## Preface

The supplications of Friday, as arranged in Mafatih al-Jinan and gathered on one page by duas.org: the day's dua of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a) from Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, a greeting to the day, Sahifa 46 for the day of fast-breaking and Friday, and the day's remembrances and prayers for protection. The ziyarat of Imam al-Mahdi (a), whose day it is, is on its own page: Ziyarat for Friday.

Each line gives the Arabic, then the transliteration in italics, then the English.

*After the Fajr prayer on Friday, before you speak to anyone, say this, so that the sins of the past week are forgiven:*

1. اَللَّهُمَّ مَا قُلْتُ فِي جُمُعَتِي هٰذِهِ مِنْ قَوْلٍ\
   *allahumma ma qultu fi jumu\`ati hadhihi min qawlin*\
   O Allah, whatever saying I have uttered this week,

2. أَوْ حَلَفْتُ فِيهَا مِنْ حَلْفٍ\
   *aw halaftu fiha min halfin*\
   whatever oath I have taken during it,

3. أَوْ نَذَرْتُ فِيهَا مِنْ نَذْرٍ\
   *aw nadhartu fiha min nadhrin*\
   and whatever vow I have made during it,

4. فَمَشِيَّتُكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهِ\
   *famashiyyatuka bayna yaday dhalika kullihi*\
   truly, it is Your will that is before all that.

5. فَمَا شِئْتَ مِنْهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ كَانَ\
   *fama shi'ta minhu an yakuna kana*\
   Hence, only that which You will to have effect will come to pass

6. وَمَا لَمْ تَشَأْ مِنْهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ\
   *wa ma lam tasha' minhu lam yakun*\
   and whatever You do not will to have effect will never come to pass.

7. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱغْفِرْ لِي وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي\
   *allahumma ighfir li wa tajawaz \`anni*\
   O Allah, (please) forgive me and overlook my offenses.

8. اَللَّهُمَّ مَنْ صَلَّيْتَ عَلَيْهِ فَصَلاَتِي عَلَيْهِ\
   *allahumma man sallayta \`alayhi fasalati \`alayhi*\
   O Allah, whosoever You bless, then I invoke Your blessings upon him

9. وَمَنْ لَعَنْتَ فَلَعْنَتِي عَلَيْهِ\
   *wa man la\`anta fala\`nati \`alayhi*\
   and whosoever You curse, then I invoke Your curse upon him.

*Shaykh al-Tusi recommends this dua after the Fajr prayer on Friday:*

10. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي تَعَمَّدْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِحَاجَتِي\
   *allahumma inni ta\`ammadtu ilayka bihajati*\
   O Allah, I am resorting to You with my needs,

11. وَ أَنْزَلْتُ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ فَقْرِي\
   *wa anzaltu ilayka alyawma faqri*\
   and I am putting in Your presence my poverty,

12. وَفَاقَتِي وَمَسْكَنَتِي\
   *wa faqati wa maskanati*\
   my indigence, and my deprivation.

13. فَأَنَا لِمَغْفِرَتِكَ أَرْجىٰ مِنِّي لِعَمَلِي\
   *fa-ana limaghfiratika arja minni li\`amali*\
   Truly, I hope for Your forgiveness more than I rely on my deeds.

14. وَلَمَغْفِرَتُكَ وَرَحْمَتُكَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي\
   *wa lamaghfiratuka wa rahmatuka awsa\`u min dhunubi*\
   Indeed, Your forgiveness and Your mercy are more inclusive than my sins are.

15. فَتَوَلَّ قَضَاءَ كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ لِي بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَيْهَا\
   *fatawalla qada'a kulli hajatin li biqudratika \`alayha*\
   So, (please) embark on settling all my needs out of Your power over them,

16. وَتَيسِيرِ ذٰلِكَ عَلَيْكَ\
   *wa taysiri dhalika \`alayka*\
   out of the easiness for You to do that,

17. وَلِفَقْرِي إِلَيْكَ\
   *wa lifaqri ilayka*\
   and out of my urgent need for that.

18. فَإنِّي لَمْ أُصِبْ خَيْراً قَطُّ إِلاَّ مِنَكَ\
   *fa'inni lam usib khayran qattu illa minka*\
   Truly, I have not gained any good thing save from You

19. وَلَمْ يَصْرِفْ عَنِّي سُوءاً قَطُّ أَحَدٌ سِوَاكَ\
   *wa lam yasrif \`anni su'an qattu ahadun siwaka*\
   and none could ever repel evil from me save You.

20. وَلَسْتُ أَرْجُو لآِخِرَتِي وَدُنْيَايَ\
   *wa lastu arju li-akhirati wa dunyaya wa*\
   I hope for none to stand for me in my affairs of this world and the Next World

21. وَلاَ لِيَوْمِ فَقْرِي\
   *la liyawmi faqri*\
   and on the day of my poverty,

22. يَوْمَ يُفْرِدُنِي ٱلنَاسُ فِي حُفْرَتِي\
   *yawma yufriduni alnnasu fi hufrati*\
   when people will leave me alone in my hole (i.e. grave)

23. وَأُفْضي إِلَيْكَ بِذَنْبِي سِوَاكَ\
   *wa ufdi ilayka bidhanbi siwaka*\
   and I will then confess of my sins before You, except You.

*After the Fajr prayer, on Friday and on other days, say this salawat, one hundred times if you can; it is narrated that whoever says it will not die before meeting Imam al-Mahdi (a):*

24. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa \`ajjil farajahum*\
   O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Reappearance

*Recite Surah al-Rahman after the Fajr prayer, and each time you reach “Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?”, say:*

25. لَا بِشَيْءٍ مِن آلَاءِكَ رَبِّي اُكَذِّبُ\
   *la bishay'in min ala'ika rabbi ukadhdhibu.*\
   “None of Your favors do I deny,”

*Shaykh al-Tusi recommends reciting Surah al-Tawhid, the salawat one hundred times, and this istighfar one hundred times:*

26. أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ رَبّي وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ\
   *astaghfiru allaha rabbi wa atubu ilayhi*\
   I pray for the forgiveness of Allah—my Lord, and I repent before Him.

*Imam al-Sadiq (a) said that whoever says this after the Fajr prayer will have no sin recorded against him for a year:*

27. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ صَلاَتَكَ\
   *allahumma ij\`al salawatika*\
   O Allah, (please do) let Your blessings

28. وَصَلاَةَ مَلاَئكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ\
   *wa salata mala'ikatika wa rusulika*\
   and the blessings of Your angels and Messengers

29. عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *\`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   be on Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

*Before dawn on Friday, ahead of the Fajr prayer, recite this dua, recorded by Shaykh al-Tusi and Sayyid Ibn Tawus:*

30. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi*\
   O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,

31. وَهَبْ لِيَ ٱلْغَدَاةَ رِضَاكَ\
   *wa hab liya alghadata ridaka*\
   grant me Your satisfaction this very early morning,

32. وَأَسْكِنْ قَلْبِي خَوْفَكَ\
   *wa askin qalbi khawfaka*\
   place fear of You in my heart,

33. وَٱقْطَعْهُ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ\
   *waqta\`hu \`amman siwaka*\
   and separate it from (leaning to) anyone other than You,

34. حَتَّىٰ لاَ أَرْجُوَ وَلاَ أَخَافَ إِلاَّ إِيَّاكَ\
   *hatta la arjwa wa la akhafa illa iyyaka*\
   so that I will hope for and fear none save You.

35. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi*\
   O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household

36. وَهَبْ لِي ثَبَاتَ ٱلْيَقينِ\
   *wa hab li thabata alyaqini*\
   and grant me resolute faith,

37. وَمَحْضَ ٱلإِخْلاَصِ\
   *wa mahda al-ikhlasi*\
   pure sincerity (to You),

38. وَشَرَفَ ٱلتَّوْحيدِ\
   *wa sharafa alttawhidi*\
   honorable belief in (Your) oneness,

39. وَدَوَامَ ٱلاِسْتِقَامَةِ\
   *wa dawama al-istiqamati*\
   persistent straightness,

40. وَمَعْدِنَ ٱلصِّبْرِ\
   *wa ma\`dina alssabri*\
   essential tolerance,

41. وَٱلرِّضَا بِٱلْقَضَاءِ وَٱلْقَدَرِ\
   *walrrida bilqada'i walqadari*\
   and satisfaction with (Your) predetermination and decrees.

42. يَا قَاضِيَ حَوَائِجِ ٱلسَّائِلينَ\
   *ya qadiya hawa'iji alssa'ilina*\
   O He Who settles the needs of His beseechers;

43. يَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي ضَمِيرِ ٱلصَّامِتِينَ\
   *ya man ya\`lamu ma fi damiri alssamitina*\
   O He Who knows what is in the innermost of the silent;

44. صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ\
   *salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi*\
   send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,

45. وَٱسْتَجِبْ دُعَائِي\
   *wastajib du\`a'i*\
   respond to my prayers,

46. وَٱغْفِرْ ذَنْبِي\
   *waghfir dhanbi*\
   forgive my sins,

47. وَأَوْسِعْ رِزْقِي\
   *wa awsi\` rizqi*\
   expand my means of livelihood,

48. وَٱقْضِ حَوَائِجِي فِي نَفْسِي\
   *waqdi hawa'iji fi nafsi*\
   and settle the needs of myself

49. وَإِخْوَانِي فِي دِينِي وَأَهْلِي\
   *wa ikhwani fi dini wa ahli*\
   and my brethren-in-faith and my family members.

50. إِلٰهِي طُمُوحُ ٱلآمَالِ قَدْ خَابَتْ إِلاَّ لَدَيْكَ\
   *ilahi tumuhu al-amali qad khabat illa ladayka*\
   O Allah, all ambitions of expectations are disappointed except those addressed to You,

51. وَمَعَاكِفُ ٱلْهِمَمِ قَدْ تَعَطَّلَتْ إِلاَّ عَلَيْكَ\
   *wa ma\`akifu alhimami qad ta\`attalat illa \`alayka*\
   all resolute determinations are paralyzed except those relied upon You,

52. وَمَذَاهِبُ ٱلْعُقُولِ قَدْ سَمَتْ إِلاَّ إِلَيْكَ\
   *wa madhahibu al\`uquli qad samat illa ilayka*\
   and all reason-based tendencies are wasted except those directed to You.

53. فَأَنْتَ الَّرجَاءُ وَإِلَيْكَ الْمُلْتَجَأُ\
   *fa-anta alrraja'u wa ilayka almultaja'u*\
   So, You are the ultimate hope and to You is the resort.

54. يَا أَكْرَمَ مَقْصُودٍ وَأَجْوَدَ مَسْؤُولٍ\
   *ya akrama maqsudin wa ajwada mas'ulin*\
   O He Who is the noblest objective and the most magnanimous desired,

55. هَرَبْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِنَفْسِي\
   *harabtu ilayka binafsi*\
   I am fleeing to You from myself.

56. يَا مَلْجَأَ ٱلْهَارِبِينَ بِأَثْقَالِ ٱلذُّنُوبِ\
   *ya malja'a alharibina bi-athqali aldhdhunubi*\
   O shelter of those who flee overburdened with the heavy loads of sins,

57. أَحْمِلُهَا عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِي\
   *ahmiluha \`ala zahri*\
   carrying my sins on my back,

58. لاَ أَجِدُ لِي إِلَيْكَ شَافِعاً\
   *la ajidu li ilayka shafi\`an*\
   I cannot find any interceder for me

59. سِوَىٰ مَعْرِفَتِي بِأَنَّكَ أَقْرَبُ مَنْ رَجَاهُ ٱلطَّالِبُونَ\
   *siwa ma\`rifati bi'annaka aqrabu man rajahu alttalibuna*\
   except that I know for sure that You are the nearest of all those who are hoped by beseechers

60. وَأَمَّلَ مَا لَدَيْهِ ٱلرَّاغِبُونَ\
   *wa ammala ma ladayhi alrraghibuna*\
   and of all those whose donations are expected by the desirous.

61. يَا مَنْ فَتَقَ ٱلْعُقُولَ بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ\
   *ya man fataqa al\`uqula bima\`rifatihi*\
   O He Who has split the intellects on the recognition of Him,

62. وَأَطْلَقَ ٱلأَلْسُنَ بِحَمْدِهِ\
   *wa atlaqa al-alsuna bihamdihi*\
   made tongues articulate with the praising of Him

63. وَجَعَلَ مَا ٱمْتَنَّ بِهِ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِهِ فِي كِفَاءٍ لِتَاْدِيَةِ حَقِّهِ\
   *wa ja\`ala ma imtanna bihi \`ala \`ibadihi fi kifa'in lita'diyati haqqhi*\
   and made that which He has conferred upon His servants enough means for the fulfillment of their duties towards Him;

64. صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِهِ\
   *salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi*\
   (please) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,

65. وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ لِلشَّيْطَانِ عَلَىٰ عَقْلِي سَبيلاًَ\
   *wa la taj\`al lilshshaytani \`ala \`aqli sabilan*\
   do not give Satan any way (of success) over my reason,

66. وَلاَ لِلْبَاطِلِ عَلَىٰ عَمَلِي دَلِيلاً\
   *wa la lilbatili \`ala \`amali dalilan*\
   and do not give wrongness a way to reach my deeds.

*Say this three times before the Fajr prayer; it is narrated that your sins are forgiven, even if they are as many as the foam of the sea:*

67. أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ\
   *astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa*\
   I pray the forgiveness of Allah save Whom there is no god;

68. ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ\
   *alhayyu alqayyumu wa atubu ilayhi*\
   the Ever-living and Ever-subsisting,and I turn in repentance to Him

*When Friday morning dawns, say:*

69. أَصْبَحْتُ فِي ذِمَّةِ ٱللَّهِ\
   *asbahtu fi dhimmati allahi*\
   I begin this morning seeking the protection of Allah,

70. وَذِمَّةِ مَلاَئِكَتِهِ\
   *wa dhimmati mala'ikatihi*\
   the protection of His angels,

71. وَذِمَمِ أَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ عَلَيهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ\
   *wa dhimami anbiya'ihi wa rusulihi \`alayhimu alssalamu*\
   the protections of His prophets and messengers, peace be upon them,

72. وَذِمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *wa dhimmati muhammadin salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   the protection of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household,

73. وَذِمَمِ ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ مِنَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ\
   *wa dhimami al-awsiya'i min ali muhammadin \`alayhimu alssalamu*\
   and the protections of the Successors from Muhammad’s progeny, peace be upon them.

