## Text Each line gives the Arabic, then the transliteration in italics, then the English. 1. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alnnabiyyu*\ Peace be upon you, O Prophet 2. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\ *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\ and be upon you Allah’s mercy and blessings. 3. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ ٱلْمُرْسَلُ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alnnabiyyu almursalu*\ Peace be upon you, O missioned Prophet, 4. وَٱلْوَصِيُّ ٱلْمُرْتَضَىٰ\ *walwasiyyu almurtada*\ (and peace be upon you) O well-pleased successor (of the Prophet), 5. وَٱلسَّيِّدَةُ ٱلْكُبْرىٰ\ *walssayyidatu alkubra*\ (and peace be upon you) O grand lady, 6. وَٱلسَّيِّدَةُ ٱلزَّهْرَاءُ\ *walssayyidatu alzzahra'u*\ (and peace be upon you) O Luminous lady, 7. وَٱلسِّبْطَانِ ٱلْمُنْتَجَبَانِ\ *walssibtani almuntajabani*\ (and peace be upon you) O two elite grandsons (of the Prophet), 8. وَٱلأَوْلاَدُ ٱلأَعْلاَمُ\ *wal-awladu al-a\`lamu*\ (and peace be upon you) O descendants—the elite signs 9. وَٱلأُمَنَاءُ ٱلْمُنْتَجَبُونَ\ *wal'umana'u almuntajabuna*\ and the well-selected trustees. 10. جِئْتُ ٱنْقِطَاعاً إِلَيْكُمْ\ *ji'tu inqita\`an ilaykum*\ Here I am devoting myself to you, 11. وَإِلَىٰ آبَائِكُمْ وَوَلَدِكُمُ ٱلْخَلَفِ\ *wa ila aba'ikum wa waladikum alkhalafi*\ to your fathers, and to your son, the Successor 12. عَلَىٰ بَرَكَةِ ٱلْحَقِّ\ *\`ala barakati alhaqqi*\ on the blessing of the truth. 13. فَقَلْبِي لَكُمْ مُسَلِّمٌ\ *faqalbi lakum musallimun*\ My heart is thus subservient to you 14. وَنُصْرَتِي لَكُمْ مُعَدَّةٌ\ *wa nusrati lakum mu\`addatun*\ and my support is prepared for you 15. حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ ٱللَّهُ بِدِينِهِ\ *hatta yahkuma allahu bidinihi*\ until Allah will judge about His religion. 16. فَمَعَكُمْ مَعَكُمْ\ *fama\`akum ma\`akum*\ I am with you, indeed, with you 17. لاََ مَعَ عَدُوِّكُمْ\ *la ma\`a \`aduwwikum*\ but not with your enemy. 18. إِنِّي لَمِنَ ٱلْقَائِلينَ بِفَضْلِكُمْ\ *inni lamin alqa'ilina bifadlikum*\ I am one of them who believe in your superiority 19. مُقِرٌّ بِرَجْعَتِكُمْ\ *muqirrun biraj\`atikum*\ and I acknowledge your Return. 20. لاََ أُنْكِرُ لِلَّهِ قُدْرَةً\ *la unkiru lillahi qudratan*\ I never deny the all-powerfulness of Allah 21. وَلاَ أَزْعُمُ إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ\ *wa la az\`umu illa ma sha'a allahu*\ and I do not claim but that which Allah wills. 22. سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ ذِي ٱلْمُلْكِ وَٱلْمَلَكُوتِ\ *subhana allahi dhi almulki walmalakuti*\ Glory be to Allah, Lord of kingdom and realm. 23. يُسَبِّحُ ٱللَّهَ بِأَسْمَائِهِ جَميعُ خَلْقِهِ\ *yusabbihu allaha bi'asma'ihi jami\`u khalqihi*\ All His creatures glorify Allah by His Names. 24. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِكُمْ وَأَجْسَادِكُمْ\ *wa alssalamu \`ala arwahikum wa ajsadikum*\ Peace be upon your souls and your bodies. 25. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\ *wa alssalamu \`alaykum wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\ Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you all. 26. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ فِي أَرْضِهِ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ya hujjata allahi fi ardihi*\ Peace be upon you, O argument of Allah in His lands! 27. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَيْنَ ٱللَّهِ فِي خَلْقِهِ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ya \`ayna allahi fi khalqihi*\ Peace be upon you, O sight of Allah on His creatures! 28. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ya nura allahi*\ Peace be upon you, O light of Allah 29. ٱلَّذِي يَهْتَدِي بِهِ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ\ *alladhi yahtadi bihi almuhtaduna*\ by which those who have been guided \[to the true guidance\] are guided 30. وَيُفَرَّجُ بِهِ عَنِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *wa yufarraju bihi \`an almu'minina*\ and by which the believers are relieved! 31. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُهَذَّبُ ٱلْخَائِفُ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha almuhadhdhabu alkha'ifu*\ Peace be upon you, O polite and fearful! 32. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْوَلِيُّ ٱلنَّاصِحُ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ayyuha alwaliyyu alnnasihu*\ Peace be upon you, O sincere patron! 33. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا سَفِينَةَ ٱلنَّجَاةِ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ya safinata alnnajati*\ Peace be upon you, O ark of salvation! 34. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَيْنَ ٱلْحَيَاةِ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ya \`ayna alhayati*\ Peace be upon you, O essence of life! 35. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ\ *alssalamu \`alayka*\ Peace be upon you. 36. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ\ *salla allahu \`alayka*\ May Allah send blessings to you 37. وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ\ *wa \`ala ali baytika*\ and upon your Household, 38. ٱلطَّيِّبينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ\ *alttayyibina alttahirina*\ the pure and immaculate. 39. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ\ *alssalamu \`alayka*\ Peace be upon you. 40. عَجَّلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكَ مَا وَعَدَكَ\ *\`ajjala allahu laka ma wa\`adaka*\ May Allah hasten that which He has promised you; 41. مِنَ ٱلنَّصْرِ وَظُهُورِ ٱلأَمْرِ\ *mina alnnasri wa zuhuri al-amri*\ namely, victory and prevalence of your authority. 42. اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ\ *alssalamu \`alayka ya mawlaya*\ Peace be upon you, O my master. 43. أَنَا مَوْلاَكَ\ *ana mawlaka*\ I am a servant of you 44. عَارِفٌ بِأُولاَكَ وَأُخْرَاكَ\ *\`arifun bi'ulaka wa ukhraka*\ and I recognize the first and the last of your affair. 45. أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ بِكَ وَبِآلِ بَيْتِكَ\ *ataqarrabu ila allahi ta\`ala bika wa bi-ali baytika*\ I seek nearness to Allah, the Exalted, through your Household and you 46. وَأَنْتَظِرُ ظُهُورَكَ وَظُهُورَ ٱلْحَقِّ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْكَ\ *wa antaziru zuhuraka wa zuhura alhaqqi \`ala yadayka*\ and I am expecting your advent and the prevalence of the truth at your hands. 47. وَأَسْأَلُ ٱللَّهَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *wa as'alu allaha an yusalliya \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ And I beseech Allah to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, 48. وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلمُنْتَظِرِينَ لَكَ\ *wa an yaj\`alani mina almuntazirina laka*\ and to include me with those who are expecting you, 49. وَٱلتَّابِعِينَ وَٱلنَّاصِرِينَ لَكَ عَلَىٰ أَعْدَائِكَ\ *walttabi\`ina walnnasirina laka \`ala a\`da'ika*\ those who follow you and support you against your enemies, 50. وَٱلْمُسْتَشْهَدِينَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ فِي جُمْلَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ\ *walmustash-hadina bayna yadayka fi jumlati awliya'ika*\ and those who will be martyred in front of you in the group of your loyalists. 51. يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ\ *ya mawlaya ya sahiba alzzamani*\ O my master, O Patron of the Age! 52. صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ\ *salawatu allahi \`alayka*\ May Allah’s blessings be upon you 53. وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ\ *wa \`ala ali baytika*\ and upon your Household. 54. هٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْجُمُعَةِ\ *hadha yawmu aljumu\`ati*\ Today is Friday, 55. وَهُوَ يَوْمُكَ ٱلْمُتَوَقَّعُ فِيهِ ظُهُورُكَ\ *wa huwa yawmuka almutawaqqa\`u fihi zuhuruka*\ which is your day on which your advent is expected 56. وَٱلْفَرَجُ فِيهِ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْكَ\ *walfaraju fihi lilmu'minina \`ala yadayka*\ to bring about relief to the believers at your hands, 57. وَقَتْلُ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ بِسَيْفِكَ\ *wa qatlu alkafirina bisayfika*\ and killing of the disbelievers with your sword. 58. وَأَنَا يَا مَوْلاَيَ فِيهِ ضَيْفُكَ وَجَارُكَ\ *wa ana ya mawlaya fihi dayfuka wa jaruka*\ On this day, O my master, I am your guest and in your vicinity 59. وَأَنْتَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ كَرِيمٌ مِنْ أَوْلاَدِ ٱلْكِرَامِ\ *wa anta ya mawlaya karimun min awladi alkirami*\ and you, my master, are generous and the descendant of the generous people, 60. وَمَاْمُورٌ بِٱلضِّيَافَةِ وَٱلإِجَارَةِ\ *wa ma'murun bilddiyafati wal-ijarati*\ and you are commanded to receive your guests and neighbors hospitably; 61. فَأَضِفْنِي وَأَجِرْنِي\ *fa-adifni wa ajirni*\ so, receive me as your guest and neighbor. 62. صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ\ *salawatu allahi \`alayka*\ May Allah’s blessings be upon you 63. وَعَلىٰ أَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلطَّاهِرينَ\ *wa \`ala ahli baytika alttahirina*\ and upon your Household, the immaculate. 64. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ\ *bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi*\ In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. 65. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ سَيِّدِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin sayyidi almursalina*\ O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad, the master of the messengers (of Allah), 66. وَخَاتَمِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ\ *wa khatami alnnabiyyina*\ the seal of the Prophets, 67. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the Argument of the Lord of the worlds \[against His creatures\] 68. ٱلْمُنْتَجَبِ فِي ٱلْمِيثَاقِ\ *almuntajabi fi almithaqi*\ who had been elected \[for Prophethood\] since the Covenant 69. ٱلْمُصْطَفَىٰ فِي ٱلظِّلاَلِ\ *almustafa fi alzzilali*\ and chosen since the World of Shadows, 70. ٱلْمُطَهَّرِ مِنْ كُلِّ آفَةٍ\ *almutahhari min kulli afatin*\ and who is purified from all defects 71. ٱلْبَرِيءِ مِنْ كُلِّ عَيْبٍ\ *albari'i min kulli \`aybin*\ and freed from all deficiencies, 72. ٱلْمُؤَمَّلِ لِلنَّجَاةِ\ *almu'ammali lilnnajati*\ and who is hoped for salvation 73. ٱلْمُرْتَجَىٰ لِلشَّفَاعَةِ\ *almurtaja lilshshafa\`ati*\ and expected for intercession, 74. ٱلْمُفَوَّضِ إِلَيْهِ دِينُ ٱللَّهِ\ *almufawwadi ilayhi dinu allahi*\ and to whom the religion of Allah is delegated. 75. اَللَّهُمَّ شَرِّفْ بُنْيَانَهُ\ *allahumma sharrif bunyanahu*\ O Allah, (please) confer honor upon his structure, 76. وَعَظِّمْ بُرْهَانَهُ\ *wa \`azzim burhanahu*\ ennoble his authority, 77. وَأَفْلِجْ حُجَّتَهُ\ *wa aflij hujjatahu*\ make successful his cogency, 78. وَٱرْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ\ *warfa\` darajatahu*\ lift up his rank, 79. وَأَضِئْ نُورَهُ\ *wa adi' nurahu*\ light up his illumination, 80. وَبَيِّضْ وَجْهَهُ\ *wa bayyid wajhahu*\ make his face glow with whiteness, 81. وَأَعْطِهِ ٱلْفَضْلَ وَٱلْفَضِيلَةَ\ *wa a\`tihi alfadla walfadilata*\ grant him merit, virtue, 82. وَٱلْمَنْزِلَةَ وَٱلْوَسِيلَةَ\ *walmanzilata walwasilata*\ \[supreme\] position, \[right of\] mediation, 83. وَٱلدَّرَجَةَ ٱلرَّفِيعَةَ\ *walddarajata alrrafi\`ata*\ and sublime rank, 84. وَٱبْعَثْهُ مَقَاماً مَحْمُوداً\ *wab\`athhu maqaman mahmudan*\ and send him a praiseworthy status 85. يَغْبِطُهُ بِهِ ٱلأَوَّلُونَ وَٱلآخِرُونَ\ *yaghbituhu bihi al-awwaluna wal-akhiruna*\ which the past and last generations will wish to have. 86. