the enemies.

69. وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ ٱلْفَقْرِ وَٱلْوَقْرِ\
   *wa a\`udhu bika min alfaqri walwaqri*\
   I pray Your protection against poverty and rupture.

70. وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ سُوءِ ٱلْمَنْظَرِ\
   *wa a\`udhu bika min su'i almanzari*\
   I pray Your protection against evil result

71. فِي ٱلأَهْلِ وَٱلْمَالِ وَٱلْوَلَدِ\
   *fi al-ahli walmali walwaladi*\
   with regard to the wife, the property, and the children.

72. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

73. اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ\
   *allahumma laka alhamdu*\
   O Allah, all praise be to You.

74. أَحْمَدُكَ وَأَسْتَعِينُكَ\
   *ahmaduka wa asta\`inuka*\
   I praise You and seek Your help.

75. وَأَنْتَ رَبِّي\
   *wa anta rabbi*\
   You are my Lord

76. وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ\
   *wa ana \`abduka*\
   and I am Your servant.

77. أَصْبَحْتُ عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ\
   *asbahtu \`ala \`ahdika wa wa\`dika*\
   I begin this morning committing myself to my pledge and promise to You,

78. وَأُؤْمِنُ بِوَعْدِكَ\
   *wa u'minu biwa\`dika*\
   having faith in Your promise,

79. وَأُوفِي بِعَهْدِكَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُ\
   *wa ufi bi\`ahdika ma istata\`tu*\
   and fulfilling my covenant to You as much as I can.

80. وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ\
   *wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi*\
   There is neither might nor power except with Allah,

81. وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ\
   *wahdahu la sharika lahu*\
   One and Only and having no associate with Him.

82. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ\
   *wa ashhadu anna muhammadan \`abduhu wa rasuluhu*\
   I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

83. أَصْبَحْتُ عَلَىٰ فِطْرَةِ ٱلإِسْلاَمِ\
   *asbahtu \`ala fitrati al-islami*\
   I am in this morning following the nature of Islam,

84. وَكَلِمَةِ ٱلإِخْلاَصِ\
   *wa kalimati al-ikhlasi*\
   the creed of sincerity,

85. وَمِلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ\
   *wa millati ibrahima*\
   the principles of Abraham,

86. وَدِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *wa dini muhammadin*\
   and the faith of Muhammad,

87. صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا وَآلِهِمَا\
   *salawatu allahi \`alayhima wa alihima*\
   blessings of Allah be upon them and upon their households.

88. عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ أَحْيىٰ وَأَمُوْتُ\
   *\`ala dhalika ahya wa amutu*\
   Carrying this faith, I will live and die,

89. إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ\
   *in sha'a allahu*\
   if Allah wills.

90. اَللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي\
   *allahumma ahyini ma ahiyaytani*\
   O Allah, (please) make me live as long as You determine me to live

91. وَأَمِتْنِي إِذَا أَمَتَّنِي عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ\
   *wa amitni idha amattani \`ala dhalika*\
   and cause me to die when You will decide to make me die following this faith,

92. وَٱبْعَثْنِي إِذَا بَعَثْتَنِي عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ\
   *wab\`athni idha ba\`athtani \`ala dhalika*\
   and resurrect me, when You will resurrect me following this faith.

93. أَبْتَغِي بِذٰلِكَ رِضْوَانَكَ وَٱتِّبَاعَ سَبِيلِكَ\
   *abtaghi bidhalika ridwanaka wattiba\`a sabilika*\
   By so, I only desire for Your pleasure and for following Your path.

94. إِلَيْكَ أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي\
   *ilayka alja'tu zahri*\
   To You do I resort

95. وَإِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي\
   *wa ilayka fawwadtu amri*\
   and with You do I entrust my affairs.

96. آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَئِمَّتِي\
   *alu muhammadin a'immati*\
   The Family of Muhammad are my leaders;

97. لَيْسَ لِي أَئِمَّةٌ غَيْرُهُمْ\
   *laysa li a'immatun ghayruhum*\
   I have no other leaders than they are.

98. بِهِمْ أَئْتَمُّ\
   *bihim a'tammu*\
   I follow them,

99. وَإِيَّاهُمْ أَتَوَلَّىٰ\
   *wa iyyahum atawalla*\
   accede to them,

100. وَبِهِمْ أَقْتَدِي\
   *wa bihim aqtadi*\
   and pattern after their examples.

101. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْهُمْ أَوْلِيَائِي\
   *allahumma ij\`alhum awliya'i*\
   O Allah, (please) make them my leaders

102. فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ\
   *fi alddunya wal-akhirati*\
   in this world and in the Hereafter,

103. وَٱجْعَلْنِي أُوَالِي أَوْلِيَاءَهُمْ\
   *waj\`alni uwali awliya'ahum*\
   keep me loyalist to their loyalists

104. وَأُعَادِي أَعْدَاءَهُمْ\
   *wa u\`adi a\`da'ahum*\
   and enemy of their enemies

105. فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ\
   *fi alddunya wal-akhirati*\
   in this world and in the Hereafter,

106. وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِٱلصَّالِحِينَ\
   *wa alhiqni bilssalihina*\
   and include me with the righteous ones,

107. وَآبَائِي مَعَهُمْ\
   *wa aba'i ma\`ahum*\
   along with my ancestors.

108. إِذَا أَصْبَحْتَ أَصْبَحْتُ بِللَِّ مُؤْمِناً عَلَى دِينِ مَُمَّدٍ وَ سُنَّتِهِ وَ دِينِ عَلِيٍّ وَ سُنَّتِهِ وَِينِ الَْوْصِيَاءِ وَ سُنَّتِهِمْ\
   ‘I arise a believer in Allāh,upon the religion of Muhammad and his sunnah, the religion of Ali and his sunnah, and the religion of the Legatees (i.e. the infallible Imams) and their sunnah.

109. آمَنْتُ بِسِرِّهِمْ وَ عَلَنِيَتِهِمْ وَ شَاهِدِهِمْ وَ غَائِبِهِمْ\
   I believe in their secrets and open declarations, when they are present or hidden;

110. وَ أَعُوذُ بِللَِّ مَِّااسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَِّ وَ عَلِيٌّ وَ الَْوْصِيَاءُ\
   and I seek Allāh’s refuge from that which the Messenger of Allāh (s) sought refuge, as did Ali (a) and the Legatees;

111. وَ أَرْغَبُاللَِّ فِيمَا رَغِبُوا إِلَيْهِ\
   and I desire from Allāh that which they desired from Him,

112. وَ لَ حَوْلَ وَ لَ قُوَّةَ إِلَّ بِللَِّ\
   and there is no might or power except by \[the will of\] Allāh.’”

113. سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِکِ الْقُدُّوْسِ\
   “Glory be to Allāh, the King, the Most Holy

114. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ\
   *Allaahumma Innee A-O’ozo Beka Min Zawaale Ne’mateka*\
   O Allāh, I seek refuge with You from the waning of Your blessings,

115. وَ مِنْ تَْوِيلِ عَافِيَتِكَ\
   *Wa Min Tahweele A’afeyateka*\
   change in the good health You have granted,

116. وَ مِنْ فَجْأَةِ نَقِمَتِكَ\
   *Wa Min Faj-Ate Niqmateka*\
   the suddenness of Your chastisement,

117. وَ مِنْ دَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ\
   *Wa Min Darakish Sheqaaa-E*\
   from falling into wretchedness,

118. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا سَبَقَ فِ الْكِتَابِ\
   *Wa Min Sharre Maa Sabaqa Fil Kitabik*\
   and from the evil that has previously befallen in the Book.

119. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّ أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِزَّةِ مُلْكِكَ وَ شِدَّةِ قُوَّتِكَ وَ بِعَظِيمِ سُلْطَانِكَ وَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ\
   *Allaahumma Innee As-Aloka Be-I’zzate Mulkeka Wa Be-Shiddate Quwwateka Wa Be-A’zame Sultaaneka Wa Be-Qudrateka A’laa Khalqeka An Tosalleya A’laa Mohammadin Wa Aale Mohammadin Wa An Taf-A’la Be Kazaa*\
   O Allāh, I beg You by the glory of Your kingdom, the might of Your strength, the greatness of Your dominion and Your power over Your creation.”’”

120. بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.\
   *Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.*\
   In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

121. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ لَمْ یُصْبِحْ بِی مَیِّتًا.\
   *Alhamdo Lillaahil Lazee Lam Yusbeh Bee Mayyetan.*\
   Praise be to Allah, Who made me such that I have not died.

122. وَلَا سَقِیْمًا وَ لَا مَضْرُوْبًا عَلٰی عُرُوْقِیْ بِسُوٓءٍ.\
   *Wa Laa Saqeeman Wa Laa Mazrooban A’laa O’rooqee Be-Sooo-In.*\
   Nor am I sick, nor have my veins been infected with disease.

123. وَلَا مَاْخُوْذًا بِاَسْوَءِ عَمَلِیْ وَ لَا مَقْطُوْعًا دَابِرِیْ.\
   *Wa Laa Maakhoozan Be-Aswa-E A’malee Wa Laa Maqtoo-A’n Daaberee.*\
   Nor have I been hauled up for my evil acts, nor am I without progeny.

124. وَلَا مُرْتَدًّا عَنْ دِیْنِیْ وَ لَا مُنْکِرًا لِرَبِّیْ.\
   *Wa Laa Murtaddan A’n Deenee Wa Laa Munkeran Lerabbee.*\
   Nor have I forsaken my religion, nor do I disbelieve in my Lord.

125. وَلَا مُسْتَوْحِشًا مِنْ اِیْمَانِیْ وَ لَا مُلْتَبِسًا عَقْلِیْ.\
   *Wa Laa Mustawheshan Min Eemaanee Wa Laa Multabesan A’qlee.*\
   Nor do I feel strangeness with my faith, nor is my intelligence affected.

126. وَلَا مُعَذَّبًا بِعَذَابِ الْاُمَمِ مِنْ قَبْلِیْ.\
   *Wa Laa Mo-A’zzaban Be-A’zaabil Omame Min Qablee.*\
   Nor have I been punished with the punishment of peoples before me.

127. اَصْبَحْتُ عَبْدًا مَمْلُوْکًا ظَالِمًا لِنَفْسِیْ.\
   *Asbahto A’bdan Mamlookan Zaaleman Le-Nafsee.*\
   I am a slave in Your possession; I have been guilty of excesses over myself.

128. لَکَ الْحُجَّۃُ عَلَیَّ وَ لَا حُجَّۃَ لِیْ.\
   *Lakal Hujjato A’layya Wa Laa Hujjata Lee.*\
   You have exhausted Your pleas over me and I have no plea (before You).

129. وَلَا اَسْتَطِیْعُ اَنْ آخُذَ اِلَّا مَا اَعْطَیْتَنِیْ.\
   *Wa Laa Astatee-O’ An Aakhoza Illaa Maa A-A’taytanee.*\
   I have no power to take except what You give me.

130. وَلَا اَتَّقِیَ اِلَّا مَا وَقَیْتَنِیْ.\
   *Wa Laa Attaqeya Illaa Maa Waqaytanee.*\
   And I cannot evade except what You save me from.

131. اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّی اَعُوْدُ بِکَ اَنْ اَفْتَقِرَ فِی غِنَاکَ.\
   *Allaahumma Innee A-O’ozo Beka An Aftaqera Fee Ghenaaka.*\
   O Allah! I seek Your protection from becoming destitute despite Your riches.

132. اَوْ اَضِلَّ فِی ہُدَاکَ اَوْ اُضَامَ فِی سُلْطَانِکَ.\
   *Aw Azilla Fee Hodaaka Aw Ozaama Fee Sultaaneka.*\
   From being misguided despite Your guidance, from being molested in Your realm.

133. اَوْ اُضْطَہَدَ وَ الْاَمْرُ لَکَ.\
   *Aw Uztahada Wal Amro Laka.*\
   And from being humiliated while authority rests with You.

134. اَللّٰہُمَّ اجْمَعَل نَفְسِی أَوَّلَ کَرِیْمَۃٍ تَنْتَزِعُہَا مِن کَرَآئِمِی۔\
   *Allaahummaj A’l Nafsee Awwala Kareematin Tantaze-O’haa Min Karaaa-Emee.*\
   O Allah! Let my spirit be the first of those good objects that You take from me.

135. وَاَوَّلَ وَدِیعَۃٍ تَرْتَجِعُہَا مِن وَدَآئِع نِّعَمک عِنְدِي۔\
   *Wa Awwala Wadee-A’tin Tartaje-O’haa Min Wadaaa-E-E’ Ne-A’meka I’ndee.*\
   And the first trust out of Your favors held in trust with me.

136. اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّا نَعُؤوز بِک أَنْ تَذہَب عَنْ قَوِلک۔\
   *Allaahumma Innaa Na-O’ozo Beka An Tazhaba A’n Qawleka.*\
   O Allah! We seek Your protection from turning away from Your command.

137. اَوَنْ نُنفتَنَنَّ عَنْ دِينک۔\
   *Aw An Nuftatana A’n Deeneka.*\
   Or revolting against Your religion.

138. اَو تَعَالَى بِنَا أَهَوَىٰنَا دُونَهُدَى الَّذِي جَآءَ مِن عِنَدک۔\
   *Aw Tataa-Ba-A’ Benaa Ahwaaa-Onaa Doonal Hodal Lazee Jaaa-A Min I’ndeka.*\
   Or being led away by our desires instead of by guidance that comes from You.

139. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ\
   *i.la ilaha illa allahu*\
   There is no god save Allah;

140. وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَريكَ لَهُ\
   *wahdahu la sharika lahu*\
   One and Only Lord and having no associate with Him.

141. لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ\
   *lahu almulku wa lahu alhamdu*\
   To him is the kingdom and to Him is all praise.

142. يُحيِي وَيُميتُ\
   *yuhyi wa yumitu*\
   He gives life and causes to die

143. وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ\
   *wa huwa hayyun la yamutu*\
   while He is Ever-living and He never dies.

144. بِيَدِهِ ٱلْخَيْرُ\
   *biyadihi alkhayru*\
   In His hand is the good

145. وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ\
   *wa huwa \`ala kulli shay'in qadirun*\
   and He has power over all things.

146. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

147. سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *subhana allahi*\
   All glory be to Allah.

148. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ\
   *la ilaha illa allahu*\
   There is no god save Allah.

149. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ\
   *alhamdu lillahi*\
   All praise be to Allah.

150. أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذي بِهِ تَقُومُ السَّماءَ ، وَبِهِ تَقُومُ الْأَرْضَ،\
   “O’ Allah! Indeed I beseech You in You name with which the sky is upright, and with which the earth is upright

151. وَبِهِ تُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَالْباطِلِ ،\
   , and with which we differentiate between truth and evil,

152. وَبِهِ تَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمُتَفَرِّقِ ، وَبِهِ تُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ الْمُجْتَمَعِ ،\
   and with which we join the separated ones, and with which we segregate the joined ones,

153. وَبِهِ أَحْصَيْتَ عَدَدَ الرِّمالِ ، وَزِنَةَ الْجِبالِ ، وَكَيْلَ الْبِحارِ ،\
   and with which we count the number of pebbles, and the weight of the mountains, and the measurement of the Oceans,

154. أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ لي مِنْ أَمْري فَرَجاً وَمَخْرَجاً .\
   to bless Muhammad and his holy Progeny, and to give me relief and a point of exit for my affair.\[1\]

155. يَا كَبِيرَ كُلِّ كَبِيرٍ\
   *Ya Kabīra Kulli Kabīrin*\
   O Greatest of the great,

156. يَا مَنْ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ لَا وَزِيرَ\
   *Ya Man Lā Sharīka Lahu Wa Lā Wazīra*\
   O One without partner or helper,

157. يَا خَالِقَ الشَّمْسِ وَ الْقَمَرِ الْمُنِيرِ\
   *Ya Khāliq Ash-Shamsi Wa Al-Qamar Al-Munīri*\
   Creator of the shining sun and moon,

158. يَا عِصْمَةَ الْخَائِفِ الْمُسْتَجِيرِ\
   *Ya 'Ismata Al-Khā'ifi Al-Mustajīri*\
   Protector of the fearful seeker of refuge,

159. يَا مُطْلِقَ الْمُكَبَّلِ الْأَسِيرِ\
   *Ya Muṭliq Al-Mukabbali Al-Asīri*\
   Liberator of the bound captive,

160. يَا رَازِقَ الطِّفْلِ الصَّغِيرِ\
   *Ya Rāziqa At-Ṭifl As-Ṣaghīri*\
   Provider of the small child,

161. يَا جَابِرَ الْعَظْمِ الْكَسِيرِ\
   *Ya Jābira Al-'Aẓmi Al-Kasīri*\
   Healer of the broken bones,

162. يَا رَاحِمَ الشَّيْخِ الْكَبِيرِ\
   *Ya Rāḥima Ash-Shaykh Al-Kabīri*\
   Merciful to the elderly,

163. يَا نُورَ النُّورِ\
   *Ya Nūra An-Nūr*\
   Light of all light,

164. يَا مُدَبِّرَ الْأُمُورِ\
   *Ya Mudabbira Al-Ummūri*\
   Director of all affairs,

165. يَا بَاعِثَ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ\
   *Ya Bā'itha Man Fī Al-Qubūri*\
   Resurrector of those in graves,

166. يَا شَافِيَ الصُّدُورِ\
   *Ya Shāfiya As-Ṣudūri*\
   Healer of the hearts,

167. يَا مَنْ لَا يَشْغَلُهُ شُغُلٌ عَنْ شُغُلٍ\
   *Ya Man Lā Yashghaluhu Shughulun 'An Shughulin*\
   O One whose work is not hindered by other tasks,

168. يَا مَنْ لَا يَتَغَيَّرُ مِنْ حَالٍ إِلَى حَالٍ\
   *Ya Man Lā Yataghayyaru Min Ḥālin Ilā Ḥālin*\
   O One who is not subject to change from state to state,

169. يَا مَنْ لَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى تَجَشُّمِ حَرَكَةٍ وَ لَا انْتِقَالٍ\
   *Ya Man Lā Yaḥtāju Ilā Tajashšumi Ḥarakatin Wa Lā Intiqālin*\
   O One who does not need movement or transfer,

170. يَا مَنْ لَا يَشْغَلُهُ شَأْنٌ عَنْ شَأْنٍ\
   *Ya Man Lā Yashghaluhu Sha'nun 'An Sha'nin*\
   O One whose affairs do not preoccupy Him from other matters,

171. يَا مَنْ لَا يُحِيطُ بِهِ مَوْضِعٌ وَ لَا مَكَانٌ\
   *Ya Man Lā Yuḥīṭu Bihi Mawḍi'un Wa Lā Makānun*\
   O One who is bound by no place or space,

172. يَا مَنْ يَرُدُّ بِأَلْطَفِ الصَّدَقَةِ وَ الدُّعَاءِ\
   *Ya Man Yaruddu Bi-Alṭafi Ṣadaqati Wa Ad-Du'ā'i*\
   O One who turns away decreed harm by subtle charity and supplication.