74. آمَنْتُ بِسِرِّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ وَعَلاَنِيَتِهِمْ\
   *amantu bisirri ali muhammadin \`alayhimu alssalamu wa \`alaniyatihim*\
   I believe in the secrets of Muhammad’s progeny, peace be upon them, and in their open affairs

75. وَظَاهِرِهِمْ وَبَاطِنِهِمْ\
   *wa zahirihim wa batinihim*\
   and in their exoteric and their esoteric affairs.

76. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُمْ فِي عِلْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَطَاعَتِهِ\
   *wa ash-hadu annahum fi \`ilmi allahi wa ta\`atihi*\
   I bear witness that they, as regarding their knowledge of Allah and their obedience to Him,

77. كَمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *ka-muhammadin salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   are just like Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household.

*Pray the two rak'at of the nafila of Fajr, and between it and the Fajr prayer say this one hundred times; Imam al-Sadiq (a) said it earns a house in Paradise:*

78. سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْعَظيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ\
   *subhana rabbiya al\`azimi wa bihamdihi*\
   All glory be to Allah, the All-great and with the Praising of Him;

79. اسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَاتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ\
   *astaghfiru allaha rabbi wa atubu ilayhi*\
   I pray the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I turn repentant to Him.

*Do the ghusl of Friday, one of its most strongly recommended acts, best between sunrise and midday, and say this; Imam al-Sadiq (a) said whoever does stays pure all week:*

80. أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ\
   *ash-hadu an la ilaha illa allahu*\
   I bear witness that there is no god except Allah,

81. وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَريكَ لَهُ\
   *wahdahu la sharika lahu*\
   the One, (there is) no associate with Him;

82. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ\
   *wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan \`abduhu wa rasuluhu*\
   and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.

83. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin waj\`alni mina alttawwabina*\
   O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

84. وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنَ ٱلتَّوَّابِينَ\
   *waj\`alni mina almutatahhirina*\
   and make me of those who turn to You constantly

85. وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنَ ٱلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ\
   *ash-hadu an la ilaha illa allahu*\
   and those who keep themselves pure and clean.

*Another dua after the ghusl of Friday, taught by Imam al-Ridha (a):*

86. اَللّٰهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِيْ وَ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِيْ وَ انْقِ غُسْلِيْ وَ اَجْرِ عَلٰى لِسَانِيْ ذِكْرَكَ وَ ذِكْرَ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِہٖ وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ التَّوَّابِيْنَ وَ مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِيْنَ.\
   *allaahumma tahhirnee wa tahhir qalbee wan qe ghuslee wa ajre a’laa lesaanee zikraka wa zikra nabiyyeka mohammadin sallal laaho a’layhe wa aalehi waj a’lnee menat tawwaabeena wa menal motatahhereen.*\
   O Allah! Purify me and purify my heart, adorn my bath, and make Your remembrance and remembrance of Your prophet Muhammad, peace of Allah be on him and his progeny, flow on my tongue. Make me among the repantent and the purified ones.

*Send blessings on the Prophet (s) and his Household (a) one thousand times on Friday, or at least one hundred times, in any form, such as this one:*

87. اَللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صَلَواتِكَ وَصَلَوَاتِ مَلَاْئِكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ وَجَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وأَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَعَليْهِمُ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ.

*Trim your moustache and nails on Friday, starting with the little finger of the left hand and ending with that of the right, and as you do, say:*

88. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِوَبِٱللَّهِ\
   *bismillahi wa billahi*\
   In the Name of Allah (I begin);and by (the command of) Allah

89. وَعَلَىٰ سُنَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *wa \`ala sunnati muhammadin wa ali muhammad*\
   and according to the tradition of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad (I do this).

*The Friday dua of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a):*

90. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ\
   *bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi*\
   In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

91. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ قَبْلَ ٱلْإِنْشَاءِ وَٱلْإِحْيَاءِ\
   *alhamdu lillahi al-awwali qabla al-insha'i wal-ihya'i*\
   All praise be to Allah, the First before the bringing forth and the giving of life,

92. وَٱلْآخِرِ بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ ٱلْأَشْيَاءِ\
   *wal-akhiri ba\`da fana'i al-ashya'i*\
   and the Last after the annihilation of all things,

93. ٱلْعَلِيمِ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَنْسَىٰ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ\
   *al\`alimi alladhi la yansa man dhakarahu*\
   the All-knowing Who forgets not him who remembers Him,

94. وَلاَ يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكَرَهُ\
   *wa la yanqusu man shakarahu*\
   decreases not him who thanks Him,

95. وَلاَ يُخَيِّبُ مَنْ دَعَاهُ\
   *wa la yukhayyibu man da\`ahu*\
   disappoints not him who supplicates Him,

96. وَلاَ يَقْطَعُ رَجَاءَ مَنْ رَجَاهُ\
   *wa la yaqta\`u raja'a man rajahu*\
   and cuts not off the hope of him who hopes in Him!

97. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ\
   *allahumma inni ush-hiduka*\
   O Allah, I call You to witness

98. وَكَفَىٰ بِكَ شَهيداً\
   *wa kafa bika shahidan*\
   and You are sufficient Witness

99. وَأُشْهِدُ جَمِيعَ مَلائِكَتِكَ\
   *wa ush-hidu jami\`a mala'ikatika*\
   and I call to witness all Your angels,

100. وَسُكَّانَ سَموَاتِكَ\
   *wa sukkana samawatika*\
   the inhabitants of Your heavens,

101. وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ\
   *wa hamalata \`arshika*\
   the bearers of Your Throne,

102. وَمَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ أَنْبيَائِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ\
   *wa man ba\`athta min anbiya'ika wa rusulika*\
   Your prophets and Your messengers whom You have sent out,

103. وَ أَنْشَاْتَ مِنْ أَصْنَافِ خَلْقِكَ\
   *wa ansha'ta min asnafi khalqika*\
   and the various kinds of creatures You have brought forth,

104. أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱللَّهُ\
   *anni ash-hadu annaka anta allahu*\
   that I bear witness that You are Allah;

105. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ\
   *la ilaha illa anta wahdaka*\
   there is no god but You, You alone,

106. لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَلاَ عَدِيلَ\
   *la sharika laka wa la \`adila*\
   Who have no associate nor any equal,

107. وَلاَ خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَلاَ تَبْدِيلَ\
   *wa la khulfa liqawlika wa la tabdila*\
   and Your word has no failing, nor any change;

108. وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ\
   *wa anna muhammadan salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi \`abduka wa rasuluka*\
   and that Muhammad, Allah bless him and his Household, is Your servant and Your messenger;

109. أَدَّىٰ مَا حَمَّلْتَهُ إِلَىٰ ٱلْعِبَادِ\
   *adda ma hammaltahu ila al\`ibadi*\
   he delivered to the servants that with which You charged him,

110. وَجَاهَدَ فِي ٱللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَقَّ ٱلْجِهَادِ\
   *wa jahada fi allahi \`azza wa jalla haqqa aljihadi*\
   struggled for Allah as is His due,

111. وَ أَنَّهُ بَشَّرَ بِما هُوَ حَقُّ مِنَ ٱلثَّوابِ\
   *wa annahu bashshara bima huwa haqqun min alththawabi*\
   gave the good news of the truth of reward,

112. وَ أَنْذَرَ بِما هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ ٱلعِقَابِ\
   *wa andhara bima huwa sidqun min al\`iqabi*\
   and warned of the veracity of punishment.

113. اَللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِي عَلَىٰ دِينِكَ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي\
   *allahumma thabbitni \`ala dinika ma ahyaytani*\
   O Allah, make me firm in Your religion as long as You keep me alive,

114. وَلاَ تُزِغْ قَلْبِي بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنِي\
   *wa la tuzigh qalbi ba\`da idh hadaytani*\
   make not my heart swerve after You have guided me,

115. وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً\
   *wa hab li min ladunka rahmatan*\
   and give me mercy from You,

116. إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ\
   *innaka anta alwahhabu*\
   surely, You are the All-bestower.

117. صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

118. وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَتْبَاعِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِ\
   *waj\`alni min atba\`ihi wa shi\`atihi*\
   make me one of his followers and his partisans,

119. وَٱحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَتِهِ\
   *wahshurni fi zumratihi*\
   muster me in his band,

120. وَوَفِّقْنِي لأَدَاءِ فَرْضِ ٱلْجُمُعَاتِ\
   *wa waffiqni li-ada'i fardi aljumu\`ati*\
   and give me the success of accomplishing the obligatory observance of Fridays,

121. وَمَا أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلطَّاعَاتِ\
   *wa ma awjabta \`alayya fiha min atta\`ati*\
   performing the acts of obedience which You have made incumbent upon me within it,

122. وَقَسَمْتَ لأَهْلِهَا مِنَ ٱلعَطَاءِ\
   *wa qasamta li-ahliha min al\`ata'i*\
   and receiving the bestowal which You have apportioned for its people

123. فِي يَوْمِ ٱلْجزَاءِ\
   *fi yawmi aljaza'i*\
   on the Day of Recompense!

124. إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ\
   *innaka anta al\`azizu alhakimu*\
   Surely, You are the Almighty, the All-wise!

*Say this seven times on Friday; the Prophet (s) said that whoever does and dies that day will enter Paradise:*

125. اَللَّهُمَّ انْتَ رَبِّي\
   *allahumma anta rabbi*\
   O Allah, You are my Lord;

126. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ\
   *la ilaha illa anta*\
   there is no god save You;

127. خَلَقْتَني وَانَا عَبْدُكَ وَٱبْنُ امَتِكَ\
   *khalaqtani wa ana \`abduka wabnu amatika*\
   You have created me, and I am Your slave and the son of Your bondmaid;

128. وَفي قَبْضَتِكَ وَنَاصِيَتي بِيَدِكَ\
   *wa fi qabdatika wa nasiyati biyadika*\
   and I am in Your grip; and my forehead is in Your Hand;

129. امْسَيْتُ عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُ\
   *amsaytu \`ala \`ahdika wa wa\`dika maistata\`tu*\
   I come to observe my covenant and promise to You as much as I can.

130. اعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ\
   *a\`udhu biridaka min sharri ma sana\`tu*\
   I take refuge in Your pleasure against the evil of my deeds.

131. ابُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَابُوءُ بِذَنْبِي\
   *abu'u bini\`matika wa abu'u bidhanbi*\
   I acknowledge Your favors and confess of my sins.

*After sunrise on Friday, greet the new day with this dua, which Imam Musa al-Kazim (a) taught Muhammad ibn Sinan:*

132. بِسْمِ الله الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ\
   In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

133. اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْيَوْمُ الْجَدِيدُ الْمُبَارَكُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عِيداً لِأَوْلِيَائِهِ الْمُطَهَّرِينَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ\
   Peace be upon you, O blessed new day, which God has made a holiday for His saints, purified from filth and free from impurity.

134. الْخَارِجِينَ عَنِ الْبَلْوَى الْمَكْرُورِينَ مَعَ أَوْلِيَائِهِ الْمُصطَفَّيْنَ مِنَ الْعَكَرِ الْبَاذِلِينَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ مَعَ أَوْلِيَاءِ الرَّحْمَنِ تَسْلِيماً السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ سَلَاماً دَائِماً أَبَداً.\
   O those who are honored with His guardians, chosen from the desert, sacrificing themselves with the guardians of the Most Gracious. Peace be upon you, an everlasting peace

*Then turn towards the sun and say:*

135. اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ أَيَّتُهَا الشَّمْسُ الطَّالِعَةُ وَالنُّورُ الْفَاضِلُ الْبَهِيُّ أُشْهِدُكِ بِتَوْحِيدِ اللَّهِ لِتَكُونِي شَاهِدِي إِذَا ظَهَرَ الرَّبُّ لِفَصْلِ الْقَضَاءِ فِي الْعَالَمِ الْجَدِيدِ.\
   Peace be upon you, O rising sun and the virtuous and splendid light. I call you to bear witness to the oneness of God, so that you will be my witness when the Lord appears to decide the judgment In the new world.

136. اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ أَنْ تُشَوِّهَ خَلْقِي وَأَنْ تُرَدِّدَ رُوحِي فِي الْعَذَابِ بِنُورِكَ الْمَحْجُوبِ عَنْ كُلِّ نَاظِرٍ نَوِّرْ قَلْبِي فَإِنِّي أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَفِي قَبْضَتِكَ وَلَا رَبَّ لِي سِوَاكَ.\
   O God, I seek refuge in You and the light of Your honorable face from distorting my character. And if my soul in torment hesitates with your light, which is hidden from every beholder, the light of my heart,for I am your servant and in your grip, and I have no Lord but you.

137. اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِقَلْبٍ خَاضِعٍ وَإِلَى وَلِيِّكَ بِبَدَنٍ خَاشِعٍ وَإِلَى الْأَئِمَّةِ الرَّاشِدِينَ بِفُؤَادٍ مُتَوَاضِعٍ وَإِلَى النُّقَبَاءِ الْكِرَامِ وَالنُّجَبَاءِ الْأَغِرَّةِ بِالذُّلِّ وَأَرْغُمُ أَنْفِي لِمَنْ وَحَّدَكَ وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ وَلَا خَالِقَ سِوَاكَ\
   O Allah, I seek nearness to You with a humble heart, and to Your guardian with a submissive body, and to the righteous leaders with a humble soul. And to the honorable nobles and chosen elite, I humble myself. I lower my face in submission to the One who has singled You out, and there is no god but You, and there is no creator except You.

138. وَأُصَغِّرُ خَدِّي لِأَوْلِيَائِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَأَفْضِي عَنْكَ كُلَّ ضِدٍّ وَنِدٍّ أَعْطِنِي مِنْ مَعْرُوفِكَ مَعْرُوفاً تُغْنِينِي بِهِ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.\
   I humble myself to Your close allies and turn away from every enemy.

139. فَإِنِّي عَبْدُكَ الذَّلِيلُ الْمُعْتَرِفُ بِذَنْبِي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا سَيِّدِي حَطَّهَا عَنِّي وَتَخْلِيصِي مِنَ الْأَدْنَاسِ وَالْأَرْجَاسِ.\
   Indeed, I am Your humble servant, acknowledging my sins. I beseech You, O my Lord, to pardon them.And save me from impurities and abominations.

140. إِلَهِي وَسَيِّدِي قَدِ انْقَطَعْتُ عَنْ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَاسْتَغْنَيْتُ بِكَ عَنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا مُتَعَرِّضاً لِمَعْرُوفِكَ\
   My God and Master, I have been cut off from my kindred and dispensed with you from the people of the world, deprived of your kindness. Grant me from your kindness a favor by which you will enrich me from those who Except you.