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *wa salli \`ala amiri almu'minina*\ And send blessings to Ali, the Commander of the Believers, 87. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 88. وَقَائِدِ ٱلْغُرِّ ٱلُمحَجَّلِينَ\ *wa qa'idi alghurri almuhajjalina*\ the leader of the white-forehead groups, 89. وَسَيِّدِ ٱلْوَصِيِّينَ\ *wa sayyidi alwasiyyina*\ the chief of the Prophets’ Successors, 90. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 91. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ\ *wa salli \`ala alhasani bni \`aliyyin*\ And send blessings to al-Hasan, the son of Ali, 92. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 93. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 94. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 95. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ\ *wa salli \`ala alhusayni bni \`aliyyin*\ And send blessings to al-Husayn, the son of Ali, 96. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 97. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 98. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 99. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ عَلِيِّ بْنِ ٱلْحُسَيْنِ\ *wa salli \`ala \`aliyyi bni alhusayni*\ And send blessings to Ali, the son of al-Husayn, 100. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 101. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 102. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 103. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ\ *wa salli \`ala muhammadi bni \`aliyyin*\ And send blessings to Muhammad, the son of Ali, 104. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 105. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 106. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 107. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *wa salli \`ala ja\`fari bni muhammadin*\ And send blessings to Ja'far, the son of Muhammad, 108. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 109. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 110. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 111. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ\ *wa salli \`ala musa bni ja\`farin*\ And send blessings to Musa, the son of Ja'far, 112. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 113. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 114. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 115. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَىٰ\ *wa salli \`ala \`aliyyi bni musa*\ And send blessings to Ali, the son of Musa, 116. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 117. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 118. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 119. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ\ *wa salli \`ala muhammadi bni \`aliyyin*\ And send blessings to Muhammad, the son of Ali, 120. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 121. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 122. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 123. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *wa salli \`ala \`aliyyi bni muhammadin*\ And send blessings to Ali, son of Muhammad, 124. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 125. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 126. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 127. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ\ *wa salli \`ala alhasani bni \`aliyyin*\ And send blessings to al-Hasan, son of Ali, 128. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 129. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 130. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 131. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلْخَلَفِ ٱلْهَادِي ٱلْمَهْدِيِّ\ *wa salli \`ala alkhalafi alhadi almahdiyyi*\ And send blessings to the Successor, the guide and well-guided, 132. إِمَامِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ\ *imami almu'minina*\ the leader of the faithful believers, 133. وَوَارِثِ ٱلْمُرْسَلينَ\ *wa warithi almursalina*\ the inheritor of the Messengers, 134. وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ\ *wa hujjati rabbi al\`alamina*\ and the argument of the Lord of the worlds. 135. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ahli baytihi*\ O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household, 136. ٱلأَئِمَّةِ ٱلْهَادِينَ\ *al-a'immati alhadina*\ the guiding Imams, 137. ٱلْعُلَمَاءِ ٱلصَّادِقِينَ\ *al\`ulama'i alssadiqina*\ the knowledgeable, the veracious, 138. ٱلأَبْرَارِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ\ *al-abrari almuttaqina*\ the righteous, the pious, 139. دَعَائِمِ دِينِكَ\ *da\`a'imi dinika*\ the supports of Your religion, 140. وَأَرْكَانِ تَوْحِيدِكَ\ *wa arkani tawhidika*\ the pillars of the belief in Your Oneness, 141. وَتَرَاجِمَةِ وَحْيِكَ\ *wa tarajimati wahyika*\ the interpreters of Your Revelation, 142. وَحُجَجِكَ عَلَىٰ خَلْقِكَ\ *wa hujajika \`ala khalqika*\ Your arguments on Your creatures, 143. وَخُلَفَائِكَ فِي أَرْضِكَ\ *wa khulafa'ika fi ardika*\ and Your representatives in Your lands, 144. ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَرْتَهُمْ لِنَفْسِكَ\ *alladhina ikhtartahum linafsika*\ whom You have chosen for Yourself, 145. وَٱصْطَفَيْتَهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِكَ\ *wa istafaytahum \`ala \`ibadika*\ You have preferred over Your servants, 146. وَٱرْتَضَيْتَهُمْ لِدِينِكَ\ *wa irtadaytahum lidinika*\ You have accepted (as directors) of Your religion, 147. وَخَصَصْتَهُمْ بِمَعْرِفَتِكَ\ *wa khasastahum bima\`rifatika*\ You have given Your knowledge exclusively, 148. وَجَلَّلْتَهُمْ بِكَرَامَتِكَ\ *wa jallaltahum bikaramatika*\ shaded with Your honoring, 149. وَغَشَّيْتَهُمْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ\ *wa ghashshaytahum birahmatika*\ covered with Your mercy, 150. وَرَبَّيْتَهُمْ بِنِعْمَتِكَ\ *wa rabbaytahum bini\`matika*\ raised with Your boon, 151. وَغَذَّيْتَهُمْ بِحِكْمَتِكَ\ *wa ghadhdhaytahum bihikmatika*\ fed on Your wisdom, 152. وَأَلْبَسْتَهُمْ نُورَكَ\ *wa albastahum nuraka*\ dressed Your Light, 153. وَرَفَعْتَهُمْ فِي مَلَكُوتِكَ\ *wa rafa\`tahum fi malakutika*\ lifted up to Your Sovereignty, 154. وَحَفَفْتَهُمْ بِمَلاَئِكَتِكَ\ *wa hafaftahum bimla'ikatika*\ encompassed with Your angels, 155. وَشَرَّفْتَهُمْ بِنَبِيِّكَ\ *wa sharraftahum binabiyyika*\ and honored with Your Prophet, 156. صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\ *salawatuka \`alayhi wa alihi*\ peace of You be upon him and his Household. 157. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَيْهِمْ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa \`alayhim*\ O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad and upon them 158. صلاَةً زَاكِيَةً نَامِيَةً\ *salatan zakiyatan namiyatan*\ with blessings that are so pure, ever-growing, 159. كَثِيرَةً دَائِمَةً طَيِّبَةً\ *kathiratan da'imatan tayyibatan*\ opulent, permanent, and good 160. لاَ يُحيطُ بِهَا إِلاَّ أَنْتَ\ *la yuhitu biha illa anta*\ that none can comprehend save You, 161. وَلاَ يَسَعُهَا إِلاَّ عِلْمُكَ\ *wa la yasa\`uha illa \`ilmuka*\ none can embrace save Your knowledge, 162. وَلاَ يُحْصِيهَا أَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ\ *wa la yuhsiha ahadun ghayruka*\ and none can count save You. 163. اَللَّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ وَلِيِّكَ\ *allahumma wa salli \`ala waliyyka*\ O Allah, and also send blessings to Your Friend 164. ٱلْمُحْيِي سُنَّتَكَ\ *almuhyi sunnataka*\ who will restore Your way, 165. ٱلْقَائِمِ بِأَمْرِكَ\ *alqa'imi bi-amrika*\ rise \[to undertake the mission\] by Your command, 166. ٱلدَّاعِي إِلَيْكَ\ *aldda\`i ilayka*\ call to You, 167. ٱلدَّليلِ عَلَيْكَ\ *alddalili \`alayka*\ and guide to You. 168. حُجَّتِكَ عَلَىٰ خَلْقِكَ\ *hujjatika \`ala khalqika*\ \[He is\] Your argument against Your creatures, 169. وَخَلِيفَتِكَ فِي أَرْضِكَ\ *wa khalifatika fi ardika*\ Your representative in Your lands, 170. وَشَاهِدِكَ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِكَ\ *wa shahidika \`ala \`ibadika*\ and Your witness on Your servants. 171. اَللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ نَصْرَهُ\ *allahumma a\`izza nasrahu*\ O Allah, (please) confer upon him with a mighty help, 172. وَمُدَّ فِي عُمْرِهِ\ *wa mudda fi \`umrihi*\ extend his lifetime, 173. وَزَيِّنِ ٱلأَرْضَ بِطُولِ بَقَائِهِ\ *wa zayyin al-arda bituli baqa'ihi*\ and adorn the earth with his long-lasting survival. 174. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱكْفِهِ بَغْيَ ٱلْحَاسِدِينَ\ *allahumma ikfihi baghya alhasidina*\ O Allah, (please) save him from the oppression of the enviers, 175. وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ ٱلْكَائِدِينَ\ *wa a\`idh-hu min sharri alka'idina*\ protect him against the evils of the plotters, 176. وَٱزْجُرْ عَنْهُ إِرَادَةَ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ\ *wazjur \`anhu iradata alzzalimina*\ deter the unjust from employing their wills against him, 177. وَخَلِّصْهُ مِنْ أَيْدِي ٱلْجَبَّارِينَ\ *wa khallishu min aydi aljabbarina*\ and redeem him from the hands (i.e. powers) of the tyrants. 178. اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِهِ فِي نَفْسِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ\ *allahumma a\`tihi fi nafsihi wa dhurriyyatihi*\ O Allah, (please) grant him, concerning himself, his offspring, 179. وَشِيعَتِهِ وَرَعِيَّتِهِ\ *wa shi\`atihi wa ra\`iyyatihi*\ his partisans, his subjects, 180. وَخَاصَّتِهِ وَعَامَّتِهِ\ *wa khassatihi wa \`ammatihi*\ his retinue, his publics, 181. وَعَدُوِّهِ وَجَميعِ أَهْلِ ٱلدُّنْيَا\ *wa \`aduwwihi wa jami\`i ahli alddunya*\ \[even\] his enemies, and all the inhabitants of this world— 182. مَا تُقِرُّ بِهِ عَيْنَهُ\ *ma tuqirru bihi \`aynahu*\ \[give him\] that which delights his eye 183. وَتَسُرُّ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ\ *wa tasurru bihi nafsahu*\ and entertains his self; 184. وَبَلِّغْهِ أَفْضَلَ مَا أَمَّلَهُ\ *wa balligh-hu afdala ma ammalahu*\ and make him attain the best of that which he desires 185. فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلآخِرَةِ\ *fi alddunya wal-akhirati*\ in this world and the Next Word. 186. إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ\ *innaka \`ala kulli shay'in qadirun*\ Indeed, You have power over all things. 187. اَللَّهُمَّ جَدِّدْ بِهِ مَا ٱمَتَحَىٰ مِنْ دِينِكَ\ *allahumma jaddid bihi ma imtaha min dinika*\ O Allah, renew, through him, the features of Your religion that have been eradicated, 188. أَحْيِ بِهِ مَا بُدِّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ\ *wa ahyi bihi ma buddila min kitabika*\ revive, through him, the instructions of Your Books that have been altered, 189. وَأَظْهِرْ بِهِ مَا غُيِّرَ مِنْ حُكْمِكَ\ *wa azhir bihi ma ghuyyira min hukmika*\ and manifest, through him, the laws of Your code that have been distorted 190. حَتَّىٰ يَعُودَ دِينُكَ بِهِ وَعَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ\ *hatta ya\`uda dinuka bihi wa \`ala yadayhi*\ so that Your religion, through him and at his hands, will again become 191. غَضّاً جَدِيداً\ *ghaddan jadidan*\ fresh, new, 192. خَالِصاً مُخْلَصاً\ *khalisan mukhlasan*\ pure, sound, 193. لاَ شَكَّ فِيهِ وَلاَ شُبْهَةَ مَعَهُ\ *la shakka fihi wa la shubhata ma\`ahu*\ free from any doubt or any spurious matter, 194. وَلاَ بَاطِلَ عِنْدَهُ وَلاَ بِدْعَةَ لَدَيْهِ\ *wa la batila \`indahu wa la bid\`ata ladayhi*\ and lacking any accompanying wrong or heresy. 