173. عَنْ أَعْنَانِ السَّمَاءِ مَا حَتَمَ وَ أَبْرَمَ مِنْ سُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ\
   *'An A'nāni As-Samā'i Mā Ḥatama Wa Abrama Min Sū'i Al-Qaḍā'i*\
   From the heavens, what has been decreed and determined of evil fate,

174. يَا مَنْ يَجْعَلُ الشِّفَاءَ فِيمَا يَشَاءُ مِنَ الْأَشْيَاءِ\
   *Ya Man Yaj'alu Ash-Shifā'a Fīmā Yashā'u Min Al-Ashyā'i*\
   O One who places healing in whatever He wills of things,

175. يَا مَنْ يُمْسِكُ الرَّمَقَ مِنَ الْمُدْنِفِ الْعَمِيدِ الْعَلِيلِ بِمَا قَلَّ مِنَ الْغِذَاءِ\
   *Ya Man Yum'siku Ar-Ramaq Min Al-Mudhnifi Al-'Amīdi Al-'Alīli Bi-Mā Qalla Min Al-Ghiḏā'i*\
   Who sustains the strength of the weary, weakened sick with minimal nourishment,

176. يَا مَنْ يُزِيلُ بِأَدْنَى الدَّوَاءِ مَا غَلُظَ مِنَ الدَّاءِ\
   *Ya Man Yuzīlu Bi-Adnā Ad-Dawā'i Mā Ghaluẓa Min Ad-Da'i*\
   Who removes severe illness with the simplest of remedies,

177. يَا مَنْ يُعَلِّمُ الْجَهَالَى\
   *Ya Man Yu'allimu Al-Jahālā*\
   O One who teaches the ignorant,

178. يَا مَنْ يُرَشِّدُ الضَّالِّينَ\
   *Ya Man Yurashshidu Ad-Ḍāllīn*\
   O One who guides the misguided,

179. يَا مَنْ يُنَزِّلُ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ\
   *Ya Man Yunazzilu As-Sakīnata 'Alā Qulūbi Al-Mu'minīn*\
   O One who sends tranquility upon the hearts of believers,

180. يَا مَنْ يُحِبُّ الصَّادِقِينَ\
   *Ya Man Yuḥibbu As-Ṣādiqīn*\
   O One who loves the truthful,

181. يَا مَنْ يُسَخِّرُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لِعِبَادِهِ\
   *Ya Man Yusakhkhiru Al-Malā'ikata Li-'Ibādihi*\
   O One who employs angels for His servants,

182. يَا مَنْ يَجْعَلُ الْحَرْبَ سِلْمًا وَ الْخَوْفَ أَمْنًا\
   *Ya Man Yaj'alu Al-Ḥarba Silman Wa Al-Khawfa Amnan*\
   O One who turns war into peace and fear into security,

183. يَا مَنْ يُرْسِلُ الرِّيَاحَ لِلرِّيَّ وَ الْمَطَرِ\
   *Ya Man Yursilu Ar-Riyāḥa Lil-Riyy Wa Al-Maṭari*\
   O One who sends winds for irrigation and rain,

184. يَا مَنْ يُنْعِمُ عَلَى الْعَبِيدِ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ\
   *Ya Man Yun'im 'Alā Al-'Abīdi Bil-Khayrāt*\
   O One who bestows blessings upon His servants,

185. يَا مَنْ يُحَقِّقُ الْأَمَالَ وَ يَسْمَعُ الدُّعَاءَ\
   *Ya Man Yuḥaqqiqu Al-Amāl Wa Yasma'u Ad-Du'ā'a*\
   O One who fulfills hopes and hears supplications,

186. يَا مَنْ يَرْزُقُ النَّاسَ مِنْ غَيْرِ حِسَابٍ\
   *Ya Man Yarzuqu An-Nāsa Min Ghayri Ḥisābin*\
   O One who provides for people without account,

187. يَا مَنْ لَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ وَ كُلُّ قَدَرٍ\
   *Ya Man Lahu Kullu Shay'in Wa Kullu Qadar*\
   O One to whom all things and all destinies belong,

188. اللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ\
   *Allāhumma Faṣalli 'Alā Muḥammadin Wa Ālihi*\
   O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family,

189. وَ عَجِّلْ فَرَجِي\
   *Wa 'Ajjil Farajī*\
   And hasten my relief,

190. وَ أَقِلْ عَثْرَتِي\
   *Wa Aqil 'Athrati*\
   And forgive my missteps,

191. وَ ارْحَمْ عَبْرَتِي\
   *Wa Irḥam 'Abratī*\
   And have mercy on my tears,

192. وَ ارْدُدْنِي إِلَى أَفْضَلِ عَادَاتِكَ عِنْدِي\
   *Wa Iruddnī Ilā Afdali 'Ādātika 'Indī*\
   And return me to Your best practices with me,

193. وَ اسْتَقْبِلْ بِي صِحَّةً مِنْ سُقْمِي\
   *Wa Istaqbil Bī Ṣiḥḥatan Min Suqmī*\
   And grant me health from my illness,

194. وَ سَعَةً مِنْ عَدَمِي\
   *Wa Sa'atan Min 'Adāmī*\
   And abundance from my poverty,

195. وَ سَلَامَةً شَامِلَةً فِي بَدَنِي\
   *Wa Salāmatan Shāmilatan Fī Badanī*\
   And comprehensive well-being in my body,

196. وَ بَصِيرَةً نَافِذَةً فِي دِينِي\
   *Wa Baṣīratan Nāfidha Fī Dīnī*\
   And clear insight in my faith,

197. وَ مَهِّدْنِي وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى اسْتِغْفَارِكَ\
   *Wa Mahhidnī Wa A'inni 'Alā Istighfārika*\
   And enable me, and aid me in seeking Your forgiveness,

198. وَ اسْتِقَالَتِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْنَى الْأَجَلُ\
   *Wa IstiqālatiKa Qabla An Yafnā Al-Ajal*\
   Before the term ends,

199. وَ يَنْقَطِعَ الْأَمَلُ\
   *Wa Yanqaṭi'a Al-Amal*\
   And hope is cut off.

200. وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى الْمَوْتِ وَ كُرْبَتِهِ\
   *Wa A'inni 'Alā Al-Mawti Wa Kurbatihī*\
   Assist me in death and its pangs,

201. وَعَلَى الْقَبْرِ وَ وَحْشَتِهِ\
   *Wa 'Alā Al-Qabri Wa Wahshatihi*\
   The grave and its isolation,

202. وَ أَسْأَلُكَ نَجَاحَ الْعَمَلِ قَبْلَ انْقِطَاعِ الْأَجَلِ\
   *Wa As'aluka Najāḥa Al-'Amal Qabla Inqiṭā'i Al-Ajal*\
   And I ask You for success in deeds before life ends,

203. وَقُوَّةً فِي سَمْعِي وَ بَصَرِي\
   *Wa Quwwatan Fī Sam'ī Wa Baṣarī*\
   Strength in my hearing and sight,

204. وَ اسْتِعْمَالِ الْعَمَلِ الصَّالِحِ مِمَّا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَ فَهَّمْتَنِي\
   *Wa Isti'māla Al-'Amal As-Ṣāliḥ Mimmā 'Allamtanī Wa Fahhamtanī*\
   And the ability to use good deeds from what You taught me and made me understand.

205. إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الرَّبُّ الْجَلِيلُ\
   *InnaKa Anta Ar-Rabbu Al-Jalīl*\
   Indeed, You are the Glorious Lord,

206. وَ أَنَا الْعَبْدُ الضَّعِيفُ\
   *Wa Anā Al-'Abdu Aḍ-Ḍa'īf*\
   And I am the weak servant,

207. وَ شَتَّانَ مَا بَيْنَنَا\
   *Wa Shattāna Mā Baynanā*\
   And the difference between us is vast.

208. يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ\
   *Ya Ḥannān Ya Mannān*\
   O Most Compassionate, O Most Beneficent,

209. يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ\
   *Ya Dhā Al-Jalāli Wa Al-Ikrām*\
   O Lord of Majesty and Honor,

210. وَ صَلِّ عَلَى مَنْ فَهَّمْتَنَا\
   *Wa Ṣalli 'Alā Man Fahhamtanā*\
   Bless the one who brought us understanding,

211. وَهُوَ أَقْرَبُ وَسَائِلِنَا إِلَيْكَ رَبَّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ عِتْرَتِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ‏\
   *Wa Huwa Aqrabu Wasīlinā Ilayka Rabbana Muḥammadin Wa Ālihi Wa 'Itratihi At-Ṭāhirīn*\
   And is our nearest intercessor to You, our Lord—Muhammad and his pure family and lineage.

212. الْحَمْدُ لِرَبِّ ٱلصَّبَاحِ\
   *alhamdu lirabbi alssabah*\
   All praise be to the Lord of morning.

213. الْحَمْدُ لِفَالِقِ ٱلإِصْبَاحِ\
   *alhamdu lifaliqi al-isbah*\
   All praise be to the Cleaver of daybreak.

214. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَذْهَبَ ٱللَّيْلَ بِقُدْرَتِهِ\
   *alhamdu lillahi alladhi adh-haba allayla biqudratihi*\
   All praise be to Allah Who has taken away the night by His power

215. وَجَاءَ بِٱلنَّهَارِ بِرَحْمَتِهِ\
   *wa ja'a bilnnahari birahmatihi*\
   and brought the day through His mercy.

216. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ\
   *allahumma inni asbahtu astaghfiruka*\
   O Allah, I implore for You forgiveness

217. فِي هٰذَا ٱلصَّبَاحِ\
   *fi hadha alssabahi*\
   in this morning

218. وَفِي هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ\
   *wa fi hadha alyawmi*\
   and on this day

219. لأَجْلِ رَحْمَتِكَ\
   *li'ajli rahmatika*\
   for purpose of winning Your mercy.

220. وَأَبْرَأُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ أَهْلِ لَعْنَتِكَ\
   *wa abra'u ilayka min ahli la\`natika*\
   I disavow in Your presence the people cursed by You.

221. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أَبْرَأُ إِلَيْكَ\
   *allahumma inni asbahtu abra'u ilayka*\
   O Allah, I disavow in Your presence

222. فِي هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ\
   *fi hadha alyawmi*\
   on this day

223. وَفِي هٰذَا ٱلصَّبَاحِ\
   *wa fi hadha alssabahi*\
   and in this morning

224. مِمَّنْ نَحْنُ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانيْهِمْ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ\
   *mimman nahnu bayna zahranihim min almushrikina*\
   the polytheists we live among them

225. وَمِمَّا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ\
   *wa mimma kanu ya\`buduna*\
   and (disavow) what they are worshipping.

226. إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاسِقِينَ\
   *innahum kanu qawma saw'in fasiqina*\
   Truly, they were a people given to evil, a rebellious people.

227. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ إِلَىٰ ٱلأَرْضِ\
   *allahumma ij\`al ma anzalta min alssama'i ila al-ardi*\
   O Allah, (please) cause what You have brought down from the heavens to the earth

228. فِي هٰذَا ٱلصَّبَاحِ\
   *fi hadha alssabahi*\
   in this morning

229. وَفِي هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ\
   *wa fi hadha alyawmi*\
   and on this day

230. بَرَكَةً عَلَىٰ أَوْ لِيَائِكَ\
   *barakatan \`ala awliya'ika*\
   to be blessing for Your saints

231. وَعِقَاباً عَلَىٰ أَعْدَائِكَ\
   *wa \`iqaban \`ala a\`da'ika*\
   and punishment poured on Your enemies.

232. اَللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالاَكَ\
   *allahumma wali man walaka*\
   O Allah, (please) accede to those who are loyal to You

233. وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاكَ\
   *wa \`adi man \`adaka*\
   and feud with those who act hostilely towards You.

234. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱخْتِمْ لِي بِٱلأَمْنِ وَٱلإِيـمَانِ\
   *allahumma ikhtim li bil-amni wal-imani*\
   O Allah, (please) seal my affairs with security and faith

235. كُلَّمَا طَلَعَتْ شَمْسٌ أَوْ غَرَبَتْ\
   *kullama tala\`at shamsun aw gharabat*\
   whenever the sun rises or sets.

236. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ\
   *allahumma ighfir li wa liwalidayya*\
   O Allah, (please) forgive me and my parents

237. وَٱرْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيراً\
   *warhamhuma kama rabbayani saghiran*\
   and have mercy upon them as they have cherished me in my childhood.

238. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ\
   *allahumma ighfir lilmu'minina walmu'minati*\
   O Allah, (please) forgive the believing men and women

239. وَٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَٱلْمُسْلِمَاتِ\
   *walmuslimina walmuslimati*\
   and the Muslim men and women,

240. ٱلأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَٱلأَمْوَاتِ\
   *al-ahya'i minhum wal-amwati*\
   both the alive and the dead.

241. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مُنْقَلَبَهُمْ وَمَثْوَاهُمْ\
   *allahumma innaka ta\`lamu munqalabahum wa mathwahum*\
   O Allah, You do know their place of returning and their place of rest.

242. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱحْفَظْ إِمَامَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ\
   *allahumma ihfaz imama almuslimina*\
   O Allah, (please) safeguard the leader of Muslims

243. بِحِفْظِ ٱلإِيـمَانِ\
   *bihifzi al-imani*\
   with the protection of faith,

244. وَٱنْصُرْهُ نَصْراً عَزِيزاً\
   *wansurhu nasran \`azizan*\
   help him with powerful help,

245. وَٱفْتَحْ لَهُ فَتْحاً يَسِيراً\
   *waftah lahu fathan yasiran*\
   grant him easy victory,

246. وَٱجْعَلْ لَهُ وَلَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَاناً نَصِيراً\
   *waj\`al lahu wa lana min ladunka sultanan nasiran*\
   and grant him and us from Your presence a sustaining power.

247. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱلْعَنْ فُلاَناً وَفُلاَناً\
   *allahumma il\`an fulanan wa fulanan*\
   O Allah, (please) curse so-and-so and so-and-so­

248. وَٱلْفِرَقَ ٱلْمُخْتَلِفَةَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِكَ\
   *walfiraqa almukhtalifata \`ala rasulika*\
   as well as the factions that have dissented from Your Messenger,

249. وَوُلاَةِ ٱلأَمْرِ بَعْدَ رَسُولِكَ\
   *wa wulati al-amri ba\`da rasulika*\
   from the men of authority after Your Messenger,

250. وَٱلأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِمْ\
   *wal-a'immati min ba\`dihi wa shi\`atihim*\
   from the leaders who came after him, and from their partisans.

251. وَأَسْأَلُكَ ٱلزِّيَادَةَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ\
   *wa as'aluka alzziyadata min fadlika*\
   I also beseech You from more favor,

252. وَٱلإِقْرَارَ بِمَا جَاءَ بِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ\
   *wal-iqrara bima ja'a bihi min \`indika*\
   acknowledgement of what has come from You,

253. وَٱلتَّسْلِيمَ لأَمْرِكَ\
   *walttaslima li'amrika*\
   submission to Your decree,

254. وَٱلْمُحَافَظَةَ عَلَىٰ مَا أَمَرْتَ بِهِ\
   *walmuhafazata \`ala ma amarta bihi*\
   and steadfastness in what You have ordered of.

255. لاَ أَبْتَغِي بِهِ بَدَلًا\
   *la abtaghi bihi badalan*\
   I neither intend to find another alternative than it

256. وَلاَ أَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلًا\
   *wa la ashtari bihi thamanan qalilan*\
   nor do I take a mean price in exchange for it.

257. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ\
   *allahumma ihdini fiman hadayta*\
   O Allah, (please) guide me among those whom You guide

258. وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ\
   *wa qini sharra ma qadayta*\
   and save me from the evil of what You have decided,

259. إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضىٰ عَلَيْكَ\
   *innaka taqdi wa la yuqda \`alayka*\
   for You decree and no one can decree against Your decree

260. وَلاَ يُذَلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ\
   *wa la yudhallu man walayta*\
   and no humiliation will ever afflict one whom You support.

261. تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ\
   *tabarakta wa ta\`alayta*\
   Blessed by You and exalted by You.

262. سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّ ٱلْبَيْتِ\
   *subhanaka rabba albayti*\
   Glory be to You, O Lord of the House.

263. تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي دُعَائِي\
   *taqabbal minni du\`a'i*\
   Accept my prayer.

264. وَمَا تَقَرَّبْتُ بِهِ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ\
   *wa ma taqarrabtu bihi ilayka min khayrin*\
   As for whatever virtuous item through which I have sought nearness to You,

265. فَضَاعِفْهُ لِي أَضْعَافاً كَثِيرَةً\
   *fada\`ifhu li ad\`afan kathiratan*\
   (please) double it for me many folds.

266. وَآتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ أَجْراً عَظِيماً\
   *wa atina min ladunka ajran \`aziman*\
   Grant us from Your Presence a great reward.

267. رَبِّ مَا أَحْسَنَ مَا أَبْلَيْتَنِي\
   *rabbi ma ahsana ma ablaytani*\
   O my Lord, how excellent Your favors to me are!

268. وَأَعْظَمَ مَا أَعْطَيْتَنِي\
   *wa a\`zama ma a\`taytani*\
   How great Your donations to me are!

269. وَأَطْوَلَ مَا عَافَيْتَنِي\
   *wa atwala ma \`afaytani*\
   How lasting the wellbeing with which You have endued me is!

270. وَأَكْثَرَ مَا سَتَرْتَ عَلَيَّ\
   *wa akthara ma satarta \`alayya*\
   Too many times have You covered my faults!

271. فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ يَا إِلٰهِي\
   *falaka alhamdu ya ilahi*\
   So, all praise be to You, O my God;

272. كَثِيراً طَيِّباً مُبَارَكاً عَلَيْهِ\
   *kathiran tayyiban mubarakan \`alayhi*\
   such praise that is pleasant, blessed,

273. مِلْ‏ءَ ٱلسَّمَوَاتِ\
   *mil'a alssamawati*\
   as full as the heavens,

274. وَمِلْ‏ءَ ٱلأَرْضِ\
   *wa mil'a al-ardi*\
   as full as the earth,

275. وَمِلْ‏ءَ مَا شَاءَ رَبِّي وَرَضِيَ\
   *wa mil'a ma sha'a rabbi wa radiya*\
   as full as what my Lord wills and pleases,

276. وَكَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِوَجْهِ رَبِّي\
   *wa kama yanbaghi liwajhi rabbi*\
   and as it fits the Face of my Lord,

277. ذِي ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ\
   *dhi aljalali wal-ikrami*\
   the Lord of majesty and honoring.

278. اللَّهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱللَّهُ رَبِّيَ\
   *allahu allahu allahu rabbi*\
   Allah, Allah, Allah is my lord,

279. ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ\
   *alrrahmanu alrrahimu*\
   the All-beneficent and All-merciful.

280. لاَ أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئاً\
   *la ushriku bihi shay'an*\
   I do not admit any one as partner of Him.

281. «سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ.\
   *subhana rabbika rabbi al-\`izzati \`amma yasifuna*\
   “Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe.

282. وَسَلاَمٌ عَلَىٰ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ.\
   *wa salamun \`ala almursalina*\
   And Peace be upon the messengers.

283. وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ.»\
   *walhamdu lillahi rabbi al\`alamina*\
   And all praise is due to Allah the Lord of the worlds.”

284. «فَسُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ.\
   *fasubhana allahi hina tumsuna wa hina tusbihuna*\
   “Therefore, glory be to Allah when you enter upon the time of the evening and when you enter upon the time of the morning;

285. وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرْضِ\
   *wa lahu alhamdu fi alssamawati wal-ardi*\
   and to Him belongs praise in the heavens and the earth,

286. وَعَشِيّاً وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ.\
   *wa \`ashiyyan wa hina tuzhiruna*\
   and at nightfall and when you are at midday.

287. يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَيَّ مِنْ ٱلْمَيِّتِ\
   *yukhriju alhayya min almayyiti*\
   He brings forth the living from the dead

288. وَيُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنْ ٱلْحَيِّ\
   *wa yukhriju almayyita min alhayyi*\
   and brings forth the dead from the living,

289. وَيُحْيِي ٱلأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا\
   *wa yuhyi al-arda ba\`da mawtiha*\
   and gives life to the earth after its death,

290. وَكَذٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ.»\
   *wa kadhalika tukhrajuna*\
   and thus shall you be brought forth.”

291. سُبُّوْحٌ قُدُّوسٌ\
   *subbuhun quddusun*\
   Glorified and Sacred be You;

292. رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَٱلرُّوحِ\
   *rabbuna wa rabbu almala'ikati walrruhi*\
   our Lord and the Lord of the angels and the Holy Spirit.

293. سَبَقَتْ رَحْمَتُكَ غَضَبَكَ\
   *sabaqat rahmatuka ghadabaka*\
   Your mercy has preceded Your wrath.

294. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ\
   *la ilaha illa anta*\
   There is no god save You.

295. سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَٱغْفِرْ لِي\
   *subhanaka inni zalamtu nafsi faghfir li*\
   Glory be to You. I have wronged myself; so, forgive me,

296. وَٱرْحَمْنِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ\
   *warhamni wa tub \`alayya innaka anta alttawwabu alrrahimu*\
   have mercy upon me, and accept my repentance, for You are the Oft-Returning, the All-merciful.

297. بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.\
   *bismil laahir rahmaanir raheem.*\
   In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

298. يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ اسْتَغِيْتُ فَاَغِثْنِيْ\
   *yaa hayyo yaa qayyoomo be-rahmateka ataghnaito,*\
   O Living. O eternal, by your mercy, I seek your refuge (so give me refuge)

299. وَ لَا تَكِلْنِيْ اِلٰى نَفْسِيْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ اَبَدًا،\
   *fa-aghisnee wa laa tiklnee elaa nafsee tarfata a’ynin abadan,*\
   and do not leave me to my self even for the blink of the eye, ever.

300. وَ اَصْلِحْ لِيْ شَاْنِيْ كُلَّهٗ.\
   *asleh leee shaanee kullahu,*\
   And reform all my conditions

301. بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ\
   *, be-rahmatika ya arhamar rahimeen.*\
   on account of your mercy, o most merciful

302. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ما شاءَ اللَّهُ ، لايَصْرِفُ السُّوءَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ما شاءَ اللَّهُ ، لايَسُوقُ الْخَيْرَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ما شاءَ اللَّهُ ، ما يَكُونُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ . بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ما شاءَ اللَّهُ ، لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظيمِ ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ما شاءَ اللَّهُ ، وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطَّيِّبينَ .\
   By the name of Allah and His wishes, no one turns away evils except Allah, by the name of Allah and His wishes, no one that do convey goods except Allah, by the name of Allah and His wishes, what ever bounty one possess is from Allah, by the name of Allah and His wishes, there is no power nor strength except that of Allah the Exalted, the Greatest, blessing be on Muhammad and on his pure and holy progeny.

303. الْحَمْدُ لَِِّ الَّذِي يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَ لَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ غَيْرُهُ الَْمْدُ لَِِّ كَمَا يُِبُّ اللَُّ أَنْ يُْمَدَ الَْمْدُ لَِِّ كَمَا هُوَ أَهْلُهُ اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْنِ فِ كُلِّ خَيٍْ أَدْخَلْتَ فِيهِ مَُمَّداً وَ آلَ مَُمَّدٍ وَ أَخْرِجْنِ مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ أَخْرَجْتَ مِنْهُ مَُمَّداً وَ آلَ مَُمَّدٍ وَ صَلَّى اللَُّ عَلَى مَُمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مَُمَّدٍ.\
   “All praise belongs to Allāh Who does as He wishes and no one other than Him can do as he wishes. All praise be to Allāh, the way Allāh loves to be praised. All praise be to Allāh, just as He is deserving of it. O Allāh, make me enter upon every good that you made Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad enter, and take me out of every evil that you took Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad out of it, and the blessing of Allāh be upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.”’”