*Another dua for Friday, recorded in al-Kafi:*

141. اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْني أخْشاكَ كأني أراكَ وَأسْعِدْني بِتَقْواكَ، وَلاتُشْقِني بِنَشْطي لِمَعاصيكَ وَخِرْ لي في قَضائِكَ وَبارِكْ لي في قَدَرِكَ حَتّى لا أحُبَّ تأخيرَ ما عَجّلْتَ وَلاتَعْجيلَ ماأخّرْتَ،\
   *allahummaj-a’lnee akhshaaka h’attaa ka annee araaka wa as-i’dnee bi-taqwaaka wa laa tushqinee bi-ma-a’as’eeka wa khir lee fee qaz”aaa-ika wa baarik lee fee qadrika h’attaa laa uh’ibba taa’jeela maa akhkharta wa laa taakheera maa a’jjalta*\
   O Allah make me submissive, till I surrender to You, make me happy by putting “fear of God” in my heart, Do not make me miserable on account of disobedience to You. Write (prescribe) for me freedom from pain, trouble and anxiety, make ready for me blessings and happiness, so that what is last does not come in advance. Or what is urged to happen quickly is not delayed. Give me contentment and an independent disposition.

142. واجْعَلْ غِناي في نَفْسي وَمَتِعْني في سَمْعي وَبَصَري وَاجْعَلْهُما الوارِثَيْنِ مِنّي، وَانْصِرْني عَلى مَنْ ظَلَمَني وَأرِني فيهِ قُدْرَتَكَ يارَبِّ وَأقِرَّ بِفَضْلِكَ عَيْني.\
   *waj-a’l ghinaaya fee nafsee wa mattia’-nee bi-sam-e’e. wa bas’aree waj-a’l humal waaritheena minnee wan s’urnee a’laa man z’alamanee wa arinee feehi qudrataka yaa rabbi wa aqrir bid’aalika a’ynee*\
   Make me derive advantage from the power of hearing (listen to and accept advise and obey), And seeing (discernment, intelligence, and perception of truth); And both of them to my inheritors (children) Give me an upper hand over him who intimidates me, and treat me well through Your might and power;

143. اللّهُمَّ أعِنّي عَلى هَوْلِ يَوْمِ القيامَةِ، وَأخْرِجْني مِنَ الدُّنْيا سالِما، وَزَوِّجني مِنَ الحورِ العينِ، وَاكْفِني مؤُونَتي وَمؤُونَةَ عيالي وَمؤُونَةَ النّاسِ، وَأدْخِلْني بِرَحْمَتِكَ في عِبادِكَ الصالِحينَ.\
   *allahumma a-i’nnee a’laa hawli yawmil qiyaamah wa akhrijnee minad dunyaa saaliman wa adkhinil jannata aaminan’w wa zawwijnee minal h’ooril e’eni wakfinee moo-natee wa moo-nata a’yaalee wa moo-natan naasi wa adkhilnee birah’matika fee i’baadikas’ s’aalih’eena*\
   O Lord, and keep me in that exact state. O Allah! Attend to and take care of me in the frightening hours of the Day of Judgment. Make me leave this world in safe and sound condition, and enter the permanent land of bliss and beauty (Paradise) in peace and tranquility; And join the delightful charming people who have refined manners, intelligent minds and beautiful faces, multiply provisions allotted to me, and to my dependents, also promote welfare of the people and make me sit, through Your mercy, in the company of Your upright servants.

144. اللّهُمَّ إنْ تُعَذِّبْني فَأهْلٌ لِذلِكَ أنا وَإنْ تَغْفِرْ لي فأهْلٌ لِذلك أنْتَ ، وكيف تعذبني\
   *allahumma in u-a’d’d’ibnee fa-ahlun lid’aalika anaa wa in taghfir lee fa-ahlun lid’aalika anta wa kayfa tu-a’d’d’ibnee*\
   O Allah! If penalized (it means) I deserved punishment; if forgiven ( it is because) You are (the Most Merciful) Master. How would You punish?

145. يا سيدي وحبك في قلبي ، أما وعزتك لئن فعلت لتجمعن بيني وبين قوم طالما عاديتهم فيك\
   *yaa sayyidee wa h’ubbuka fee qalbee amaa wa i’zzatika la-in fa-a’lta d’aalika bee li-najma-u’nna baynee wa bayna qawmin t’aala maa a’adaytuhum feeka*\
   O My Master! My heart is full of Your Love, undoubtedly, and Your absolute authority, very kindly, take notice of that, and keep us together with people who are given respite. How much less attention they may pay to Your commands

146. اللهم بحق أوليائك الطاهرين اللّهُمَّ إرْزِقْنا صِدْقَ الحَديثِ وَأداءِ الامانَةِ وَالُمحافَظَةَ عَلى الصلواتِ،\
   *allaahumma bih’aqqi awliyaa-ikat’ t’aahireena a’layimus salaam arzuqnaa s’idqal h’adeethi wa adaaa-al amaanatil muh’aafaz’ata a’las’ s’alawaati*\
   O Allah! For the sake of Your pure and pious friends, peace be upon them, make us preserve true traditions of the Holy Prophet (s), And come up to the confidence put in us, to keep safe and watch over the “backbone” of Your religion (adoration and worship of Allah).

147. اللّهُمَّ إنَّا أحَقُّ خَلْقِكَ أنْ تَفْعَلَهُ بِنا، اللّهُمَّ افْعَلْهُ بِنا برحمتك\
   *allaahumma innaa ah’aqqu khalqika an taf-a’la a’aalika binaa allaahummaf a’lhu binaa birah’matika*\
   O Allah! Truly, we are the worthiest among your creation, treat us in that context. O Allah! Treat us mercifully.

148. اللّهُمَّ ارْفَعْ ظَنّي صاعِداً وَلا تُطْمِعْ فِيَّ عَدوّا وَلا حاسِداً وَأحْفَظْنِي قائِما وَقاعِداً وَيَقْظانَ وَراقِداً،\
   *allaahumma arfaa’z’annee ilayka s’aa-i’dan wa laa tat’ma-inna fiyya a’duwwan wa laa h’aasidan wah’faz’nee qaaa-iman wa qaa-i’dan wa yaqt’anna wa raaqidan*\
   O Allah! Make my knowledge about you of the highest quality. Do not let me drown myself in hatred, nor feel resentful; keep me steadfast, within bounds, obedient, enduring.

149. اللّهُمَّ إغْفِرْ لي وَارْحَمْني وَاهْدِني سَبيلَكَ الاقْوَمُ وَقِني حَرَّ جَهَنَّمَ وَ احْطِطْ عَنّي المَغْرَمَ وَالمَأثَمَ وَاجْعَلْني مِنْ خيارِ العالَمِ.\
   *allaahummaghfir lee warh’amnee wahdinee sabeelakal aqwamu wa qinee h’arra jahannama wa h’areeqal muz”rami wah’t’ut’ a’nnil maghrama wal maa-thuma waj-a’lnee min khiyaaril a’alami*\
   O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me, make me strive in Your way honestly, free me from the heat of burning Hell, from being consumed by the blazing fire, make less what I have to pay back, and punishment I deserve, make me be one of the choicest people for all times.

150. إرْحَمْني مَمّا لاطاقَةَ لي بِهِ وَلاصَبْرَ لي عَلَيْهِ. برحمتك يا أرحم الرحمين ، اللهم صل على محمد وآهل بيته الطيبين الطاهرين\
   *allaahumma arh’amnee mimmaa laa t’aaqai lee bihee wa laa s’abra lee a’layhi bi-rah’matika yaa arh’amar raah’imeen allaahumma s’alli a’laa muh’ammadin’w wa aali muh’ammad.*\
   O Allah! Have mercy on me because have not the strength, nor patience to withstand it (punishment), Through Your mercy, O the Most Merciful. O Allah send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad.

*Dua 46 of al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, which Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a) recited on Friday and on the day of Eid al-Fitr:*

151. يَا مَنْ يَرْحَمُ مَنْ لا يَرْحَمُهُ الْعِبَادُ.\
   *yaa may-yar-h'amu mal-laa yar-h'amuhul-i'baad*\
   O He who has mercy upon him toward whom the servants show no mercy!

152. وَيَا مَنْ يَقْبَلُ مَنْ لا تَقْبَلُهُ الْبِلاَدُ.\
   *wa yaa may-yaq-balu mal-laa taq-baluhul-bilaad*\
   O He who accepts him whom the cities will not accept!

153. وَيَا مَن لاَ يَحْتَقِرُ أَهْلَ الْحَاجَةِ إلَيْهِ.\
   *wa yaa mal-laa yah'-taqiru ah-lal-h'aajati ilay-h*\
   O He who looks not down upon those who have need of Him!

154. وَيَا مَنْ لا يُخَيِّبُ المَلِحِّيْنَ عَلَيْـهِ،\
   *wa yaa mal-laa yukhay-yibul-mulih'-h'eena a'lay-h*\
   O He who disappoints not those who implore Him!

155. وَيَا مَنْ لاَ يَجْبَهُ بِالرَّدِّ أَهْلَ الدَّالَّةِ عَليهِ،\
   *wa yaa mal-laa yaj-bahoo bir-rad-di ah-lad-daaal-lati a'lay-h*\
   O He who slaps not the brow of the people of boldness toward Him with rejection!

156. وَيَا مَنْ يَجْتَبِي صَغِيرَ مَايُتْحَفُ بِهِ،\
   *wa yaa may-yaj-tabee s'agheera maa yut-h'afu bihee*\
   O He who collects the little that is given to Him

157. وَيَشْكُرُ يَسِيرَ مَا يُعْمَلُ لَهُ.\
   *wa yash-kuru yaseera maa yua'-malu lah*\
   and shows gratitude for the paltry that is done for Him!

158. وَيَامَنْ يَشْكُرُ عَلَى الْقَلِيْلِ، وَيُجَازيْ بِالْجَلِيلِ،\
   *wa yaa may-yash-kuru a'laal-qaleeli wa yujaazee bil-jaleel*\
   O He who shows gratitude for the small and rewards with the great!

159. وَيَا مَنْ يَدْنُو إلَى مَنْ دَنا مِنْهُ\
   *wa yaa may-yad-nooo ilaa man danaa min-h*\
   O He who comes close to him who comes close to Him!

160. وَيَا مَنْ يَدعُو إلَى نَفْسِهِ مَنْ أَدْبَرَ عَنْهُ،\
   *wa yaa may-yad-o'ow ilaa naf-sihee man ad-bara a'n-h*\
   O He who invites to Himself him who turns his back on Him!

161. وَيَا مَنْ لا يُغَيِّرُ النِّعْمَةَ، وَلا يُبَادِرُ بِالنَّقِمَةِ،\
   *wa yaa mal-laa yughay-yirun-nia'-mah wa laa yubaadiru bin-naq-mah*\
   O He who changes not favour and rushes not to vengeance!

162. وَيَا مَنْ يُثْمِرُ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّى يُنْمِيَهَا،\
   *wa yaa may-yuth-mirul-h'asanata h'at-taa yunam-meeahaa*\
   O He who causes the good deed to bear fruit so that He may make it grow,

163. وَيَتَجَاوَزُ عَنِ السَّيِّئَةِ حَتَّى يُعَفِّيَهَا.\
   *wa yatajaawazu a'nis-sayi-ati h'at-taa yua'f-feeahaa*\
   and overlooks the evil deed so that He may efface it!

164. انْصَرَفَتِ الآمَالُ دُونَ مَدى كَرَمِكَ بِالحَاجَاتِ\
   *ans'arafatil-aaamaalu doona madaa karamika bil-h'aajaat*\
   Hopes turn back with needs fulfilled short of the extent of Your generosity,

165. وَامْتَلاَتْ بِفَيْضِ جُودِكَ أَوْعِيَةُ الطَّلِبات،\
   *wam-talaat bifay-z''i joodika aw-e'eatut'-t'alibaat*\
   the cups of requests fill up with the overflow of Your munificence,

166. وَتَفَسَّخَتْ دُونَ بُلُوغِ نَعْتِـكَ الصِّفَاتُ،\
   *wa tafas-sakhat d-doona bulooghi naa'-tikas'-s'ifaatu*\
   and attributes fall apart without reaching Your description.

167. فَلَكَ الْعُلُوُّ الأعْلَى فَوْقَ كُلِّ عَال،\
   *falakal-u'loo-wul-aa'-laa faw-qa kul-li a'al*\
   For to You belongs the highest highness above everything high,

168. وَالْجَلاَلُ الأمْجَدُ فَوْقَ كُلِّ جَلاَل،\
   *wal-jalaalul-am-jadu faw-qa kul-li jalaal*\
   and the most glorious majesty beyond every majesty!

169. كُلُّ جَلِيْل عِنْدَكَ صَغِيرٌ،\
   *kul-lu jaleelin i'ndaka s'agheer*\
   Everything majestic before You is small,

170. وَكُلُّ شَرِيف فِي جَنْبِ شَرَفِكَ حَقِيرٌ،\
   *wa kul-lu shareefin fee jambi sharafika h'aqeer*\
   everything eminent beside Your eminence vile!

171. خَابَ الْوَافِدُونَ عَلَى غَيْرِكَ،\
   *khaabal-waafidoona a'laa ghay-rik*\
   Those who reach other than You are disappointed,

172. وَخَسِرَ الْمُتَعَرِّضُونَ إلاَّ لَكَ، وَضَاعَ الْمُلِمُّونَ إلاّ بِكَ،\
   *wa khasiral-mutaa'r-riz''oona il-laa lak wa z''aaa'l-mulim-moona il-laa bik*\
   those who present themselves to other than You have lost, those who stay with other than You have perished,

173. وَأَجْدَبَ الْمُنْتَجِعُـونَ إلاَّ مَنِ انْتَجَعَ فَضْلَكَ،\
   *wa aj-dabal-muntajiu'wna il-laa mani antajaa' faz''-lak*\
   and those who retreat - except those who retreat to Your bounty - are desolate!

174. بَابُكَ مَفْتُوحٌ لِلرَّاغِبِينَ، وَجُودُكَ مُبَاحٌ لِلسَّائِلِينَ،\
   *baabuka maf-tooh'ul-lilr-raaghibeen wa jooduka mubaah'ul-lils-saaa-ileen*\
   Your door is open to the beseechers, Your munificence free to the askers,

175. وَإغاثَتُكَ قَرِيبَةٌ مِنَ الْمُسْتَغِيْثِينَ،\
   *wa ighaathatuka qareebatum-minal-mus-tagheetheen*\
   Your help near to the help-seekers!

176. لاَ يَخِيبُ مِنْـكَ الآمِلُونَ، وَلاَ يَيْأَسُ مِنْ عَطَائِكَ الْمُتَعَرِّضُونَ،\
   *laa yakheebu minkal-aaamiloon wa laa yay-asu min a't'aaa-ikal-mutaa'r-riz''oon*\
   The expectant are not disappointed by You, those who present themselves despair not of Your bestowal,

177. وَلا يَشْقَى بِنَقْمَتِكَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرُونَ.\
   *wa laa yash-qaa binaqimatikal-mus-tagh-firoon*\
   the forgiveness-seekers become not wretched through Your vengeance!