195. اَللَّهُمَّ نَوِّرْ بِنُورِهِ كُلَّ ظُلْمَةٍ\ *allahumma nawwir binurihi kulla zulmatin*\ O Allah, through his light, light up all darkness, 196. وَهُدَّ بِرُكْنِهِ كُلَّ بِدْعَةٍ\ *wa hudda biruknihi kulla bid\`atin*\ through his power, demolish all heresies, 197. وَٱهْدِمْ بِعِزِّهِ كُلَّ ضَلاَلَةٍ\ *wahdim bi\`izzihi kulla dalalatin*\ through his might, destroy all items of deviation, 198. وَٱقْصِمْ بِهِ كُلَّ جَبَّارٍ\ *waqsim bihi kulla jabbarin*\ through him, annihilate all tyrants, 199. وَأَخْمِدْ بِسَيْفِهِ كُلَّ نَارٍ\ *wa akhmid bisayfihi kulla narin*\ though his sword, extinguish all fires \[of sedition\], 200. وَأَهْلِكْ بِعَدْلِهِ جَوْرَ كُلِّ جَائِرٍ\ *wa ahlik bi\`adlihi jawra kulli ja'irin*\ through his justice, terminate the prejudice of all unjust ones, 201. وَأَجْرِ حُكْمَهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ حُكْمٍ\ *wa ajri hukmahu \`ala kulli hukmin*\ make his rule prevail on all systems of rule, 202. وَأَذِلَّ بِسُلْطَانِهِ كُلَّ سُلْطَانٍ\ *wa adhilla bisultanihi kulla sultanin*\ and through his authority, humiliate all other authorities. 203. اَللَّهُمَّ أَذِلَّ كُلَّ مَنْ نَاوَاهُ\ *allahumma adhilla kulla man nawahu*\ O Allah, (please) put down all those who antagonize him, 204. وَأَهْلِكْ كُلَّ مَنْ عَادَاهُ\ *wa ahlik kulla man \`adahu*\ wipe out all those who incur the hostility of him, 205. وَٱمْكُرْ بِمَنْ كَادَهُ\ *wamkur biman kadahu*\ exterminate the plots of all those who conspire against him, 206. وَٱسْتَأْصِلْ مَنْ جَحَدَهُ حَقَّهُ\ *wasta'sil man jahadahu haqqhu*\ and obliterate all those who deny his right, 207. وَٱسْتَهَانَ بِأَمْرِهِ\ *wastahana bi-amrihi*\ belittle his mission, 208. وَسَعَىٰ فِي إِطْفَاءِ نُورِهِ\ *wa sa\`a fi itfa'i nurihi*\ work on extinguishing his light, 209. وَأَرَادَ إِخْمَادَ ذِكْرِهِ\ *wa arada ikhmada dhikrihi*\ and intend to turn off his reputation. 210. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْمُصْطَفَىٰ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin almustafa*\ O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad, the Chosen Prophet, 211. وَعَلِيٍّ ٱلْمُرْتَضَىٰ\ *wa \`aliyyin almurtada*\ Ali, the Well-pleased, 212. وَفَاطِمَةَ ٱلزَّهْرَاءِ\ *wa fatimata alzzahra'i*\ Fatima, the Luminous, 213. وَٱلْحَسَنِ ٱلرِّضَا\ *walhasani alrrida*\ al-Hasan, the amicable, 214. وَٱلْحُسَيْنِ ٱلْمُصَفَّىٰ\ *walhusayni almusaffa*\ al-Husayn, the purified, 215. وَجَميعِ ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ مَصَابيحِ ٱلدُّجَىٰ\ *wa jami\`i al-awsya'i masabihi aldduja*\ and all the Successors, the lanterns of darkness, 216. وَأَعْلاَمِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ\ *wa a\`lami alhuda*\ the signs of true guidance, 217. وَمَنَارِ التُّقَىٰ\ *wa manari alttuqa*\ the lamps of piety, 218. وَٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ\ *wal\`urwati alwuthqa*\ the firmest handle, 219. وَٱلْحَبْلِ ٱلْمَتينِ\ *walhabli almatini*\ the resolved rope \[between Allah and His creatures\], 220. وَٱلصِّرَاطِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ\ *walssirati almustaqimi*\ and the straight path. 221. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ وَلِيِّكَ وَوُلاَةِ عَهْدِكَ\ *wa salli \`ala waliyyika wa wulati \`ahdika*\ And (please) send blessings to Your Friend and the trustees of Your affairs 222. وَٱلأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ\ *wal-a'immati min wuldihi*\ and the Imams from his descendants, 223. وَمُدَّ فِي أَعْمَارِهِمْ\ *wa mudda fi a\`marihim*\ extend their lifetimes, 224. وَزِدْ فِي آجَالِهِمْ\ *wa zid fi ajalihim*\ increase their periods of life, 225. وَبَلِّغْهُمْ أَقْصَىٰ آمَالِهِمْ\ *wa balligh-hum aqsa amalihim*\ and make them attain the utmost of their expectations 226. دِيناً وَدُنْياً وَآخِرَةً\ *dinan wa dunyan wa akhiratan*\ in the religion, the world, and the Hereafter. 227. إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ\ *innaka \`ala kulli shay'in qadirun*\ Indeed, You have power over all things. 228. «إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلاَئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَىٰ ٱلنَّبِيِّ\ *inna allaha wa mala'ikatahu yusalluna \`ala alnnabiyyi*\ “Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. 229. يَا أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذينَ آمَنُوٱ صَلُّوٱ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوٱ تَسْليماً.»\ *ya ayyuha alladhina amanu sallu \`alayhi wa sallimu tasliman*\ O you who believe, ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” 230. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ O Allah, send peace upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, 231. وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *wa barik \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, 232. وَتَحَنَّنْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *wa tahannan \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ have compassion upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, 233. وَسَلِّمْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *wa sallim \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ and send benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad 234. كَأَفْضَلَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ\ *ka'afdali ma sallayta wa barakta*\ as much as You have sent peace, blessings, 235. وَتَرَحَّمْتَ وَتَحَنَّنْتَ\ *wa tarahhamta wa tahannanta*\ mercy, compassion, 236. وَسَلَّمْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ\ *wa sallamta \`ala ibrahima wa ali ibrahima*\ and benedictions upon (Prophet) Abraham and the Household of Abraham. 237. إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ\ *innaka hamidun majidun*\ You are indeed, Owner of praise, Owner of glory. 238. اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً ٱلْوَسيلَةَ\ *allahumma a\`ti muhammadan alwasilata*\ O Allah, give Muhammad \[the right of\] mediation, 239. وَٱلشَّرَفَ وَٱلْفَضيلَةَ\ *walshsharafa walfadilata*\ honor, virtue, 240. وَٱلْمَنْزِلَةَ ٱلْكَريمَةَ\ *walmanzilata alkarimata*\ and noble rank. 241. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *allahumma ij\`al muhammadan wa ala muhammadin*\ O Allah, make Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad 242. أَعْظَمَ ٱلْخَلاَئِقِ كُلِّهِمْ شَرَفاً يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ\ *a\`zama alkhala'iqi kullihim sharafan yawma alqiyamati*\ to be the most honored of all Your creatures on the Resurrection Day, 243. وَأَقْرَبَهُمْ مِنْكَ مَقْعَداً\ *wa aqrabahum minka maq\`adan*\ the closest to You in position, 244. وَأَوْجَهَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ جَاهاً\ *wa awjahahum \`indaka yawma alqiyamati jahan*\ the most notable with You on the Resurrection Day, 245. وَأَفْضَلَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلَةً وَنَصيباً\ *wa afdalahum \`indaka manzilatan wa nasiban*\ and the most favorable in title and status. 246. اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً أَشْرَفَ ٱلْمَقَامِ\ *allahumma a\`ti muhammadan ashrafa almaqami*\ O Allah, give Muhammad the most honorable position, 247. وَحِبَاءَ ٱلسَّلاَمِ\ *wa hiba'a alssalami*\ the most abundant salutation, 248. وَشَفَاعَةَ ٱلإِسْلاَمِ\ *wa shafa\`ata al-islami*\ and the intercession of Islam. 249. اَللَّهُمَّ وَأَلْحِقْنَا بِهِ غَيْرَ خَزَايَا وَلاَ نَاكِثِينَ\ *allahumma wa alhiqna bihi ghayra khazaya wa la nakithina*\ O Allah, join us to him while we are neither disgraced, nor violating, 250. وَلاَ نَادِمِينَ وَلاَ مُبَدِّلِينَ\ *wa la nadimina wa la mubaddilina*\ nor regretful, nor distorting. 251. إِلٰهَ ٱلْحَقِّ آمينَ\ *ilaha alhaqqi amina*\ O God of all worlds, respond to us. 252. بِسْمِ الله الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ\ *Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm*\ In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate 253. اَللَّهُمَ إِنَّ مُحَمَّدَاً كَمَا وَصَفْتَهُ في كِتَابكَ\ *Allāhumma inna Muḥammadan kamā waṣaftahu fī kitābik*\ O Allah, indeed Muhammad is as You described him in Your Book 254. حَيْثُ تَقُولُ ﴿لَقَدْ جاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ﴾\ *Ḥaythu taqūlu (Laqad jā’akum rasūlun min anfusikum)*\ Where You say, "There has come to you a Messenger from among yourselves" 255. عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ\ *‘Azīzun ‘alayhi mā ‘anittum ḥarīṣun ‘alaykum*\ It grieves him that you should perish; he is deeply concerned for you 256. بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَؤُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ\ *Bil-mu’minīna ra’ūfun raḥīm*\ To the believers, he is compassionate and merciful 257. فَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ كَذلِكَ\ *Fa-ashhadu annahu kadhālika*\ So I bear witness that he is as You described him 258. وَأَنَّكَ لَمْ تَأْمُرْ بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهِ\ *Wa annaka lam ta’mur bi-ṣṣalāti ‘alayh*\ And that You did not command prayers upon him, 259. إلاَّ بَعْدَ أَنْ صَلَّيْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْتَ وَمَلاَئِكَتُكَ\ *Illā ba‘da an ṣallayta ‘alayhi anta wa malā’ikatuk*\ Except after You and Your angels prayed upon him 260. وَأَنْزَلْتَ فِي مُحْكَمِ قُرْآنِكَ ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ﴾\ *Wa anzalta fī muḥkam Qur’ānika (Inna Allāha wa malā’ikatuhu)*\ And You revealed in Your clear Qur’an, "Indeed, Allah and His angels" 261. يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﴾\ *Yuṣallūna ‘ala al-nabiyy*\ Send blessings upon the Prophet 262. يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيماً\ *Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū ṣallū ‘alayhi wa sallimū taslīmā*\ O you who have believed, ask \[Allah to confer\] blessing upon him and ask \[Allah to grant him\] peace 263. لاَ لِحَاجَةٍ إِلى صَلاَةِ أحَدٍ\ *Lā li-ḥājatin ilā ṣalāti aḥadin*\ Not out of need for the prayer of any of the creatures, 264. مِنْ المَخْلُوقِينَ بَعدَ صَلاتِكَ عَلَيْهِ\ *Min al-makhlūqīn ba‘da ṣalātik ‘alayh*\ From the created beings after Your prayer upon him, 265. وَلاَ إِلَى تَزْكِيَتِهِمْ إِيَّاهُ بَعْدَ تَزْكِيَتِكَ\ *Wa lā ilā tazkiyatihim iyyāh ba‘da tazkiyatika*\ Nor to their purifying him after Your purification of him, 266. بَلِ الْخَلْقُ جَميِعاً هُمْ الْمُحْتَاجُونَ إلى ذلِكَ\ *Bal al-khalqu jamī‘an hum al-muḥtājūn ilā dhālik*\ Rather, all creatures are in need of that 267. لأَنَّكَ جَعَلْتُهُ بَابَكَ الَّذِي\ *Li’annaka ja‘altahu bābaka alladhī*\ Because You made him Your door, 268. لاَ تَقْبَلُ مِمَّنْ أَتَاكَ إِلاَّ مِنْهُ\ *Lā taqbal min man atāk illā minhu*\ From which You do not accept anyone except through him 269. وَجَعَلْتَ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهِ قُرْبَةً مِنْكَ\ *Wa ja‘alta al-ṣalāti ‘alayh qurba minnak*\ And You made the prayer upon him a means of drawing near to You, 270. وَوَسِيلَةً إِلَيْكَ وَزُلْفَةً عِنْدَكَ\ *Wa wasīlatan ilayk wa zulfa ‘indak*\ And a means to You and a closeness in Your presence 271. وَدَلَلْتَ المُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْه وَأَمْرتهم بِالصَلاةِ عَلَيْهِ\ *Wa dalalta al-mu’minīn ‘alayh wa amartahum bi-ṣṣalāti ‘alayh*\ And You guided the believers to him and commanded them to pray upon him, 272. لِيَزْدَادُوا أَثْرَةً لَدَيْكَ وَكَرَامَةً عَلَيْكَ\ *Li-yazdādū athratan ladayka wa karāmatan ‘alayk*\ So they may increase in preference with You and honor in Your sight 273. وَوَكَّلْتَ بِالْمُصَلِّينَ عَلَيْهِ ملاَئِكَتَكَ\ *Wa wakalta bi-al-muṣallīn ‘alayh malā’ikatak*\ And You entrusted Your angels with those who pray upon him, 274. يُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِ وَيُبَلِّغُونَهُ صَلَواتِهمْ\ *Yuṣallūna ‘alayhi wa yuballighūnahu ṣalawātihim*\ They pray upon him and convey their prayers to him, 275. وَتَسْلِيمَهُم\ *Wa taslīmahum*\ And their greetings of peace 276. اَللّهُمَّ رَبَّ مُحَّمَدٍ صَلّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ\ *Allāhumma rabba Muḥammad ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayh wa ālih*\ O Allah, the Lord of Muhammad, may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his family 277. فَإِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا عَظَّمْتَ مِنْ أَمْرِ مُحَّمَدٍ\ *Fa-innī as’aluka bimā ‘aẓẓamta min amri Muḥammad*\ Indeed, I ask You by what You have magnified of the matter of Muhammad, 278. وَأَوْجَبْتَ مِنْ حَقِّهِ\ *Wa awjabta min ḥaqqih*\ And what You have made obligatory of his right, 279. أَنْ تُطْلِقَ لِسَانِي مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهِ\ *An tuṭliqa lisānī mina al-ṣalāti ‘alayh*\ That You set my tongue free to pray upon him, 280. بِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضى\ *Bimā tuḥibb wa tarḍā*\ In what You love and are pleased with, 281. وَبِمَا لَمْ تُطْلِقْ بِهِ لِسَانَ أَحَدٍ\ *Wa bimā lam tuṭliq bihi lisān aḥad*\ And in what You have not set free the tongue of anyone, 282. مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَلَمْ تُعْطِهِ إِيَّاهُ\ *Min khalqika wa lam tu‘ṭihi iyyāh*\ From Your creation, and have not granted him 283. ثُمَّ تُؤْتِيِنِي عَلَى ذلِكَ مُرَافَقَتَهُ\ *Thumma tu’tīnī ‘alā dhālik murāfaqatih*\ Then grant me, through that, his companionship, 284. حَيْثُ أَحْلَلْتَهُ عَلَى قُدْسِكَ\ *Ḥaythu aḥlaltahu ‘alā qudsik*\ Where You have placed him in Your sanctity, 285. وَجَنَّاتِ فِرْدَوْسِكَ\ *Wa jannāti firdawsik*\ And the gardens of Your paradise 286. ثُمَّ لاَ تُفَرِّقْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ\ *Thumma lā tufarriq baynī wa baynah*\ Then do not separate me from him 287. اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَبْدَأُ بِالشَّهَادَةِ لَهُ\ *Allāhumma innī abda’u bi-al-shahādati lah*\ O Allah, I begin with bearing witness to him, 288. ثُمَّ بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهِ\ *Thumma bi-al-ṣalāti ‘alayh*\ Then with the prayer upon him, 289. وَإِنْ كُنْتُ لاَ أَبْلُغُ مِنْ ذلِكَ رِضى نَفْسِي\ *Wa in kuntu lā ablughu min dhālik riḍā nafsī*\ And if I do not reach, through that, the satisfaction of myself, 290. وَلاَ يُعَبّرُهُ لِسَاني عَنْ ضَمِيري\ *Wa lā yu‘abbiruhu lisānī ‘an ḍamīrī*\ Nor my tongue expresses what is in my heart, 291. ولاَ أُلاَمُ عَلَى التَّقْصِير مِنّي\ *Wa lā ulāmu ‘ala al-taqṣīr minnī*\ Nor am I blamed for my shortcoming, 292. لِعَجْزِ قُدْرَتِي عَنْ بُلُوغِ الْوَاجِبِ عَلَيَّ\ *Li-‘ajz qudratī ‘an bulūgh al-wājib ‘alayy*\ Due to my inability to fulfill what is obligatory upon me, 293. مِنْهُ لأَنَّهُ حَظُّ لِي\ *Minhu li-annahu ḥaẓẓun lī*\ From him, because it is my portion, 294. وَحَقٌ عَلَيَّ وَأَدَاءٌ لِمَا أَوْجَبْتَ\ *Wa ḥaqqun ‘alayy wa adā’un limā awjabta*\ And a right upon me and fulfillment of what You have made obligatory, 295. لَهُ فِي عُنُقِي أَنْ بَلَّغَ رِسَالاَتِكَ\ *Lah fī ‘unuqī an ballagha risālātik*\ To him, as he conveyed Your messages, 296. غَيْرَ مُفَرِّطٍ فيمَا أَمْرَتَ\ *Ghayra mufarriṭin fīmā amrata*\ Without neglecting what You commanded, 297. وَلاَ مُجَاوِزٍ لِمَا نَهَيْتَ\ *Wa lā mujāwizin limā nahayt*\ Nor exceeding what You prohibited, 298. وَلاَ مُقَصِّرٍ فِيمَا أَرَدَتَ\ *Wa lā muqaṣṣirin fīmā aradt*\ Nor falling short in what You desired, 299. وَلاَ مُتَعَدٍّ لِمَا أَوْصَيْتَ\ *Wa lā muta‘addin limā awṣayt*\ Nor transgressing what You advised 300. وَتَلا آيَاتِكَ عَلَى مَا أَنْزَلْتَ\ *Wa talā āyātik ‘alā mā anzalta*\ And he recited Your verses as You revealed them, 301. إِلَيهِ وَحْيَكَ وَجَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ\ *Ilayh waḥyik wa jāhada fī sabīlik*\ To him, Your revelation, and he strived in Your cause, 302. مُقْبِلاً غَيْرَ مُدْبِرٍ\ *Muqbilan ghayra mudbirin*\ Advancing, not retreating, 303. وَفَى بِعَهْدِكَ وَصَدَّقَ وَعْدَكَ\ *Wa fā bi-‘ahdika wa ṣaddaqa wa‘daka*\ Fulfilling Your covenant and confirming Your promise, 304. وَصَدَعَ بِأَمْرِكَ لاَ يَخَافُ فِيكَ لَوْمَةَ لاَئِمٍ\ *Wa ṣada‘a bi-amrika lā yakhāfu fīka lawmata lā’im*\ And he proclaimed Your command, not fearing the blame of any critic 305. وَبَاعَدَ فِيكَ الأَقْرَبِينَ وَقَرَّبَ فِيكَ الأَبْعَدِينَ\ *Wa bā‘ada fīka al-aqrabīn wa qarraba fīka al-ab‘adīn*\ And he distanced for Your sake the nearest and brought near for Your sake the farthest 306. وَأَمَرَ بطَاعَتِكَ وَأْتُمِرَ بِهَا\ *Wa amara bi-ṭā‘atika wa ‘utimira bihā*\ And he commanded with Your obedience and was commanded by it, 307. سِرّاً وَعَلانِيَةً\ *Sirrān wa ‘alāniyatan*\ In secret and in public 308. وَنَهَى عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ وَانْتَهَى عَنْهَا\ *Wa nahā ‘an ma‘ṣīyatik wa intahā ‘anhā*\ And he forbade Your disobedience and refrained from it 309. وَدَلَّ عَلَى مَحَاسِنِ الأَخْلاَقِ وَأَخَذَ بِهَا\ *Wa dalla ‘ala maḥāsin al-akhlāq wa akhadha bihā*\ And he guided to good manners and adhered to them, 310. وَنَهَى عَنْ مَسَاوِي الأَخْلاَقِ وَرَغِبَ عَنْهَا\ *Wa nahā ‘an masāwī al-akhlāq wa raghaba ‘anhā*\ And he forbade bad manners and abstained from them 311. وَوَالى أَوْلِيَاءَكَ بِالَّذِي تُحِبُّ\ *Wa wālā awliyā’aka bi-alladhī tuḥibb*\ And he befriended Your allies with what You love, 312. أَنْ يُوَالَوا بِهِ قَوْلاً وَعَمَلاً\ *An yuwālā bihī qawlan wa ‘amalan*\ To be befriended in word and deed 313. وَدَعَا إلى سَبيِلكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ\ *Wa da‘ā ilā sabīlik bi-al-ḥikmati wa al-maw‘iẓati al-ḥasana*\ And he called to Your way with wisdom and good counsel, 314. وَعَبَدَك مُخْلِصاً حَتّى أَتَاهُ الْيَقِينُ\ *Wa ‘abadaka mukhliṣan ḥattā atāhu al-yaqīn*\ And he worshiped You sincerely until certainty came to him, 315. فَقَبَضْتَهُ إِلَيْكَ تقِيَّاً نَقِيَّاً زَكِيّاً\ *Fa-qabaḍtahu ilayk taqiyyan naqiyyan zakiyya*\ And You took him to Yourself, pious, pure, and righteous, 316. قَدْ أًكْمَلْتَ بِهِ الدِّينَ وَأَتْمَمْتَ بِهِ النَّعِيمَ\ *Qad akmalt bihi al-dīn wa atmamta bihi al-na‘īm*\ Having completed the religion through him and perfected the blessings through him, 317. وَظَاهَرْتَ بِهِ الْحُجَجَ\ *Wa ẓāharta bihi al-ḥujaj*\ And manifested the proofs through him, 318. وَشَرَعْتَ بِهِ شَرَائِعَ الإِسْلاَمِ\ *Wa shara‘ta bihi sharā’i‘ al-Islām*\ And established the laws of Islam through him, 319. وَفَصَّلْتَ بِهِ الحَلاَلَ عَنِ الْحَرَامِ\ *Wa faṣṣalta bihi al-ḥalāl ‘an al-ḥarām*\ And distinguished the lawful from the unlawful through him, 320. وَنَهَجْتَ بِهِ لِخَلْقِكَ صِرَاطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ\ *Wa nahajta bihi li-khalqik ṣirāṭaka al-mustaqīm*\ And guided Your creation through him to Your straight path, 321. وَبَيَّنْتَ بِهِ الْعَلاَمَاتِ وَالنُّجُومَ\ *Wa bayyanta bihi al-‘alāmāt wa al-nujūm*\ And clarified through him the signs and stars, 322. الَّذي بِهِ يهْتَدُونَ\ *Alladhī bihi yahtadūn*\ By which they are guided 323. وَلَمْ تَدَعْهُمْ بَعْدَهُ فِي عَمْيَاءَ\ *Wa lam tada‘hum ba‘dahu fī ‘amyā’*\ And You did not leave them in blindness after him, 324. يَهِيمُونَ وَلاَ فِي شُبْهَةٍ يَتِيهُونَ\ *Yahīmūna wa lā fī shubhah yatīhūn*\ Wandering in confusion, nor in doubt 325. وَلَمْ تَكِلْهُمْ إِلى النَّظَرِ لأَنْفُسِهمْ\ *Wa lam takilhum ilā al-naẓar li-anfusihim*\ And You did not leave them to their own views in their religion, 326. فِي دِينِهِمْ بِآرَائِهِمْ\ *Fī dīnihim bi-āra’ihim*\ According to their opinions, 327. وَلاَ التَّخَيُّرِ مِنْهُمْ بِأَهْوائِهِمْ\ *Wa lā al-takhayyur minhum bi-ahwā’ihim*\ Nor their choosing according to their desires, 328. فَيَتَشَعَّبُونَ فِي مُدْلَهِمَّاتِ الْبِدَعِ\ *Faytasha‘abūna fī mudlahimāt al-bida‘*\ Lest they be divided into the darkness of innovations, 329. وَيَتَحَّيُرونَ فِي مُطْبِقَاتِ الظُّلَمِ\ *Wa yataḥayyirūna fī muṭbiqāt al-ẓulum*\ And be confounded in the overwhelming darkness, 330. وَتَتَفَرَّقُ بِهِمُ السُّبُلُ فِيمَا يَعْلَمُونَ\ *Wa tatafarraqu bihim al-subul fīmā ya‘lamūn*\ And the paths diverge for them in what they know 331. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ تَوَلَى مِنَ الدُّنْيا\ *Wa ashhadu annahu tawallā min al-dunyā*\ And I bear witness that he departed from this world, 332. رَاضِياً عَنْكَ مَرْضِيّاً عِنْدَكَ مَحْمُوداً\ *Rāḍiyān ‘anka marḍiyān ‘indaka maḥmūdān*\ Pleased with You, and You pleased with him, praiseworthy 333. فِي الْمُقَرَّبينَ وَأَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُرْسَليِنَ\ *Fī al-muqarrabīn wa anbiyā’ika al-mursalīn*\ Among the near ones, and Your prophets, the messengers, 334. وَعِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ\ *Wa ‘ibādika al-ṣāliḥīn al-muṣṭafayn*\ And Your righteous chosen servants, 335. وَأَنَّهُ غَيْرُ مُلِيمٍ وَلاَ ذَمِيمٍ\ *Wa annahu ghayru mulīm wa lā dhamīm*\ And he is not blameworthy nor disgraceful, 336. وَأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْ الْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ\ *Wa annahu lam yakun min al-mutakallifīn*\ And he was not among those who pretend, 337. وَأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ سَاحِراً وَلاَ سُحِرَ لَهُ\ *Wa annahu lam yakun sāḥirā wa lā suḥira lah*\ And he was not a magician, nor was he bewitched, 338. وَلاَ كَاهِناً وَلاَ تُكُهِّنَ لَهُ\ *Wa lā kāhinan wa lā tuku’hina lah*\ Nor a soothsayer, nor was soothsaying done for him, 339. وَلاَ شَاعِراً وَلاَ شُعِّرَ لَهُ\ *Wa lā shā‘iran wa lā shu’‘ira lah*\ Nor a poet, nor was poetry composed for him, 340. وَلاَ كَذَّاباً وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رَسُولَكَ\ *Wa lā kadhdhābā wa annahu kāna rasūlak*\ Nor a liar, and indeed he was Your messenger, 341. وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيّينَ\ *Wa khātama al-nabiyyīn*\ And the seal of the prophets, 342. جَاءَ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ\ *Jā’a bil-ḥaqq min ‘indika*\ Who brought the truth from You, 343. وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *Wa ṣaddaqa al-mursalīn*\ And confirmed the messengers 344. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوهُ\ *Wa ashhadu anna alladhīna kadhdhabooh*\ And I bear witness that those who denied him, 345. ذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الأَلِيمِ\ *Dhā’iqū al-‘adhābi al-alīm*\ Will taste the painful punishment 346. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مَا أَتَانَا بِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ\ *Wa ashhadu anna mā atānā bihi min ‘indika*\ And I bear witness that what he brought to us from You, 347. وَأَخْبَرَنَا بِهِ عَنْكَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ الْيَقِينُ\ *Wa akhbaranā bihi ‘anka annahu al-ḥaqq al-yaqīn*\ And informed us about You is the absolute truth, 348. لاَ شَكَّ فِيهِ مِنْ رَبِّ العَالَمِين\ *Lā shakk fīhi min rabbi al-‘ālamīn*\ There is no doubt in it from the Lord of the worlds 349. اَللّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَّمَدٍ\ *Allāhumma faṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad*\ O Allah, so bless Muhammad, 350. عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ وَنَبِيِّكَ وَوَلِيِّكَ\ *‘Abdika wa rasūlika wa nabiyyika wa waliyyika*\ Your servant, Your messenger, Your prophet, and Your chosen one, 351. وَنَجِيِّكَ وَصَفيِّكَ وَصَفْوَتِكَ وَخِيَرَتِكَ\ *Wa najīyyika wa ṣafiyyika wa ṣafwatika wa khīratika*\ Your confidant, Your chosen one, Your pure one, and Your elite, 352. مِنْ خَلْقِكَ الَّذي انْتَجْبَتْهُ لِرِسَالاَتِكَ\ *Min khalqik alladhī intajabtahu li-risālātik*\ From Your creation, the one You chose for Your messages, 353. وَاسْتَخْلَصْتَهُ لَدينِكَ\ *Wa istakhlaṣtahu li-dīnik*\ And selected him for Your religion, 354. وَاسْتَرْعَيْتَهُ عِبَادَكَ وأْتَمَنْتَهُ عَلى وَحْيِكَ\ *Wa istar‘aytahu ‘ibādak wa atmantahu ‘ala waḥyik*\ And entrusted him with Your servants and Your revelation 355. عَلَمِ الْهُدَى وَبَابِ النُّهى\ *‘Alam al-hudā wa bāb al-nuhā*\ The flag of guidance and the gate of wisdom, 356. وَالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقى فِيمَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ خَلْقِكَ\ *Wa al-‘urwati al-wuthqā fīmā baynak wa bayna khalqik*\ And the firm handle between You and Your creation, 357. الشَّاهِدِ لَهُمْ الْمُهَيْمِنِ عَلَيْهِمْ\ *Al-shāhid lahum al-muhaymin ‘alayhim*\ The witness over them, the guardian over them, 358. أَشْرَفَ وَأَفْضَلَ وَأَزْكَى وَأَطَهْرَ\ *Ashraf wa afḍal wa azkā wa aṭhar*\ The most noble, the best, the purest, and the cleanest, 359. وَأَنْمَى وَأَطْيَبَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ\ *Wa anmā wa aṭyab mā ṣallayta ‘alā aḥad*\ And the most elevated and the best of what You have prayed upon anyone, 360. مِنْ خَلْقِكِ وَأَنْبِيَائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ\ *Min khalqik wa anbiyā’ika wa rusulik*\ From Your creation, Your prophets, and Your messengers, 361. وَأَصْفِيَائِكَ وَالْمُخْلِصِينَ مِنَ عِبَادِكَ\ *Wa aṣfiyā’ik wa al-mukhliṣīn min ‘ibādik*\ And Your chosen ones, and the sincere among Your servants 362. اَللّهُمَّ وَاجْعَلْ صَلَواتِكَ وَغُفْرَانَكَ\ *Allāhumma wa aj‘al ṣalawātik wa ghufrānak*\ O Allah, and make Your blessings and forgiveness, 363. وَرِضْوَانَكَ وَمُعَافَاتَكَ وَكَرَامَتَكَ وَرَحْمَتَكَ\ *Wa riḍwānak wa mu‘āfātak wa karāmatak wa raḥmatak*\ And Your pleasure, well-being, honor, and mercy, 364. وَمَنَّكَ وَفَضْلَكَ وَسَلاَمَكَ وَشَرَفَكَ\ *Wa mannak wa faḍlak wa salāmak wa sharafak*\ And Your grace, bounty, peace, and glory, 365. وَإِعْظَامَكَ وَتَبْجِيلَكَ وَصَلَواتِ مَلاَئِكَتِكَ\ *Wa i‘ẓāmak wa tabjīlak wa ṣalawāt malā’ikatak*\ And Your exaltation, reverence, and the prayers of Your angels, 366. وَرُسُلِكَ وَأَنْبِياَئِكَ وَالأَوْصِيَاءِ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ\ *Wa rusulik wa anbiyā’ik wa al-awṣiyā’ wa al-shuhadā’*\ And Your messengers, prophets, successors, and martyrs, 367. وَالصِّدّيِقينَ منْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالحين\ *Wa al-ṣiddīqīn min ‘ibādik al-ṣāliḥīn*\ And the truthful among Your righteous servants, 368. وَحَسُنَ أُولئِكَ رَفيقَاً\ *Wa ḥasuna ūlā’ika rafīqā*\ And what excellent companions they are, 369. وَأَهْلِ السَّماوَاتِ وَالأَرَضِينَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا\ *Wa ahl al-samāwāt wa al-arḍīn wa mā baynahumā*\ And the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, 370. وَمَا فَوْقَهُمَا وَمَا تَحْتَهَما\ *Wa mā fawqahumā wa mā taḥtahumā*\ And what is above them and what is below them, 371. وِ مِا بَيْنَ الخَافِقِيْنِ وَمَا بَيْنَ الهَوَاءِ\ *Wa mā bayna al-khāfiqīn wa mā bayna al-hawā’*\ And what is between the horizons and what is in the air, 372. وَالْشَّمْسِ وَالقَمَرِ وَالنُّجُوم وَالْجِبَالِ\ *Wa al-shams wa al-qamar wa al-nujūm wa al-jibāl*\ And the sun, the moon, the stars, and the mountains, 373. وَالشَّجَرِ وَالدَّوابِّ وَمَا سَبَحَّ لَكَ\ *Wa al-shajar wa al-dawābb wa mā sabaḥ laka*\ And the trees, the animals, and what glorifies You, 374. فِي البِرّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَفِي الْظُّلْمَةِ\ *Fī al-birr wa al-baḥr wa fī al-ẓulma*\ In the land, the sea, and in the darkness, 375. وَالْضِيَاءِ بَالْغُدُوِ وَالآصَالِ\ *Wa al-ḍiyā’ bil-ghudūwi wa al-āṣāl*\ And in the light, in the mornings and the evenings, 376. وَفِي آنَاءِ اللَّيْلِ وَأَطْرَافِ النَّهَارِ وَسَاعَاِتِه\ *Wa fī ānā’ al-layl wa aṭrāf al-nahār wa sā‘ātih*\ And in the hours of the night and the parts of the day and its hours, 377. عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ\ *‘Alā Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh*\ Upon Muhammad, son of ‘Abdullāh, 378. سَيّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَخَاتَمِ النَّبِيّينَ\ *Sayyid al-mursalīn wa khātam al-nabiyyīn*\ The master of the messengers and the seal of the prophets, 379. وَإِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَمَوْلَى الْمُؤْمِنينَ\ *Wa imām al-muttaqīn wa mawlā al-mu’minīn*\ The leader of the pious and the protector of the believers, 380. وَوَلِيِّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَقَائِدِ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِينَ\ *Wa waliyy al-muslimīn wa qā’id al-ghurr al-muḥajjilīn*\ The guardian of the Muslims and the leader of the radiant ones, 381. وَرَسُولِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ\ *Wa rasūl rabbi al-‘ālamīn*\ The messenger of the Lord of the worlds, 382. مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ وَالأَعْجَمِينَ\ *Min al-jinn wa al-ins wa al-a‘jamīn*\ From among the jinn, humans, and the non-Arabs, 383. وَالشَّاهِدِ الْبَشِيرِ وَالأَمِينِ النَّذِيرِ\ *Wa al-shāhid al-bashīr wa al-amīn al-nadhīr*\ The witness, the bringer of good news, the trustworthy warner, 384. وَالدَّاعِي إِلَيْكَ بَإِذْنِكَ\ *Wa al-dā‘ī ilayka bi-idhnik*\ The caller to You by Your permission, 385. السِّراجِ الْمُنِيرِ\ *Al-sirāj al-munīr*\ The illuminating lamp, 386. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 387. فِي الأَوَّلِينَ وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Fī al-awwalīn wa ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad*\ Among the first ones, and bless Muhammad, 388. وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِي الآخِرينَ\ *Wa āl Muḥammad fī al-ākhirīn*\ And the family of Muhammad among the last ones, 389. وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ يَوْمَ الدِّينِ\ *Wa ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad yawma al-dīn*\ And bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad on the Day of Judgment, 390. يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ\ *Yawma yaqūmu al-nās li-rabbi al-‘ālamīn*\ The day when people will stand before the Lord of the worlds 391. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 392. كَمَا اسْتَنْقَذْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā istanqadhtanā bih*\ As You saved us through him, 393. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا كَرَّمْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad kamā karramtanā bih*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad as You honored us through him, 394. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا كَثَّرْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad kamā kaththartanā bih*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad as You increased us through him, 395. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 396. كَمَا ثَبَّتَّنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā thabbatthanā bih*\ As You established us through him, 397. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 398. كَمَا أَنْعَشْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā an‘ashtanā bih*\ As You revived us through him, 399. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 400. كَمَا أحْيَيْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā aḥyaytanā bih*\ As You gave us life through him, 401. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 402. كَمَا شَرَّفْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā sharaftanā bih*\ As You honored us through him, 403. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 404. كَمَا أَعْزَزْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā a‘azzatanā bih*\ As You strengthened us through him, 405. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad, 406. كَمَا فَضَّلْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā faḍḍaltanā bih*\ As You favored us through him, 407. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 408. كَمَا رَحِمْتَنَا بِهِ\ *Kamā raḥimtanā bih*\ As You had mercy on us through him, 409. اَللّهُمَّ أَجْزِ نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّداً\ *Allāhumma ajzi nabiyyinā Muḥammad*\ O Allah, reward our Prophet Muhammad, 410. صَلّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ\ *Ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayh wa ālih*\ May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family, 411. أَفْضَلَ مَا أَنْتَ جَازٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ\ *Afaḍḍal mā anta jāzin yawma al-qiyāmah*\ The best that You reward on the Day of Resurrection, 412. نَبِيّاً عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ\ *Nabīyan ‘an ummatih*\ A prophet on behalf of his community, 413. وَرَسُولاً عَمَّنْ أَرْسَلْتَهُ إِلَيْهِ\ *Wa rasūlan ‘amman arsaltahu ilayh*\ And a messenger on behalf of those You sent him to, 414. اَللّهُمَّ اخْصُصْهُ بِأَفْضَلِ قِسَمِ الْفَضَائِلِ\ *Allāhumma ikhṣuṣhu bi-afḍal qisma al-faḍā’il*\ O Allah, grant him the best share of virtues, 415. وَبَلّغْهُ أَعْلَى شَرَفِ الْمُكَرَّمِينَ\ *Wa ballighhu a‘lā sharaf al-mukarramīn*\ And elevate him to the highest rank of the honored ones, 416. مِنَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلى\ *Min al-darajāt al-‘ulā*\ From the highest degrees, 417. وَأَعْلى عِلِّيِّينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ\ *Wa a‘lā ‘illiyyīn fī jannāt wa nahr*\ And the highest levels in the gardens and rivers, 418. فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍٍ عِنْدَ مَلِيكٍ مُقْتَدِرٍ\ *Fī maq‘ad ṣidqin ‘inda malīkin muqtadir*\ In the seat of truth, near a sovereign, omnipotent 419. اَللّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً حَتّى يَرْضَى\ *Allāhumma a‘ṭi Muḥammad ḥattā yarḍā*\ O Allah, grant Muhammad until he is satisfied, 420. وزِدْهُ بَعْدَ الرِّضَا\ *Wa zidhu ba‘da al-riḍā*\ And increase him after satisfaction, 421. وَاجْعَلْهُ أَكْرَمَ خَلْقِكَ مِنْكَ مَجْلِساً\ *Wa aj‘alhu akram khalqik minka majlisan*\ And make him the most honored of Your creation in Your presence, 422. وَأَعْظَمَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ جَاهاً\ *Wa a‘ẓamahum ‘indaka jāhan*\ And the greatest in status with You, 423. وَأَوْفَرَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ حَظّاً\ *Wa awfarahum ‘indaka ḥaẓẓan*\ And the most abundant in fortune with You, 424. فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ أَنْتَ قَاسِمُهُ بَيْنَهُمُ\ *Fī kulli khayrin anta qāsimuhu baynahum*\ In every good that You distribute among them 425. اَللّهُمَّ أَوْرِدْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ ذُرّيَّتِهِ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ\ *Allāhumma awrid ‘alayhi min dhurriyyatihi wa azwājih*\ O Allah, present to him from his descendants and his spouses, 426. وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَذَوي قَرَابَتِهِ\ *Wa ahl baytih wa dhawi qarābatih*\ And his family and close relatives, 427. وَأُمَّتِهِ مَنْ تَقِرُّ بِهِ عَيْنُهُ\ *Wa ummatih man taqirru bihi ‘aynah*\ And his community, those who bring delight to his eyes, 428. وَأَقْرِرْ عُيُونَنَا بِرُؤْيَتِهِ\ *Wa aqirr ‘uyūnanā bi-ru’yatih*\ And grant our eyes delight by seeing him, 429. وَلاَ تُفَرِّقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُ\ *Wa lā tufarriq baynanā wa baynah*\ And do not separate us from him 430. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 431. وَأَعْطِهِ مِنَ الْوَسِيلَةِ وَالْفَضِيلَةِ\ *Wa a‘ṭihi min al-wasīlat wa al-faḍīlat*\ And grant him the means and the virtue, 432. وَالشَّرَفِ وَالْكَرَامَةِ\ *Wa al-sharaf wa al-karāmat*\ And the honor and dignity, 433. مَا يَغْبِطُ بِهِ الْمَلائِكَةُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ\ *Mā yaghibiṭu bihi al-malā’ikatu al-muqarrabūn*\ That the closest angels envy, 434. وَالنَّبِيُّونَ والْمُرْسَلُونَ وَالْخَلْقُ أَجْمَعُونَ\ *Wa al-nabiyyūn wa al-mursalūn wa al-khalqu ajma‘ūn*\ And the prophets, the messengers, and all creation 435. اَللّهُمَّ بَيِّضْ وَجْهَهُ وَأَعْلِ كَعْبَهُ\ *Allāhumma bayyiḍ wajhah wa a‘li ka‘bah*\ O Allah, illuminate his face and elevate his stature, 436. وَأَفْلِجْ حُجَّتَهُ وَأَجِبْ دَعْوَتَهُ\ *Wa aflij ḥujjatah wa ajib da‘watah*\ And make his proof clear and answer his prayer, 437. وَابْعَثْهُ الْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ\ *Wa ab‘athhu al-maqām al-maḥmūd alladhī wa‘adtah*\ And raise him to the praised station that You have promised him, 438. وَأَكْرِمْ زُلْفَتَهُ وَأَجْزِلْ عَطِيَّتَهُ\ *Wa akrim zulftah wa ajzil ‘aṭiyyatah*\ And honor his nearness and increase his gifts, 439. وَتَقَبَّلْ شَفَاعَتَهُ وَأَعْطِهِ سُؤْلَهُ\ *Wa taqabbal shafā‘atah wa a‘ṭihi su’lah*\ And accept his intercession and grant him his request, 440. وَشَرِّفْ بُنْيَانَهُ وَعَظِّمْ بُرْهَانَهُ\ *Wa sharif bunyānah wa ‘aẓẓim burhānah*\ And honor his structure and magnify his proof, 441. وَنَوِّرْ نُورَهُ وَأَوْرِدْنَا حَوْضَهُ\ *Wa nawwir nūrah wa awridnā ḥawḍah*\ And brighten his light and bring us to his pool, 442. وَاسْقِنَا بِكَأْسِهِ\ *Wa asqinā bi-kāsih*\ And give us to drink from his cup, 443. وَتَقَبَّل صَلاةَ أُمَّتِهِ عَلَيْهِ\ *Wa taqabbal ṣalāt ummatih ‘alayh*\ And accept the prayer of his community upon him, 444. وَاقْصُصْ بِنَا أَثَرهُ وَاسْلُكْ بِنَا سَبِيلَهُ\ *Wa aqṣuṣ binā atharah wa asluk binā sabīlah*\ And trace his steps for us and make us follow his path, 445. وَتَوَفَّنَا عَلَى مِلَّتِهِ\ *Wa tawaffanā ‘alā millatih*\ And cause us to die on his religion, 446. وَاسْتَعْمِلْنَا بِسُنَّتِهِ\ *Wa asta‘milnā bi-sunnatih*\ And employ us according to his practice, 447. وَابْعَثْنَا عَلَى مِنْهَاجِهِ\ *Wa ab‘athnā ‘alā minhājih*\ And resurrect us on his way, 448. وَاجْعَلْنَا نَدِينُ بِدينِهِ وَنَهْتَدِي بِهُداهُ\ *Wa aj‘alnā nadīn bi-dīnih wa nahtadī bi-hudāh*\ And make us adhere to his religion and be guided by his guidance, 449. وَنَقْتَدِي بِسُنَّتِهِ وَنَكُونُ مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ\ *Wa naqtadī bi-sunnatih wa nakūn min shī‘atih*\ And follow his tradition and be among his followers, 450. وَمَوالِيه وَأَوْلِيائِهِ وَأَحِبَّائِهِ\ *Wa mawālih wa awliyā’ih wa aḥibbā’ih*\ And his supporters, friends, and loved ones, 451. وَخِيَّارِ أَمَّتِهِ وَمُقَدَّمِ زُمْرَتِهِ\ *Wa khiyār ummatih wa muqaddam zumratih*\ And the best of his community and the leaders of his group, 452. وَتَحْتَ لِوَائِهِ\ *Wa taḥt liwā’ih*\ Under his banner, 453. نُعَادي عَدُوَّهُ وَنُوَالِي وَليَّهُ\ *Nu‘ādī ‘adūwah wa nuwālī waliyah*\ We oppose his enemy and befriend his ally, 454. حَتّى تُورِدَنَا عَلَيْهِ بَعْدَ الْمَمَاتِ\ *Ḥattā turidnā ‘alayh ba‘da al-mamāt*\ Until You bring us to him after death, 455. مَوْرِدَهُ غَيْرَ خَزَايَا وَلا نَادِمِينَ\ *Mawridah ghayra khazāyā wa lā nādimīn*\ At his place, without disgrace and without regret, 456. وَلاَ مُبَدِّلِينَ وَلاَ نَاكِثِينَ\ *Wa lā mubaddilīn wa lā nākithīn*\ And not changing or retracting 457. اَللّهُمَّ وَأَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً صَلّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ\ *Allāhumma wa a‘ṭi Muḥammad ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayh wa ālih*\ O Allah, and grant Muhammad, may Allah's blessings be upon him and his family, 458. مَعَ كُلِّ زُلْفَةٍ زُلْفَةً\ *Ma‘a kulli zulfaẓin zulfaẓan*\ With every nearness, more nearness, 459. وَمَعَ كُلِّ قُرْبَةٍ قُرْبَةً\ *Wa ma‘a kulli qurbatin qurbatan*\ And with every closeness, more closeness, 460. وَمَعَ كُلِّ وَسِيلَةٍ وَسِيلَةً\ *Wa ma‘a kulli wasīlatin wasīlatan*\ And with every means, more means, 461. وَمَعَ كُلِّ فَضِيلَةٍ فَضَيلَةً\ *Wa ma‘a kulli faḍīlatin faḍīlatan*\ And with every virtue, more virtue, 462. وَمَعَ كُلِّ شَفَاعَةٍ شَفَاعَةً\ *Wa ma‘a kulli shafā‘atin shafā‘atan*\ And with every intercession, more intercession, 463. وَمَعَ كُلِّ كَرَامَةٍ كَرَامَةً\ *Wa ma‘a kulli karāmatin karāmatan*\ And with every honor, more honor, 464. وَمَعَ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ خَيْراً\ *Wa ma‘a kulli khayrin khayran*\ And with every good, more good, 465. وَمَعَ كُلِّ شَرَفٍ شَرَفاً\ *Wa ma‘a kulli sharafin sharafan*\ And with every dignity, more dignity, 466. وَشَفِّعْهُ فِي كُلِّ مِنْ يَشْفَعُ لَهُ\ *Wa shaf‘ihu fī kulli min yashfa‘ lah*\ And make him intercede for all whom he intercedes for, 467. مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ وَغَيْرِهْمِ مِنَ الأُمَمِ\ *Min ummatih wa ghayruhim min al-umam*\ From his community and others from the nations, 468. حَتّى لاَ يُعْطى مَلَكٌ مُقَرَّبٌ\ *Ḥattā lā yu‘ṭā malakun muqarrabun*\ Until no close angel is given, 469. وَلا نَبِيٌّ مُرْسَلٌ\ *Wa lā nabiyyun mursalun*\ Nor a sent prophet, 470. وَلاَ عَبْدٌ مُصْطَفىً\ *Wa lā ‘abdan muṣṭafan*\ Nor a chosen servant, 471. إِلاَّ دُونَ مَا أَنْتَ مُعْطِيهِ مُحَمَّداً\ *Illā dūna mā anta mu‘ṭīhi Muḥammad*\ Except below what You give Muhammad, 472. صَلّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ\ *Ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayh wa ālih yawma al-qiyāmah*\ May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family on the Day of Resurrection 473. اَللّهُمَّ وَاجْعَلْهُ الْمُقَدَّمَ فِي الْدَّعْوةِ\ *Allāhumma wa aj‘alhu al-muqaddama fī al-da‘wah*\ O Allah, and make him the foremost in the call, 474. وَالْمُؤثِرَ بِهِ فِي الأَثْرَةِ\ *Wa al-mu’athir bihi fī al-athrāh*\ And the one who benefits the most in the hereafter, 475. وَالْمُنَوَّهَ بِاسْمِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ\ *Wa al-munawwah bismi bihi fī al-dunyā wa al-ākhirah*\ And the one praised by name in this world and the hereafter, 476. فِي الشَّفَاعَةِ إِذَا تَجَلَّيْتَ بِنُورِكَ\ *Fī al-shafā‘ah idhā tajallayta binūrīk*\ In intercession when You manifest Your light, 477. وَجِيءَ بِالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيّينَ\ *Wa jī’a bi-al-kitāb wa al-nabiyyīn*\ And the book and the prophets are brought forth, 478. وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ\ *Wa al-ṣiddīqīn wa al-shuhadā’ wa al-ṣāliḥīn*\ And the truthful ones, the martyrs, and the righteous, 479. وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ\ *Wa quḍiya baynahum bi-al-ḥaqq*\ And judgment is passed among them in truth, 480. وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ\ *Wa hum lā yuẓlamūn*\ And they are not wronged, 481. وَقِيلَ الْحَمْدُ للهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ\ *Wa qīla al-ḥamdu lillāhi rabb al-‘ālamīn*\ And it is said, "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds" 482. ذلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ\ *Dhālika yawmu al-tagābun*\ That is the Day of Loss and Gain, 483. ذلِكَ يَوْمُ الْحَسْرَةِ\ *Dhālika yawmu al-ḥasrah*\ That is the Day of Regret, 484. ذلِكَ يَوْمُ الآزِفَةِ\ *Dhālika yawmu al-āzifah*\ That is the Day of Nearness, 485. وَذلِكَ يَوْمٌ لا تُسْتَقَالُ فِيهِ الْعَثَرَاتُ\ *Wa dhālika yawmun lā tustaqālu fīhi al-‘atharāt*\ And that is the day when slips are not excused, 486. وَلاَ تَبْسُطُ فِيهِ التَّوْبَاتُ\ *Wa lā tabsuṭu fīhi al-tawbāt*\ And repentance is not accepted, 487. وَلاَ يُسْتَدْرَكُ فِيهِ مَا فَاتَ\ *Wa lā yustadraku fīhi mā fāt*\ And what is missed cannot be made up 488. اَللّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma faṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, so bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 489. وَارْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Wa arḥam Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ And have mercy on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 490. كَأْفضَلِ مَا صَلَّيْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ\ *Ka-afḍal mā ṣallayta wa raḥimta wa bārakta*\ As the best You have blessed, had mercy on, and blessed, 491. عَلى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ\ *‘Alā Ibrāhīm wa āl Ibrāhīm*\ Upon Abraham and the family of Abraham, 492. إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ\ *Innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd*\ Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious 493. اَللّهُمَّ وَامْنُنْ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma wa amnun ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, and bestow favors upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 494. كَمَا مَنَنْتَ عَلى مُوسى وَهارُونَ\ *Kamā mananta ‘alā Mūsā wa Hārūn*\ As You bestowed favors upon Moses and Aaron 495. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli wa sallim ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless and grant peace to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 496. كَأَفْضَلِ مَا صّلَّيْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ\ *Ka-afḍal mā ṣallayta wa raḥimta wa bārakta*\ As the best You have blessed, had mercy on, and blessed, 497. عَلى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَسَلَّمْتَ عَلَى نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ\ *‘Alā Ibrāhīm wa sallamta ‘alā Nūḥ fī al-‘ālamīn*\ Upon Abraham and granted peace to Noah among the worlds 498. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 499. وَعَلى أَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الأَوَّلِينَ\ *Wa ‘alā a’imma al-muslimīn al-awwalīn*\ And upon the leaders of the Muslims, the first ones, 500. مِنْهُمْ وَالآخِرِينَ\ *Minhum wa al-ākhirīn*\ From them and the last ones 501. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 502. وَعَلَى إِمَامِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ\ *Wa ‘alā imām al-muslimīn*\ And upon the leader of the Muslims 503. اَللّهُمَّ وَاحْفَظْهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدْيِهِ\ *Allāhumma wa iḥfaẓhu min bayna yadayh*\ O Allah, protect him from in front of him, 504. وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَعَنْ يمِيِنِهِ\ *Wa min khalfih wa ‘an yamīnih*\ And from behind him and on his right, 505. وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ وَمَنْ فَوْقِهِ\ *Wa ‘an shimālīh wa min fawqih*\ And on his left and from above him, 506. وَمِنْ تَحْتِهِ وَافْتَحْ لَهُ فَتْحاً يَسِيراً\ *Wa min taḥtih wa iftaḥ lahū fatḥan yasīrā*\ And from beneath him, and grant him an easy victory, 507. وانْصُرْهُ نَصْراً عَزِيزاً\ *Wa anṣuruh naṣran ‘azīzā*\ And grant him a mighty victory, 508. واجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَاناً نَصِيراً\ *Wa aj‘al lahū min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā*\ And grant him from Your presence an aiding authority 509. اَللّهُمَّ عَجِّلْ فَرَجَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ‘ajil faraj āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, hasten the relief of the family of Muhammad, 510. وَأَهْلِكْ أَعْدَاءَهُمْ مِنْ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ\ *Wa ahlik a‘dā’ahum min al-jinn wa al-ins*\ And destroy their enemies from the jinn and humans 511. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa ahl baytih*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and his household, 512. وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ\ *Wa dhurriyyatih wa azwājih al-ṭayyibīn*\ And his descendants and his pure spouses, 513. الأَخْيَارِ الطَّاهِرِينَ الْمُطَهَّرِينَ\ *Al-akhyār al-ṭāhirīn al-muṭahharīn*\ The good, the pure, the purified ones, 514. الْهُدَاةِ الْمُهْتَدِينَ غَيْرِ الضَّالِّينَ\ *Al-hudāt al-muhtadīn ghayr al-ḍāllīn*\ The guided, the rightly-guided ones, not the misled ones, 515. وَلاَ الْمُضِلِّينَ الَّذِين أَذْهَبْتَ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسِ\ *Wa lā al-muḍillīn alladhīn adhhabt ‘anhum al-rijs*\ Nor the misleaders, those from whom You removed impurity, 516. وَطَهَّرْتَهُمْ تَطْهِيراً\ *Wa ṭahhartahum taṭhīrā*\ And purified them thoroughly 517. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 518. فِي الأوَّلِينَ وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي الآخِرينَ\ *Fī al-awwalīn wa ṣalli ‘alayhim fī al-ākhirīn*\ Among the first ones, and bless them among the last ones, 519. وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي الْمَلأِ الأَعْلى\ *Wa ṣalli ‘alayhim fī al-mala’i al-a‘lā*\ And bless them in the highest assembly, 520. وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَبَدَ الآبِدِينَ\ *Wa ṣalli ‘alayhim abada al-ābidīn*\ And bless them forever and ever, 521. صَلاةً لاَ مُنْتَهى لَهَا وَلاَ أَمَدَ\ *Ṣalātan lā muntahā lahā wa lā amad*\ A prayer that has no end and no limit, 522. دُونَ رِضَاكَ آمِينَ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِين\ *Dūna riḍāk amīn amīn rabb al-‘ālamīn*\ Without Your pleasure, Ameen, Ameen, Lord of the worlds 523. اَللّهُمَّ الْعَنْ الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا دِينَكَ وَكِتَابَكَ\ *Allāhumma al‘an alladhīna baddalū dīnak wa kitābak*\ O Allah, curse those who changed Your religion and Your book, 524. وَغَيَّرُوا سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِ سَلاَمُكَ\ *Wa ghayyarū sunnat nabiyyik ‘alayh salāmuk*\ And altered the tradition of Your Prophet, peace be upon him, 525. وَأَزَالُوا الْحَقَّ عَنْ مَوْضِعِهِ\ *Wa azālū al-ḥaqq ‘an mawḍi‘ih*\ And removed the truth from its place 526. أَلْفَيْ أَلْفَ لَعْنَةٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ غَيْرَ مُؤْتَلِفَةٍ\ *Alfay alf la‘nah mukhtalifah ghayr mu’talifah*\ A thousand thousand different curses, not united, 527. وَالْعَنْهُمْ أَلْفَيْ أَلْفَ لَعْنَةٍ مُؤْتَلِفَةٍ\ *Wa al‘anhum alfay alf la‘nah mu’talifah*\ And curse them with a thousand thousand united curses, 528. غَيْرَ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ وَالْعَنْ أَشْيَاعَهُمْ وَأَتْبَاعَهُمْ\ *Ghayr mukhtalifah wa al‘an ashyā‘ahum wa atbā‘ahum*\ Not different, and curse their supporters and followers, 529. وَمَنْ رَضِي بِفِعَالِهِمْ مِنَ الأَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَ\ *Wa man raḍī bi-fi‘ālihimm min al-awwalīn wa al-ākhirīn*\ And those who were pleased with their actions from the first and the last 530. اَللّهُمَّ يَا بَارِئَ الْمَسْمُوكَاتِ\ *Allāhumma yā bāri’ al-masmūkāt*\ O Allah, the Creator of the heavens, 531. وَدَاحِيَ الْمَدْحُوَّاتِ وَقَاصِمَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ\ *Wa dāḥī al-madḥuwāt wa qāṣim al-jabābirah*\ And the One who expands the earth and crushes the tyrants, 532. وَرَحْمَانَ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَرَحِيمَهُمَا\ *Wa raḥmān al-dunyā wa al-ākhirah wa raḥīmahuma*\ The Most Merciful of this world and the hereafter and their Compassionate, 533. تُعْطِي مِنْهُما مَا تَشَاءُ وَتَمْنَعُ مَا تَشَاءُ\ *Tu‘ṭī minhumā mā tashā’u wa tamna‘u mā tashā’*\ You give from them what You will and withhold what You will, 534. أَسْأَلُكَ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ وَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *As’aluka bi-nūr wajhik wa bi-ḥaqq Muḥammad*\ I ask You by the light of Your face and by the right of Muhammad, 535. صَلّى اللهُ عَليهِ وَآلِهِ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً حَتّى يَرْضى\ *Ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayh wa ālih a‘ṭi Muḥammad ḥattā yarḍā*\ May Allah’s blessings be upon him and his family, grant Muhammad until he is satisfied, 536. وَبَلِّغْهُ الْوَسِيلَةَ الْعُظْمَى\ *Wa ballighhu al-wasīlat al-‘uẓmā*\ And grant him the highest means 537. اَللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مُحَمَّداً فِي الْسَّابِقينَ غَايَتَهُ\ *Allāhumma aj‘al Muḥammad fī al-sābiqīn ghāyatih*\ O Allah, make Muhammad's goal among the foremost, 538. وَفِي الْمُنْتَجَبِينَ كَرَامَتَهُ\ *Wa fī al-muntajabīn karāmatih*\ And his honor among the chosen ones, 539. وَفِي الْعَالِينَ ذِكْرَهُ\ *Wa fī al-‘ālayn dhikrah*\ And his mention among the high ones, 540. وَأَسْكِنْهُ أَعْلى غُرَفِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ\ *Wa askinhū a‘lā ghuraf al-firdaws*\ And settle him in the highest chambers of paradise, 541. فِي الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي لاَ تَفُوقُهَا دَرَجَةٌ\ *Fī al-jannah allatī lā tafūquhā darajah*\ In the paradise that no degree surpasses, 542. وَلاَ يَفْضُلُهَا شَيْءٌ\ *Wa lā yafḍuluhā shay’*\ And nothing excels it 543. اَللّهُمَّ بَيِّضْ وَجْهَهُ وَأَضِئْ نُورَهُ\ *Allāhumma bayyiḍ wajhah wa aḍi’ nūrah*\ O Allah, illuminate his face and brighten his light, 544. وَكُنْ أَنْتَ الْحَافِظَ لَهُ\ *Wa kun anta al-ḥāfiẓ lah*\ And be his protector 545. اَللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma aj‘al Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, make Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 546. أَوَّلَ قَارعٍ لِبَابِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَوَّلَ دَاخِلٍ\ *Awwal qāri‘ libāb al-jannah wa awwal dākhil*\ The first to knock on the door of paradise and the first to enter, 547. وَأَوَّلَ شَافِعٍ وَأَوَّلَ مُشَفَّعٍ\ *Wa awwal shāfi‘ wa awwal mushaffa‘*\ And the first intercessor and the first whose intercession is accepted 548. اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āl Muḥammad*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, 549. الْوُلاَةِ السَّادَاتِ الْكُفَاةِ الْكُهُولِ الْكِرَامِ\ *Al-wulāt al-sādāt al-kifāh al-kuhūl al-kirām*\ The leaders, the masters, the sufficient, the noble elders, 550. الْقَادَةِ الْقَمَاقِمِ الضِّخَامِ\ *Al-qādah al-qamāqim al-ḍiḍām*\ The mighty leaders, 551. اللُّيُوثِ الأَبْطَالِ عِصْمَةٍ لِمَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِهِمْ\ *Al-luyūth al-abṭāl ‘iṣmah li-man i‘taṣam bihim*\ The brave lions, a protection for those who seek refuge in them, 552. وَإِجَارَةٍ لِمَنِ اسْتَجَارَ بِهِمْ\ *Wa ijārah li-man istajāra bihim*\ And a sanctuary for those who seek shelter with them, 553. وَالْكَهْفِ الْحَصِينِ وَالْفُلْكِ الْجَارِيَةِ\ *Wa al-kahf al-ḥaṣīn wa al-fulk al-jāriyah*\ The secure cave and the running ship, 554. فِي اللُّجَجِ الْغَامِرَةِ\ *Fī al-lujjaj al-ghāmirah*\ In the overwhelming depths, 555. وَالرَّاغِبُ عَنْهُمْ مَارقٌ وَالْمُتَأَخِّرُ عَنْهُمْ\ *Wa al-rāghib ‘anhum māriq wa al-muta’akhkhir ‘anhum*\ And whoever turns away from them is a renegade, and whoever lags behind them, 556. وَاللَّازِمُ لَهُمْ لاَحِقٌ وَرِمَاحُكَ فِي أَرْضِكَ\ *Wa al-lāzim lahum lāḥiq wa rimāḥuk fī arḍik*\ And whoever adheres to them will catch up, and Your spears are in Your land, 557. وَصَلِّ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ فِي أَرْضِكَ\ *Wa ṣalli ‘alā ‘ibādik fī arḍik*\ And bless Your servants in Your land, 558. الَّذِينَ أَنْقَذْتَ بِهِمْ مِنَ الْهَلَكَةِ\ *Alladhīna anqadhat bihim min al-halak*\ Those whom You saved from destruction, 559. وَأَنَرْتَ بِهِمْ مِنَ الظُّلْمَةِ\ *Wa anarta bihim min al-ẓulmah*\ And illuminated through them from the darkness, 560. شَجَرَةِ النُّبُوَّةِ وَمَوْضِعِ الرِّسَالَةِ\ *Shajarat al-nubuwwah wa mawḍi‘ al-risālah*\ The tree of prophethood and the place of the message, 561. وَمُخْتَلَفِ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَمَعْدِنِ الْعِلْمِ\ *Wa mukhtalaf al-malā’ikah wa ma‘din al-‘ilm*\ The frequenting place of angels and the source of knowledge, 562. صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ\ *Ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayh wa ‘alayhim ajma‘īn*\ May Allah's blessings be upon him and all of them, 563. آمِينَ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ\ *Amīn amīn rabb al-‘ālamīn*\ Ameen, Ameen, Lord of the worlds 564. اَللّهُمَّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ مَسْألَةَ الْمِسْكِينِ الْمُسْتَكِينِ\ *Allāhumma innī as’aluka mas’alat al-miskīn al-mustakīn*\ O Allah, I ask You with the request of the poor, the humble, 565. وَأَبْتَغِي إِلَيْكَ ابْتِغَاءَ الْبَائِسِ الْفَقِيرِ\ *Wa abtaghī ilayk ibtighā’ al-bā’is al-faqīr*\ And I seek You like the destitute, the needy, 566. وَأَتَضَرَّعُ إِلَيْكَ تَضَرُّعَ الضَّعِيفِ\ *Wa ataḍarra‘ ilayk taḍarra‘ al-ḍa‘īf*\ And I humble myself to You with the humility of the weak, 567. وَأَبْتَهِلُ إِلَيْكَ ابْتِهَالَ الْمُذْنِبِ الْخَاطِئِ\ *Wa abtahil ilayk ibtihāl al-mudhnib al-khāṭi’*\ And I implore You with the imploration of the sinful, the wrongdoer, 568. مَسْأَلَةَ مَنْ خَضَعَتْ لَكَ نَفْسُهُ\ *Mas’alat man khadha‘at lak nafsuh*\ The request of one whose soul has submitted to You, 569. وَرَغَمَ لَكَ أَنْفُهُ وَسَقَطَتْ لَكَ نَاصِيَتُهُ\ *Wa raghma lak anfuḥ wa saqatat lak nāṣiyatuh*\ And whose nose has been humbled to You, and whose forehead has fallen to You, 570. وَانْهَمَلَتْ لَكَ دُمُوعُهُ وَفَاضَتْ لَكَ عَبْرَتُهُ\ *Wa inhamalat lak dumū‘uh wa fāḍat lak ‘abratuh*\ And whose tears have flowed for You, and whose weeping has overflowed for You, 571. وَاعْتَرَفَ بِخَطِيئَتِهِ وَقَلَّتْ عَنْهُ حِيلَتُهُ\ *Wa a‘tarafa bi-khaṭī’atih wa qallat ‘anhu ḥīlatuh*\ And who has confessed his sin and whose strength has diminished, 572. وَأَسْلَمَتْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ\ *Wa aslamat‘hu dhunūbuh*\ And his sins have overwhelmed him 573. أَسْأَلُكَ الصَّلاَةَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ أَوَّلاً\ *As’aluka al-ṣalāt ‘alā Muḥammad wa ālih awwalan*\ I ask You to bless Muhammad and his family, firstly, 574. وَآخِراً وَأَسْأَلُكَ حُسْنَ الْمَعِيشَةِ\ *Wa ākhiran wa as’aluka ḥusn al-ma‘īshah*\ And lastly, and I ask You for a good life, 575. مَا أَبْقَيِتَنِي مَعِيشةً أَقْوى بِهَا فِي جَمِيعِ حَالاَتِي\ *Mā abqaytanī ma‘īshatan aqwā bihā fī jamī‘ ḥālātī*\ As long as You keep me alive, a life by which I can endure in all my situations, 576. وَأَتَوَصَّلُ بِهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلى آخِرَتِي\ *Wa atawassalu bihā fī al-dunyā ilā ākhiratī*\ And by which I can reach my hereafter in this world, 577. عَفْواً لاَ تُتْرِفُنِي فَأَطْغى\ *‘Afwan lā tutrifunī fa-aṭghā*\ With Your pardon, so that I do not become arrogant, 578. وَلاَ تُقَتِّرُ عَليَّ فَأَشْقى\ *Wa lā tuqattir ‘alayya fa-ashqā*\ And do not withhold from me, so that I become miserable, 579. وَأَعْطِنِي مِنْ ذلِكَ غِنىً عَنْ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ\ *Wa a‘ṭinī min dhālik ghinā ‘an jamī‘ khalqik*\ And grant me from that, sufficiency away from all Your creation, 580. وَبَلِّغْهُ إِلى رِضَاكَ\ *Wa ballighu ilā riḍāk*\ And make it reach Your pleasure, 581. وَلاَ تَجْعَلِ الدُّنْيَا عَلَيَّ سِجْناً\ *Wa lā taj‘al al-dunyā ‘alayya sijnā*\ And do not make this world a prison for me, 582. وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ فِرَاقَهَا عَلَيَّ حُزْناً\ *Wa lā taj‘al firāqahā ‘alayya ḥuznā*\ And do not make its departure a sadness for me, 583. أَخْرِجْنِي مِنْهَا وَمِنْ فِتْنَتِهَا\ *Akhrujinī minhā wa min fitnatihā*\ Take me out of it and from its trials, 584. مَرْضِيَّاً عَنّي مَقْبُولاً فِيها عَمَلِي\ *Marḍīyan ‘annī maqbūlan fīhā ‘amalī*\ Pleased with me, and my deeds accepted in it, 585. إِلى دَارِ الْحَيَوانِ وَمَساكِنِ الأَخْيَارِ\ *Ilā dār al-ḥayawān wa masākin al-akhyār*\ To the abode of life and the dwellings of the righteous 586. اَللّهُمَّ إِنّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَزْلِهَا\ *Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min azalihā*\ O Allah, I seek refuge in You from its vanishing, 587. وَزِلْزَالِهَا وَسَطَواتِ سُلْطَانِهَا وَسَلاَطِينِهَا\ *Wa zilzālihā wa saṭawāt sulṭānihā wa salāṭīnihā*\ And its shaking, and the tyranny of its rulers and authorities, 588. وَشَرِّ شَيْطَانِهَا وَبَغْي مَنْ بَغى عَلَيَّ فِيهَا\ *Wa sharr shayṭānihā wa baghy man baghā ‘alayy fīhā*\ And the evil of its devil, and the aggression of those who oppress me in it 589. اَللّهُمَّ مَنْ أَرَادَنِي فَأَرِدْهُ\ *Allāhumma man arādanī fa-ardih*\ O Allah, whoever intends me with harm, intend him with harm, 590. وَمَنْ كَادَنِي فَكِدْهُ\ *Wa man kādanī fa-kidhih*\ And whoever plots against me, plot against him, 591. وَافْقَأْ عُيُونَ الْكَفَرَةِ\ *Wa afqa’ ‘uyūn al-kafarā*\ And blind the eyes of the disbelievers, 592. وَاعْصِمْنِي مِنْ ذلِكِ بِالسَّكِينَةِ\ *Wa a‘ṣimnī min dhālik bi-al-sakīnah*\ And protect me from that with tranquility, 593. وَأَلْبِسْنِي دِرْعَكَ الْحَصِينَةَ\ *Wa albisnī dir‘ak al-ḥaṣīnah*\ And clothe me with Your impenetrable armor, 594. وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي سَتْرِكَ الْوَافِي\ *Wa aj‘alnī fī sitrik al-wāfī*\ And place me in Your complete protection, 595. وَأَصْلِحْ حَالِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي أَهْلي\ *Wa aṣliḥ ḥālī wa bārik lī fī ahlī*\ And rectify my condition and bless me in my family, 596. وَمَالِي وَوَلَدِي وَخُزَانَتِي\ *Wa mālī wa waladī wa khuzānatī*\ And my wealth, my children, and my possessions, 597. وَمَنْ أَحْبَبْتُ فِيكَ وَأَحَبَّنِي\ *Wa man aḥbabtu fīk wa aḥabbani*\ And those whom I love for Your sake and who love me 598. اَللّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدْ قَدَّمْتُ\ *Allāhumma aghfir lī mā qad qaddamt*\ O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent forth, 599. وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ\ *Wa mā akhkhart wa mā a‘lantu wa mā asrartu*\ And what I have delayed, what I have declared, and what I have hidden, 600. وَمَا نَسِيتُ وَمَا تَعَمَّدْتُ\ *Wa mā nasītu wa mā ta‘amadt*\ And what I have forgotten and what I have intentionally done 601. اَللّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ خَلَقْتَنِي كَمَا أَرَدْتَ\ *Allāhumma innaka khalaqtanī kamā aradt*\ O Allah, You created me as You willed, 602. فَأَجْعَلْنِي كَمَا تُحِبُّ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمينَ\ *Fa-aj‘alnī kamā tuḥibb yā arḥam al-rāḥimīn*\ So make me as You love, O Most Merciful of the merciful 603. اللَّهُمُّ صَلّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa \`ajjil farajahum*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief. 604. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad— 605. ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ ٱلْمَرْضِيِّينَ\ *al-awsiya'i almardiyyina*\ the Successors and the pleased— 606. بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ\ *bi-afdali salawatika*\ with the best of Your blessings, 607. وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ\ *wa barik \`alayhim*\ and confer upon them 608. بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ\ *bi-afdali barakatika*\ with the best of your favors. 609. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِمْ\ *wa alssalamu \`alayhim*\ And peace be upon them 610. وَعَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَأَجْسَادِهِمْ\ *wa \`ala arwahihim wa ajsadihim*\ and upon their souls and bodies; 611. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\ *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\ and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon them. 612. صَلَوَاتُ اللّهِ وَملاَئِكَتِهِ\ *salawatu allahi wa mala'ikatihi*\ The blessings of Allah, His angels, 613. وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ\ *wa anbiya'ihi wa rusulihi*\ His prophets, His messengers, 614. وَجَميعِ خَلْقِهِ\ *wa jami\`i khalqihi*\ and all of His creatures 615. عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *\`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ be upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad. 616. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ\ *walssalamu \`alayhi wa \`alayhim*\ And peace be upon him and upon them 617. وَعَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَأَجْسَادِهِمْ\ *wa \`ala arwahihim wa ajsadihim*\ and upon their souls and bodies. 618. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\ *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\ So be Allah’s mercy and blessings. 619. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\ O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad 620. ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ ٱلْمَرْضِيِّينَ\ *al-awsya'i almardiyyina*\ the Successors and the pleased 621. بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ\ *bi-afdali salawatika*\ with the best of Your blessings, 622. وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ\ *wa barik \`alayhim*\ and confer upon them 623. بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ\ *bi-afdali barakatika*\ with the best of your favors. 624. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ\ *wa alssalamu \`alayhi wa \`alayhim*\ And peace be upon him and them 625. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\ *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\ and Allah’s mercy and blessings be also upon them. 626. اَللَّهُمَّ يَا أَجْوَدَ مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ\ *allahumma ya ajwada man a\`ta*\ O Allah, O He Who is the most magnanimous of all those who may grant! 627. وَيَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ\ *wa ya khayra man su'ila*\ O He Who is the best of all those who are asked! 628. وَيَا أَرْحَمَ مَنِ ٱسْتُرْحِمَ\ *wa ya arhama man isturhima*\ O He Who is the most Merciful of all those whose mercy may be sought! 629. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلأَوَّلِينَ\ *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-awwalina*\ O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the foremost generations, 630. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلآخِرِينَ\ *wa salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-akhirina*\ send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the last generations, 631. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلْمَلأِ ٱلأَعْلَىٰ\ *wa salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almala'i al-a\`la*\ send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Highest Chiefs, 632. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\ *wa salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almursalina*\ and send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Messengers. 633. اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَهُ\ *allahumma a\`ti muhammadan wa alahu*\ O Allah, (please) grant Muhammad and his Household 634. ٱلْوَسِيلَةَ وَٱلْفَضِيلَةَ\ *alwasilata walfadilata*\ the right of mediation, preference, 635. وَٱلشَّرَفَ وَٱلرِّفْعَةَ\ *walshsharafa walrrif\`ata*\ honor, loftiness, 636. وَٱلدَّرَجَةَ ٱلْكَبيرَةَ\ *walddarajata alkabirata*\ and the grand rank. 637. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ\ *allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin*\ O Allah, I believed in Muhammad, 638. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ\ *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu*\ may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him; 639. فَلاَ تَحْرِمْنِي فِي ٱلْقِيَامَةِ رُؤْيَتَهُ\ *fala tahrimni fi alqiyamati ru'yatahu*\ so, do not deprive me of seeing him on the Resurrection Day, 640. وَٱرْزُقْنِي صُحْبَتَهُ\ *warzuqni suhbatahu*\ confer upon me with the favor of accompanying him, 641. وَتَوَفَّنِي عَلَىٰ مِلَّتِهِ\ *wa tawaffani \`ala millatihi*\ cause me to die while I follow his creed, 642. وَٱسْقِنِي مِنْ حَوْضِهِ\ *wasqini min hawdihi*\ and allow me to drink from his Pool 643. مَشْرَباً رَوِيّاً\ *mashraban rawiyyan*\ a drink that is quenching, 644. سَائِغاً هَنِيئاً\ *sa'ighan hani'an*\ palatable, and pleasant, 645. لاَ أَظْمَأُ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً\ *la azma'u ba\`dahu abadan*\ after which I will never be thirsty. 646. إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ\ *innaka \`ala kulli shay'in qadirun*\ Indeed, You have power over all things. 647. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ\ *allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin*\ O Allah, I believe in Muhammad, 648. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ\ *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu*\ may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him; 649. فَعَرَِّفْنِي فِي ٱلْجِنَانِ وَجْهَهُ\ *fa\`arrifni fi aljinani wajhahu*\ so, (please) show me his face in the gardens of Paradise. 650. اَللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مُحَمَّداً\ *allahumma balligh muhammadan*\ O Allah, convey to Muhammad, 651. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\ *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\ may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, 652. مِنِّي تَحِيَّةً كَثيرَةً وَسَلاَماً\ *minni tahiyyatan kathiratan wa