304. لَ إِلَهَ إِلَّ اللَُّ وَحْدَهُ لَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَ لَ ه الَْمْدُ يُْيِي وَ يُِيتُ وَ يُِيتُ وَ يُْيِي وَ هُوَ حَيٌّ لَ يَُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الَْيْرُ وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَ يءٍ قَدِيرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ وَ تَقُولُ أَعُوذُ بِللَِّ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ مِنْ هََزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَْضُرُونِ إِنَّ اللََّ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ\
   ‘There is no deity but Allāh, alone, without any partner. His is the Kingdom and all praise belongs to Him. He gives life and causes death, He causes death and gives life, and He is ever-living and does not die. In His hand is all good and He has power over all things.’ Then he should say ten times: ‘I seek refuge with Allāh,the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the whisperings of the devils and I seek Your refuge, O Lord, from their presence near me, indeed Allāh is All-Hearing, All-Knowing,’

305. اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِ فِ دِرْعِكَ الَْصِينَةِ الَّتِ تَْعَلُ فِيهَا مَنْ تُرِيدُ\
   ‘O Allāh, place me in your protective shield wherein You place those whom You wish.’

306. أَصْبَحْتُ وَ رَبِّ مَْمُودٌ أَصْبَحْتُ لَ أُشْرِكُ بِللَِّ شَيْئاً وَ لَ أَدْعُو مَعَهُ إِلَاً وَ لَ أَتَِّذُ مِنْ دُونِهِ وَلِيّاً\
   “I awake and my Lord be praised. I awake without ascribing anything as a partner to Allāh, and I do not call upon any other god with Him, nor do I take any guardian besides Him.”

307. إِذَا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ مَا أَصْبَحَتْ بِ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ عَافِيَةٍ فِ دِينٍ أَوْ دُنْيَا فَإِنَّهَا مِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ فَلَكَ الَْمْدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَ لَكَ الشُّكْرُ كَثِير\
   “I wake up taking You as my witness that whatever I have awoken with of blessings and wellbeing in my religion or of this world – it is all from You alone, without and partner. So, all praise belongs to You for this, and plentiful gratitude.”

308. أَسْتَوْدِعُ ﭐللَّهَ ﭐلْعَلِيَّ ﭐلأَعْلَىٰ\
   *astawdi\`u allaha al\`aliyya al-a\`la*\
   I entrust with Allah the Most High, the All-high,

309. ﭐلْجَلِيلَ ﭐلْعَظِيمَ\
   *aljalila al\`azima*\
   the All-majestic, and the All-great

310. نَفْسِي وَمَنْ يَعْنِينِي أَمْرُهُ\
   *nafsi wa man ya\`nini amruhu*\
   my self and whatever concerns me.

311. أَسْتَوْدِعُ ﭐللَّهَ نَفْسِي\
   *astawdi\`u allaha nafsi*\
   I entrust my self with Allah

312. ﭐلْمَرْهُوبَ ﭐلْمَخُوفَ\
   *almarhuba almakhufa*\
   the feared, the dreaded,

313. ﭐلْمُتَضَعْضِعَ لِعَظَمَتِهِ كُلُّ شَيْ‏ءٍ\
   *almutada\`di\`a li\`azamatihi kullu shay'in*\
   and to Whose greatness all things submit.

314. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِنْدَ إِقْبَالِ لَيْلِكَ\
   *allahumma inni as'aluka \`inda iqbali laylika*\
   O Allah, I beseech You at the coming of Your night,

315. وَإِدْبَارِ نَهَارِكَ\
   *wa idbari naharika*\
   the departure of Your daytime,

316. وَحُضُورِ صَلَوَاتِكَ\
   *wa huduri salawatika*\
   the presence of the prayers to You,

317. وَأَصْوَاتِ دُعَائِكَ\
   *wa aswati du\`a'ika*\
   and the voices of supplications to You

318. أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ…\
   *an tusalliya \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin…*\
   to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

319. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْنِي فِي دِرْعِكَ ٱلْحَصِينَةِ\
   *allahumma ij\`alni fi dir\`ika alhasinati*\
   O Allah, (please) include me with Your invulnerable shield

320. ٱلَّتِي تَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَنْ تُرِيدُ\
   *allati taj\`alu fiha man turidu*\
   with which You include whomever You want.

321. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ\
   *f bismi Allāhi al-Raḥmāni al-Raḥīmi*\
   In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

322. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ\
   *al-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī lam yattakhidh waladan wa lam yakun lahu sharīkun*\
   Praise be to Allah, who has not taken a son and has no partner

323. فِي الْمُلْكِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي يَصِفُ وَلَا يُوصَفُ\
   *fī al-mulki al-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī yaṣifu wa lā yūṣafu*\
   In the kingdom. Praise be to Allah, who describes and is not described,

324. وَيَعْلَمُ وَلَا يُعْلَمُ يَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ\
   *wa yaʿlamu wa lā yuʿlamu yaʿlamu khāʾinata al-ʾaʿyuni wa mā tukhfī al-ṣudūru*\
   And knows and is not known. He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the hearts conceal.

325. أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ الْكَرِيمِ وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ\
   *ʾaʿūdhu bi-wajhi Allāhi al-karīmi wa bi-smi Allāhi al-ʿaẓīmi*\
   I seek refuge in the noble countenance of Allah and in the name of Allah, the Great,

326. مِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ وَمَا بَرَأَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَحْتَ الثَّرَى\
   *min sharri mā dharaʾa wa mā baraʾa wa min sharri mā taḥta al-thará*\
   From the evil of what He created and originated, and from the evil of what is beneath the soil,

327. وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ظَهَرَ وَمَا بَطَنَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا كَانَ\
   *wa min sharri mā ẓahara wa mā baṭana wa min sharri mā kāna*\
   And from the evil of what is visible and what is hidden, and from the evil of what is

328. فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ أَبِي مُرَّةَ وَمَا وَلَدَ\
   *fī al-layli wa al-nahāri wa min sharri abī murrata wa mā walada*\
   In the night and the day, and from the evil of Abi Murrah and what he begets,

329. وَمِنْ شَرِّ الرَّسِيسِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا وَصَفْتُ وَمَا لَمْ أَصِفْ\
   *wa min sharri al-rasīsi wa min sharri mā waṣaftu wa mā lam aṣif*\
   And from the evil of ar-Rasees, and from the evil of what I have described and what I have not described.

330. فَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ\
   *fal-ḥamdu lillāhi rabbi al-ʿālamīna*\
   So praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