178. رِزْقُكَ مَبْسُوطٌ لِمَنْ عَصَاكَ،\
   *riz-quka mab-soot'ul-liman a's'aak*\
   Your provision is spread among those who disobey You,

179. وَحِلْمُكَ مُعْتَـرِضٌ لِمَنْ نَاوَاكَ،\
   *wa h'il-muka mua'-tariz''ul-liman-naawaaka*\
   Your clemency presents itself to those hostile toward You,

180. عَادَتُكَ الإحْسَـانُ إلَى الْمُسِيئينَ،\
   *a'adatukal-ih'-saanu ilaal-musee-een*\
   Your habit is beneficence toward the evildoers,

181. وَسُنَّتُـكَ الإبْقَاءُ عَلَى الْمُعْتَدِينَ\
   *wa sun-natukal-ib-qaaa-u a'laal-mua'-tadeen*\
   and Your wont is to spare the transgressors,

182. حَتَّى لَقَدْ غَرَّتْهُمْ أَنَاتُكَ عَنِ الرُّجُوعِ،\
   *h'at-taa laqad- ghar-rat-hum anaatuka a'nir-rujooa'-*\
   so much so that Your lack of haste deludes them from returning,

183. وَصَدَّهُمْ إمْهَالُكَ عَن النُّزُوعِ.\
   *wa s'ad-dahum im-haaluka a'nin-nuzooa'*\
   and Your disregard bars them from desisting!

184. وَإنَّمَا تَأَنَّيْتَ بهمْ لِيَفِيئُوا إلَى أَمْرِكَ،\
   *wa in-namaa taan-nay-ta bihim leeafee-oo ilaaa am-rik*\
   You act without haste toward them so that they will come back to Your command

185. وَأَمْهَلْتَهُمْ ثِقَةً بِدَوَامِ مُلْكِكَ،\
   *wa am-hal-tahum thiqatam-bidawaami mul-kik*\
   and You disregard them confident in the permanence of Your kingdom,

186. فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ السَّعَادَةِ خَتَمْتَ لَهُ بِهَا،\
   *faman kaana min ah-lis-saa'adati khatam-ta lahoo bihaa*\
   so You seal him who is worthy of it with felicity,

187. وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّقَاوَةِ خَذَلْتَهُ لَهَا،\
   *wa man kaana min ah-lish-shaqaawati khad'al-tahoo lahaa*\
   and You abandon him who is worthy of it to wretchedness!

188. كُلُّهُمْ صَائِرُونَ إلَى حُكْمِكَ وَأُمُورُهُمْ آئِلَةٌ إلَى أَمْـرِكَ،\
   *kul-luhum s'aaa-iroona ilaa h'uk-mik wa umooruhum aaa-ilatun ilaaa am-rik*\
   All of them come home to Your decree, their affairs revert to Your command;

189. لَمْ يَهِنْ عَلَى طُـولِ مُـدَّتِهِمْ سُلْطَانُـكَ\
   *lam yahin a'laa t'ooli mud-datihim sul-t'aanuk*\
   Your authority grows not feeble through their drawn out term,

190. وَلَمْ يَـدْحَضْ لِتَـرْكِ مُعَاجَلَتِهِمْ بُرْهَانُكَ.\
   *wa lam yud-h'az'' litar-ki mua'ajalatihim bur-haanuk*\
   Your proof is not refuted by the failure to hurry after them.

191. حُجَّتُكَ قَائِمَةٌ لاَ تُدْحَضُ،\
   *h'uj-jatuka qaaa-imatul-laa tud-h'az''*\
   Your argument is established, never refuted,

192. وَسُلْطَانُكَ ثَابِتٌ لا يَزُولُ،\
   *wa sul-t'aanuka thaabitul-laa yazool*\
   Your authority fixed, never removed.

193. فَالْوَيْلُ الدَّائِمُ لِمَنْ جَنَحَ عَنْكَ،\
   *fal-way-lud-daaa-imu liman janah'a a'nk*\
   Permanent woe belongs to him who inclines away from You,

194. وَالْخَيْبَةُ الْخَاذِلَةُ لِمَنْ خَابَ مِنْكَ،\
   *wal-khay-batu alkhaad'ilatu liman khaaba mink*\
   forsaking disappointment to him who is disappointed by You,

195. وَالشَّقاءُ الاشْقَى لِمَنِ اغْتَرَّ بِكَ.\
   *wash-shaqaaa-ul-ash-qaa limani agh-tar-ra bik*\
   and the most wretched wretchedness to him who is deluded about You!

196. مَا أكْثَرَ تَصَرُّفَهُ فِي عَذَابِكَ،\
   *maaa ak-thara tas'ar-rufahoo fee a'd'aabika?*\
   How much he will move about in Your chastisement!

197. وَمَا أَطْوَلَ تَرَدُّدَهُ فِيْ عِقَابِكَ،\
   *wa maaa at'-wala tarad-dudahoo fee i'qaabika?*\
   How long he will frequent Your punishment!

198. وَمَا أَبْعَدَ غَايَتَهُ مِنَ الْفَرَجِ،\
   *wa maaa ab-a'da ghaayatahoo minal-faraji?*\
   How far his utmost end from relief!

199. وَمَا أَقْنَطَهُ مِنْ سُهُولَةِ الْمَخْرَجِ\
   *wa maaa aq-nat'ahoo min suhoolatil-makh-raji?*\
   How he will despair of an easy exit!

200. عَدْلاً مِنْ قَضَائِكَ لاَ تَجُورُ فِيهِ،\
   *a'd-lam-min qaz''aaa-ika laa tajooru feeh*\
   \[All of this\] as justice from Your decree (You are not unjust in it!),

201. وَإنْصَافاً مِنْ حُكْمِكَ لاَ تَحِيفُ عَلَيْهِ،\
   *wa ins'aafam-min h'uk-mika laa tah'eefu a'lay-h*\
   and equity from Your judgement (You do not act wrongfully against him!).

202. فَقَدْ ظَاهَرْتَ الْحُجَجَ، وَأَبْلَيْتَ الاعْذَارَ،\
   *faqad z'aahar-tal-h'ujaj wa ab-lay-tal-aa'-d'aar*\
   You supported the arguments, tested the excuses,

203. وَقَـدْ تَقَدَّمْتَ بِـالْوَعِيْـدِ وَتَلَطَّفْتَ فِي التَّرْغِيْبِ،\
   *wa qad t-taqad-dam-ta bil-wae'ed wa talat'-t'af-ta fit-tar-gheeb*\
   began with threats, showed gentleness with encouragement,

204. وَضَرَبْتَ الامْثَالَ، وَأَطَلْتَ الاِمْهَالَ،\
   *wa z''arab-tal-am-thaal wa at'al-tal-im-haal*\
   struck similitudes, made long the respite,

205. وَأَخَّرْتَ وَأَنْتَ مُسْتَطِيعٌ لِلْمُعَاجَلَةِ،\
   *wa akh-khar-ta wa anta mus-tat'eeu'l-lil-mua'ajalah*\
   delayed, while You are able to hurry,

206. وَتَأَنَّيْتَ وَأَنْتَ مَليءٌ بِالْمُبَادَرَةِ،\
   *wa taan-nay-ta wa anta malee-um-bil-mubaadarah*\
   and acted without haste, while You are full of quick accomplishment!

207. لَمْ تَكُنْ أَنَاتُكَ عَجْزاً، وَلا إمْهَالُكَ وَهْناً،\
   *lam takun anaatuka a'j-zaa wa laaa im-haaluka wah-naa*\
   Not because of incapacity is Your slowness, feebleness Your giving respite,

208. وَلاَ إمْسَاكُكَ غَفْلَةً، وَلاَ انْتِظَارُكَ مُدَارَاةً،\
   *wa laaa im-saakuka ghaf-lah wa laa antiz'aaruka mudaaraah*\
   heedlessness Your showing restraint, dissemblance Your waiting!

209. بَلْ لِتَكُونَ حُجَّتُكَ أَبْلَغَ، وَكَرَمُكَ أكمَلَ،\
   *bal-litakoona h'uj-jatuka ab-lagh wa karamuka ak-mal*\
   But that Your argument be more conclusive, Your generosity more perfect,

210. وَإحْسَانُكَ أَوْفَى وَنِعْمَتُكَ أَتَمَّ،\
   *wa ih'-saanuka aw-faa wa nia'-matuka atam*\
   Your beneficence more exhaustive, Your favour more complete!

211. كُلُّ ذلِكَ كَانَ وَلَمْ تَزَلْ، وَهُوَ كائِنٌ وَلاَ تَزَالُ ،\
   *kul-lu d'alika kaana wa lam tazal wa huwa kaaa-inoo-wa laa tazaal*\
   All of this has been and always was, is and ever will be.

212. حُجَّتُكَ أَجَلُّ مِنْ أَنْ توصَفَ بِكُلِّهَا،\
   *h'uj-jatuka ajal-lu min an toos'afa bikul-lihaa*\
   Your argument is greater than that its totality be described,

213. وَمَجْدُكَ أَرْفَـعُ مِنْ أَنْ يُحَدَّ بِكُنْهِهِ،\
   *wa maj-duka ar-fau' min ay-yuh'ad-da bikun-hih*\
   Your glory more elevated than that it be limited in its core,

214. وَنِعْمَتُكَ أكْثَرُ مِنْ أَنْ تُحْصَى بِأَسْرِهَا،\
   *wa nia'-matuka ak-tharu min an tuh'-s'aa bi s-rihaa*\
   Your favour more abundant than that its entirety be counted,

215. وَإحْسَانُكَ أكْثَرُ مِنْ أَنْ تُشْكَرَ عَلَى أَقَلِّهِ،\
   *wa ih'-saanuka ak-tharu min an tush-kara a'laaa aqal-lih*\
   Your beneficence more abundant than that thanks be given for its least amount!

216. وَقَدْ قَصَّرَ بِيَ السُّكُوتُ عَنْ تَحْمِيدِكَ،\
   *wa qad qas'-s'ara beeas-sukootu a'n tah'-meedik*\
   Speechlessness has made me fall short of praising You,

217. وَفَهَّهَنِي الإمْسَاكُ عَنْ تَمْجيدِكَ،\
   *wa fah-hahaneel-im-saaku a'n tam-jeedik*\
   restraint has made me powerless to glorify You,

218. وَقُصَارَايَ الإقْرَارُ بِالْحُسُورِ\
   *wa qus'aaraayal-iq-raaru bil-h'usoori*\
   and the most I can do is admit to inability,

219. لاَ رَغْبَةً ـ يا إلهِي ـ بَلْ عَجْزاً،\
   *laa ragh-bataa-yaaa ilaahee bal a'j-zaa*\
   not out of desire, my God, but out of incapacity.

220. فَهَا أَنَا ذَا أَؤُمُّكَ بِالْوِفَادَةِ، وَأَسأَلُكَ حُسْنَ الرِّفَادَةِ،\
   *fahaaa ana d'aa aw-um-muka bil-wifaadah wa as-aluka h'us-nar-rifaadah*\
   So here I am: I repair to You by coming forward, and I ask from You good support

221. فَصلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِـهِ وَاسْمَعْ نَجْوَايَ،\
   *fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih was-maa' naj-waay*\
   So bless Muhammad and his Household, hear my whispered words,

222. وَاسْتَجِبْ دُعَائِي وَلاَ تَخْتِمْ يَوْمِيَ بِخَيْبَتِي،\
   *was-tajib dua'aa-ee wa laa takh-tim yaw-mee bikhay-batee*\
   grant my supplication, seal not my day with disappointment,

223. وَلاَ تَجْبَهْنِي بِالرَّدِّ فِي مَسْأَلَتِي،\
   *wa laa taj-bah-nee bir-rad-di fee mas-alatee*\
   slap not my brow by rejecting my request,

224. وَأكْرِمْ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مُنْصَرَفِي وَإلَيْكَ مُنْقَلَبِي،\
   *wa ak-rim min i'ndika muns'arafee wa ilay-ka munqalabee*\
   and make noble my coming from You and my going back to You!

225. إنَّكَ غَيْرُ ضَائِق بِمَا تُرِيْدُ وَلاَ عَاجِزٍ عَمَّا تُسْأَلُ،\
   *in-naka ghay-ru z''aaa-iqim-bimaa tureed wa laa a'ajizin a'm-maa tus-al*\
   Surely You are not constrained by what You desire, nor incapable of what You are asked!

226. وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء قَدِيْرٌ،\
   *wa anta a'laa kul-li shay-in qadeer*\
   You are powerful over everything,

227. وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إلاَّ بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ.\
   *wa laa h'aw-la wa laa qoo-wata il-laa bil-lahil-a'lee-yil-a'z'eem*\
   and there is no force and no strength save in God, the All-high, the All-mighty!

*This dua, known as “Dua al-Ahzab”, is recommended on Friday; Imam Ali (a) said that through it Allah removes the grief of the grieved:*

228. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَخَذْتُ الْأَوَّلِينَ‌ وَ أَخَذْتُ الْآخِرِينَ وَ أَخَذْتُ الْقَائِمِينَ وَ أَخَذْتُ الْقَاعِدِينَ تَغْشَى أَبْصَارَهُمْ ظُلْمَةٌ وَ تُرْسِلُ السَّمَاءُ عَلَيْهِمْ لَهَباً وَ الْأَرْضُ شُهُباً فَأَغْشَيْنٰاهُمْ فَهُمْ لٰا يُبْصِرُونَ اللَّهُ يَرْعَانِي وَ يُقَوِّينِي عَلَى الْخَلْقِ بِنُورِ اللَّهِ أَسْتَبْصِرُ وَ بِقُوَّةِ اللَّهِ الْقُدُّوسِ أَسْتَعِينُ اللَّهَ يُعْطِينِي وَ اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْجَبَّارُ يَرْفَعُنِي عَلَى أَجْنِحَةِ الْكَرُوبِيِّينَ وَ الصِّدِّيقِينَ وَ الصَّافِّينَ وَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْخَلْقِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الشَّمْسِ وَ الْقَمَرِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْكَوَاكِبِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهَ الْمَشَارِقِ وَ الْمَغَارِبِ لَكَ اللَّهُ أَدْعُو إِلَهاً مُقَدَّساً أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ الْوَاسِعَةُ رَحْمَتُهُ الْخَالِقُ كُرْسِيَّ عَظَمَتِهِ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَظِيمُ الْجَلِيلُ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ مَلِكُ الْمُلُوكِ تَكُونُ أَسْمَاؤُكَ هَذِهِ لِي عَضُداً وَ نَصْراً وَ فَتْحاً وَ هَيْبَةً وَ نُوراً وَ عَظَمَةً أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي وَ تَكُونُ‌ لِي حِفْظاً وَ خَلَاصاً وَ نَجَاحاً أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ تَغْشَانِي رَحْمَتُكَ وَ يَغْشَانِي عِقَابُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ هَيْبَتِكَ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْآفَاتِ كَمَا نَجَّيْتَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلَكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَ كَمَا كَبَسَ مُوسَى كَلِيمُكَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ هَذِهِ فَنَجِّنِي بِهَا وَ كَمَا الْأَرْضُ مَكْبُوسَةٌ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ وَ كَمَا بَنُو آدَمَ مَكْبُوسُونَ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ وَ تَحْتَ مَلَكِ الْمَوْتِ وَ كَمَا مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ مَكْبُوسٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ كَذَلِكَ يَكُونُ الْخَلَائِقُ مَكْبُوسِينَ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيَّ أَبَداً مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي يَا نَاصِرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ يَا صَرِيخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ وَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ أَنْتَ لِي حِرْزٌ مِنْ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ وَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ وَ بَنَاتِ حَوَّاءَ وَ أَتْبَاعِهِمْ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ أَنْ لَا يَسْطُوَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ عَزَّ جَارُكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ تَمَسَّكْتُ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقىٰ الَّتِي لَا انْفِصٰامَ لَهٰا الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهَا بَرٌّ وَ لَا فَاجِرٌ اعْتَصَمْتُ بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ الْمَتِينِ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَنْ يُرِيدُ بِي‌ سُوءً أَوْ يُرِيدُ بِي شَرّاً تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللّٰهَ بٰالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدْراً حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ أُومِنُ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَثِقُ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَتَعَوَّذُ وَ بِاللَّهِ أَعْتَصِمُ وَ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ أَسْتَجِيرُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَ لَا فَاجِرٌ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ وَ بَرَأَ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَا يَطْرُقُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ إِلَّا طَارِقاً يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنٰاصِيَتِهٰا وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ نَاظِرَةٍ وَ أُذُنٍ سَامِعَةٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَارِدٍ وَ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ وَ تَوَكَّلْتُ فِي أُمُورِي عَلَيْكَ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي وَ مَوْلَايَ إِلَهِي فَلَا تُسَلِّمْنِي وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي وَ لَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِذُنُوبِي وَ إِسْرَافِي عَلَى نَفْسِي وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى شُكْرِ نِعْمَتِكَ يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا جَبَّارُ اجْعَلْنِي عَبْداً شَكُوراً لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ أَنْتَ‌ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَ مَا فِيهِنَّ وَ مَا فَوْقَهُنَّ وَ مَا بَيْنَهُنَّ وَ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰالَمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْنِي إِلَى جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ حَتَّى لَا يَكُونَ لِي فِي قَلْبِ أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ غِلْظَةٌ وَ لَا يُعَارِضُونِّي وَ اجْعَلْهُمْ يَسْتَقْبِلُونِّي بِوُجُوهٍ بَسِيطَةٍ وَ يَقْضُونَ حَوَائِجِي وَ يَطْلُبُونَ مَرْضَاتِي وَ يَخْشَوْنَ سَخَطِي بِاسْمِكَ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَظِيمِ الْأَعْظَمِ أَدْعُوكَ يَا اللَّهُ يَا نُوراً فِي نُورٍ وَ نُوراً إِلَى نُورٍ وَ نُوراً فَوْقَ نُورٍ وَ نُوراً تَحْتَ نُورٍ وَ نُوراً يُضِي‌ءُ بِهِ كُلُّ نُورٍ وَ كُلُّ ظُلْمَةٍ وَ يُطْفَى بِهِ شِدَّةُ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَ سُلْطَانٍ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي تَكَلَّمَ بِهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ فَلَا يَكُونُ لِلْمَوْجِ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلٌ وَ بِهِ يَذِلُّ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ يَكُونُ \[الْخَلَائِقُ\] تَحْتَ قَدَمَيَّ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ وَ اسْتَقْرَرْتَ بِهِ عَلَى عَرْشِكَ وَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيمِ الْأَعْظَمِ يَكُونُ لِي نُوراً وَ هَيْبَةً عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ الْخَلْقِ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ أَنْتَ الْجَوَادُ الْكَرِيمُ‌ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ الْعَظِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ يَا رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ وَارِثَهُ يَا اللَّهُ أَنْتَ الْمَحْمُودُ فِي كُلِّ فِعَالِهِ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ يَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الرَّفِيعُ فِي جَلَالِهِ يَا اللَّهُ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ يَا رَحْمَانَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ رَاحِمَهُ يَا مُمِيتَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ وَارِثَهُ يَا حَيُّ حِينَ لَا حَيَّ فِي دَيْمُومِيَّةِ مُلْكِهِ وَ بَقَائِهِ يَا رَافِعُ الْمُرْتَفِعُ فَوْقَ سَمَائِهِ بِقُدْرَتِهِ يَا قَيُّومُ لَا يَفُوتُهُ شَيْ‌ءٌ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا آخِرُ يَا بَاقِي يَا أَوَّلَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ آخِرَهُ يَا دَائِمُ بِغَيْرِ فَنَاءٍ وَ لَا زَوَالٍ لِمُلْكِهِ يَا صَمَدُ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَبِيهٍ فَلَا شَيْ‌ءَ كَمِثْلِهِ يَا مُبْدِئَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ مُعِيدَهُ يَا مَنْ لَا يَصِفُ الْوَاصِفُونَ كُنْهَ جَلَالِهِ فِي مُلْكِهِ وَ عِزِّهِ وَ جَبَرُوتِهِ يَا كَبِيرُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي لَا تَهْتَدِي الْعُقُولُ لِصِفَتِهِ فِي عَظَمَتِهِ يَا بَاعِثُ يَا مُنْشِئُ بِلَا مِثَالٍ يَا زَاكِي الطَّاهِرُ مِنْ كُلِّ آفَةٍ يَا كَافِي الْمُتَوَسِّعُ لِمَا خَلَقَ مِنْ عَطَايَا فَضْلِهِ الَّذِي لَا يَنْفَدُ يَا نَقِيُّ \[نَقِيّاً\] مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ لَمْ يُخَالِطْهُ فِعَالُهُ يَا جَبَّارُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْ‌ءٍ رَحْمَتُهُ‌ يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ أَنْتَ الَّذِي قَدْ عَمَّ الْخَلَائِقَ مَنُّهُ وَ فَضْلُهُ يَا دَيَّانَ الْعِبَادِ وَ كُلٌّ يَقُومُ خَاضِعاً لِهَيْبَتِهِ يَا خَالِقَ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ وَ كُلٌّ إِلَيْهِ مِيعَادُهُ يَا رَحِيمَ كُلِّ صَرِيخٍ وَ مَكْرُوبٍ يَا صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ فَلَا تَصِفُ الْأَلْسُنُ جَلَالَ مُلْكِهِ وَ عِزِّهِ يَا مُبْدِئَ الْبَدَائِعِ لَمْ يَبْتَغِ فِي إِنْشَائِهَا عَوْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا عَالِمَ الْغُيُوبِ فَلَا يَفُوتُهُ شَيْ‌ءٌ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا مُعِيدَ مَا أَفْنَى إِذَا بَرَزَ الْخَلَائِقُ لِدَعْوَتِهِ مِنْ مَخَافَتِهِ يَا حَلِيماً ذَا أَنَاةٍ فَلَا شَيْ‌ءَ يُعَادِلُهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ يَا حَمِيدَ الْفِعَالِ فِي خَلْقِهِ بِلُطْفِهِ يَا عَزِيزُ الْغَالِبُ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ فَلَا شَيْ‌ءَ يُعَادِلُهُ يَا ظَاهِرَ \[قَاهِرَ\] الْبَطْشِ الشَّدِيدِ الَّذِي لَا يُطَاقُ انْتِقَامُهُ يَا عَالِي الْقَرِيبُ فِي عُلُوِّهِ وَ ارْتِفَاعِهِ وَ دَوَامِهِ يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ فَلَا شَيْ‌ءَ يَقْهَرُ سُلْطَانَهُ يَا نُورَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ هُدَاهُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي أَضَاءَتِ الظُّلْمَةُ بِنُورِهِ يَا قُدُّوسُ الطَّاهِرُ فَلَا شَيْ‌ءَ كَمِثْلِهِ يَا قَرِيبُ الْمُجِيبُ الْمُتَدَانِي دُونَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ يَا عَالِي الشَّامِخُ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَوْقَ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ عُلُوُّهُ وَ ارْتِفَاعُهُ يَا بَدِيعَ الْبَدَائِعِ وَ مُعِيدَهَا بَعْدَ فَنَائِهَا بِقُدْرَتِهِ يَا مَلِكُ‌ يَا مُتَكَبِّرُ يَا مَنِ الْعَدْلُ أَمْرُهُ وَ الصِّدْقُ وَعْدُهُ يَا مَحْمُوداً فِي أَفْعَالِهِ فَلَا تَبْلُغُ الْأَوْهَامُ كُنْهَ جَلَالِهِ فِي مُلْكِهِ وَ عِزِّهِ يَا كَرِيمَ الْعَفْوِ أَنْتَ الَّذِي مَلَأَ كُلَّ شَيْ‌ءٍ عَدْلُهُ وَ فَضْلُهُ يَا عَظِيمَ الْمَفَاخِرِ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ فَلَا يُدْرَكُ عِزُّ مُلْكِهِ يَا عَجِيبُ فَلَا تَنْطِقُ الْأَلْسُنُ بِكُلِّ آلَائِهِ وَ ثَنَائِهِ أَسْأَلُكَ يَا اللَّهُ أَمَاناً مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ نُوراً وَ نَصْراً وَ رِفْعَةً عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ وَ بَنَاتِ حَوَّاءَ رَبَّ الْأَرْوَاحِ الْفَانِيَةِ وَ الْأَجْسَادِ الْبَالِيَةِ وَ الْأَرْوَاحِ الْمُرْتَفِعَةِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِطَاعَةِ الْعُرُوقِ الْمُلْتَئِمَةِ إِلَى أَمَاكِنِهَا وَ بِطَاعَةِ الْقُبُورِ الْمُتَشَقِّقَةِ عَنْ أَهْلِهَا وَ بِدَعْوَتِكَ الصَّادِقَةِ فِيهِمْ وَ أَخْذِكَ الْحَقَّ مِنْهُمْ إِذَا بَرَزَ الْخَلَائِقُ فَهُمْ مِنْ مَخَافَتِكَ وَ شِدَّةِ سُلْطَانِكَ يَنْتَظِرُونَ قَضَاءَكَ وَ يَخَافُونَ عَذَابَكَ وَ يَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَكَ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ الْفَائِزِينَ وَ أَلْقِ عَلَيَّ مَحَبَّةً وَ نُوراً وَ نِعْمَةً وَ هَيْبَةً وَ اجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنْ يُسْمَعُ قَوْلِي وَ يُرْفَعُ أَمْرِي عَلَى كُلِّ أَمْرٍ أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ الْفَقِيرُ إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ اجْعَلْنِي‌ اللَّهُمَّ عَالِياً مُتَعَالِياً يَا نُورَ النُّورِ يَا مِصْبَاحَ النُّورِ أَدْرَأُ بِكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَ أَسْتَعِيذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ وَ أَسْتَعِينُ بِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاكْفِنِي أَمْرَهُمْ بِلَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ يَا اللَّهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ إِنْ نَشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ السَّمٰاءِ آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنٰاقُهُمْ لَهٰا خٰاضِعِينَ إِنّٰا رُسُلُ رَبِّكَ لَنْ يَصِلُوا إِلَيْكَ يٰا مُوسىٰ أَقْبِلْ وَ لٰا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الْآمِنِينَ كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَأَغْلِبَنَّ أَنَا وَ رُسُلِي إِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ اللَّهُمَّ بِعِزَّتِكَ يَا دَائِمَ الْبَقَاءِ أَسْأَلُكَ بِالاسْمِ الَّذِي أَحَطْتَهُ بِحِجَابِ النُّورِ نُورِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ تُضِي‌ءُ بِهِ أَبْصَارُ النَّاظِرِينَ عُذْتُ بِرُبُوبِيَّتِكَ يَا اللَّهُ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي تَقُولُ بِهِ لِلشَّيْ‌ءِ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ إِلَّا قَضَيْتَ حَاجَتِي وَ أَنْجَحْتَ طَلِبَتِي وَ يَسَّرْتَ أَمْرِي وَ سَتَرْتَ عَوْرَتِي وَ آمَنْتَ رَوْعَتِي وَ رَزَقْتَنِي نُوراً وَ عِزّاً وَ هَيْبَةً وَ قَبُولًا وَ رِفْعَةً عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ بِحَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَيْ‌ءٍ وَ هُوَ أَوْسَعُ مِنْهُ يَا دَائِمَ الْبَقَاءِ أَدِمْ مَا أَنَا فِيهِ مِنْ نِعْمَتِكَ وَ عَافِيَتِكَ وَ اجْعَلْ أُمُورِي أَوَّلَهَا‌ صَلَاحاً وَ آخِرَهَا فَلَاحاً بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   In the name of God and by God I took the first two and took the others And I took the ones in charge and started to cheat Their eyes are dark, and the sky sends flames on them, and the earth is meteors, so I cheat them, for they do not see. God takes care of me and strengthens me over creation. With the light of God, I see insight and by the power of the Holy God, I seek the help of God, He gives me, and God the mighty King lifts me up on the wings of the cherubs, the friends, the pure and the rosaries God is for you, I pray, and you are God, the most merciful of the merciful, God is for you, I pray The God of the heavens and the earth is for you God I call on the God of the angels who are close to you God I call the God of all creation for you God I call the God of the sun and the moon for you God I call the God of the planets for you God I call the God of the East and the West God for you I pray for a holy God You are God the Mighty, the Mighty, the Arrogant, the Merciful, the Merciful, the Wide, His Mercy, the Creator, the chair of His greatness, the Mighty, the Great, the Galilee. Blessed be the name of God, the King of kings. These names of yours shall be mine as strength, victory, conquest, prestige, light, and greatness. You have never kept me, and you will be my preservation, salvation and success. I am your servant and the son of your servant. Your mercy deceives me, and your punishment deceives me with your pride and prestige. We deliver me from pests, as you saved Abraham, your friend, from the fire, and as Moses pressed your words, Pharaoh, and by your names, we will save me. By it and as the earth is pressed under the sky, and as the sons of Adam are pressed under the sky and under the King of death, and as the King of death is pressed under the hands of God, the Lord of the worlds, so are creatures pressed under my feet, you have never revived me, O Nasser of the Muslims, and you cry out for the crying, and you are the most merciful of the merciful, you are my protector from all your creatures, and from the children of Adam and the daughters of Eve and their followers, and from the evil of Jinn and mankind not to rob any of them Your neighbor's glory There is no god but you I stuck to the most trustworthy handhold that is inseparable from him that is not exceeded by righteousness or immorality I held fast to the strong rope of God I seek refuge in God from the evil of the immorality of Arabs and non-Arabs and from the evil of the jinn and the human and from the evil of those who want evil in me or want evil in me I trusted God And whoever trusts in God, he thinks that God has made everything a destiny God is sufficient for me in the name of God and in God I believe and in God I trust and in God I seek refuge and in God I protest and by God the Almighty I seek refuge from the accursed devil I seek refuge in the perfect words of God that are not exceeded by righteousness or wickedness from what is sown and innocent and from the evil of everything that knocks day and night Except Tariq knocks well with your mercy, O most merciful of all the merciful. O God, I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself and from the evil of every beast. You are taking His righteousness, and from the evil of every eye that is looking and ear that hears, and from the evil of every genie and mighty stubborn. O Allah, I turned my back to You, and I entrusted My affairs to You, You, my guardian and my Lord, my God. So do not deliver me up, do not let me down, and do not give me a blink to myself. Eye or TAnd take me for my sins and my extravagance on myself and I mean to thank your grace O Mohsen O Jabbar Make me a thankful slave There is no God but You, the Most High, the Great, on You I trusted, You are the Lord of the great throne There is no God but You, the Noble Halim Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, the Lord of the seven heavens and what is in them and what is above them and what is between them and the Lord of the great throne Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. O God, make me love all of your creatures, so that I will not have in the heart of anyone who created you a harshness and they will not oppose me, and make them receive me with simple faces, and fulfill my needs, and ask for my nurses, and fear my wrath in your holy and great greatest name. I call you, O God, O Nora, in light, and light to light, and light upon light, and light under light, and light with which every light shines, and Every darkness and extinguished by the intensity of every demon and authority And in your name which the angels spoke, so that the waves against them have no way, and by it humiliate every stubborn mighty \[creatures\] will be under my feet By your name, by which you named yourself and settled on your throne and on your throne In your great and greatest name, I shall have light and prestige for all creation by your holy and blessed names, you are the horse The Generous, the Mighty, the Mighty, the Arrogant, the Great There is no God but You, O God, everything and his heir, O God, you are the praiseworthy in all his actions, O Most Merciful, O There is no God but You, the Most High in His Majesty, O God, the Most Merciful Above his sky with his power, O the Subsistent, he does not miss a thing of his creation, oh the last, the rest, the first of everything and the end, you are permanent, without annihilation, and there is no demise of his queen, O Samad, without a lookalike, nothing is like him, oh the principle of everything, and a repeater, you who do not describe the prescribers, but he is majesty in his queenship, glory and might, oh great You are the one whose minds are not guided by his attribute in his greatness, you emitter, you builder without example O Zaki who is pure from every scourge, O enough expander of what he created from the gifts of his bounty that does not run out, O pure \[pure\] from all evil that has not been mixed with him effectively, O mighty, you who have expanded everything, his mercy, O Hanan, O Manan, O the majesty and honor, you who have pervaded the creatures from him and his bounty, O judge of servants, and everyone rises subject to his prestige, O Creator of what is in the heavens and The two lands and each has his time O merciful every screaming and anguished O the truthful of the promise, do not describe the tongues Jalal is his queen and glory O the principle of Badaa'A He did not seek to create it to help anyone who created him O world of the unseen, he does not miss anything of his creations O assistant I will not perish if the creatures appear to call him from his fear O Halima this is selfish Nothing is equivalent to him from his creations O Hamid who is effective in his creation with his kindness O Aziz is the one who is the one who is on his order there is nothingEquivalent to it, O Zahir \[conqueror\] severe oppression whose revenge is unbearable, O high, near in its height, height, and whirlpool O tenderness, O Manan, nothing conquers His authority, O light of everything and guide him You are the one who lit up darkness with his light, O Holy One, the Immaculate, for nothing is like Him, O relative of the low respondent Without everything, O high, lofty in the sky, above everything, His height and elevation, O wonderful Badaea and its repeater after its annihilation with his ability O King Oh ? O who is just is his command and honesty is his promise O Mahmuda in his actions Do not reach illusions But he is majesty in his kingdom and glory O generous Pardon you are the one who filled everything with justice and virtue O great pride and pride He does not realize the glory of his kingdom O strange so that tongues do not pronounce with all his pains and praise I ask you O May Allah protect us from your punishment in this world and the hereafter, and I ask you for light, victory, and elevation for all your creatures, including the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve, the Lord of mortal spirits, worn bodies, and high spirits, and I ask you to obey the healed veins to their places, and to obey the cracked graves from their people, and to pray sincerely in them, and to take the truth from them, if creatures emerge, they are from Your fear and the strength of your power await your judgment, fear your torment, and beg for your mercy. Make me one of the winning close people, and cast upon me love, light, grace and prestige. Make me one of those who listen to my words and raise my order over every matter. I am your servant and your poor servant's son. To your mercy, make me . O God, high and transcendent, O light of light, O lamp of light, I turn you in their throats, and I seek refuge in you from their evils, and I seek help from you against them, so suffice me with their affairs without power, and there is no power except in you, O Almighty God, if it arises, we will descend on them from heaven, a sign, and their necks will remain humble to him, for the messengers of your Lord will not reach you, Moses, accept and do not be afraid, you are one of the believers, the books of God For most of them me and my messengers God is strong and dear O God with your glory O everlasting I ask you by the name that you put in the veil of light the light of the heavens and the earth illuminates the eyes of the beholders with it I am tormented by your Lordship O God in your name that you say to the thing be and it will be Except that I fulfilled my need, succeeded my request, facilitated my matter, covered my nakedness, believed in my magnificence, and provided me with light, consolation, prestige, acceptance and elevation to all your creatures with your power and strength, and in your name, which expanded everything and is wider than it, O everlasting survival, Adam what I am in of your grace and well-being, and make my things the first of them good and the last of which is a farmer with your mercy, O most merciful of all Then pray for what you love, for it will be answered hopefully Almighty and may God's prayers be upon the Master of the Messengers, Muhammad the Prophet and his family, the good, the pure, the good, the virtuous, the rulers, the just, the blossoms.He changed the Mayamin and handed him a delivery.

*The tasbih for Friday, glorifying Allah:*

229. بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ\
   In the name of Allah, the Beneficent and Merciful.

230. سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْعِزَّ وَ فَازَ بِهِ\
   Glory be to Him Who has dressed with grandeur and owned it!

231. سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَعَطَّفَ بِالْمَجْدِ وَ تَكَرَّمَ بِهِ\
   Glory be to Him Who has deigned and condescended with grandeur!

232. سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَنْبَغِي التَّسْبِيحُ إِلَّا لَهُ\
   Glory be to Him save Whom none is worthy of being glorified!

233. سُبْحَانَ مَنْ أَحْصَى كُلَّ شَيْ‏ءٍ بِعِلْمِهِ\
   Glory be to Him Whose knowledge has counted all things!

234. سُبْحَانَ ذِي الطَّوْلِ وَ الْفَضْلِ‏\
   Glory be to The endurance and The Most gracious!

235. سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْمَنِّ وَ النِّعَمِ\
   Glory be to You Who holds all abundance and bounties!

236. سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْقُدْرَةِ وَ الْكَرَمِ\
   Glory be to the Powerful and Generous!

237. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَعَاقِدِ الْعِزِّ مِنْ عَرْشِكَ\
   O Allah, I beseech You in the name of the objects of dignity in Your Throne,

238. وَ مُنْتَهَى الرَّحْمَةِ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ\
   in the name of the utmost mercy in Your Book,

239. وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَعْظَمِ وَ ذِكْرِكَ الْأَعْلَى\
   and in the name of Your Greatest Name, Your highest remembrance,

240. وَ بِكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّةِ\
   and Your Accomplished Words.

241. وَ تَمَّتْ كَلِمَاتُكَ‏ صِدْقاً وَ عَدْلًا\
   And Your words became perfected in truth and justice.

242. لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ‏\
   None can change Your words;

243. \[ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ‏ \[الْكَرِيمُ‏\
   indeed You are The noble and wise!

244. يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ\
   O, The Possessor of Majesty and Grace;

245. أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا لَا يَعْدِلُهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنْ مَسَائِلِكَ\
   I beseech you in the name of The requests that are made to you which nothing can match it,

246. أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   To bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

247. وَ تَجْعَلَ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي فَرَجاً وَ مَخْرَجاً\
   and make for my relief and exit regarding my affair,

248. وَ أَنْ تُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ رِزْقِي فِي يُسْرٍ مِنْكَ وَ عَافِيَةٍ\
   and is possible for me enough means of livelihood with easiness and good health from you!

249. سُبْحَانَ الْحَيِّ \[الْقَيُّومِ‏\] الْحَلِيمِ\
   Glory be to the Living, the Self-Subsistent, and the most Forbearing!

250. سُبْحَانَ الْحَكِيمِ \[الْحَلِيمِ‏\] الْكَرِيمِ\
   Glory be to The wise and Noble!

251. سُبْحَانَ الْبَاعِثِ الْوَارِثِ\
   Glory be to the awakener and Successor!

252. سُبْحَانَ \[اللهِ‏\] الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ\
   Glory be to Allah the Most High and the Incomparably Great!

253. سُبْحَانَهُ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ\
   Glory be to Him, and (all) the praise be to Him!

254. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   O Allah, Send Blessings upon Muhammad and the household Of Muhammad;

255. كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَ بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ\
   as You bestowed blessings, increase, and mercy upon Ibrahim

256. وَ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ\
   and the progeny of Ibrahim, indeed You are the praised and the glorious!

*The isti'adha for Friday, seeking Allah's protection:*

257. بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ‏\
   In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

258. لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ\
   There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Highest, the Mighty;

259. اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ الرُّوحِ وَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ\
   Allah, the Lord of the angels, Spirits, Prophets, and Messengers,

260. وَ قَاهِرَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ\
   Subduer of those in the heavens and earth,

261. وَ خَالِقَ كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ وَ مَالِكَهُ\
   Creator of all things, and their King.

262. كُفَّ عَنَّا بَأْسَ أَعْدَائِنَا وَ مَنْ أَرَادَ بِنَا سُؤاً مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ\
   Protect me from our enemies' might, whether human or Jinn,

263. وَ أَعْمِ أَبْصَارَهُمْ وَ قُلُوبَهُمْ\
   blind their sight and hearts,

264. وَ اجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَ بَيْنَهُمْ حِجَاباً وَ حَرَساً وَ مَدْفَعاً\
   and make between them and us a guard, a barrier, and a defense.

265. إِنَّكَ رَبُّنَا لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ لَنَا إِلَّا بِاللهِ عَلَيْهِ\
   Surely You are the defenser Lord. There is no might nor power except with You.

266. تَوَكَّلْنَا وَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَبْنَا\
   In You we trust; to You, we turn.

267. وَ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ‏\
   You are the Mighty, the Wise.

268. رَبَّنَا عَافِنَا مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ سُوؤٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ\
   Therefore, protect us from the evil of every creature

269. أَنْتَ‏ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِها\
   You have taken by the forelock,

270. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما سَكَنَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهارِ\
   the evil of what inhabits the night and day,

271. وَ مِنْ \[شَرِّ\] كُلِّ سُوؤٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ\
   and evil of every evil thing.

272. رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ إِلَهَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ\
   May it be so, O Lord of the Worlds, and bless Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy, and his pure family

273. وَ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ خُصَّ مُحَمَّداً وَ آلَهُ بِأَتَمِّ ذَلِكَ\
   and companions, especially Muhammad and his family.

274. وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ\
   And there is no strength or power, except for Allah, the high and the mighty.

275. بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ أُومِنُ وَ بِاللهِ أَعُوذُ وَ بِاللهِ\
   In the name of Allah; by Allah, I believe; by Allah, I seek protection;

276. أَعْتَصِمُ وَ بِاللهِ أَسْتَجِيرُ وَ بِعِزَّةِ اللهِ\
   by Allah, hold fast; by Allah, I seek sanctuary.

277. وَ مَنَعَتِهِ أَمْتَنِعُ مِنْ شَيَاطِينِ الْإِنْسِ وَ الْجِنِّ\
   I repel against Satan of humans and Jinn,

278. وَ مِنْ رَجِلِهِمْ وَ خَيْلِهِمْ وَ رَكْضِهِمْ وَ عَطْفِهِمْ\
   from their walkers; riders, runners, sympathy,

279. وَ رَجْعَتِهِمْ وَ كَيْدِهِمْ وَ شَرِّهِمْ وَ شَرِّ\
   return, deceit, and evil by Allah's might and defense.

280. مَا يَأْتُونَ بِهِ تَحْتَ اللَّيْلِ وَ تَحْتَ النَّهَارِ\
   And the evil of what they bring beneath the night and day,

281. مِنَ الْبُعْدِ وَ الْقُرْبِ\
   whether far or close.

282. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْغَائِبِ وَ الْحَاضِرِ\
   And the evil of the absentee, presented,

283. وَ الشَّاهِدِ وَ الزَّائِرِ أَحْيَاءً وَ أَمْوَاتاً أَعْمَى وَ بَصِيراً\
   witness, and visitor, whether alive and dead; endowed with eyesight and blind.

284. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْعَامَّةِ وَ الْخَاصَّةِ وَ مَنْ نَفْسٍ وَ وَسْوَسَتِهَا\
   And the evil of the general and special, and self's tempting!

285. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الدَّنَاهِشِ وَ الْحِسِّ وَ اللَّمْسِ\
   And the evil of Al-Dinahesh (kind of Jinn), faint nose, taction,

286. وَ وَ اللَّبْسِ وَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ\
   possess of Jinn and humans.

287. وَ بِالْاِسْمِ الَّذِي اهْتَزَّ لَهُ عَرْشُ بِلْقِيسَ\
   And by the name of this particular name which Balqees' throne shook.

288. وَ أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَ دِينِي وَ جَمِيعَ مَا تُحِيطُهُ \[تَحُوطُهُ‏\] عِنَايَتِي\
   And, I seek refuge for myself, religion, and everything that is surrounded by my consideration

289. مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ صُورَةٍ وَ خِيَالٍ\
   from the evil of every picture and imagination,

290. أَوْ بَيَاضٍ أَوْ سَوَادٍ أَوْ تِمْثَالٍ أَوْ مُعَاهَدٍ أَوْ غَيْرِ\
   or whiteness, blackness, sculpture, alley or not.

291. مُعَاهَدٍ مِمَّنْ يَسْكُنُ الْهَوَاءَ وَ السَّحَابَ\
   From who reside in the air, clouds,

292. وَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَ النُّورَ وَ الظِّلَّ وَ الْحَرُورَ\
   darknesses, lights, shadows, heat,

293. وَ الْبَرَّ وَ الْبُحُورَ وَ السَّهْلَ وَ الْوُعُورَ\
   land, seas, plains, rough roads,

294. وَ الْخَرَابَ وَ الْعُمْرَانَ وَ الْآكَامَ وَ الْآجَامَ\
   ruins, civilization, hillocks, bushes,

295. وَ الْمَغَايِضَ وَ الْكَنَائِسَ وَ النَّوَاوِيسَ\
   jungles, churches, sarcophaguses,

296. وَ الْفَلَوَاتِ وَ الْجَبَّانَاتِ\
   wilderness, and Cemeteries.

297. مِنَ الصَّادِرِينَ وَ الْوَارِدِينَ مِمَّنْ يَبْدُو\
   The coming and going from who appears

298. بِاللَّيْلِ وَ تَبْتَشِرُ \[تَنْتَشِرُ\] بِالنَّهَارِ\
   in the night and spreads in the day;

299. وَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَ الْإِبْكَارِ وَ الْغُدُوِّ وَ الْآصَالِ\
   in the early hours of night and morning, in the morning and the evening hours,

300. وَ الْمُرِيبِينَ وَ الْأَسَامِرَةِ وَ الْأَفَاتِرَةِ وَ الْفَرَاعِنَةِ\
   and the; suspicious, conversationalists, devils, tyrants,

301. وَ الْأَبَالِسَةِ وَ مِنْ جُنُودِهِمْ وَ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ\
   and satans, and from their; soldiers, partners,

302. وَ عَشَائِرِهِمْ وَ قَبَائِلِهِمْ وَ مِنْ هَمْزِهِمْ وَ لَمْزِهِمْ\
   clans, and tribes, and from their; backbiting, slandering,

303. وَ نَفْثِهِمْ \[وَ نَفْخِهِمْ‏\] وَ وِقَاعِهِمْ وَ أَخْذِهِمْ\
   the defamed poem (puffing up), plotting, taking,

304. \[وَ سِحْرِهِمْ وَ ضَرْبِهِمْ وَ عَيْشِهِمْ \[عَبَثِهِم‏\
   magic, hitting, existing, (playing),

305. وَ لَمْحِهِمْ وَ احْتِيَالِهِمْ وَ أَخْلَاقِهِمْ\
   hinting, deceiving, and morals.

306. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ مِنَ السَّحَرَةِ وَ الْغِيلَانِ\
   And against the evil of all; the magicians, monsters,

307. وَ أُمِّ الصِّبْيَانِ وَ مَا وَلَدُوا وَ مَا وَرَدُوا\
   Um Al-Sibiaan evil and what they gave birth to and came out of them.

308. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرٍّ دَاخِلٍ وَ خَارِجٍ\
   And against the evil of all that is; coming in and going out,

309. وَ عَارِضٍ وَ مُتَعَرِّضٍ وَ سَاكِنٍ وَ مُتَحَرِّكٍ\
   clashing and exposed, quiet and moving,

310. وَ ضَرَبَانِ عِرْقٍ وَ صُدَاعٍ وَ شَقِيقَةٍ وَ أُمِّ مِلْدَمٍ\
   veins throbbing, headache, migraine, (Um-Muldim),

311. وَ الْحُمَّى وَ الْمُثَلَّثَةِ وَ الرِّبْعِ وَ الْغِبِّ وَ النَّافِضَةِ\
   fever, triple (days of fever), quartan fever, every other day fever, shivering fever,

312. وَ الصَّالِبَةِ وَ الدَّاخِلَةِ وَ الْخَارِجَةِ\
   stiffing fever and coming in and going out evil.

313. وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ‏ آخِذٌ بِناصِيَتِها\
   And the evil of "every crawling creature that You has taken by the forelock!

314. إِنَّكَ‏ عَلى‏ صِراطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ‏\
   Surely You are on a straight path

315. وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدِ\
   and send Allah your enormous blessings upon Muhammad and his Household,

316. كَثِيراً وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً\
   and give them abundant peace!

*At midday on Friday, as the time of Dhuhr begins, say this, narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (a):*

317. لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ\
   *la ilaha illa allahu*\
   There is no god save Allah.

318. وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ\
   *wallahu akbaru*\
   Allah is the Most Great.

319. وَسُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ\
   *wa subhana allahi*\
   Glory be to Allah.

320. اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً\
   *alhamdu lillahi alladhi lam yattakhidh waladan*\
   All praise be to Allah Who has not taken to Himself a son

321. وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي ٱلْمُلْكِ\
   *wa lam yakun lahu sharikun fi almulki*\
   nor has He had any partner in sovereignty

322. وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ ٱلذُّلِّ\
   *wa lam yakun lahu waliyyun mina aldhdhulli*\
   nor does He need any to protect Him from humiliation,

323. وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيـراً\
   *wa kabbirhu takbiran*\
   and magnify Him for His greatness and glory.

*Then say:*

324. يَا سَابِغَ ٱلنِّعَمِ\
   *ya sabigha alnni\`ami*\
   O Conferrer of boon amply!

325. يَا دَافِعَ ٱلنِّقَمِ\
   *ya dafi\`a alnniqami*\
   O Repeller of troubles!

326. يَا بَارِئَ ٱلنَّسَمِ\
   *ya bari'a alnnasami*\
   O Maker of souls!

327. يَا عَلِيَّ ٱلْهِمَمِ\
   *ya \`aliyya alhimami*\
   O Sublime in determinations!

328. يَا مُغْشِيَ ٱلظُّلَمِ\
   *ya mughshiya alzzulami*\
   O Coverer \[of daylight\] with darkness!

329. يَا ذَا ٱلْجُودِ وَٱلْكَرَمِ\
   *ya dhaljudi walkarami*\
   O Lord of magnanimity and nobility!

330. يَا كَاشِفَ ٱلضُّرِّ وَٱلأَلَمِ\
   *ya kashifa alddurri wal-alami*\
   O Remover of harm and pains!

331. يَا مُؤْنِسَ ٱلْمُسْتَوْحِشِينَ فِي ٱلظُّلَمِ\
   *ya mu'nisa almustawhishina fi alzzulami*\
   O Entertainer of those lonely in darkness!

332. يَا عَالِماً لاَ يُعَلَّمُ\
   *ya \`aliman la yu\`allamu*\
   O All-knowing Who never needs teaching!

333. صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   (Please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

334. وَٱفْعَلْ بِي مَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ\
   *waf\`al bi ma anta ahluhu*\
   and do to me all that which befits You.

335. يَا مَنِ ٱسْمُهُ دَوَاءٌ\
   *ya man ismuhu dawa'un*\
   O He Whose Name is remedy,

336. وَذِكْرُهُ شِفَاءٌ\
   *wa dhikruhu shifa'un*\
   the remembrance of Whom is cure,

337. وَطَاعَتُهُ غَنَاءٌ\
   *wa ta\`atuhu ghana'un*\
   and the obedience to Whom is sufficiency,

338. إِرْحَمْ مَنْ رَاْسُ مَالِهِ ٱلرَّجَاءُ\
   *irham man ra'su malihi alrraja'u*\
   (please) have mercy upon him whose wealth is only hope \[for You\]

339. وَسِلاَحُهُ ٱلْبُكَاءُ\
   *wa silahuhu albuka'u*\
   and whose weapon is only weeping.

340. سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ\
   *subhanaka la ilaha illa anta*\
   Glory be to You. There is no god save You.

341. يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ\
   *ya hannanu ya mannanu*\
   O All-tender, O All-Bestower,

342. يَا بَدِيعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرْضِ\
   *ya badi\`a alssamawati wal-ardi*\
   O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth,

343. يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ\
   *ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami*\
   O Lord of majesty and honor.

*After the Dhuhr prayer, say this three times; Imam al-Sadiq (a) said whoever does is kept safe from affliction until the next Friday:*

344. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ صَلاَتَكَ\
   *allahumma ij\`al salawatika*\
   O Allah, (please do) let Your blessings

345. وَصَلاَةَ مَلاَئكَتِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ\
   *wa salata mala'ikatika wa rusulika*\
   and the blessings of Your angels and Messengers

346. عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *\`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   be on Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

*Imam al-Sadiq (a) said that whoever says this after the Fajr or Dhuhr prayer on Friday will not die before he lives to see Imam al-Mahdi (a):*

347. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa \`ajjil farajahum*\
   O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief.

*After the Dhuhr prayer, pray two rak'at with Surah al-Fatiha once and Surah al-Tawhid seven times in each, then say this, which keeps you safe from misfortune until the next Friday. If you are not a descendant of the Prophet (s), say “abihi” (his father) instead of “abina” (our father):*

348. اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْجَنَّةِ\
   *allahumma ij\`alni min ahli aljannati*\
   O Allah, include me with the inhabitants of Paradise

349. ٱلَّتِي حَشُوهَا ٱلْبَرَكَةُ\
   *allati hashwuha albarakatu*\
   whose stuffing is blessing

350. وَعُمَّارُهَا ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةُ\
   *wa \`ummaruha almala'ikatu*\
   and whose constructors are the angels

351. مَعَ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *ma\`a nabiyyina muhammadin*\
   with our Prophet Muhammad,

352. صَلَّىٰ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   peace of Allah be upon him and his Household,

353. وَأَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ\
   *wa abina ibrahima \`alayhi alssalamu*\
   and our father Abraham, peace be upon him.

*After the Asr prayer, the best hour of Friday, say this one hundred times:*

354. اللَّهُمُّ صَلّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa \`ajjil farajahum*\
   O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and hasten their Relief.

*After the Asr prayer, say this, ten times if you can; Imam al-Sadiq (a) said that whoever does receives the blessings of the angels until the same hour next Friday:*

355. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad—

356. ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ ٱلْمَرْضِيِّينَ\
   *al-awsiya'i almardiyyina*\
   the Successors and the pleased—

357. بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ\
   *bi-afdali salawatika*\
   with the best of Your blessings,

358. وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ\
   *wa barik \`alayhim*\
   and confer upon them

359. بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ\
   *bi-afdali barakatika*\
   with the best of your favors.

360. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِمْ\
   *wa alssalamu \`alayhim*\
   And peace be upon them

361. وَعَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَأَجْسَادِهِمْ\
   *wa \`ala arwahihim wa ajsadihim*\
   and upon their souls and bodies;

362. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon them.

*Shaykh al-Tusi recommends saying this one hundred times after the Asr prayer:*

363. صَلَوَاتُ اللّهِ وَملاَئِكَتِهِ\
   *salawatu allahi wa mala'ikatihi*\
   The blessings of Allah, His angels,

364. وَأَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ\
   *wa anbiya'ihi wa rusulihi*\
   His prophets, His messengers,

365. وَجَميعِ خَلْقِهِ\
   *wa jami\`i khalqihi*\
   and all of His creatures

366. عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *\`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   be upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

367. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ\
   *walssalamu \`alayhi wa \`alayhim*\
   And peace be upon him and upon them

368. وَعَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَأَجْسَادِهِمْ\
   *wa \`ala arwahihim wa ajsadihim*\
   and upon their souls and bodies.

369. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   So be Allah’s mercy and blessings.

*When you finish the Asr prayer on Friday, say this, once or seven times, as narrated in al-Kafi:*

370. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

371. ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ ٱلْمَرْضِيِّينَ\
   *al-awsya'i almardiyyina*\
   the Successors and the pleased

372. بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ\
   *bi-afdali salawatika*\
   with the best of Your blessings,

373. وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِمْ\
   *wa barik \`alayhim*\
   and confer upon them

374. بِأَفْضَلِ بَرَكَاتِكَ\
   *bi-afdali barakatika*\
   with the best of your favors.

375. وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ\
   *wa alssalamu \`alayhi wa \`alayhim*\
   And peace be upon him and them

376. وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ\
   *wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*\
   and Allah’s mercy and blessings be also upon them.

*Say this seventy times after the Asr prayer, for the forgiveness of your sins:*

377. أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ\
   *astaghfiru allaha wa atubu ilayhi*\
   I pray the forgiveness of Allah and I repent before Him.

*Imam al-Sadiq (a) said that whoever wishes to please the Prophet (s) and his Household (a) should send blessings on them with this:*

378. اَللَّهُمَّ يَا أَجْوَدَ مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ\
   *allahumma ya ajwada man a\`ta*\
   O Allah, O He Who is the most magnanimous of all those who may grant!

379. وَيَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ\
   *wa ya khayra man su'ila*\
   O He Who is the best of all those who are asked!

380. وَيَا أَرْحَمَ مَنِ ٱسْتُرْحِمَ\
   *wa ya arhama man isturhima*\
   O He Who is the most Merciful of all those whose mercy may be sought!

381. اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلأَوَّلِينَ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-awwalina*\
   O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the foremost generations,

382. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلآخِرِينَ\
   *wa salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-akhirina*\
   send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the last generations,

383. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلْمَلأِ ٱلأَعْلَىٰ\
   *wa salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almala'i al-a\`la*\
   send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Highest Chiefs,

384. وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ فِي ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ\
   *wa salli \`ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almursalina*\
   and send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Messengers.

385. اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَهُ\
   *allahumma a\`ti muhammadan wa alahu*\
   O Allah, (please) grant Muhammad and his Household

386. ٱلْوَسِيلَةَ وَٱلْفَضِيلَةَ\
   *alwasilata walfadilata*\
   the right of mediation, preference,

387. وَٱلشَّرَفَ وَٱلرِّفْعَةَ\
   *walshsharafa walrrif\`ata*\
   honor, loftiness,

388. وَٱلدَّرَجَةَ ٱلْكَبيرَةَ\
   *walddarajata alkabirata*\
   and the grand rank.

389. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin*\
   O Allah, I believed in Muhammad,

390. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu*\
   may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him;

391. فَلاَ تَحْرِمْنِي فِي ٱلْقِيَامَةِ رُؤْيَتَهُ\
   *fala tahrimni fi alqiyamati ru'yatahu*\
   so, do not deprive me of seeing him on the Resurrection Day,

392. وَٱرْزُقْنِي صُحْبَتَهُ\
   *warzuqni suhbatahu*\
   confer upon me with the favor of accompanying him,

393. وَتَوَفَّنِي عَلَىٰ مِلَّتِهِ\
   *wa tawaffani \`ala millatihi*\
   cause me to die while I follow his creed,

394. وَٱسْقِنِي مِنْ حَوْضِهِ\
   *wasqini min hawdihi*\
   and allow me to drink from his Pool

395. مَشْرَباً رَوِيّاً\
   *mashraban rawiyyan*\
   a drink that is quenching,

396. سَائِغاً هَنِيئاً\
   *sa'ighan hani'an*\
   palatable, and pleasant,

397. لاَ أَظْمَأُ بَعْدَهُ أَبَداً\
   *la azma'u ba\`dahu abadan*\
   after which I will never be thirsty.

398. إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ\
   *innaka \`ala kulli shay'in qadirun*\
   Truly, You have power over all things.

399. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin*\
   O Allah, I believe in Muhammad,

400. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu*\
   may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him;

401. فَعَرَِّفْنِي فِي ٱلْجِنَانِ وَجْهَهُ\
   *fa\`arrifni fi aljinani wajhahu*\
   so, (please) show me his face in the gardens of Paradise.

402. اَللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مُحَمَّداً\
   *allahumma balligh muhammadan*\
   O Allah, convey to Muhammad,

403. صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ\
   *salla allahu \`alayhi wa alihi*\
   may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household,

404. مِنِّي تَحِيَّةً كَثيرَةً وَسَلاَماً\
   *minni tahiyyatan kathiratan wa salaman*\
   many greetings and compliments from me.

*The Prophet (s) taught al-Salat al-Kamila, the Perfect Prayer: before midday on Friday, pray four rak'at, reciting Surah al-Fatiha, Surah al-Nas, Surah al-Falaq, Surah al-Tawhid, Surah al-Kafirun and Ayat al-Kursi ten times each in every rak'a. After the prayer, say this one hundred times:*

405. أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ\
   *astaghfiru allaha*\
   I implore for Allah’s forgiveness.

*Then say this one hundred times:*

406. سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ\
   *subhana allahiwalhamdu lillahi*\
   All glory be to Allah all praise be to Allah;;

407. وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ\
   *wa la ilaha illa allahu wallahu akbaru*\
   there is no god save Allah;Allah is the Greatest;

408. وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ\
   *wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi al\`aliyyi al\`azimi*\
   and there is no power and no might save with Allah, the All-high, the All-Great.

*Then say this salawat one hundred times:*

409. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   *allahumma salli \`ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin*\
   O Allah, (please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

*Imam Ali (a) said: if you can, pray ten rak'at on Friday, two at a time, and between each pair say this one hundred times:*

410. سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ\
   *subhana allahi wa bihamdihi*\
   All glory be to Allah and with the Praising o

*In the last hour of Friday, before sunset, when duas are answered, say this, reported from the Prophet (s):*

411. سُبْحَانَكَ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ\
   *subhanaka la ilaha illa anta*\
   Glory be to You! There is no god save You!

412. يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ\
   *ya hannanu ya mannanu*\
   O All-tender! O All-bestower!

413. يَا بَدِيعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرْضِ\
   *ya badi\`a alssamawati wal-ardi*\
   O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth!

414. يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإكْرَامِ\
   *ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami*\
   of Majesty and Honor.

*On Friday evening, the night before Saturday, pray two rak'at, with Surah al-Fatiha and Surah al-Qadr in the first and Surah al-Fatiha and Surah al-Zalzala in the second, and recite this dua:*

415. بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ‏\
   In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

416. سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا \[وَ بِحَمْدِكَ‏\] وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ\
   Glory be to You, O Allah, our God, (and for You is the praise!) To You be all praise;

417. أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ\
   You the Ever-living, Self-Subsisting,

418. الْأَوَّلُ الْكَائِنُ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ\
   The first existing; none was creating you,

419. أَوْ يُعَايَنْ شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنْ مُلْكِكَ\
   or any of your possessions were seen

420. أَوْ يُتَدَبَّرْ فِي شَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْ أَمْرِكَ أَوْ يُتَفَكَّرْ فِي شَيْ‏ءٍ\
   or contemplated in any of your matters or accomplishment.

421. مِنْ قَضَائِكَ قَائِمٌ بِقِسْطِكَ مُدَبِّرٌ لِأَمْرِكَ\
   Sitting on your throne, standing by your justice, controller of your affairs.

422. قَدْ جَرَى فِيمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ قَدَرُكَ\
   Your destiny has been applied to what happened,

423. وَ مَضَى فِيمَا أَنْتَ خَالِقٌ عِلْمُكَ\
   and your knowledge has been applied to what you created.

424. خَلَقْتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ‏ وَ الْأَرْضَ فِرَاشاً وَ بِنَاءً\
   You created the heavens and earth as a spreading and covering!

425. فَسَوَّيْتَ السَّمَاءَ مَنْزِلًا رَضِيتَهُ لِجَلالِكَ\
   Furthermore, you made the heavens accepted home to your majesty,

426. وَ وَقَارِكَ وَ عِزَّتِكَ وَ سُلْطَانِكَ\
   solemnity, superiority, and supremacy.

427. ثُمَّ جَعَلْتَ فِيهَا كُرْسِيَّكَ وَ عَرْشَكَ\
   Therefore, you maintained your chair and throne in it,

428. ثُمَّ سَكَنْتَهَا لَيْسَ فِيهَا شَيْ‏ءٌ غَيْرُكَ\
   lived in it without anything except You;

429. مُتَكَبِّراً فِي عَظَمَتِكَ مُتَعَظِّماً فِي كِبْرِيَائِكَ\
   proud in your greatness; significant in your pride;

430. مُتَوَحِّداً فِي عُلُوِّكَ مُتَمَكِّناً فِي مُلْكِكَ\
   the only one in your highness; capable of your kingdom;

431. مُتَعَالِياً فِي سُلْطَانِكَ مُحْتَجِباً فِي عِلْمِكَ\
   exalting in your authority; veiling yourself by your knowledge,

432. مُسْتَوِياً عَلَى عَرْشِكَ\
   sitting on your throne.

433. فَتَبَارَكْتَ وَ تَعَالَيْتَ\
   Therefore, blessed are You and high exalted!

434. وَ عَلَا هُنَاكَ بَهَاؤُكَ وَ نُورُكَ وَ عِزَّتُكَ وَ قُدْرَتُكَ\
   Up there, your; glory, light, might, omnipotence,

435. وَ سُلْطَانُكَ وَ حَوْلُكَ وَ قُوَّتُكَ وَ رَحْمَتُكَ\
   authority, solidity, power, mercy,

436. وَ قُدْسُكَ وَ أَمْرُكَ وَ مَخَافَتُكَ وَ تَمْكِينُكَ الْمَكِينُ\
   holiness, command, apprehension strengthening distinguished,

437. وَ كِبْرُكَ الْكَبِيرُ وَ عَظَمَتُكَ الْعَظِيمَةُ\
   splendid enormousness and great mightiness are soaring.

438. وَ أَنْتَ اللهُ الْحَيُّ قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ\
   You Allah the Ever-Living who was there before anything else,

439. وَ الْقَدِيمُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ قَدِيمٍ\
   the Sempiternal before any eternal,

440. وَ الْمَلِكُ بِالْمُلْكِ الْعَظِيمِ\
   The king with the great kingdom,

441. الْمُمْتَدَحُ الْمُمُدَحُ اسْمُكَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ\
   the praised praiseworthy name in heavens, earth,

442. وَ خَالِقُهُنَّ وَ نُورُهُنَّ وَ رَبُّهُنَّ وَ إِلَهُهُنَّ وَ مَا فِيهِنَّ\
   its; creator, light, God, and Allah and what's in them.

443. فَسُبْحَانَكَ وَ بِحَمْدِكَ رَبَّنَا وَ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ\
   Glory and praise be to You, Allah and Your Praise-worthiness is Most Exalted.

444. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَ نَبِيِّكَ\
   God, bless Muhammad, Your slave, messenger, prophet,

445. وَ اجْزِهِ بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ أَبْلَاهُ وَ شَرٍّ جَلَاهُ وَ يُسْرٍ أَتَاهُ\
   and reward him by; the best he did of, an evil he dispels, simplicity he accomplished,

446. وَ ضَعِيفٍ قَوَّاهُ وَ يَتِيمٍ آوَاهُ وَ مِسْكِينٍ رَحِمَهُ\
   strengthing of a weaker, sheltering an orphan, having mercy upon paupers,

447. وَ جَاهِلٍ عَلَّمَهُ وَ دِينٍ بَصَّرَهُ\
   the teaching of the ignorant, enlightening a pious

448. وَ حَقٍّ نَصَرَهُ الْجَزَاءَ الْأَوْفَى وَ الرَّفِيقَ الْأَعْلَى\
   and truth he helped with the; fullest repayment,highest helping friend

449. وَ الشَّفَاعَةَ الْجَائِزَةَ وَ الْمَنْزِلَ الرَّفِيعَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ عِنْدَكَ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ\
   rewarded intercession and a raised home in heaven close by you; may it be so, Lord of the worlds.

450. اجْعَلْ لَهُ مَنْزِلًا مَغْبُوطاً وَ مَجْلِساً رَفِيعاً\
   Make; an envied home for him, a high seated position,

451. وَ ظِلًّا ظَلِيلًا وَ مُرْتَفِعاً جَسِيماً جَمِيلًا\
   shadowy shade, enormous graceful lofty

452. وَ نَظَراً إِلَى وَجْهِكَ يَوْمَ تَحْجُبُهُ عَنِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ\
   and gazing upon Your face when you hinder it from the criminals.

453. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

454. وَ اجْعَلْهُ لَنَا فَرَطاً وَ اجْعَلْ حَوْضَهُ لَنَا مَوْرِداً\
   Make him for us; a precede, his pool our reach,

455. وَ لِقَاءَهُ لَنَا مَوْعِداً يَسْتَبْشِرُ بِهِ أَوَّلُنَا وَ آخِرُنَا\
   and his meeting a promise that our first and last be cheerful about,

456. وَ أَنْتَ عَنَّا رَاضٍ فِي دَارِكَ دَارِ السَّلَامِ\
   while You are satisfied with us in Your home; the abode of Islam,

457. مِنْ جَنَّاتِكَ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ\
   heavens; the Gardens of Delight

458. آمِينَ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ\
   may it be so, Allah of Truth, Lord of the worlds.

459. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

460. وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي هُوَ نُورٌ مِنْ نُورٍ وَ نُورٌ فَوْقَ كُلِّ نُورٍ\
   I beseech You in Your name, which is a light from light, and light upon every light.

461. وَ نُورٌ تُضِي‏ءُ بِهِ كُلَّ ظُلْمَةٍ\
   And the light which illuminates every darkness,

462. وَ تَكْسِرُ بِهِ قُوَّةَ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَرِيدٍ وَ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ وَ جِنِّيٍّ عَتِيدٍ\
   and You break with it the disobedient, obstinate tyrant, and prepared Jinn Satan (devil) power.

463. وَ تُؤْمِنُ بِهِ خَوْفَ كُلِّ خَائِفٍ\
   And secure the fear of every frightened.

464. وَ تُبْطِلُ بِهِ سِحْرَ كُلِّ سَاحِرٍ وَ حَسَدَ كُلِّ حَاسِدٍ\
   And inactive every magic of a magician and the evil of all those who are jealous!

465. وَ يَتَضَرَّعُ لِعَظَمَتِهِ الْبَرُّ وَ الْفَاجِرُ\
   His greatness is beseeched by every faithful and libertine.

466. وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَكْبَرِ الَّذِي سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ\
   And (I beseech ) by your great name that; You named Yourself with,

467. وَ اسْتَوَيْتَ بِهِ عَلَى عَرْشِكَ\
   the throne You established Yourself on

468. وَ اسْتَقْرَرْتَ بِهِ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّكَ\
   and Your chair that You sat firmly on

469. أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ\
   to send the blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

470. وَ أَنْ تُفَتَّحَ لِي اللَّيْلَةَ\
   Do open before me (the door) this night,

471. يَا رَبِّ بَابَ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ فَتَحْتَهُ لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ\
   O, Lord of every goodness door You opened before anyone of Your creatures,

472. وَ أَوْلِيَائِكَ وَ أَهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ\
   Your intimate servants, and those who obey You.

473. ثُمَّ لَا تَسُدَّهُ عَنِّي أَبَداً\
   Then do not ever close it before me;

474. حَتَّى أَلْقَاكَ وَ أَنْتَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ\
   until I meet You while You are satisfied with me.

475. أَسْأَلُكَ ذَلِكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَيْكَ فِيهِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ\
   I ask You for that by Your mercy and by Your ability, wishing for Your help in this request.

476. فَشَفِّعِ اللَّيْلَةَ يَا رَبِّ رَغْبَتِي وَ أَكْرِمْ طَلِبَتِي\
   Therefore, My Lord mediate for me tonight my desire; settle my need,

477. وَ نَفِّسْ كُرْبَتِي وَ ارْحَمْ عَبْرَتِي\
   relieve my distress, mercy upon my weeping,

478. وَ صِلْ وَحْدَتِي وَ آنِسْ وَحْشَتِي\
   associate my loneliness, divert my soleness,

479. وَ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَتِي وَ آمِنْ رَوْعَتِي وَ اجْبُرْ فَاقَتِي\
   hide my faults, calm my fear, settle my neediness,

480. وَ لَقِّنِّي حُجَّتِي وَ أَقِلْنِي عَثْرَتِي\
   dictate to me the principles of faith and lessen my lapses.

481. وَ اسْتَجِبْ اللَّيْلَةَ دُعَائِي وَ أَعْطِنِي مَسْأَلَتِي\
   Respond to my supplication today, (please) Answer my request,

482. وَ أَعْظِمْ مِنْ مَسْأَلَتِي وَ كُنْ بِدُعَائِي حَفِيّاً\
   make my request considerable, be gracious toward my prayer,

483. \[وَ كُنْ بِي رَحِيماً وَ لَا تُقَنِّطْنِي \[مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ‏\
   be merciful on me; do not make me lose hope of Your mercy.

484. وَ لَا تُؤْيِسْنِي مِنْ رَوْحِكَ وَ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي\
   (Please) do not make me despair of Your soothing mercy, do not abandon me;

485. وَ أَنَا أَدْعُوكَ وَ لَا تَحْرِمْنِي\
   while I beseech You, do not deprive me;

486. وَ أَنَا أَسْأَلُكَ وَ لَا تُعَذِّبَنِي وَ أَنَا أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ\
   while I ask You and do not punish me while I seek forgiveness of you.

487. يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ\
   O, Most Merciful of the merciful!

488. وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ\
   O, Allah's blessings upon Muhammad and his whole Household.
